WIP should charge the resosorce on the basis of Time taken to complete job

Hi,
I would like to know how:
WIP should charge the resosorce on the basis of Time taken to complete a job.
the facility what we have in WIP is to change the unit of resource and then the costing will take place.
I will clarify with the help of an example.
Let a job requires 1 hour to complete but it has taken 1 1/2 (90 minutes) hours to complete. the WIP value summary shows the Cost based upon the standard hours required and not on the actual hours taken to complete the job.
Please provide suggestions

Sounds like you are autocharging labor but you don't want to. The only way to do what you want is to use a charge type of manual on the resource. This can cause other issues so make sure you test fully. For example in an average cost environment the manual resource transaction must occur before the completion transaction or the cost goes to variance.

Hi Kalpana
Please reread my comment. I said to try and populate "Requested End" Date.
Make sure the date profile assigned to the transaction includes this Date Type.
If you can populate this either manually or programmatically the solution should be quite forward.
If you cannot do this, only then should you look at making any significant sort of enhancement.

Can't install the software for the Canon MX870 series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.

I'm trying to setup my Canon MX870 USB ink jet printer plugged into my Airport Extreme's USB port. However, I keep getting a message of; "Can't install the software for the Canon MX870 series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." And then I have to click cancel.
The "Print & Scan" from System Preferences, can see the printer as it has the NAME: Canon MX870 series, and the LOCATION: 'the name of my network', and USE: MX870 series. But after clicking "Add", it tries to install the software (I've already installed the latest drivers however on my Mac Pro) and that's when I get this message;
"Can't install the software for the Canon MX870 series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server."
Any ideas, help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Marty,
It sounds like you are not able to add your Canon printer in System Preferences. I found an article with steps you can take to resolve this:
Resolution
USB printers and Bonjour-enabled network printers
Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:
Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.
Contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.

Did you try to charge it using the adapter or your computer?
If you can, let it charge for about 15min, then connect in recovery mode, described in this article:

Have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge (the Rs 60) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

two things to be looked upon in this case. First thing is about the battery. Once the battery has enough charge in it we can try a force restore on the phone to re-install the iOS.
> Try a hard reset of the phone (Press and hold the HOME button and the Sleep/Wake button until the phone restarts and comes up with Apple logo). After trying this step, try charging the phone and see if the battery holds the charge.

Didn't work in what way. Are you unable to start it up? Does it start but then freezes? Does the screen stay black when you turn it on?
Try this - press the home and power buttons and keep pressing them until the apple logo appears.

If you need several copies of Acrobat (the license is per user), then you should talk to Adobe Sales about a volume purchase. I am not sure of the details, but probably the best way to go. In that case, I think all are on the same S/N and you pay according to the number of activations or such. Again, I am not sure and you need to talk to Adobe. Content is not deleted just because the battery discharges but you should backup your iPad regardless just in case.
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

Here is some info on battery/charging for apple products.
~ They normally come 2/3 charged, so you would want to charge it right away if you want a 100% battery.
~ Keep it out of the sun because the sun will take away battery life.
