Will my USA apple TV work in Austria (using a power converter of course)? In other words, will I get USA Apple TV viewing selections?
Can I unplug my USA apple TV, take it to Austria and will it work in Austria (using a power converter of course)? In other words, will I get USA Apple TV viewing selections? Or, will it work at all?
The ATV is the same device worldwide.
Content is determined by the location where the ATV is physically connected.

Will my whole itunes library be transferred to my new computer with home sharing,in other words will I be able to use bothe computers at the same time ? And will I have two copies of my all my playlists?
Hi there J1750oe,
You may find the information in the article below helpful.
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4527
Transferring playlists
If you want not only your content but also your playlists to exist on your new computer, you will want to transfer a copy of all your playlists from your old computer. To do this, choose File > Library > Export Library on your old computer. Save the XML file that is created to your desktop.
Send the playlists file to yourself as an e-mail attachment, use an external drive, or use file sharing to move the playlists file to your new computer. Once the file is on your new computer, open iTunes and choose File > Library > Import Playlist. The import process will remove any items from the playlists that you didn't share via Home Sharing.

I recently started to get an error message "MobileMe Services have stopped working". I use Vista. If I remove the MobileMe program, will it affect syncing with my iPhone or with Google Calendar?
No, just uninstall the MobileMe control panel. All Mobileme services have been discontinued, so the control panel is not doing you any good being in there at present.

ive got the iphone 5s 4 weeks ago.today the screen turned blue and the phone turned off . i tried several times to turn it on but i doesnt work even by using the power and the home button. what should i do ?
Hi vanessato,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I recommend these troubleshooting steps if your iPhone does not turn on.
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
Best,

HI I WAS WONDERING IF THE NEW GARAGEBAND WOULD ERASE OR REPLACE MY CURRENT GARAGEBAND SOFTWARE, INVENTORY AND LOOPS, OR IS IT AN ADD ON TO MY CURRENT PLATFORM? IN OTHER WORDS WILL ANY THING CHANE WITH MY CURRENT GRAGEBAND SOFTWARE IF I MAKE THI UPDATE? THANKS - WP
What is your current GarageBand version?
Your profile signature says "OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)", but the newest GarageBand, version 10.0.2, requires Mavericks. Are you planning on upgrading from Mt. Lion to Mavericks?
The newest GarageBand 10.0.2 is very different from the earlier GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5.
Some features, like podcasts, are missing. The GUI layout is more like Logic than GarageBand, the effects can no longer be combined freely, but you have to use the predefined patches. But this version adds nice new features like Drummers or Arpeggiators. and not all of your audio units may be compatible.
If you upgrade to GarageBand 10.0, the new version can open your older projects, no problem. But once opened in GB 10.0, they will no longer work in GB '11.
The installer will not overwrite GB '11, but move it to a subfolder in Applications, and you can use both versions cuncurrently. They do not interfere and you can use GB '11 as before.

On the iPhone, if you move an e-mail from the In box to Junk, will iPhone automatically place future e-mails from the same sender into Junk? In other words, can you teach iPhone to filter out Junk as you do on a Mac?
I don't think so, you would need to set that on your browser when you log into your email account.

In other words, will it still be able to handle high powered engineering programs in 4 years? It's i7, quad core, 2.7GHZ boost up to 3.7GHZ,16 GB RAM, and 768 flash SSD.
Will it be considered a lower powered or mid powered machine in 4 years relative to the new laptops around it?
I feel like fully specking it helps me be a little future proof.
Is 6 years too ambitious to hope for that this machine will still be able to handle powerful programs?
I spent $3000 so in 4 years I hope it will still be relativley fast.Nobody can predict what programs might need in the future. And, nobody can predict where computers will head 3-4 years from now. Power (meaning energy consumption) is becoming as important as speed (if not more so). Purchase what you need now with a bit of headroom and expect that you might need to replace in 3 years (that's the reason large companies lease computers instead of purchasing them).
It also depends on what you mean by "high powered engineering programs". It could mean that you don't have enough memory for newer applications and will constantly be swapping to disk. This could either prevent you from using the SW or will significantly slow things down.
It could also mean that the computations become more complex and need a faster cpu (this is a lower risk and simply means that your computer won't be quite as fast as your buddy's).
It could mean that the OS you have today is obsolete and no longer supported for these applications.
Don't worry about 4 years down the road. Nobody (and I mean nobody) can predict even 1 year out. Look at how many times companies delay product introductions, or provide "guidance" to analysts. -
ITunes Home Sharing with Apple TV2, works with one Win 7 PC but not with the other
Hopefully someone out there can help with this, I have gone through all of the troubleshooting procedures that Apple provides, and have spoke to thier 'fast track' technical services department and we cannot resolve this.
My probelm is that Apple TV does not recognize my Win7 PC that has itunes running in Home Sharing mode. In order to test my router, network configurationand the Apple TV, I put iTunes on a laptop on my network running Win7 as well, and the Apple TV had no problems sharing with that computer. I have opened all of the ports in my firewall that Apple recommended, and tried to make it work both with and without my anti-virus software, but still no sharing of iTunes with this computer. We are working with the latest version of iTunes and Apple TV, both updated today.
Has anyone run into this problem?
Thanks
S McDYep - have had the same problem, especially since IOS5 came about and no solution has worked. I've fought this one for a while, I come back to it every once in a while when I see something that might be a new tack but no joy. I've also tried all that stuff, but none of them fix it.
I can tell you a couple of things I have found out along the way:
First off, there is some kind of issue with the Apple Mobile Service that causes it to not stay working. If you stop the service and start it you may be able to make the sharing show up for a bit, but it will eventually disappear.
Secondly, there may be a network routing factor to this too. Apple doesn't like to use the same kind of protocols as many sharing schemes do, instead preferring something known as "Bonjour". Bonjour uses multicast routing, and appears to either be programmed badly or in a non-standard way - or maybe there just is no standard. In any case what you find is that it just doesn't work, and there is no current fix.
Keep trying though, maybe you can figure it out. If you do, please come back and post what you did, I'd be very interested. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but I can at least tell you that you're not crazy, there are others out there having the same problem with the same bleak outlook. By the way, mine used to work until iOS5. -
Will iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen work with 1st Gen USB Power Adapter?
Hi.
I have the iPod USB Power Adapter (M9837ZM/A) and was wondering if it will also work with the iPod shuffle 2nd Gen?
Mine only lists the original shuffle (naturally) and I just realized that Apple apparently re-designed the USB Power Adapter (MB051LL/A), which does list the 2nd Gen shuffle (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=E82 45892&nplm=MB051LL/A).
Does anyone know if I can use my power adapter with my new 2nd Gen shuffle?
Thanks! Will I be still pleasantly surprised when my iPod is fried?
So, what you're saying is, that whatever happens, it cannot do harm to the iPod?
If that's so, i'll give it a try. -
If i buy a used Mac Mini that can only run 10.6.8, will I immediately run into issues related to apps that are no longer supported on an older OS? I don't want to experience the same thing that happened with PPCs and 10.8.5.
ThanksI run an older Flash version, mind you one that is hacked slightly. I only view perhaps 15 min. of Youtube per week so I don't have a huge sample but I haven't encountered any real issues with my older version. Sure, YouTube warns me about using an older version but it seems to work. What doesn't work is my computer speed. No, not so much that but if I view a video in my browser it does not play smoothly. It works fine if I download it to my computer and then view it with VLC or Niceplayer outside the browser. When viewing things on YouTube I let them play in the browser, then if it's somethign I really, really want to see in nice presentation I download it and play it outside the browser. This all works even on my pretty old G4.
Flash player 11.1 hack on PowerPC - https://discussions.apple.com/message/16990862 - this gets FP to tell web sites you are running a newer version than you really are. This gets around web sites that don't really need a new version but think they know best. If they really do require it then this hack doesn't work. -
I changed my apple id because my email has changed. I've updated everything I can think of on my iPhone. I've logged out and back in and I still get a " your apple id has been disabled" message every time I try to update my apps. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure there's an easy solution but I've tried all the tutorials on apple.com and nothing works. Can anyone help?
When you say you have changed your Apple ID, how did you change it? Did you maintain your existing Apple ID via Manage your Apple ID and EDIT it to a new email address, or did you set up a brand new Apple ID?
Cheers,

I installed Lion a few days ago, ever since then my audio won't work, unless I use my headphones. Also, the saver screen with password changes frequently, and the space bar works when it wants to. There are many other issues I am having. My IPhoto,,does not work properly, pages is not working, I have all versions. The Office Suite is acting strange, and my email accounts work when they want,,,my IPhone 4 won't sync anymore. The list is endless...does anyone else have this problem?
Your wifi problem sounds very much like the problem I had. The wifi would drop out, the icon showed it was still connected. If I turned it off, I couldn't turn it back on. Another user here pointed me to the problem, which was the wifi cable (the flat cable goint from the card to the motherboard). I found it on ebay for $13 and it's been running fine since I replaced it. This is the repair guide for your machine. The part number will be on there if you click the link.

Can anyone help me with this issue? I try to convert an open PDF to WoRD. When I am asked to sign into my account I get an error message that says I cannot sign in due to a Network Problem.

A little more cumbersome but going to the AdobeAcrobat.com works.
Thanks for the help.
Have a great day.

Really frustrating. I have tried to pair 2 different remotes to see if that was the problem, but still can't toggle but up or down........ help!!
Have you restarted the AppleTV?
I have several white remotes for ATV1's and a couple have 'sticky' up buttons that require a harder press (one of these was chucked in the sunk a few years ago by my daughter), so I'm not convinced of their longevity as much as I prefer them ergonomically over the new silver ones.
Odd for two to be exhibiting the same issue which which is why I suggest restarting. If you had a low battery you'd probably be getting an onscreen warning icon. -
Will I loose ios6 after a hard reset on iTunes ? Will it force me to upgrade to ios7?
If you need to restore your iPhone to get past a forgotten screenlock password or to complete an unlock from a cell carrier, then yes, you'll be forced to upgrade to iOS 7. A restore will always download and install the most recent version of iOS your device will support.
Regards.
