Will the HP M602n printer support non-volatile memory or hard disk?

We would like to know if the M602n supports a non-volatile memory device of some sort; like a flash DIMM. We do not want a hard drive. Currently we use an HP 4050n printer with the flash DIMM and are looking to replace the printer.
We print checks with the 4050 and need to have the same type of platform. We will use either WebJet Admin 8.1 or get the new version 10.3 only if 10.3 can allow us to specify where to store the macros and fonts.
We understand that the memory device may or may not be a flash DIMM but it needs to serve the same purpose.
What would you suggest?
Can you point us to any documentation on the M602n that would describe the use and installation of such a device?
Finally, if the M602n will not do what we need can you recommend a different model?

The best place to research your answers would be on the m602n product page for this printer. There are several documents that may answer your specific questions. For example, there is a paper on Secure Volalite Storage, features, specifications. Look under discover and use your product.
For the hard drive questions, this is from the hp.com shopping page:
Memory, standard:
512 MB Memory, maximum: 1 GB Hard disk:
None

Will the new 2012 iMac support 2 hard drives (HDD and SSD) like the 2011 iMac?

Well, I'm not sure how anything can fit into a 5 mm depth, so I can see why they've removed the CD drive -  there probably wouldn't be enough room for the laser, LOL. Can't imagine speakers, hard drive (of any flavor), logic board and so on and so forth. Fortunately, my iMac has Applecare through early 2015 so I'm set for a while; I may check out a Mini at that point - saw that it is configurable with a fusion drive, which would make it interesting for me.

  • Will the NB305-N410 netbook support a full version of Window 7 (64-bit)?

I bought a Toshiba NB305-N410BL netbook a couple of days ago and I am wanting to upgrade the OS to a full version of Windows 7. I am looking at going to Windows 7 Professional (maybe Windows 7 Home) instead of the Windows 7 Starter that it came with but I am wondering if this netbook will support a 64-bit version of Windows 7. I have searched for the specs of this netbook to see what it would support but have had no luck although I am starting to think that it will only support a 32-bit OS. I am not looking to upgrade from the Starter version but doing a clean install of the full version of Windows 7 Professional. Any help or advice on the subject would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: I am also having a problem creating a system image. I want to have an image for backup just in case something goes wrong down the line. I first tried to use my external hard drive to create the image but it gave me the error message that "this device cannot be used to store a system image because it is not formatted with NTFS". So I decided that instead of reformatting my whole external hard drive, I would just try a usb flash drive. So I went and bought a 16GB usb drive and spent the last hour reformatting it to NTFS and I am still getting this error message: "The Drive is not a valid backup location." Does anyone know how I can use this usb drive to hold a backup image of my netbook's current state?
ANOTHER EDIT: Nevermind on the question about creating a system image on the usb drive. I just found out that you can't. :/

I successfully installed a 32-bit version of Windows 7 Home on my netbook but now I have a couple more issues that maybe you can help me with.
    - My scroll pad is no longer working. It was working just find right before I installed the full version of windows 7 but now it won't work. I really rely on the scroll pad for fast and efficient scrolling so I would really like to fix the problem.
    - 2nd problem: Is there any way I can change the resolution from 800x600? When I go to the control panel to adjust the resolution it won't give me any other options. Is the 800x600 resolution the only resolution my graphics card will support?
Thanks for any help in advance.

  • Will the 865 neo2 fisr support the Prescott processor?

Hi there, I heard that intel has upped their power requirements for the Prescott and that many of the boards that advertised support for this processor are now unable to work with it. Do you guys know if the 865pe neo2 fisr will still support the prescott with these updated power requirements?

hi, i have been onto intel about these issues, and as far as i can make out, the prescott processor will be marketed at top end users such as 875p chipset boards and 865 chipset boards and these boards are intended to stay at the high end users product line untill atleast the last quarter of 2004.
any lateness of these chips is due to ati's early arrival of their 64k chipsets and the first prescott chipset is said to be released onto the market in the first quater of 2004 and the processor speed is expected to be 3.4 gig, and to reach 4 gig at the end of 2004.
other than this, their is much excitement about this chip which has a higher L2 cache, and as far as i could see, no concerns about voltage due to the new arrival of HT2 technology which is supposedly a more stable and effective son of HT technology.
as of all this, the p4 extreme chip which has a L3 cache of 1 meg( i think) is out there and will run ta stock levels at 3.6 gig.. for £600 a bit much, but these are rumoured to be able to o/c to 4.5 gig and beyond....

  • Will the 340 wireless bridge support Leap

Will the 340 point to point wireless bridge authenicate and use Leap if upgraded to the latest software, like the 350 series bridges? The documentation is not clear on this.

    NO,
They run a different operating system and were end of lifed before LEAP.
The documentation is a little vauge on this topic if you are not familar with all of the product range, but what youare looking in the documentation for is.
To run LEAP you will see you need newer than 11.0 firmware.
    The BR340's firmware is 8.x

  • Instructions on the Apple site to do this but it didn't work. How do I revert back to the original set up? All files still on local hard disk

I moved the itunes folder to an external hard drive but it didn't work, so I want to revert back to original set up. All the files are still on the local hard disk. I have tried to reverse the steps I used previously but when I try to play a track it says original file could not be found. If I navigate to the itunes music folder and select a track direct from there it opens itunes and plays so I know the music is still on the computer I just can't figure out how to get it to play direct from itunes.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Supported way to migrate to larger hard disk

I am a happy, no exctatic owner of a Macbook Pro 15 inch 2.6, purchased in December 2012.
The 750 GB hard disk is a bit tight.
So I'm looking at getting a 1.5 TB drive and migrating to it.
I don't want to lose my restore partion or anything else I've already done.
How should I go about it?
    I have thought of using:
    Carbon Copy for Mac
    Clonezilla
Booting a Live CD Linux and using dd
Anyone done what I'm trying to do?
    Configuration:
Main boot is Mac with refit add in to manage boots.
    200 MB for Mac boot
    200 MB for bootcamp Windows
The rest of the drive is allocated for Centos 6.4 I use grub as the boot manager for centos and windows.
    Hope this is enough.

    Mine looks exactly like yours.
What I'm hoping to clone is the entire hard disk.
I've followed CCC guidelines and set up a recovery partition and copied the Mac OS parition.
I was hoping to copy bootcamp and centos across as well, but so far no luck.
Though I know bootcamp and the centos stuff are accessible in other ways.
I could just as easily boot centos and use dd to do the job here. Partition up the new disk before hand using the apple disk tool and dd parition by parition using centos. Seems like an awful lot of work though.
Since Mac OS is open source based, I assume I could do this job with dd running under the main OS. Problem there is fdisk works a little differently.
I know i can if successfully clone non Mac paritions either before or after the disk switch. I'm a Unix/Linux geek after all.
Thanks for all the good input.

  • How the Performance data depends on Number of CPU/ RAM size/ Hard Disk size

    Hi,
I have started Performance testing (web test and Load tests) using VSTS 2012. I was analysing the VSTS results summary page.
I could not find a way by which we can find a co-relation between the Performance Result data Impacted by Server's Configuration such as
    1- # of CPUs /Cores
    2- RAM size
    3- Hard Disk capacity
Could you help me out if we can reach to a point, through which we can say that, For eg - the Server Performance can be improved if we increase any of the dependent hardware configuration and Also, How the Hardware configuration impacts the Performance.
    Thanks.
    Thanks, Anoop Singh

The results show the performance with the hardware and software configuration
when the test is run. The results may show that some parts of the configuration are lightly loaded (and hence have plenty of spare capacity) whereas other parts are heavily loaded (and hence may be limiting the system performance).
To see the effect of changing the hardware or software configuration would need running exactly the same test with that changed configuration. Then the results of the two (or more) different runs can be compared. Microsoft has some details on how
to compare load test results. See
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd728091(v=vs.120).aspx
