Who wants a challenge? Really big problem!

Okay I'm working on a web page here. This creates several problems becuase I've never built one with java interefaces before. I need to write a java interface with the html code. Like so:

yadayada(html code)
GUI
yadayada
GUI
End of web page
So i take in the information fromtwo different GUI's that are not connected for the simple reason that there is html code in between them. However, I need to take the information provided by both GUI's and move it to a separate application where the logical portion of the web page can work with it. Someone suggested a serlet might be necessary but I don't know how to write one. If you think I need one could you tell me how or tell where to find out?
Anyway second problem. After taking in the information from the GUI I have to create a new page which would look something like this.
Title
yadayada
yadayad
variable reference from the GUI
yadayada
more html code
etc.
To simplfy it I need to take the information I obtained through the java GUI and place it in a small and very specific area of the next page. I have no idea how to do this. If someone could give me a hand! Need help!

I guess you want to get values out of both applets (I assume you are using applets) into hidden fields. These would then be sent to the server during a http post for inclusion in the next page generated.
My first approach would be to put the 'Post' button on one of your applets (or in a separate one). When it is clicked, transfer the values you want over to the html hidden fields using the Netscape LiveConnect package before posting the form.

I have used LiveConnect to read fields from applets in this well flamed 5K entry: http://www.the5k.org/description.asp/entry_id=284 the sources for which are available on http://www.reg.clara.co.uk .
Despite appearing to be Netscape only, this actually works in NS4, NS6, IE4 and IE5. However, you have to be careful as some of the LiveConnect in IE4 doesn't seem to work.
The hard to spot detail is to add the MAYSCRIPT attribute to your APPLET tag, otherwise nothing happens.
You can get hold of values from other applets through the using the AppletContext, which will return references to other applets on the page. (Never tried this bit though).
A second but maybe simpler approach would to be to interrogate the applets from javascript. You can apparently call methods on your applets from javascript.

You can use the alternative called assistive touch to enable assistive touch go to settings>general>Accessibility>scroll down to the bottom of the page and enable assistive touch a white dot at the bottom right of your screen will appear press the white dot and you will see the home button

For anyone who wants a challenge....

I have an old imac that will not boot into any other form than the login screen. The computer person who set up the computer did not make me the admin, and I have no idea what the admin password is, so I cannot change what the startup disk is, nor disable the login screen from the system preferences. I also cannot boot from target disk mode, an installation CD/DVD or any other magical keyboard combinations. I tried resetting the PRAM, no bongs were heard, other than the original startup. All I want to do at this point is erase the hard drive and reinstall the system software, but as mentioned earlier, I cannot start up from the DVD. I do have the Al keyboard connected, but I highly doubt that changing that will fix things, but I will use another one tomorrow to see if that fixes anything. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?
It is designed to connect to our network, so I can login there, and get to my user interface, but again, I am not the admin - but I should also mention that I do own the computer... it is not stolen, hacked or whatever, I would just like it back to it's original state so it could function as a computer again. I am pretty sure my applecare has expired on this one too, which is unfortunate.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

HAVING A REALLY BIG PROBLEM

I was using my Mac this afternoon, and it froze up, I turned it off, than back on and still doing the same thing. I than again turned it off for a couple of hours, and still cannot get into anything. Please help,

I really think you have some hardware problems. It may just be the hard drive, but I can't tell.
When the disk came back out, did it try to read the disk before you restarted, and then spit it out?
If so, try shutting down, restart and put the disk in immediately while holding down the c key.

REALLY BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!!!! HELP

So I got this Microsoft mouse with a zoom button on it and when I turn on my powerbook it just zooms all the way in and I have to click the zoom button to get the screen back to normal.
so I had the bright idea to go into preferences and disable the zoom button.
so now i restart my computer and it zooms all the way in, but the zoom button is disabled so I cant zoom out. And the screen is zoomed in so far that all I can see is the pointer, so i can not go to preferences to change it.
So I am in a very bad position and i need to submit a project first thing tomorrow morning. Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
things i have tried:
I tried starting it up as an external hard drive and deleting all the microsoft mouse files but this did not work 3 times in a row. Every time I started back up it was zoomed in all the way and some the microsoft mouse preferences kept on showing up on the hard drive.

allright, I got it to work by just deleting my whole preferances folder, then reinstalling the mouse. But that only worked for like two startups now it is doing the same thing again!!!!!

REALLY BIG PROBLEM

I bought my ipod (30b classic) a year ago last tuesday, and a few weeks ago it broke, it wasnt recognized on a computer (i tried three) and it shows a sad face then turns off and it makes A clicking sound whenever i try to turn it on. i took it to the apple store a few days before my warraty would run out (because of the one year warranty) but when they looked at it they said it was purchased in JUNE and therefore my warranty had run out a few months back. i am 100% sure i bought it october last year, and the reciept is long gone. so i have a depressed ipod, no warranty, and no proof that the date is wrong.
i am at a loss of what to do..

Without the receipt there is nothing you can do about the warranty. I think the system is usually pretty close to when it was purchased. Did you do the online registration when you set up your iPod?

Really, really weird problem involving iPhone and Exposé

Hey Mac users, try to figure this one out, this started happening to me today:
My iPhone is rarely near my Mac Pro, but today I set it on top of my Mac Pro to let it charge. When it's connected to the Edge network, and there's network activity, I get the usual "beepbeepbeep" through my system's speakers, except now there's a twist. Whenever I hear the network activity interference, Exposé on my Mac Pro flips out, and acts as if I pushed the "Show/Hide Desktop" button a whole bunch of times. It stops when the activity stops.
It's not reproducible all the time, and only happens every once in a while. But it definitely only happens during Edge network activity. I've never gotten it while in 3G or Wifi modes.
I am guessing that the Edge signal is interfering with my Apple Bluetooth Keyboard, or something. I don't have any keys mapped to "Show Desktop," though.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear it. This isn't a really big problem, I just keep my phone away from my Mac Pro now.

If you go into settings - general - about it will give you the version, the latest one is 2.0.1. Updating your phone may solve the problems. Failing that, take it to your nearest Apple store for advice.

Very big problem: all titles deleted

i hope you can help me because i´ve got a really big problem (as my ipod is part of my life, haha)
so..
my ipod was nearly full when i added some more titles to my library. that was too much for my ipod nano (2 gb). it asked me whether i´d like to add just an selection (that itunes would automatically choose for me) to the ipod. i chose yes. itunes created a playing list (?) named "itunes auswahl" (itunes selection?) so far everything went well - all "old" titles plus some of the new ones were on my ipod. but that playing list blocked all my other ones (e.g. top 25, my favorites...) so i deleted the "ipod auswahl"-list. that was the big error, i guess. because after then, none of the titles (except 3 podcasts) existed on my ipod anymore (but in the library, phew!). what a shock. i tried to update my ipod, but it didn-t work - there´s always this message saying that the ipod can´t be updated because the playlist for that doesn´t exist anymore. then i keep on switching the options from "ausgewählte wiedergabelisten" (update only chosen playlists) to "alle titel und wiedergabelisten" (update everything). then i try to update it again, but then it says: "der ipod "ipod" kann nicht aktualisiert werden. dieser datenträger ist weder lesbar noch beschreibbar." (this ipod can´t be updated. this data medium is neither readably nor recordably.) so - what to do? i tried to put back the ipod, to install it new (i´ve got the newest version of itunes now), but nothing worked.
please help me really quick. would be so nice.
and please don´t look at my mistakes - i´m just a pupil from germany.

but it doesn´t work yet!! it´s the same problem. when i put the ipod in, in the music settings there´s the setting that it shall just sync the titles from selected playlists. but there isn´t any playlist ticked. so i tick the playlist "-ipod" which i created and try to sync it then. but then there´s always the message which says that the ipod isn´t recordably nor readably.
i think the problem is that my pc can´t remember the music settings because everytime it´s switched to what it was in the beginning. and after changing that the ipod can´t be synced (?) well you know what i mean i guess
sorry it´s really hard to explain but i hope you understand.

I dropped my ipod5 on a stone table (really hard) and the color (little part) came off! It's not a big problem but I just got it not long time ago. Can Apple repaire it? Will it be free? P.s. That part it's like 1mmX1mm not big, but I just want to know.

When you get your iPod repaired / replaced... do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks and but a case, like a Lifeproof or Griffin Survivor. Both cover the entire iPod and offer protection against drops and falls, weather, sand, dust, etc. and will at least minimize if not prevent damage to your iPod. Good luck.

There is no solution. You have to provide the ID and password. There is no way around it. If the person you bought it from can't provide it, return it and get your money back.

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6 older, hold down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
