Why would I loss a movie I rented order number mj429g3565 yet it was less than 30 days
I rented a movie in iTunes 8/27/20014 under order # MJ429G3565 and before the time was up for watching it stated it had timed out yet it still has not been 30 days ?

Because readers (often) don't finish downloading a folio. If they start downloading something else, lose network connectivity, etc. the download will stop.

How long do I have to watch a rented movie?
You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

Why was my free trial disabled after less than a day
Hi,
I set up an Azure trial yesterday afternoon, roughly 4pm GMT. I came into the office this morning, and found an e-mail from about 3:30am GMT, telling me my trial had been disabled due to reaching it's spending limits?
I did set up a VM yesterday, but didn't use it after it was provisioned, and I see I have 31 days left to use my current credit of £125 GBP.
Why would my account be disabled so quickly. How can I evaluate something in such a short period of time. Is there some way to contact Microsoft directly about this?

I have an iPod Touch 4G purchased on november 2010, and since then until two days ago, I had iOs 4.3.x and everything went very good about battery charge...I used to have my iPod on standby mode for several days, and never had a trouble with it...
but two days ago, I upgraded to iOs 5, and then and there, the troubles began...my battery lasts no more than a day, even on standby mode...
NO wifi on, NO bluetooth on, no movies watched, no games played, just using Virtuoso Piano free app for minutes...
is the new iOs 5 having trouble about managing battery?
anyone of you have same trouble?

thanks for your time people...Light to all of us...!!!Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight. Admittedly the labeling is hard to read but, if you use a magnifier and squint your eyes, you'll see "Output 5.1V, 2.1A." The symbol between volts and amps is the symbol for DC. Do NOT use an iPhone charger. Do NOT use an iPod charger. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the exact procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter..
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know whether or not a battery problem exists.
According to Apple:
Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge.
I'm not saying that you don't have a problem. However, I am saying that we don't know. -
I just rented my first movie on my apple tv from iTunes and it said it would be 3 hours before I can watch the movie. What the heck is up with that and why dose it take that long for a movie to start? I also have netflix and it starts instantly so why dose iTunes take 3 freaking hours I mean really how convenient is that. My wife and I decided to try an iTunes rental to watch a movie and then learn it will be 3 hours before we can watch it. This is again a **** poor thought out apple service that should at least inform you of this BEFORE you rent the movie not AFTER you pay for the darn thing. This will be the last time I rent from your stupid iTunes movie rental service because it *****.

A video driver that supports HDCP (you may need to check with the manufacturer to determine if your video driver supports HDCP)

I rented a movie teh other night and started the download. It was taking a while so I went to bed. In the morning there was an error message and the movie did not download. I did nothing as I figured I would just try agian another day. A few days later I received my receipt by email. I had been charged even though I never got access to the movie. I tried to access the download again, but can not figure out gow to download the movie agian without being chraged. PLease help.
You could try the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option. If that doesn't start it downloading then you will need to contact iTunes support (rentals are a one-time only download, so they will need to add it back into your queue).
Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film, click the arrow to the left of it and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

How do I move a 150GB iPhoto library out of a DMG on my external drive in less than a day?
Presently I have the 150 GB iPhoto Library in a DMG on External Drive (ED). I want to now move it out of the dmg into a folder from where it will be used.
It took about 2 hours to move DMG from Mac to ED via Ethernet cable.
I have iPhoto 09, MAC OS 10.6.8, 3TB WD My Cloud (ED).
Tried DMG as the copy kept failing 2-3 hours into it.
As I attempt to move the folder from DMG to another folder on the ED it is telling me 60+ hours.
When I created the DMG it estimated 2 hours and comleted in less.
Is there some specific manner or steps that need to be taken to quickly move this iPhoto library from DMG?
The DMG contains a single folder which shows the Iphoto LibraryThis copy is being done by the Finder and not iPhoto, so the best place to ask would be the Using Mac OS X forum for your version fo the OS. As a general comment: the FInder is hopeless at estimating the time a job will take and I know of no way to speed it up.

I am extremely surprised that on ordering an iPad2 last Thursday from the online store, and receiving it Friday (excellent delivery service nonetheless) I now find it is not iOS5 (after trying to buy, download and install Numbers). I have not yet upgraded to iOS5 on my iPods and iPhones due to issues experienced by friends so am reluctant to upgrade a brand new iPad after installing apps and content over the weekend.
I am assuming I should have been shipped an iOS5 version?however iOS5 has been available in the UK for ages.
6 weeks is far from "ages".
The iPad you received was eithe Ron the pipeline getting shipped or simply sitting on a shelf when iOS 5 was released to the manufacturing plant before it could have iOS 5 installed.
just wanted to get some help before the Customer Service phone lines open up during business hours!
You are planning on calling about iOS 5 not being installed?
If so, why not simply install it?

A reset may help. Push and hold the Home button and the Sleep/On/Off button at the same time for approximately 15 seconds (until the Apple logo appears). Ignore the slide to turn off indicator. Allow to restart as normal.

Why would I use Pages if I have to buy Endnote when Word will let me cite for free?
Since buying my first Mac, I am trying to switch to all Apple software. I have Office 365, but wanted to begin using Pages. However, the only way I have found to cite sources for my reseach papers is to purchase an Endnote program which is like $300. Why would I do that? In Word, I can create a Works Cited library and cite while I type the paper. It is included in Word. Pages is usless to me if I cannot cite sources. Am I missing something?
Word/Pages issue aside, your new MBA should NOT have difficulty connecting or staying connected to the Internet. If you have an opportunitiy, you should make a genius bar appointment if you have an Apple Retail store nearby to have them look at the MBA. If you have had the computer for less than 90 days, it still has phone support- Call applecare. If you Purchased Apple Care protection, you have phone support for 3 years. Use the resources.
I won't comment on software, but the MBA SHOULD reliably connect to a WiFi network (assuming the network isn't the issue).

Why do all my other Apple devices not care if the movie I rented from iTunes if it was downloaded directly to that device or not, but the stupid Apple TV won't allow you to play rented movies unless you rented it directly from the Apple TV?
Great, so now I have to airplay it by linking my computer to my Apple TV and then the movie has to buffer! So, all that time I spent downloading the HD video has to technically "download" again by buffering. The more I use Apple TV, the more I feel like this item was not created by Apple. I don't even use it for what I originally purchased it for. If I would have known that anytime I wanted to sync a movie from my computer to Apple TV by using airplay that it would have to buffer the movie, I would have never ever ever ever ever purchased this waste of time device. So the video has to technically play all the way through one time first so Apple TV can "remember" the movie to play it back in real time afterwards.
Am I missing something here? Am I doing something wrong that can be fixing my problem? I should have known that the Apple TV had so many things backwards when simple things like when you are using the remote and you reach the bottom of your list, in order to cycle back to the top of your list you have then press the directional buton back the other way rather than most modern day devices that will automatically cycle you back to the top or to the other side when you reached the bottom or end but keep on pressing the button. That **** annoys me when I am doing a search for a movie and have to type the name in manually and have to cycle back and forth to the letters. It makes me feel like I am using a rotary phone or something!I was told by someone to try and purchase something directly from my Apple TV and that will help authorize my Apple TV. So I picked something that was free and it downloaded.
Then I went back to the Movie that would not work and it played just fine.
So it seemed to work. I will have to try it on other movies and TV shows later.
