Why is the music so soft ? I have turn the volume to max

Why is my earphone so soft although I have turn the music volume to maximum

The 2006 MacBook has firewire. Use a cable like this. Boot the '06 with the T key held down until you see the Firewire icon. Connect the 400 port on the '06 to the 800 port on the i7. Run Migration Assistant. 400 GB will still take a long time, but it will be closer to 8 hours I think.

  • Why is the volume of my phone so low in calls ?

Why is the volume of my phone so low in calls ?

    Hey there Claudia,
It sounds like the audio from the receiver is low when you are talking on the phone. I found this article for you to help troubleshoot this issue named:
iPhone: Receiver and call audio quality issues
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5196
    Receiver
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Increase the volume during the call.
Make sure nothing is blocking the receiver. If you're using a protective case or display film, remove it and try again.
Make sure nothing is plugged into the headphone jack or the dock connector.
Check the receiver opening to see if it is clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush.
Try another location with better signal. If the audio issue happens only when on a call, it could be due to the location.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or a car kit, try turning off Bluetooth on your device. Learn more about troubleshooting Bluetooth connections.
    Restart the iPhone.
Make sure your device is up to date.
If the issue is not resolved after restoring the iPhone software, contact Apple Support.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,

  • Why is the sound low on my Ipod?  When I have my earbuds in I have to have the volume almost all the way up.  I have the volume limit maxed out also.  Same thing when I plug it into a boombox

Why does my Ipod play at a low volume?  When I have my earbuds in I have to have it at almost full volume, and when I plug it into a boombox it doesn't play as loud as the radio or a cd.  I have the volume limit turned all the way up in the settings also.  All my songs on my Ipod were burned from cd's(if that helps) thanks.

Sorry, I have the same issue.
So far searching threads here is not coming up with anything.
I have set aside my restore discs, to start the process of ripping the drive clean.
I tried Omni Sweep, but all it did was confirm the space I counted up.
Still does not show what's hidding. 113GB worth on mine.
That software really boggs down the system.
I could not load an email with it running.
    Good LUck as well.

  • Why is the volume changer button up so high on the new apple headphones?

On the newest Apple Headphones, I was wondering why the headphones volume changer button so high. It is difficult to try to change the volume when listening to music because i cant see the volume changer button.

I assume that you did not check before buying, if you had you would have seen that your Mac is too old for Airplay Mirroring to work:
    Supported Macs
AirPlay Mirroring in OS X Mountain Lion takes advantage of the hardware video encoding capabilities of 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core processors. Hardware video encoding allows AirPlay Mirroring to efficiently deliver high frame rates while maintaining optimal system performance. The following Mac models have processors that support AirPlay Mirroring:
    iMac (Mid 2011 or newer)
Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer)
MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer)
And if you bought ML solely for that function you should remove it from your machine and get a refund.

  • Why is the volume on my iphone 4s so low?

On calls i can barely hear people but music and siri is loud and just fine..the volume is turned all the way up for calls so what could be the problem?

I replaced my iPhone4 with another one and it was no better.  Later I replaced it with an iPhone5.  It was much improved. Why ?  I am not really sure, but when I got the iPhone5 either the speaker is better or the Plastic Cover is a little different.  I think the openings on my 5's plastic protector are larger and I made sure the plastic does not even come close to the earpiece.  My wife did not want my 4 because she could not hear well on it; so, I bought her a 5 also.  She likes the 5 and says she can hear better.   Improved earpiece ? - perhaps.  Plastic Screen protector not covering the earpiece - I am sure it is not, but it was not on the 4 either.  I think if you drop a phone it might jar the earpiece, but I have never taken one apart.  The Apple Store should know, but I took my 4 there and they only listened to it and said it was ok, but it was not.
I think the earpieces are marginal and the circuitry are marginal prior to a 5 or perhaps the earpieces were not all manfactured by the same vendor.  Either way you look at it, if you have a problem hearing on a $600 phone, take it back until you get a good one.

  • Why is the volume for iTunes occasionally lowering?

I notice that iTunes' volume seems to lower itself.
It will happen randomly and then I have to open up the volume mixer and bring iTunes' volume back up.
What is causing this?  At first I thought it was when I was plugging in USB devices because that's when it seems to happen most of the time... but there are occasions where it does it on its own for no reason that I can think of.  Today alone I had to bring the volume back up maybe 5 times while listening to some music during cleaning.
All other audio on my PC seems to work fine...
    Any one else experience this?

First check and make sure the volume in iTunes is up. At the top of iTunes where you see the play button, to the side of that is a slider bar, this is the volume make sure its slided all the way to the right. Next check your EQ setting. in the lower right corner of iTunes look for the lil button with the vertical slider bars, hit it and it will open the EQ setting, by default its on "Flat" you can change it to Rock,Dance, ect ect whichever sounds best to you while playing a song

  • Why has the volume control on my Mac suddenly stopped working?

Every time I push any one of the three volume buttons in the top right corner of the keyboard on my mac, I get this image:
    http://i47.tinypic.com/2ushmpk.png
And no matter how many times I push the buttons, the volume will not adjust and that circle with a line through it appears at the bottom. When I try to play music, there is no sound.
At the top right of my screen where there is usually a volume bar, there is now nothing. That bar has also disappeared.

  • Why does the volume on my MacBook Pro change on its own?

I just got my MacBook Pro and sometimes the volume goes up or down and usually when this happens iTunes opens up and starts playing randomly. Why does this happen!?

No. Have Apple fix this little problem before it becomes a bigger one.

  • Why does the volume spike when playing youtube videos? Even after i turned it down right before hand

Okay so this is becoming highly annoying and extremely worrisome since I value my ears more than any other sense.  I keep having this issue where i plug headphones in, turn the volume down to half way or lower, put headphones on, then go to start a youtube video to listen to a song, and then as soon as the video starts BOOM the volume goes up to full blast.  on several occasions now i am worried i have been close to hurting my ears, I am really starting to loose my mind over this.  WHAT IS GOING ON? I try to remember to keep the headphones out of my ears before playing the video, but there are too many times where i forget, or had switched to sommething else and then go back just to be blasted by volume.  Jesus Christ apple you are going to wreck peoples ears.
I have the ipad air.  I have whatever the latest software is

    Hello rwright8
If you are concerned about the volume going to high when watching and listening to videos, you can change the volume limit to not go that high. Go to Settings > Music > Volume Limit and set it to the desirable volume. If you are using the YouTube app from the App Store, try out the troubleshooting steps in the second article to troubleshoot the issue further.

  • Why is the volume so low, and won't get louder?

I'm trying to get more volume from the software "swirling keyboard" instrument, but it is way too soft no matter how high I raise it's volume. In the edit window, I can change the pitch, but the velocity slider is grayed out, and won't let me raise it. What can I do?

you can only get an answer to the question you ask. if the question is wrong (as in the other threads) you'll get the correct answer to that question ... which is wrong.
trust me, read the Getting Started bit, don't skim it. read all of it. then ask those other questions (in new threads. don't jump in on someone else's threads which have nothing to do with what you are asking. you'll read info that has nothing to do with your issue and get confused.)
so far the volume issue is solved, good luck with that.
    one down.

  • Why is the volume on my MacBook Pro suddenly so low?

The volume on my macbook pro is really low.  It used to be much better, now I can hardly hear people when on skype or listening to music... everything is set on high volume... help!?!

    Try:
Reboot into Safe Mode then reboot normally. Safe mode takes longer to boot than booting regularly. That is normal.
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu.  Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order.  If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time (>=70,) then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar.  Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.

  • Why is the volume so low on my iPad3

What is the volume so low on my iPad3?

They will never do any of the things you are requesting in my opinion. Apple doesn't care able what the customers want. They only care about what they think the customer wants. Look at iTunes. All music softwares are moving towards mp3tags except iTunes. It ***** because if I change my file name it no longer knows the file still exist. With mp3tags I would not care the name of the file. It would only care about the song title, artist, album..etc..It's still crap. Yet it's still being used by millions. I myself use it even though I hate it. It's all about numbers too with apple. How many device sold. Not how many happy customers. They will never allow SD cards since they would not be able to sell any device great than 16GB. No HDMI because they expect you to buy the $30 converter. No attachments because well they don't want to give access to the file system. No flash because html5 is the feature. App developers better get with it or apple would leave them behind :)...I think the multitasking is great.
Since the first iPod came out people been complaining about the ability to sync with multiple iTunes. Years later it still hasn't change but apple stocks only grows higher LOL :)

  • Why is the volume level different from song to song in iTunes & on iPod?

When I play back songs in iTunes and most of all on my iPod the volume level is different depending what songs I am listing to. The biggest problem is with the songs that I get from my CD’s because the volume is very low. Why does this happen and can I fix it? Thanks, Robert

iTunes uses a feature called "SoundCheck" to attempt to equalize playback volume. There are actually 3 Sound Checks: 1 is for iTunes playback (set in Preferences), 1 is for iTunes burning (set on the Burn Disc dialog), and 1 is for iPod playback (in iPod Settings).
Make sure they are all enabled.
They are far from perfect, but they should help.
