I was wondering, How come the status DLV.
If the total quantity is  equal to delivered then only the status is set to DLV
Expected yield variance only comes  because,
You are confirmed the operation 1682
BUt you have done the GR only for 1610,600
That the reason the expected yield variance is 71,400
Check in COGI, any unprocessed goods movement is there are not
If the actual prdn is 1682, then post the GR for 71,400
Also
check the Value of The Posting For 261
and for 101  movement
Check the value of 101 movement -  value of 261 movement, it will come in minus

  • WIP&Settlement Process order

    Hi,
We calculate WIP weekly basis and WIP used to credited to a Balance sheet acct and DR to a P&L acct (which is generally NOT a Cost Element )
    Here our Doubt,
WIP was calculating irrespective of Settlement that is we used to see the Doucument (DR and CR ).and can be verified to FS10N,but now some thing went wrong (I checked OKGA and OKG8 they have proper BS and P&L accts) and after calculating WIP the documents are not posted and FS10N shows nothing for that BS and P&L acct.
1)Can we calculate WIP without settling order (DLV or TECO) and get  FI documnet posted ? which we used to get I believe,
    2) what is wrong with our system where we got FI documnets for WIP previously and not getting Now even though we have same BS and P&l accounts in OKG8 ?
    your help greatly appreciated,
    Regards,
    Nikitha

    Thank you Suryanaraya,
YES we calculate WIP on weekly Basis, But Financial statement analysis on Monthly Basis,
Your answer is convincing, But My user is adamant  (in fact he shows the previous documnets posted for WIP) . so can you clarify, for example I calculated WIP (Lets say ,for this month) 2/11,2/14,2/21,2/28 ;;;;;; and , -$100,-$80,-$60,$40  for my Balance sheet  ,Respectively , which shows $0.00 for that Process order as WIP, and we are done totally at the month end  ,so you mean to say I will get 4 documents on Month end (Feb 28) as Document Date 2/11,2/14,2/21,2/28 and Posting Date 2/28 for all 4 when I run Settlement?
OR can I do weekly WIP and Settle order ? to see WIP documnets?
    Please clarify,
    Excuse my ignorance,

  • WIP status (RESA) not updated for process order with co-product

    Hi,
We are facing the scenario below, please confirm whether item 2 behaviour is standard SAP.
    1. Process order with settlement rule MAT - after WIP calculated, status RESA is updated & FI document it posted.
    2. Process order with settlement rule OIT (co-product) - after WIP calculated, status RESA not updated & FI document posted.

  • WIP process order on transaction KKAO

    Hi Gurus
I have a process order in WIP on transaction KKAO.
When i run KKAO i have a positive value on columns  WIP(Cumul) and WIP(Period ) ,two values are equals.
I don't know what is the problem, other similar process orders have value zero on column WIP(Cumul) and WIP(Period )
    Can you help me ?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards

    Hi
OK, now I got your intention... Here is the answer
WIP *** means Total WIP over all the periods...
WIP Per means current period WIP
    WIP (***) - WIP (Per)
100 - 100 (This happens in 1st month i.e. when WIP is generatedfor the 1st time on a Prod order)
200 - 100 (this means 100 is added in 2nd month to WIP and Total WIP is 200)
0 - (-200) - This means Order is now complete and WIP is reversed in current period.. Hence total WIP is zero)
0 - 0 (This means Order has no values posted on to it and/or there is no WIP on that order)
    Hope this helps

  • Open Process Orders take-over when going-live

    Hello PP People
Does anyone have any experience/recommendation about the transition/take-over of open process orders from a legacy system to SAP when going live ?
These process orders are started in the legacy system and should arrive in a partially confirmed (hours/consumptions) status in the SAP system at go-live. How is this generally tackled from a CO point of view ?
Any hints on this could be helpfull
    Thanks and best regards

    Hi,
The method adopted depends on the business requirements. There are quite many options which can be adopted. So first thing i would say is get a clear business requirement what business expects from this migration.
Some of the options could be
    1. Close all orders in the legacy system & create new orders in the SAP system & post back the confirmations, post goods movement as per the legacy system.
    2. Create a material per order carrying the cost (WIP value) as per the legacy system, assign this component in the component list & post this mateiral to the order, thereby the WIP vlaue will be acrrued to the order.
    3. Ask your FI-CO personnel to post the WIP value to the order from FI side.
There could be many more approaches, the choice depends purely on business needs. Hope the above gave you some guideline.

  • Final Delivery indicator in Goods Receipt tab in Process Order

    Hello Friends,
I have one doubt, thought to discuss with you.Whats the importance of Final delivery indicator in Process order.I know that if any further goods receipt is not accepted against the order than we should tick this indicator, because of which system sets the DLV status at order header level or if goods receipt qty against the order is equal to order qty than system automatically sets this indicator.
when we do the settlement of order than system looks either for TECO or DLV status of order , if its find  there than system consider such orders for settlement.
Now my question is suppose i have done the Goods Receipt against the order less than the order qty, than system will set the PDLV Status against that order. Now no further goods receipt is  expected against that order. Now i haven't set the Final delivery indicator in goods receipt tab in process order. But i have technically completed the order, because of which system has set the TECO status against that order.
Will system allow me to settle such order?and viceversa, if order has DLV status at header level and no TECO status, than system will allow to settle such order? If yes than whats the other use of Final Delivery indicator in process order? Is it important to set that indicator from settlement point of view only?
As far as i know, system allows us to do,but on this issue i have got different answers from different person. So bit confused.

    Dear,

    Yes
If yes than whats the other use of Final Delivery indicator in process order? Is it important to set that indicator from settlement point of view only?
You need to Final confirm (CNF) the Order to get the DLV Status.
Or if the Delivery completed indicator is set in the Process Order, then also th System status will be DLV
If your order quantity10 and you produced 10 quantity it means that order is fully deliver  then Final delivery will automatically be set.
The "delivery completed" indicator has the following effects:
o The item is regarded as closed, even if the total quantity was not delivered.
o A further delivery is not expected, may, however, arrive.
If status is DLV then it cannot be a WIP stage where the the good are posted to stock and production is completed

  • Product Costing - Process Order Confirmation

    Dear Experts,
We are facing a situation with our Product Costing Scenario :
Under SFG Process Order Confirmation, there are Ten Phases to finally confirm the order. First Phase is for Raw Material Issuance. From Second Phase to Ninth Phase are relevant to Activity Types. Tenth Phase which is final phase, in this point Goods Receipt posting is generated.
At first phase, system posts Raw Materials Goods Issue (Movt Type 261) to Process Order:
Entry : RM (Cr), Consumption (Dr).
Client needs the system to post one more entry at the same time by : WIP (Dr), Inv Change (Cr).
    Reason:
According to client, they have made consumption entry in finance but what if all raw materials are not consumed as yet and factory comes under fire, then how can they claim insurance on those Raw Materials which are not consumed and are still in the IN PROCESSING Stage?
    My Answer was:
    - They can find all material costs in Process Order as Debit Item.
    - They can also calculate WIP but cannot post WIP in Finance unless the order is settled.
Ultimately, as per my knowledge client cannot check the unprocessed Raw Materials report in FI but they can check in CO. And this is the point of reservation from client.
They need an entry in Finance for WIP to claim insurance in case of fire and therefore they need a posting of  WIP entry immediately after Goods Issue of Raw Materials to Order.
Can anyone please guide me further regarding this scenario and if any one can suggest any work around then it would be highly appreciated!
    Regards,
    Zain Bashir

    Hi Zain
This is a very unusual question
Buddy, there is something in accounting called as "Going Concern Concept" which we all were taught in our accounting days.. That means when you do business, do it with a mindset that you are goinig to do it for long / for ever.. Accidents dont happen every day and you cant build a system around such things
Assume there is a fire (God forbid).. After the accident, you wont even know how much was  lying there unconsumed which got gutted in the fire..
And insurances not just covers the stock lying consumed, but also stock manufactured and stock in the process of manufacturing (WIP)
And most importantly, dont expect SAP to throw up a figure at the click of a button.. Does your client really think that they will simply submit the report generated from SAP as-is to Insurance people?? SAP is just a technology enablement, which requires human intervention at various places
My opinion - Dont build system for such requirements

  • Long Text problem in Process order header

    Hi All,
I am using SAVE_TEXT FM to update the header long text in process order.
    Also, I am updating the field AUFK-LTEXT = 'E'.
But when i display the order and click on long text, it does not display any thing as the text is not saved.
When I update the text directly in the order using COR2, it gets saved.
Does anyone know why the text is not being saved through FM SAVE_TEXT?
Also tried COMMIT WORK but was not successful.
The paramters I am passing to the FM are
    TDOBJECT = 'AUFK'
    TDID     = 'KOPF'
    TDSPRAS  = SY-LANGU
TDNAME = sy-mandt+order number with leading zeros.
and the text lines in internal table.
Am I missing anything else here?
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,
First check table STXH for the order which you saved manually, in order to verify that the values you are passing to the FM SAVE_TEXT are correct.
Also check the documentation which is supplied with this function to determine the INSERT and SAVEMODE_DIRECT values.
Also maybe check function COMMIT_TEXT and its documentation.
    Regards,
    Robert
PS. also test the scenario in which text s/b added to already existing text. The SAVE_TEXT function wipes out everything and therefore you first should read the existing text (READ_TEXT) to retrieve the current text and save this together with the new text using SAVE_TEXT. (check function group STXD for possible related functions to use).
PPS. Thinking about my comments under PS., I recall now that this was the symptom of the long text passed on through BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE and therefore maybe this is not the case for SAVE_TEXT.

  • Change material code in process order or delete process order

    Hi experts,
While creating a process order in COR1 transaction code, wrong material code was entered.
Can we change the material code in process order.  If not, what is the complete procedure to cancel or delete the process order.
    Request you to revert.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Farha.

    Dear ,
One the Process Order has been created with any material either it is wrong code or correct code , it can not be deleted .If it wrong code , then do not  perfom goods Issue -MIGO-261 or through Backflash  and also operation confirmation etc .
If Goods Issue , Confirmation happend then you need to reverse those txn once again .
In that case the best oiption will be goto COR2-Enter the Process Order -Select Process Order from Header -Restrict Processing -Choose Technically Complete .
Now , once you did TECO , then there will not be any farther txanationl posting like Goods Issue , confirmation will not be possible .Likewise , you can also Lock or make set CLOSE  from COR2 in case there is no WIP , Variance .
    Hope this is clear

    Diagnosis
The balance on object ORD 10009314 is not zero. That is, there are still costs on the object.
    System Response
The object cannot be closed and the deletion flag must not be set.
    Procedure
Settle the object before you close it or set the deletion flag.

    Data transfer to HR
    System Response
You are not meant to set the deletion flag/'completed' status for orders with future change records that have not been processed.
    Procedure
You should process the open future change records using

  • Settlement of the month end process order KKS1 & C088

    Hello all ,
we are trying to settle the variance & upadte WIP for the month end but facing some  problems.
When try to Run KKS1 getting the errors for some ordera as
Only remaining var. in version 0 - no target costs for 000001003928.
Should we just ignore these errors & proceed with the settlement which is using Txn CO88.
Also if I run the CO88,I  hope it just updates the WIP account so whether there is any high risk of running this transaction.
Any documentaion on CO88 will be helpful  & also if you can explain what is reasons for  the errors on KKS1 then it will be quite helpful .
    Thanks,
    AG

    Hello All ,
One more question . I have done the variance calculation for my process order via KKS2 but when I run CO88 it does not settle this order . Not sure what is the criteria for order not considered for the settlement.
Order already has the delivered & Techoed status.
    Thanks,

  • Incomplete Process order settlement at Month end.

We have issue with order settlement during the month end. We have process orders that run over the week (thus will run over the month-end), with REL, PCNF, and PDLV status at the month end. Production does not want to close/ TECO those orders, as we are not yet done. But FI wants to settle them for the month end.
    1) Can FI settle those REL work orders, as mentioned before?
    This is what I found:
    2) The standard practice is TECO, is to set before closing the order.
    3) You can only perform (business) closing for a process order if (CLSD):
The order has status Released (REL), Control recipe created (CRCR) or Control recipe discarded (CRAB), or Technically completed (TECO). To have status Technically completed, the order must have already reached status Released.
    The order balance is 0.
There are no more open purchase requisitions, orders, or commitments for it.
All data related to the process order is available and correct (For example, the inspection lots for the order must be completed).
There are no future change records from the confirmation processes
    2) So, if statement 1) is correct, is this correct lifeycle:
    A.     Settlement at month end for all orders with REL status.
    B.      TECO after settlement, and also after DLV and CNF status.
    C.      Close after TECO.
Upload in your comments, if there is any link.
    Thanks, points will be rewarded.

    Hi Abi,
Since the Process order is in uncompleted stage and partially delivered to stock, still it has WIP to be delivered to stock.
Calculate the WIP value & settle the order in Month end.
Prerequisite for WIP calculation is order should has REL status.
In month end for Uncompleted order , calculate WIP value & settle the Order.
General steps for month end practice:
    Over head calculation
    WIP calculation
Variance calculation -  Once the Order receives  -  DLV /TECO  status.
    Order settlement.
    Order closing

  • Process Order Settlement without GR or GI

    Hello,
I have a quick question that I need help with please. A process order has no Goods Receipt yet (only consumption) as of month-end when we settle all orders. Will such an order settle and post an entry to GL even though it is not completed yet?
Also, if an order has Goods Receipt but no consumption (I know it doesnt make sense, but it is an error order), will it still settle?
    Thanks,
    Gligor.

    Hi,
If I understood correctly, you have consumptions of RM from your inventory but you dont have production GR.  You wanted to do the order settlement.
    - Why do you want to settle order that is not completed in production?  If there are any expenses on the order during the month, shouldn't these expenses be tracked as WIP?
    - Also, for the case where there are GR without GI, are there any activity consumptions on the process order?
    Thanks,

  • PROCESS ORDER SETTLEMENT - KO88

    Hi!
As per my knowledge KO88 will be done for OHDS and for Material.  OHDS settlement will be done in month ending which results the difference between KSII and KP26.
Can anybody explain how the accounting entry will be generated at the time of Process order settlement of material i.e. KO88.
    Sreenivas

    Hi
Settlement entries are same as in production order.  No diff
However, u must be aware settlement entries are dependent on status of process order.  If status is DLV or TECO wip is calcelled and variances are calculated.  If status if PREL or REL or PDLV wip entries are posted.
Hope you have made settings in WIP for offsetting entries
Pls assign points if this clarifies else send query with more explanation
