With PE10 export multiple frames

Hi, is there a way in PE10 to export multiple frames to multiple jpg/bmp files, other than one freeze frame at a time.   Or is there a plug in that will do this?

You need to use Export As Sequence in the Share> Computer> Image advanced settings.

  • Export multiple frames of a composition with layers intact

I'm working with lower quality video and after many headaches with codecs I finally started using image sequences so I could do editing in photoshop then bring it into After Effects.  Now I want to go the other way.  Export an image sequence with layers intact so I can do further editing back in photoshop.
I found this on an adobe help site:
To export a single frame as an Adobe Photoshop file with layers, choose Composition > Save Frame As > Photoshop Layers.
Is there a way to do this with a sequence?

Check AEnhancers.com! There is a script somewhere there that sets up your million render outputs and enumerates them sequentially.

  • SWF movie export on frame-by-frame basis WITH actionscript

    Hi there,
I know they're two ways of exporting flash movies:
Export the whole timeline. This only allows timeline animations and gets messy because you have to cram up everything on the main timeline.
Realtime-Export via Quicktime. This is a "full blown" export, but heavily dependent on CPU power or speed of harddrive, depending on resolution.
I also work a lot with music programs and there is an option called "mixdown". This will render the whole song - as fast as the processor is capable - to a WAV-file. So time doesn't matter anymore, notes don't get skipped, etc.
I would like to see something like this in flash, too. WITH actionscript.
I just want flash to export one frame for each "onEnterFrame" event, NOT when the timer tells you, it's time for a "next frame". So this would mean not to trigger the onEnterEvent when the appropiate time has passed, but to trigger it, when the next frame can be exported.
Libraries like "TweenLite/Max" are capable of doing frame-based animations, independent from the timer, so everything on that end is pretty fine.
Would be so great if that was possible in any way.
Is it already in CS5? Or maybe an option in CS6... argh, so many years to wait...
until then, I have to measure the fps, look out for the lowest number, export at THAT framerate (in most of the cases just 4 or 5 fps, even on a very fast computer - just because 2 or 3 frames happen to render slower than the other 200) and afterwarts set it to 25 again (I use Blender to do this)

    Greg-
    Good Lead - Thanks.
I learned that having skinned components (which this uses)
keeps this preloader from working properly. The results were
unstable. It looks like a great little preloader for other things
    though.
I also learned that it's a problem that others have
encountered and that hasnt been solved yet...
    ...."hello Adobe?"
Thanks again for helping me understand this.

  • Trouble with editing multiple frames

    Hi guys,
I'm new to CS4 - learnt my flash many years ago on Flash 5. So anyway I'm trying to get used to the new Motion Tween function and having a few problems.
I've created a simple animation where an object fades in, stays put for a moment and then fades out (one motion tween with 4 keyframes). I now want to resize the movie clip across all of these keyframes cos I got it wrong to start with.
So I click 'Edit Multiple Frames' (everything disappears but that's for another question), drag the onion thingy across the timeline and select the frames on the layer I want to edit. I then click on the free transform tool and drag the invisible movie clip (you can see the outline!) to make it larger.
Result? Well it seems to scale the first frame, but the others are all left at the original scale. Hence animation now shows object fading in whilst getting smaller etc. etc.
There must be an easy way to do this. I've tried the motion editor but you have to do it keyframe by keyframe. Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Ben

Modifying an entire animation with motion tweens is not as easy as it used to be.
Here's the best answer you are probably going to get.
    from : http://flashthusiast.com/2009/10/06/scaling-and-moving-new-motion-tweens-in-flash-cs4/
Scaling an entire animation that does have Scale X or Scale Y animated.
If you have previously scaled anything in the tween, doing this is applied to the first keyframe and the tween would animate to the earlier scaling (the auto-keyframing feature can be a detriment in this situation, especially when it comes to scaling due to the percentages being reset - for this reason Motion Presets also won’t help). In this situation, I recommend scaling using the Motion editor:
    1. Go to the Scale X and Y properties in the Motion Editor.
    2. Press the Alt key while dragging the curve in each graph up and down. This scales the entire scale animation at the same time (same as edit multiple keyframes).
    3. If you need to proportionally scale the motion path for the tween as well, select the path on the Stage and use Free Transform or enter a new value in the Transform panel.
I have had success with the above method, but from what I can tell you can only do one property at a time on one object at a time. So it is an awful amount of work.
As for step 2: while dragging the whole curve it seems the property value is very reluctant to snap to whole integers and I often see values like 200.35%.
Same thing applies for dragging property keyframes up and down in the motion editor. Is there a way to get nice clean numbers? I I want to scale something by 50% I don't want 49.83% I find myself often keying in these values by hand.
For me even though scale X and scale Y are "linked / locked / contstrained" It seems I get mixed results with this feature. Changing scaleX doesn't always change scaleY

  • Error with Render Multiple Frames

I have this problem before and the only solution I had was to reinstall the WHOLE system and it was fixed that way (but manually install Adobe CC).
    The problem is the next:
After Effects doesn't render anything if I have "Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously" enabled. If click "Render" and it keep there forever and it never render, sometimes it automatically stop with an error:
"After Effects Error: Rendering error while writing to file. An output module failed. The file may be damaged or corrupted (-1610153464)"
This error shows up if I manually stop the rendering process.
If I disable "Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously" it render without any trouble, but that is not the point, I was able to render using that feature without any trouble before and I doubt I should have any trouble with my current specs.
When I close AE, multiple "aeselflink" keep running about 15% each one.
    What I'm aware off:
    - I have the latest After Effects version from the Creative Cloud.
    - I have quicktime installed, since It comes in the core of OSX.
    - I have fixed my permissions.
    - I have deleted ALL the Adobe folders from "Preferences" Library folder.
    - I have reinstalled After Effects 2 times.
    - Adobe Media Encoder renders without any trouble
    - I have tried to render .mov, tiff sequences, mpeg, flv, all with the same results.
Using OSX 10.8.3 with 32GB RAM and i7 processor (4 cores with 8 cores running with hyper threading).
    Thanks in adnvace.
    Here is a video:

Stock answer no. 1: You have installed a CoDec (or Quicktime Component) that is not safe for MP rendering and messing up things. Could be an audio device driver, something liek a screen recording software or speech-to-text tool, could be Skype or similar even. check that and remove the relevant QT extensions/ diable them.

  • How do I export a frame with the Lumetri effect applied?

I've done some color correcting in SpeedGrade (dynamic link in Premiere as the Lumetri effect) and I want to use the Export Frame button in the program monitor in Premiere. It seems like this would be a trivial task, however, I can't seem to export a jpg, png, etc. that keeps the Lumetri effect applied. The exported frame is always raw, back to the frame's original state, missing the adjustments applied by the Lumetri effect. What gives? Is there something I'm missing? Shouldn't it be as simple as clicking this Export Frame button and you get what you see in the monitor, or is this a bug? Also, I've tried through Export Media and Media Encoder to no avail; the effect is still bypassed when exporting single frames/image files. Video works fine.
Anyone else experience this and have a solution/workaround? For the time being, I've resorted to Command+Shift+4 and taken a png screen grab that way, but it would be nice to be able to export the frames directly from within Premiere.

OS X 10.9.5 Adobe Premiere CC 2014.2 Release 8.2.0 (65) Build ...I just did a quick test with a different set of footage in another version of the same project, and it is working. Went back to the original version I was having trouble with, and of course, now it also works. I cannot replicate this problem again. Possibly something funky happening with Direct linking at the time I was having the issue? I restarted my computer and everything, though, and it was still there. Maybe if this happens to someone else they will find this thread and leave a comment with a little more insight as to what's going on.

  • Exporting current frame with correct aspect ratio

Hi and thanks for viewing my question. I've created a video in Motion 3 using the preset HDV1080i60 which is the preset for the video I'm using in Final Cut. It's a video of images, text elements and a background video that I created from scratch not a video recorded with an hd cam. I export the video and import to Final Cut and everything is great including the correct aspect ratio. When I export current frame from Motion no matter what setting I use it changes the aspect ratio so it isn't in widescreen format anymore. Any suggestions how to export a frame to maintain the widescreen format like it does when I export as a video? Thanks for the help.

Because Motion is exporting with square pixels...
If you have photoshop, you can do the following:
Now make a new image, go to the HDTV 1920x1080 preset, but change the width to 1728 hit OK... Copy and paste your original image from Motion and scale horizontally to fit (helps if snapping is turned on).
    +How I arrived to this conclusion...+
I opened the exported still in photoshop, changed the pixel aspect ratio to d1/ntsc widescreen. Made a new image with the HDTV setting, copied and pasted the image into the new ps file, command clicked the layer (which selects the pasted image), went to edit crop. Then I checked the image size and it gave me 1728x1080...

  • Brush Tool with Edit Multiple Frames

I'm doing some masking with the brush tool. Each keyframe I'm drawing a bit more of the mask. My problem is if I go back to the first keyframe and paint something it doesn't appear on the other keyframes.
I thought I found the solution with Edit Multiple Frames, but it doesn't seem to work with the brush tool.

Editing multiple keyframes the way you want is not possible (all the other tools like drawing squares etc. will only appear on the last frame, even if mutiple edit is selected).
Want You want to do is going backward: say: your mask is ten frames long, now navigate to the tenth frame insert a keyframe (you should now have 1 keyframe on the first and one on the tenth, both empty); now draw the last stage of your mask on the tenth frame. Then hold down the Alt key and drag the 10th to the 9th frame. Erase the parts you don`t  want hold down Alt-Key and drag the 9th to the eight frame and so on.

  • FLV files exported with Alpha have extra frames after end of sequence.

Sequence is 588w x 486h Animation+ codec, talent chroma-key (Conduit) on track 2 with no background on track 1. Flash 8 is installed. When I export using the QuickTime Flash export component using On2 VP6 with Alpha Channel settings, the resulting FLV has additional frames up to around 20 seconds for a 2 minute sequence. These additional frames are a freeze of the last frame in the sequence. I tried several different sequence codecs/Spark codec with same result. Even setting an In and Out on the sequence does not help.
One symptom I have noticed, is that when I click in the timeline beyond the last frame of video, I still see the last frame of video in the Canvas (But not in the BlackMagic video card output). Normally I would see black or checkerboard.
Anybody heard of any conflicts with the Flash Export component dircect from the timeline or via a batch export.
Exporting an Item Settings QuickTime (Animation+) files and then using Flash Encoder does work, but I am trying to avoid the extra steps. (250 sequences to export)
I suspect I have an issue with the export component, but I wanted to see if anybody else has experiences this before I reinstall FCP and Flash software.

I have found what I believe the cause of the extra frames issue here, so I thought I would post it for others.
This appears to be caused by a problem between the Adobe FLV Export Component and QuickTime 7.2.  Adobe's website says that Flash encoder has issues with non 44.1 kHz audio.  Changing the sequence settings to 44.1 and rendering the audio solves the problem and FLV files exported from the timeline or via batch export are the correct length.
Exporting FLV files using either Spark or On2 VP6 with alpha, used to be a breeze with awesome results.  I do this all day to support our Flash developers.  The audio issue is easy to work around, but I also get random errors in the alpha channel of these movies now.  These single frame errors appear as black flashes.  There is nothing in the timeline that would appear to cause this.  Re-exporting sometimes fixes it, or simply moves the error somewhere else in the timeline.    This may also be related to QuickTime 7.2, but I don't know.
If anyone has experience these flashes in the alpha channel of exported FLV files please let me know how you resolved it.  This is a major productivity killer.
    Thanks....

  • Exporting multiple sequences from Premiere with Match Sequence Settings...

If I individually select a sequence in Premiere and Export Media I have the option of checking Match Sequence Settings but with multiple sequences selected the option goes away. So I have to individually select the sequence, check the Match Sequence Settings box and add to the queue for every. darn. sequence. All I want is to export multiple sequences to Media Encoder with Match Sequence Settings (or add multiple sequences to the Media Encoder queue, same thing). Am I missing something? This seems like it would be used a lot...

For PC users, of which I am one, the Preview Render codec in the Sequence is usually MPEG so best to avoid it. If you can actually use ProRes, then it's understandable that you'd want to "Match Sequence" if possible.

  • Working with multiple frame rates

Hi- I unfortunately am dealing with a project where I'm dealing with potentially 3 different frame rates. I have some shot at 29.97ndf, some HDV captured using 1080i60 and some P2s converted for FCP and are at 23.98.
I understand that FCP 6 can handle different frame rates in the same timeline, so... are all these different rates something I need to be concerned with? I'll need to cut these together into a single montage and my end product will be a DVD.
    Thanks for your help.
    Robert

Thank you guys. Any specific ProRes? (there are so many of them). So... does this mean when I render it at 29.97 for NTSC all the 23.98 footage is going to get speed up like chipmunks?
    Thanks again.

  • Do I need to export multiple sizes for all standard print sizes? i.e.Say I crop the image in LR to 6'5" x 9' to fit within an 11" x 14" (overall) mat of a framed print.. Now let's say I want to reprint that same image in a 12" x 16" size ... to fit within

Do I need to export multiple sizes for all standard print sizes? i.e.Say I crop the image in LR to 6'5" x 9' to fit within an 11" x 14" (overall) mat of a framed print.. Now let's say I want to reprint that same image in a 12" x 16" size ... to fit within a mat of with overall size of 20" x 24"? Or will the 1st export be "locked" at 6.5" X 9" (proportionately)?

So, for the first one Export it cropped to 6.5 x 9 - and in the Export Dialog box there is a capability to rename the file for exported output - which would allow you to add something like the crop or intention to the base name of the file.  e.g. for _IMG0846.nef - setup the output filename to _IMG0846-65x9 for 11x14.jpg and output it at, say 300 or 360 dpi.  So, it has a unique name and purpose in your output folder.
For best results, now, re-crop the picture in LR - just open the crop [R] dialog again, reframe the image to the new ratio, 12x16 and Export again - with an adjustment to the filename. e.g. _IMG0846-12x16 for 20x24.jpg
So, now you have two clearly identified image files in your output area and you can provide those to whomever is printing for you, etc.  Discard them when you're done since you always have the original to return to to re-frame again as necessary.
This way you get output sharpening and resolution (in pixels) optimized for your output print size.  Maybe not super important for smallish prints-but more important for larger ones.   Output at 100 quality.

  • Skinned ComboBox has no custom skin if exported on frame other than 1

I have skinned the combo box (mainly the up/down arrows) - it
all works if I export classes on the first frame, but I need to do
it on some other frame for progressive downloading.
I have checked the linkage of everything related to this, I
think, and they all have "export in first frame" unchecked, and I
set my global settings "export frame for classes = 2", and then the
combo box component is in the third frame or later, but it doesn't
    work...
    Example:
ComboBox Assets MovieClip is set to "export in first frame"
Global is set to "export frame for classes = 1"
ComboBox component is in frame 3.
    It works.
ComboBox Assets MovieClip is set to "export in first frame"
    unchecked
Global is set to "export frame for classes = 2"
ComboBox component is in frame 3.
    No skins...
    Any ideas? Thanks.

Since no one was able to help with this, both here and at
some other Flash forums, I thought I would post the answer, in case
it can help someone else. After fooling around with this for
multiple hours, I found somewhat of a solution.
The assets for the custom-skinned combo box look like this in
    my library:
    ComboBoxAssets (folder)
    ....ComboBoxAssets (MovieClip)
    ....Elements (folder)
    ........ComboArrow (graphic)
    ........ComboShape2 (graphic)
    ........ComboGrad1 (graphic)
    ........ComboShape1 (graphic)
    ........ComboThemeColor (MovieClip)
    ........ComboThemeColor1 (MovieClip)
    ....States (folder)
    ........ComboDownArrowOver (MovieClip)
    ........ComboDownArrowDown (MovieClip)
    ........ComboDownArrowUp (MovieClip)
    ........ComboDownArrowDisabled (MovieClip)
The ComboBoxAssets MovieClip contains all of the other stuff,
basically - all 4 of the states from the States folder are inside
    it.
I found, that in order to make this work (for exporting on
some other frame but 1), the only way I can get it to work so far,
    is this:
    1. ComboBox (component) -> uncheck "Export in first frame"
    2. ComboBoxAssets (MovieClip)- > uncheck "Export in first
    frame"
    3. ComboDownArrowOver (MovieClip) ->
    CHECK "Export in first frame"
    4. ComboDownArrowDown (MovieClip) ->
    CHECK "Export in first frame"
    5. ComboDownArrowUp (MovieClip) ->
    CHECK "Export in first frame"
    6. ComboDownArrowDisabled (MovieClip) ->
    CHECK "Export in first frame"
The 6 pieces in the Elements folder all have nothing checked.
This makes no sense to me, but as soon as you uncheck "Export
in first frame" on any one of 3,4,5,6 above (which are nested
MovieClips inside ComboBoxAsset), then that part of the custom skin
will not appear in the compiled movie. The main Assets clip must
export in some other frame, but the other nested clips of it must
be set to export in the first frame.
I don't know if this is a bug, or a feature, or what...
One of the weird things is, that even when set like the
above, there is indeed nothing in the first frame according to the
Bandwidth Profiler (like you want). Weird. Anyway, that's how I got
    it to work.

  • OpenGL vs "Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously"

My first post on these forums (Like to learn on my own ).  This question(s) accually has to do more with RAM and rendering in general.
1.) Is OpenGL rendering faster (With a GTX 460) or is Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously faster (Athlon II x3 445)?  I read on one of the FAQ that you can only use one or the other.
2.) After Effects will stop rendering with at least 10-20% RAM still left over and even call it complete.  Why is this?  I have tried every setting in the book and I can't get it to use any more RAM.  Also in the Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously section I can't get the RAM avalaible for AE over 2.5GB.
3.) What is the difference between the space bar and the 0 key?  As they both seem to do the same thing, and niether get very far into the movie before stopping.
    My System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
    AMD Athlon II x3 445 3.1Ghz
    GTX 460 OC'ed
    4GB 1600 RAM
    Small Boot Drive SSD
This movie is really large (3000x2200ish), but should be able to render further along than it is (Less than 4 sec and 25% left over RAM)...
    Thanks Ahead

    > 1.) Is OpenGL rendering faster (With a GTX 460) or is Render Multiple
Frames Simultaneously faster (Athlon II x3 445)?  I read on one of the

They accelerate entirely different things. Don't use OpenGL for rendering for final export. I leave my preview mode set to OpenGL - Interactive, and that's it.

You have 4GB of RAM? Your OS and other software need RAM, too. After Effects using 2.5GB out of 4GB is about right.

    Read the documentation:
    "Preview video and audio"
The 0 key on the numeric keypad starts a RAM preview.

  • FW CS3 - how to export multiple panel headers?

    Hi,
I have typical web diesign issue but it seems that it is
    difficult or even
imposible to achieve with FW CS3. Maybe somebody can help me.
I have to create 2 sets of headers (title + background) for 2
    graphic
panels. First set of headers (for first panel) cosist of 6
    variants. Second
set contains only 2 variants. It is important to keep
    position of both
groups of headers becouse background underneath them is
    different and
headers are semi-transparent. Each of variant of headers is
    kept on separate
frame. In this case, if 6 frames is created then 6*2=12 files
    will be
exported but I need only 8. Of course I could remove
    unexpected files by
hand but real project is large and number of unexpected files
    is about
100!!! It is almost impossible to keep in mind what files
    should be
    removed.
Is any way to create as many files as I need?
    Regards,
    Marek

    Hi Marek:
As I said in solution one, you must create a WEB sub layer.
    You cannot
share a main web layer to other pages, but you can share a
    web sub layer
to other pages. Select the web layer on a page and then
    create a new
sublayer OF the web layer. Then choose Share Layer to Pages
    from the
Layer options menu. Add your slices to that web sub layer.
    Then the one
set of slices become common to all pages you choose to share
    the web sub
    layer with.
If you need different slice dimensions on each page, that
    won't work,
and you will have to have independent slices on each page, as
    you
    probably do now.
As for the other risk, well, you will just have to be careful
    of what
you do. Sounds a bit trite, I know, but that's all I can
    think of, other
than using a new folder for those exports.
If you do accidentally export to many graphics, yuo can
    always sort by
time and delete them, then re export and ensure the proper
    options are
    selected or deselected.
