Why can't I input text (from MS Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro PDFs, etc.) into/onto a certain page?

I have been having great difficulty inserting or inputting any sort of text or other information onto page 2 of an InDesign document. (So far, I have 13 pages on seven spreads, and the other pages have been fine.) Further information: Page 1 is one type of master ("A-Master" applied), while page 2 (and all pages following) are a different master ("A-Document Master" applied).... I used a second master for pages 2 and onward, as I wanted to import preferences from another document, to establish a relative degree of uniformity. I am a relatively new user of CS5.5, but haven't had any major problems thus far with everything else. My guess is that the text frames for page 2 are somehow embedded above the actual page, and this is affecting import abilities. However, I can't figure out how to change this. Any ideas?

Jongware: That seemed to work. There was an extremely small thread I couldn't see before--perhaps simply because I didn't magnify things--that I didn't catch. (This was left over from the original master creation process, when I imported things from another InD document.) I took care of the problem. Can you please tell me what version of Adobe Acrobat Pro is valid with my subscription?

I upgraded from Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium to CS6 Design and Web Premium. After the upgrade Adobe Acrobat Pro X stopped working. I downloaded and installed Adobe Acrobat Pro XI but only get a trial version and my CS6 Design and Web Premium Serial Number does not work.
Does anyone know?

Why can I not copy text from a file and paste into "File Name" when saving?

I thought I used to do this but I cannot copy a string of text from within AI (CS5, CS6 or CC) then "save as" and paste into the "file name" field. Why would this be?
This proceedure works fine in Photoshop.
Mac OSX 10.7.5.

I am copying the characters not the object. Something seems to have changed at the system level. I can paste the text to other applications (Skype, Word, etc.) but not the "Save" dialog. I have been pasting the text to a Skype message window and re-copying. Then it will paste into the save dialog. Weird.
I see you are on 10.6.8. Maybe it's a system difference.

Why can't I copy text from ibooks?

I have just downloaded Mavericks and I am looking into the desktop version of ibooks. It seems like I can copy text from free books but not from a book that I bought. It is the first and only book that I have bought on ibooks. I would like to start using ibooks for my studies, but it only really makes sense for me if I can copy text from the book and paste it in Word or Pages. Is this a common problem? And is there a way to solve it? The only thing that I have been able to work out myself is this: Select Text; choose "More" and "Search book"; pres "cmd" and "c".

Found a thread of someone making the opposite complain that text CAN be copied freely, must be an option for the publisher to decide.

Why can't I delete texts from my iPhone 4S?

I'm having issues deleting texts from my iPhone 4S. When I try to delete them, it freezes my messages. When I restart the phone, the texts that I attempted to delete, reappear. Is there any way to fix this? I'm not sure why this is doing this, but it's rather frustrating.

You would either need to use Acrobat to edit your letterhead PDF, or add the text in whatever application you used to create the letterhead in the first place, and then re-create the PDF. If you have the source file, then the latter may be easier.

Documents created on my iPhone or iPad go into iCloud with no problem and I can then access those documents from any of my "toys". However, documents created on my MacBook Pro do not go into iCloud, and as such, they are not accessable from my iPhone or iPad. How can I get the documents created on my MacBook Pro to go into the cloud?

Reset iCloud sync state
On Mac:
Close open applications
Open a Finder window
Choose “Go to Folder…” from the “Go” menu
Enter “~/Library/Application Support/”
Find the folder named “Ubiquity” and move it to the Trash

If you purchased it from the Adobe Store on the web then you need to contact Adobe. If you purchased it from another party on the web then you need to contact that third party vendor.

Why can't I copy text from these types of webpages (usually Korean blogs)?

I want to copy the text on Korean blogs, but I can't even select the text... or anything on the page (not even pictures). Anyone know a workaround for this? I'd really appreciate it!

These sites uses a script to (somehow) disable selection. To copy from these sites, you might need to disable JavaScript. There is an on/off button type extension that you can use to do that quickly/temporarily.

why can't I add text in the signature panel in firefox? I have adobe acrobat pro XI. I can open a pdf in acrobat pro and am able to add text to a pdf, but when I open a pdf in firefox, the "add text" option is not available.

When you install Acrobat XI you are also installing Reader for use in the browser. Reader is "sandboxed", or as it says in the Preferences, it is in "Protected Mode". Acrobat does not understand the concept of running in sandboxed memory (sandbox is a security feature to prevent the bad guy from exploiting a memory error and getting into a memory address where they can do damage to your computer) so to help protect Acrobat users the same way Reader users are protected we just install Reader along with Acrobat, but it is only used in the browser (part of this is because the bad guys use web sites as their primary method of distributing corrupted PDF files that can cause problems).
That said, because you are in Reader the file needs to be Reader Enabled prior to being posted to the web site (or opened in the browser). Once the file is Reader Enabled you should be able to add the text annotations.
