Why Task Instance Name is messed up?

I kicked off a customized task from console, the task was completed successfully, however, the task instance name displayed on page "Server Tasks ---> All Task" is messed up as following
TASK7F2DB676E49A6D04:-395D12E7:11989A5891E:-7F0F
What is the possible problem?
Have a good one

first define some variable:
<Variable name='taskName'>
      <invoke name='getName'>
               <invoke name='getDefinitionRef'>
                      <invoke name='getTask'>
                            <ref>WF_CONTEXT</ref>
                        </invoke>
                 </invoke>
        </invoke>
  </Variable>now you call rename task workflow application:
<Activity id='3' name='Rename Task' hidden='true'>
       <Variable name='newTaskName'/>
                <Action id='0' name='set task name'>
                    <expression>
                        <set name='newTaskName'>
                            <concat>
                                <ref>taskName</ref>
                                <s> </s>
                                <ref>WF_CASE_OWNER</ref>
                                <s> (</s>
                                <invoke name='format'>
                                    <new class='java.text.SimpleDateFormat'>
                                        <s>yyyyMMdd HH:mm:ss</s>
                                    </new>
                                    <new class='java.util.Date'/>
                                </invoke>
                                <s>)</s>
                            </concat>
                        </set>
              </expression>
    </Action>
    <Action id='1' process='Rename Task'>
            <Argument name='name'>
                        <ref>newTaskName</ref>
            </Argument>
            <Argument name='makeUnique' value='true'/>
    </Action>thats it.

  • Flash actions and instance names

    Hi, i'm after some advise on how to navigate around the timeline using buttons. I know this sounds simple but i'm running into some daft problems.
    I've added a single instance for a button called 'button' which appears on multiple keyframes. This button only appears once per keyframe but some of the actions are getting mixed up. I know that i can create multiple instances to get around this but in principle i cant see why having one action attached to one instance per keyframe would cause an issue regardless of that fact i have the same instance appear on multiple keyframes. Should flash be behaving like this?
    Andy

    Hi Ned, what i have is a layer called actions that hosts a number of actionscripts with a keyframe for each script. To save time i usually create the first frame using unique instance names and then i simply copy and paste them into subsequent keyframes. So each KEYFRAME has unique instances. I thought that by doing this i would save time by not having to re-name or reposition each instance that appears on my timeline -  this would take a long time not to mention the complications it would cause should i decide to shuffle a few frames about later on. For the majority of the time everything works just fine but occasionally the timeline will jump to somewhere totally unexpected. the problem is compounded by the fact that many of these buttons control video playback, so you can imagine the mess this is causing.
    If what i'm doing is bad practice then i'll happily do it the right way by naming each instance but i'm still struggling to see why actions are getting mixed up when they run on their own keyframe.

  • Why does iTunes make a mess out of my TV Shows library?

    I'm not really sure where to post this, as it doesn't seem like Apple pays much attention to the official Apple Support Forums, but I'll give it a go nontheless.
    The thing is, as most Apple TV owners I have to rely on iTunes for handling my media library in order to get it working towards my Apple TV (currently an Apple TV 3rd Generation, Rev A) which is perfectly fine. I find iTunes to be very well organised and owning several OS X systems, only using iOS devices and everything my music library already consists of only ALAC (Apple Lossless) music tracks and I like to keep all my audio books in M4B (AAC) simply because it’s much better organized this way. As long as all the metadata is done right one can’t really complain about how iTunes is doing things other than the Windows version being rather slow when you start filling it up with content, the OS X version is vastly superior in terms of performance and overall stability but I guess that is to be expected.
    I have absolutely no problems with my ALAC (Apple Lossless) music library, no matter how many tracks I add they are all there, with the correct metadata and everything. Same goes for my audio book library, the only ones being somewhat troublesome are those I’ve got in MP3 format instead of M4B (AAC) as they get automatically listed as music instead of audio books, but that’s fixed within a matter of seconds just marking them as audio book in iTunes metadata. My movie library, which used to consists of loads of self-ripped Blu-Rays encoded to MKV’s with either Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1 is now repacked into M4V / MP4 containing Dolby Digital 5.1 (AC-3) and with the help of metadata downloaded from IMDB they are all listed correctly with the correct metadata, so all is good and dandy.
    But when it comes to TV-Shows things starts to get messy. We are still talking about only M4V / MP4 files containing mostly Dolby Digital 5.1 (AC-3) audio tracks, and a few containing 2.0 AAC audio tracks. The problem is iTunes is making a complete mess out of things, no matter what I do.
    Some TV-shows are added and shown correctly in my iTunes library, others are just not working out at all! Take my six seasons of LOST for instance.
    I tried to redo the metadata on the first six episodes of season 06, but they just won’t show no matter what I do. The weirdest thing with these episodes is that when I manually play the M4V files using iTunes, iTunes recognise them as LOST Season 02 episodes and not Season 03 episodes. So LOST Season 03 - Episode 01 which is "01. A Tale of Two Cities" is shown as LOST Season 02 - Episode 10 which is "10. The 23rd Psalm". That's quite odd, which was the reason why I went ahead and rework the metadata of these episodes just to be sure.
    But still it won’t show in the iTunes library and when manually opening the M4V files with iTunes it still shown as being "10. The 23rd Psalm" instead of "01. A Tale of Two Cities". If I open the file with QuickTime Player, Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic Home Cinema they all list it as "01. A Tale of Two Cities" and not "10. The 23rd Psalm" as iTunes does. Watching the playback is making quite clear it's indeed playing back A Tale of Two Cities and not The 23rd Pslam episodes, even in iTunes.
    I have no clues why iTunes is making a mess out of the first six episodes of LOST Season 03, it really doesn't make much sense as there is nothing with the M4V files, their contains or their metadata that points towards iTunes recognising it as a LOST Season 2 episode at all.
    Just to confirm the metadata in iTunes I tried to remove the whole LOST series from my library and went ahead and added ONLY the first six episodes of Season 03 and nothing else. Then they are showing correctly, with the correct metadata for each and every episode.
    But upon adding the rest of the bunch they disappear and suddenly iTunes starts mixing the first six episodes of Season 03 as Season 02 episodes...
    As soon as I add any episode of LOST Season 02, 10-15 they seem to replace LOST Season 03, 1-6. So Season 03 is working perfectly, having all the right metadata and everything but as soon as I add LOST Season 02, Episode 10, LOST Season 03, Episode 01 starts playing as LOST Season 02, Episode 10 and then disappears from the library. Upon adding and playing back LOST Season 02, Episode 11 it replaces LOST Season 03, Episode 02 which then disappears from the library and this goes on for episode 10-15 of Season 02 which for some reason replaces episode 01-06 of Season 03.
    This isn’t isolated to only LOST, same goes for a few of my House M.D season whereas iTunes is starting make a mess of things mixing metadata of Season 3 with metadata of Season 4 for no obvious reason. This is quite frustrating as this renders my Apple TV quite useless when iTunes is not capable of handling my media library correctly.
    Several episodes are missing in quite a few of my various TV Shows as well, some requires me to manually open the M4V / MP4 while browsing my library for it to get listed as it’s not being added while adding the folder to my library.
    This has been going on ever since iTunes 10.X, and it’s behaving like this on all my system it being Windows 7, Windows 8, OS X Mountain Lion or OS X Mavericks. Surely something has to be done in order to solve this? There is nothing wrong with my M4V / MP4 files as I’ve re-ripped them, re-encoded them, re-done their metadata and everything without any luck and consider it only happens with various TV shows and not with my music, audio book nor my movie library I see nothing pointing at it being a problem with my content but rather iTunes making it all fuzzy for no apparent reason.

    Seems like I actually figured out what was going on.. When I re-do my MKV's into MP4 / M4V's applications like Subler, MKVtoMP4 and other toolkits are grabbing metadata from servers like IMDB.
    Upon retrieving metadata they also grab something called "XID" which is supposedly Apple's very own iTunes specific ID or serial if you like for each specific TV show available through the iTunes Store. This seems to be causing the problems with missing episodes and episodes starting to playback as a different episode from another season.
    I always wondered why House Season 04 - Episode 01 - "Alone" always got played back as House Season 03 - Episode 11 - "Words of Deeds". It was always the exact same mix-up each and every time. iTunes never seems to mix-up anything other than the same specific episodes each and every time, and all the missing episodes are always the same ones, from the same TV show, from the very same season. I always found that a bit strange as I would expect library mix-ups from iTunes to be somewhat random and not consistent like this.
    So I tried to simply tried something completely random, renaming House Season 04 - Episode 01 - "Alone" into "RARW Season 11 - Episode 42 - "Come at me bro"" and House Season 03 - Episode 11 - "Words of Deeds" into "TESTING Season 04 - Episode 05 - "Testing this"" and it will still do the same, now my randomly generated metadata of "RARW Season 11 - Episode 42 - "Come at me bro"" was played back as "TESTING Season 04 - Episode 05 - "Testing this"". So it clearly had nothing to do with whatever metadata I added to the video within iTunes, it would continuously mix-up the very same episode no matter what.
    So then I grab my toolkit to see what kind of information was garter from IMDB's database to see if I could spot anything weird going on? I didn't really see anything, but I noticed the XID with it's "Apple:vendor_id:2003-tt0367279" input, so even though these two episodes had different XIDs I tried to simply input my very own like "House Season 03" and "House Season 04" and then all of sudden everything worked out perfectly.
    I'm not entirely sure whos to blame here. As the XID was indeed different I see no reason why iTunes should confuse one for the other in the first place, perhaps there is something fuzzy with the iTunes database or something. I don't really care though, I see no value in having the "correct" XID as long as my iTunes library is showing and playing back everything correctly so now I have just went ahead and re-done ALL my XID's of every TV Show to have their very own for each season just to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.

  • How to find out the application server instance name?

    Hi,
    I installed an Oracle application server a long long while ago and completely forgot the things about the installation, including the name of the instance (I installed single instance, not cluster). Now I am trying to create a connection to the application server and I am prompted to fill in the instance name. Where in the installation can I find out the instance name?
    The version of the server as displayed when the server is started:
    $ ./oc4j -start
    Starting OC4J from /oraInventory/j2ee/home ...
    09/10/08 16:04:39 Oracle Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.3.2.0)  initializedThis 10.1.3.2.0 number is somewhat confusing. As I understand it, right now if you download a copy of the Application server from Oracle web site, the current version is 10.1.3.1.0.
    I am also reading the installation guide now and when looking at the server starting messages on the screen, I realize that installing the server in the oraInventory directory is not quite right. Does that interfere with the correct functioning of the server? I installed it but have never tried to use it until now.
    Many thanks for your help!

    Regarding the version numbers, this fourth digit refers to the Component-specific release number. The OAS documentation says this about it.
    "This digit identifies a release level specific to a component. Different components can have different numbers in this position depending upon, for example, component patch sets or interim releases."

    NewmanI think Oracle software should always be installed in a separate directory. I think it may also generate errors in its functioning but it will certainly create a whole lot confusion and mess in later administration and configurations.
    hope that helps!

  • Best practice for upgrading task definition without deleting task instances

    best practice for upgrading task definition in production system without deleting or terminating task instances
    If I try and update a task definition with task instances running I get the following error:
    Task definition 'My Task - Add User' may not be modified while there are active task instances
    Is there a best practice to handle this. I tried to force an update through the console but that didn't work. I tried editing the task from the debug page and got the same error.

    1) Rename the original task definition.
    2) Upload the new task definition with the original name.
    3) Later, after all the running tasks have timed out, delete the old definition.
    E.g., if your task definition is "myWorkflow":
    1) Rename "myWorkflow" to "myWorkflow-old-2009-07-28"
    2) Upload the new task definition as "myWorkflow".
    Existing tasks will stay linked to the original (renamed) workflow definition.
    New tasks will use the new definition.
    As the previous poster notes, depending on the changes you are making, letting the old task definitions stay active could have bad side-effects and might be better avoided.

  • Dynamic text in buttons : instance name goes "instanceX"

    Hi,
    Another weird one (for me at least !)
    I've added a dynamic text to a button and named it, say,
    myTxt.
    If I put this button on stage as a movieclip I can target
    text as
    :_level0.btn1.myTxt
    If I put the button on stage as the button it really is,
    debugger tells
    me text instance is now : _level0.btn1.instance1
    Why ?
    Thanks in advance.
    PJ

    because buttons aren't movieclips and don't have timelines.
    so you can't reference items on, what appears to be a button
    timeline, with normal dot notation.
    the only real mystery is why flash allows you to apply an
    instance name to an object on that button's pseudo timeline.

  • 7 good reasons, why artist=album name is not the solution for compilations

    Hi,
    in this forum everytime the compilations-problem is discussed, somebody comes up with the solution to fill the album-name into the artist name field and to set the song-title name to "Artist / Song-Title". This might help with the cover-flow issue but does have the following downsides:
    7 good reasons, why artist=album name is no alternative for compilations
    ========================================================================
    1) It messes up the artist search.
    2) Unability to turn the display of artists on compilations on or off on demand without changing all the tags
    3) The mp3 tags are not used in the standard way
    4) "Artist / Song-Title" as song-title name is often too long to display
    5) The album name appears twice in the song information display when the song is playing (as the artist name and as the album name)
    6) This is not consistent with how it works in iTunes
    7) People owning a lot of compilations are forced to do A LOT of manual changes only to "fix it" back when (hopefully soon) a new firmware fixing this issue arrives
    I already posted this as an answer in another thread but I thought it might be helpful to discuss this in an own thread. What do you think about the reasons? Can you add additional reasons?
    If Apple really left out the compilations-flag on purpose (see http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5401783#5401783) we might need some good arguments to bring it back in.
    Best regards, Jens

    Yes, I agree with your list. I also think it is inconceivable that Apple simply forgot to add the compilations feature. There obviously has to be a good reason for this. However, I haven't got a clue what that reason might be.

  • Why constructor's name is same as its class name?

    I would like to know why constructor's name is same as its class name.
    Any idea...

    It's because by means of the constructor, you can "construct" objects of the
    same class (by "same class" read "same properties") with values that will
    accomodate your needs for the work needed to be done.
    For example:
       MyColor redColor = new MyColor("RED");
       MyColor greenColor = new MyColor("GREEN");
       MyColor pinkColor = new MyColor("PINK");The class "MyColor" is unique in the JVM. However it has 3 instances, created by its constructor which, minimally, would look like:
        class MyColor{
             String theColor = null;
             //Constructor
             public MyColor(String whichColor){
                      theColor = whichColor;
       }With such a constructor, you're telling the JVM:
    "Load the class MyColor and create an instance of it with the given values for its properties".

  • The instance name of em instance

    I tried to install the OCS R2(9.0.4.1) into a Suse SLE 8 (United linux 1.0). The kernel hostname=infraocs.synervision.cc, kernel.domainname=synervision.cc. After finished install, the instance name in the em become infra.128.1.0.150, instead of infra.infraocs.synervision.cc. When I try to query the em status by issue the command 'emctl status', it prompt me 'Could not contact EMD at http://128.1810.....". I wonder why the installation capture the server IP instead of the hostname I set?? Is there any way to change it??

    WAs your host file setup correctly prior to the installation.

  • Listing objects and their instance names (of closed source SWF)

    I have an API for a flash player that I want to use, but it is closed source. I know I could try a decompiler but I need to see what it loads and what it's doing at runtime.
    I'd like to see the objects (and all their info) that it loads and has on stage along with thier instance names. I'd like to see what this SWF has/does so I can write my AS3 code accordingly... maybe add some additional event listeners.
    Is there any was to go about doing this? I know there's some AS3 commands to get this information but I dont know what they are. If you all could give me some hints at which commands would be useful that would be great.

    "I need to see what it loads"
    You can use Fiddles, Charles or Firebug to monitor traffic (what it loads).
    As for the rest of your question - good luck. Although it is possible to decompile swf of course, reverse engineering is an extremely complex time consuming task. In the majority of cases it is easier and faster to replicate functionality from scratch than to try to understand SWF's logic.
    Unless you know packages structure - there is no native way to figure out/access application domain.

  • Confusing with the Global Database Name and Instance Name

    Dear fellow DBA's and Experts,
    Good Day.
    We presently have an existing database registered (on V2 Exadata) with global database name as BIDEV.domainname.com. It has 4 instances viz., BIDEV1 and BIDEV2 which have the same service name as the instance name.
    Last week, on our new X4-2 Exadata, we tried to create a fresh database. While doing so, we entered the details as below in the installer:
    Global Database Name: BIDEV
    SID Prefix: BIDEV
    Service Name: BIDEV.
    Then upon the successful installation of the database, when we query
    1. (SELECT * FROM GLOBAL_NAME), it shows BIDEV as the global database name.
    2.
    SQL> sho parameter service
    NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
    service_names                        string      BIDEV1
    3. Sho parameter name gives the below details:
    SQL> sho parameter name;
    NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
    cell_offloadgroup_name               string
    db_file_name_convert                 string
    db_name                              string      BIDEV
    db_unique_name                       string      BIDEV
    global_names                         boolean     FALSE
    instance_name                        string      BIDEV_1
    lock_name_space                      string
    log_file_name_convert                string
    processor_group_name                 string
    service_names                        string      BIDEV1
    Curious to know why it created an instance name as BIDEV_1 instead as BIDEV1.
    Had tried another attempt on our test environment with SID prefix as BIDEV1, then the instance was created with the name as BIDEV1_1.
    Also, would like to know what happen if we give the Global Database Name as BIDEV.domainname.com for installing the same BIDEV database on a different server while the 1st server is still functional.
    Appreciate if someone could throw some light on the above confusion. Any reference material or source to the clarify the doubt.
    Warm Regards,
    Vikram.

    Hi Vikram,
    Your clustered database is not full RAC, it's RAC ONE node database. In RAC ONE node database, instance names are created in that format only (i.e.e dbname_1), I don't know if there is any way we can change it to dbname1. OR if you really want to change the instance name to dbname1 format, then you can convert RAC one node database to Full RAC, then remove instance and add another instance, I hope it would be added in dbname1 format. I have not tested it, test it on your test system first.
    You can find the database type in the output you shared,
    Type: RACOneNode

  • Instance Name Question

    I have a movieclip that is added to the stage in the authoring environment. I gave it an instance name of myInstance.
    When I trace the instance name, it gives me Instance12.
    Why is that? How can I change the instance name that dropTarget.name returns without removing all my instances from the stage, instantiating them with actionscript, and renaming them then (with 250 instances that have to be in exact pixel locations that would be a huge inconvience bordering on the impossible, especially if I ever have to move even one of them.)
    If the dropTarget is another movieclip assigned to a class, is there any way to use dropTarget to access a parameter from within that class? (i.e., dropTarget.myVariable the same way you might use myObject.myVariable)?
    Does that make sense?
    Thanks!!

    I tried this:
                trace (GeoPuzzle(this.dropTarget).abbrev);
    But I got this error:
    TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.display::Shape@d25c061 to com.freerangeeggheads.puzzleography.GeoPuzzle.
        at com.freerangeeggheads.puzzleography::GeoPiece/geoPieceEnd()[/Users/Amber/Documents/Apps/P uzzleography/Project/com/freerangeeggheads/puzzleography/GeoPiece.as:51]
    When I trace this.dropTarget.parent.name I get the actual instance name of the movie clip on the stage.
    Is there a tutorial or something that will explain this heirarchy to me? I don't even know what to google, and navigating Adobe's documenation is like trying to nail jello to a tree. :/

  • Flash CS5 instance name problems

    I can't give instance names in my AS2 project. When I click on the Instance Name box it is locked. I can only give instance names to the text objects. Movie clips and buttons are locekd. Please Help

    Hey guys,
    I struggled with this too.
    It seems if you make a reference to it in the action script it allows you to set an instance of that name (basically. why would you need to set a name if there is no reference to it in the action script)
    e.g add something like
    mc_myMovieClipName.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, myFunction);
    and you will be allowed to rename a new symbol of that name.
    (or change your existing references to your OLD movieclip name and you will be allowed to rename it)
    If there are 2 symbols on the stage and only 1 reference in the code. only 1 symbol will be allowed to be named and you will have to add...
    mc_myMovieClipName2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, myFunction2);
    to the code in order to name the second movieclip.
    Please let me know if this helps.

  • Change Instance Name

    Is it possible to change the name of an Middle-Tier Instance and/or the Infrastructure Instance after installation of 10gAS 904?
    Bob

    You have changed hostname(servername) you can follow below:
    you have to rename SQL server hostname:
    sp_dropserver <old_name\instancename>;
    GO
    sp_addserver <new_name\instancename>, local;
    GO
    Restart the SQL Server services.
    http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2525/steps-to-change-the-server-name-for-a-sql-server-machine/
    You cant change installed instance name of SQL, so SQL instance will be CON.
    Understand you may have CON as database but your instance name is also CON. Thats why you are seeing MSSQL$CON.
    CON was select as instance name when performing SQL installation.
    There is no command to rename an instance. You will need to install a new instance with name REX side by side, move the databases by whichever method you'd like (backup & restore would be fine) and drop the previous instance or have 2 instance running.
