Who submitted a timecard and who approved it?

I am looking for a query to show for a timecard, who submitted it and who last approved it. Can anyone help?

Ok, so there are a couple of options....
I'm not sure if this is setup specific but the approver for the timecards in our system is setup as the supervisor against the current assignment for the person setup.
Option A
query the per_all_assignments_f table and find the supervisor field. (obviously this doesn't take into account and changes in the workflow should the actual supervisor setup a redirection while they are away.
Option B
For some reason this did not return as many results as I would have expected but it was definitely correct for some entries. (It seems there is not always a notification_id present in the "WIAS" table but I think this is actually just a symptom of some of the workflow problems we've had recently.
select hts.*, wn.from_role timecard_submitter, wn.recipient_role timecard_approver
from hxc_timecard_summary hts,
wf_items wi,
wf_item_activity_status wias,
wf_notifications wn
where hts.approval_item_key = wf.item_key
and wi.item_key = wias.item_key
and wias.notification_id = wn.notification_id
I've re-written this query from memory so there may be an error or two but you get the point.
the submitter/approver field in the query above should equite the the fnd_user.user_name field if you need further details.
You can also take a look at the following note in Metalink as it shows the link between the workflow tables should you need further clarification.
Note: 444446.1 - Digram of relationship between core workflow tables
Hope this helps.

  • Submitting a podcast and iTunes approval

I submitted a podcast/podcast feed a number of weeks ago and it successfully published in iTunes, however a few days after successfully publishing the feed, iTunes removed it from the US store (most likely because of technical difficulties). I then re-created the podcast using Feed for All and have successfully validated the feed on numerous sites on the Web.
I have since resubmitted the feed to iTunes, however the feed is not publishing ... I check our link and it says the feed "cannot be located in the US store."
My question: How do I get my feed on iTunes even though my feed is valid and clean? I have submitted and resubmitted it over 3 times in the past 10 days with no luck.
Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
    S

One, how long does it take for a podcast to be accepted and found on the iTunes store?
    Up to two weeks.
Two, how does iTunes define- copyright? I have heard numerous podcasts with sound bytes taken from tv and radio programs, and they have all been approved.
If the copyright owner raises a complaint, the podcast may be removed. Apple does not appear to automatically screen content.

  • How to find the user who approved the workitem.

    Hi experts,
    I have created a parking/posting workflow.
When the user Approves, parked document is posted and BKPF table is updated with WF-BATCH as user name.
Now I need to find the actual user who approved the workitem for posting.
    My plan is:
    1. Find the workitem id using the BOR, company code, document no, year, task no.
    2. Find the user who processed the above obtained worktem id.
Please let me know the tables for the above points 1 and 2.
Or let me know if there is any other way to find the actual user.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi,
To get the workitem ID with respect to a specific business object instance make use of the FM SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT
To know who processed the determined workitem either you can make use of the FM SAP_WAPI_GET_WORKITEM_DETAIL or directly read the table SWWWIHEAD and you can find the actual agent WI_AAGENT this is the field which says who has executed the workitem.

  • Is there a way to find out details about, who approved the RMA on system using front end or back end?

Is there a way to find out details about, who approved the RMA on system using front end or back end?

But is there a way (simple or not-so-simple) to find
out EVERY SINGLE FILE that's referenced on a
timeline? (I have lots of stuff imported into the
project that I know isn't used on any timeline, but
I'm afraid of moving or deleting things for fear of
    never finding it again.)
I'd love to get some sort of "printout" (a list or
    something) of every single file.
There is, go to browser and cntrl click on any one of the columns,
and select - show/source. A new column named "source" will pop up and will show where everything "lives". Click on the header at the top and it will justify the column as well. You'll notice this won't show anything for your seq.'s. of course, but will show stills/audio/motion files...
Once you have the new column, you can drag it next to the "name" column and get a grab of it and print it if you like, or whatever.
If you want to do this for just 1 seq., then can create a new bin and double click it to open it. Cntrl-A (select all) in your main seq. and just drag all into the new bin. You will see only what's in that seq. with the "source" column right next to it.
From what I've read, you seem to get the MM thing and it's obviously what you'll need to do to archive as the guys said. But what your missing is a file path system to where everything resides.
Hope this helps and that I've read you properly,
    Peace

  • Tracing Who Approved a Device from ActiveSync Quarrantine

Is there a way to tell through the event logs who approved an ActiveSync Device out of quarrantine?  I have not been able to find an event id tied to a user account.  Although I can see the set-CASmailbox cmdlet was run.
I have a customer with an issue where several devices were approved by an IT staff of 10 without the proper BYOD paperwork being signed by the end user.
The staff are spread across 5 locations so getting them together is difficult.  I need a way to audit the approvals on an ongoing basis, and knowing who to speak to when the paperwork is missing so that I can reinforce to them the
proper policies and procedures for device approval.

I would search the AdminAuditLog for that information with something like:
    Search-AdminAuditLog -Cmdlets Set-Casmailbox -Parameters ActiveSyncAllowedDeviceIDs

Thank you for approving my feed iTunes . The only problem is, there is no art work, even though artwork was submitted correct sizes and formats were used. Why is this and how can the problem be rectified?

Thanks for getting back. Hadn't got round to re uploading the amended feed. I just did it now.
The only thing is, Feed Validator doesn't like it because of the picture size, and a couple of other things, it reeds the following:
    Sorry
    This feed does not validate.
    line 22, column 14: width must be between 1 and 144: 1400 [help] <width>1400</width>
                  ^

In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
Your feed appears to be encoded as "utf-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII" [help]

    Hi..
Here is technical details which will help if you are in SRM 7.0..
The below methods are in the class /SAPSRM/CL_WF_EVENT_FACADE
Pass the SC GUID to method 'GET_WORKFLOW_ID_BY_DOCUMENT'  .. get the header workitem id.
1 . to get the current approvers list call the method GET_CURRENT_AGENTS..
       2.  to get the previous approvers list call the method GET_PREVIOUS_AGENTS.
if you are in SRM 5.0 then use the below FM's..
1 . call the FM BBP_PDH_WFL_WI_FROM_OBJECT_GETu2019 to get the header workitem id..
2 . call the FM u2018BBP_WFL_DIN_APPR_FINALLIST_GETu2019  to get the list approver's for a SC
3 . if you need the workitem details then call FM BBP_PDH_WFL_WI_DETAILS_GETu2019..

  • Workflow Approbation - Accessing and Editing Approve/Reject state

    Hello
I'm creating a custom workflow in order to manage mass approbations. I have used the Approval and Multi Approval workflows to make my own one.
This work great except on one point: I can't use the standard approbation/reject buttons of the end user approvals list as i wish. I didn't find out in the workItem of type Approval where is set the accept or reject value.
I have seen in documentation that there are action and confirm attributes in WorkItem List View attribute but i don't see how to use it as i already have a view in use. I am using a custom workflow variable which hold the value of the result. This work except that i have to customize too the End User Approvals List to change this variable.
I guess there is somewhere an easy way to know about the state of an Approval WorkItem but dunno how to access it easily.
If you have got any idea, please tell me!
    Grtz,
    Adrien

    Thanks for your answer.
I agree with you but the problem is that the variable i'm looking for isn't in the WorkItem View (or i just didn't find it out).
I am looking for the location of the variable which indicate to the requestor the result of his approbation request (accepted or rejected) in order to make a custom report form. This way my requestor who make approbation for severals different users at the same time will have a report telling him which request was accepted or rejected.
    Hope this make much sense.

  • OTL - Table Relationship between Timecard and Workflow

    Hi All,
Our employees work multiple projects and charge their time thru OTL to each of individual project as appropriate every pay period. Each project has it's own project manager. When an employee sumbits his timecard for approval the workflow routes an approval notification to EACH project manager. Every project manager must approve the employee's timecard before the "overall" timecard status is APPROVED.
For example, an employee works on four diffent projects - each project has a different PM. When the employee submits his timecard for approval an approval notification is sent to all four PMs. However, more than occasionally at least one of the PMs doesn't approve the timecard in a timely fashion so the employee's timecard is "hung up" waiting for approval.
I need to write a query in which I specifiy both an employee and particular pay period, and the query returns for the employee/pay peirod EACH Project Name, the PM for the respective project, and whether or not the the PM has approved the employee's time for the respective PM's project in the specified pay period.
Unfortunately I don't really know where to start. I don't know if there is an HXC or group of HXC tables that would allow me to report on the individual project manager's 'status' (i.e., has a PM approved his project in the employee's timecard)...or do I need to allow include some workflow tables such as (maybe ?) wf_notifications ? And if I need to include some WF tables can someone help me understand where the relationship between timecard and WF is definded/stored (in other words, for a particular timecard how can I query a WF table - for example, wf_notifications - and find all the respective notifications associated with that particular timecard ?
I hope my question is clear, but please advise if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for the help !!
    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,
Did you ever get an answer on this question, as I have similar issues.
One question you may be able to answer - Do all approvals on the project side need to be done for ANY project information to pull into Project Accounting, or as each Project Manager approves their portion does it pull in to PA?
    Thanks very much!!

  • POs and Expenses Approval to be done through Blackberry

    Hi All,
I am seeking advice on approving POs and Expenses approval through blackberry.
Currently, we are using Oracle Purchasing and iExpenses alongwith other applications of Oracle E-Business Suite (version 11.5.10 on Solaris) and we want to make the system compliant with blackberry, so that people who are using blackberry would be able to approve expenses or POs using the same instead of logging into system using laptops.
Kindly, advice me if this can be achieved using BPEL?
Please let me know if you require any other information from me.
    Regards,
    Himanshu

If it's a windows application, you pretty much need Windows. Barring having the source code for your application, your initial approach via bootcamp seem to be the cheapest quickest solution. It might be time to just buy a version of windows and set it up via bootcamp.
I had a similar issue with a software, but luckily they had a version for linux. I was able to install Ubuntu on a partition, and get the software working. Perhaps your application has a linux version to can access?

  • Timecard details in approval notification

    Hi All,
My query is related to entering timecard in OTL for projects.
I am entering time against 2 projects in a timecard and timecard is being sent for approval to 2 different approvers having details of time entered against their respective projects.
e.g. approver one is getting data in its approval notification for project 1 only while approver 2 is getting project2 only in its notification.
I wish to know from which table, we can see what project and time data is being sent to approver 1 and what project and time data is being sent to approver 2.
Edited by: gsaxena on Oct 11, 2009 11:08 PM

When you submit time for multiple projects, mutiple application periods will be created, this application period is key for approvals.
So if you submit time for 3 projects, 3 application periods will be created and these 3 will be linked to main Timecard id.
This link will be stored in HXC_TC_AP_LINKS table.
Once you know the application period ids, query in HXC_APP_PERIOD_SUMMARY with the application period ids. in this table there is column called Time category id, this actually represents which project the application period is for. get the time category name (from HXC_TIME_CATEGORIES table), the name actually contains the project_id.
So once you identify the correct application period for a particular project, query in HXC_AP_DETAIL_LINKS table with the application period_id, this table contains the actual Detail building blocks belonging to a particular project.
    Hope my explanation is clear!!
Though it looks little complicated, just browse thru the above tables, you can understand easily.

This is quiet urgent issue . Any help would be really helpful.. Thanks..

    Hi Marlene,
Thank you very much for your suggestions.
But I am not creating a custom workflow in designer as Laura has mentioned. I am instead trying to create a new Out of the box Approval Workflow and I get the error mentioned above.
As it works in other environment, I tried figuring out the possible differences which can lead to this error.
Today I found one difference which is there are no form Templates within Infopath Configurations in Central Admin. Now I am trying to figure out what makes this form templates to be added to the template gallery.
