Wizard Step question

Hi,
I am having a wizard in the pop-up, which on first call starts by default with Step 1 and all other subsequent calls start with Step 2. What do I need to do that it always starts with Step 1 and not Step 2?
The default layer setting of the wizard is set to Step 1.

Dharmi

  • Grid Installer Wizard step 9 of 10 - execute script root.sh problem

    Folks,
Hello. I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2 whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6)
and according to the tutorial http://appsdbaworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/10/11gr2-rac-on-linux-56-using-vmware.html
The Virtual Disk for each VM is 20 GB whose raw device is /dev/sda (partition /dev/sda1 is the same size).
In order to install Grid Infrastructure, I add 5 Hard Disks into the first VM rac1 and 10GB for each Hard Disk.
Then create 5 ASM disks respectively as a Disk Group. Let me describe them as follows:
    OS Phyysical file: C:\VM_RAC\sharerac\asmdisk1.vmdk (asmdisk2.vmdk asmdisk3.vmdk asmdisk4.vmdk asmdisk5.vmdk)
Corresponding raw devices: /dev/sdb (sdc sdd sde sdf)
    Corresponding partition: /dev/sdb1 (sdc1 sdd1 sde1 sdf1)
    Corresponding ASM disk: ASMDISK1 (ASMDISK2 ASMDISK3 ASMDISK4 ASMDISK5)
When I run Grid installer step 5 of 8, I select all of 5 ASMDISK as ASM disk group in the Wizard.
The clusterware files are supposed to be stored in the ASM disk group.
The 2 VMs rac1 and rac2 should use the same ASM disk group.
By here, I don't do anything regarding ASM disk group in the second VM rac2.
When run the Grid Installer step 9 of 10, execute script root.sh in the 2 VMs rac1 and rac2. The script root.sh runs in the first VM rac1 successfully. But when the script root.sh runs in the second VM rac2, the error message comes up as following:
ORA-15018: disk group cannot be created.
ORA-15031: disk specification 'ORCL:ASMDISK5' matches no disks.
ORA-15031: disk specification 'ORCL:ASMDISK4' matches no disks.
ORA-15031: disk specification 'ORCL:ASMDISK3' matches no disks.
ORA-15031: disk specification 'ORCL:ASMDISK2' matches no disks.
ORA-15031: disk specification 'ORCL:ASMDISK1' matches no disks.
    Configuration of ASM failed.
Did not successfully configure and start ASM.
    Initial cluster configuration failed.
From the above error message, it seems that we need to connect the second VM rac2 with the ASM disk group created in rac1 so that 2 VMs use the same set of the ASM disks.
But I don't see anything about doing ASM disk group in the second VM rac2 in the tutorial
    http://appsdbaworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/10/11gr2-rac-on-linux-56-using-vmware.html.
    My question is:
Do any folk understand how to solve ASM disks issue in the second VM rac2 when run the script root.sh in rac2 on step 9 of 10 in Installer Wizard ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
One of mandatory requirement for RAC is shared storage. Check if you have shared storage across all nodes.
Run oracleasm listdisk on node2 to see if it can see the same disks on node 1. Otherwise you didn't follow that tutorial correctly
    Cheers

  • Payment Wizard - step 6of 9 - recommendation report PLD has no vendor code

    Dear all,
    Our customer is on SAP2007A SP00 PL41, US localization, SQL2005, no 3rd party add-on
They are using Payment Wizard. On create new >> step 6 of 9, recommendation report, when they tried to print the report, we cannot see vendor code and vendor name. They are blank. We are using the system PLD.
If we just go through the exsiting recommandation, we can have vendor code and vendor name on the report. This only happened when we create new payment.
I can reproduce this in SAP2007 SP01 PL08, CA localization. Is it a bug or a system behavior? Thanks.
    Regards,
    Yuka

    Hi,
Please check the issue in the Demo database on the Latest patch.
I think the customer is doing the Print Preview when the Payment wizard is being run.
Check for the saved recommended run , whether you can get the Print/print preview or not.

  • No synchronous Request/Reply option in B2B config wizard step 5 of 7 ?

I have a customer running SOA Suite 11.1.1.5 who has created a BPEL process
and added a B2B partner link to the reference swim lane.
They want to send a 270 document to a partner and receive a 271 on the same HTTP Channel as a Sync Req/Reply
When the customer runs the B2B wizard, it successfully connects to their WLS Server and at
Step 5 of 7 in the wizard they see radio buttons for
    o Send
    o Receive
They do not have radio buttons further down for
    o Synchronous Request/Response
    o Outbound
    o Inbound
Does anyone have any ideas why not?
I have a sample running on my local server which is also 11.1.1.5 and
the Synchronous Request/Response radio buttons do appear.
    thanks

    Bob,
    I don't think PS4 (11.1.1.5) has this option available -

  • File Adapter Wizard Step 4

I'd like to write out a message variable to a file. When I use the file adapter, the wizard asks for a schema in step 4. There is no xsd schema defined for the message.
I tried using the "Schema is Opaque" checkbox to create the partnerlink but then I get a type mismatch between the message I want to write out and the opaque "Write_msg" of the adapter.
What should I do to write out a message using the file adapter when there is no xsd? How do I get past step 4 in the wizard? Is there an example somewhere?
    Thanks,
    Bret

Google's wsdl is available for download to the local file system. It's not available dynamically via an API, at least not that I've been able to find. Perhaps because they require you to sign a license agreement checkbox and access via an API would not satisfy their legal department? I guess we need a new WS* specification: WS-Legal or WS-Licensing.
I did create my partner link just as you described. My local file is called GoogleSearch.wsdl and the partner link wizard creates a file called GoogleSearchRef.wsdl. But there is no xsd created.
Maybe the only workaround is to chop the message definition out of the wsdl file and manually create an xsd. But that would be a severe support workload, since Google's wsdl may change from time to time and a new xsd would then have to be generated. Perhaps the process of generating an xsd from a wsdl could be automated. What do you think?

  • K9N2G Neo CPU Stepping question.

Hello, I have a K9N2G Neo and I am looking to upgrade to a AMD Phenom II X4 925 but I have a couple questions. Will stepping/revision of a CPU effect compatibility?
I see in the CPU Support that Phenom II X4 925 C2 is supported but would the same CPU but C3 stepping effect weather or not it worked with my motherboard?
    K9N2G Neo CPU Support list - http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=prodcpu2&prod_no=1493&maincat_no=1 (HDX925WFK4DGI) Stepping - C2)
    AMD Phenom II X4 925 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103656  (HDX925WFK4DGM) Stepping - C3)
Sorry if this is common knowledge I haven't been able to find information on it anywhere.
    Thanks for your time.

     Best to ask MSI. http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=html&name=aboutus
The latest in support list is C2 CPU supported by BIOS 1.2 and that dates back to Jan. 2009.
Even the list from this website which are usually fairly up to date doesn't show any C3's.
    http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-MSI/K9N2G_Neo_%28MS-7511%29.html
It probably is supported with latest BIOS but don't take my word for it.

Well... I suppose that the number range is the number of the invoice..
But if i set the number range from invoice number 10 to invoice number 100, wizard load all invoice..Not only the invoice between the range i set.
So... can you explain me how does the number range work in wizard payment?
    Thank in advance.

Hi Gordon.. Thank's for your reply..

  • Step by step question

I was wondering if there are any kind souls out there that have put together any step by step lessons thst DO NOT involve a pre made template?
I would like to learn to build a web site COMPLETELY from scratch. Every lesson I so far have come across starts with some template, where everything is already done ahead of time. I want to learn all that stuff they skip in the lessons.

Kudos, to you, on wanting to do things at the base level, instead of taking the shortcut.
I don't know of any such lessons, myself.  I'm self-taught: I learned basic HTML4.0 by a book (always remember to properly nest and format your tags); I learned ColdFusion basics from a co-worker, the rest I did by asking a lot of questions in forums, like this one; I learned JavaScript, AJaX, and jQuery the same way.  Now that I think of it, that's also how I learned Classic ASP.  I did use a tutorial book for learning PHP, and that's all the PHP knowledge that I have.

    Hi,
From your narration, you can clear the configuration cache, then re-run the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, check the effect.
Cleared the cache of config database by following below steps.
    1. Stopped the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service.
    2. Started on the SharePoint Server where Central Administration Site is hosted. Browse to
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\SharePoint\Config\
    3. Deleted all the xml files. (But do not delete the cache.ini file.)
    4. Then Edited the cache.ini and replaced the current value with "1".
    5. Restarted the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service on the Central Admin server .

  • BPM "Fork" step question

Concerning  fork step : Here is the documentation :
You use a fork () when you want to continue a process in branches that are independent of each other, for example, to communicate with two systems that are independent of each other. The branches of the fork join in a union operator.
You can specify the required number of branches and then define whether the process must run through all branches, or just a particular number of branches. Furthermore, you can define an end condition for the fork (see also: Condition Editor).
As soon as a branch reaches the union operator at runtime, the system checks the following conditions in the specified order:
    ·        The process has run through the required number of branches
    ·        The specified end condition has returned true
The step is complete as soon as one of the conditions returns true.
I want to use it to do 3 different send process in parrallele with 3 different receivers.
Before Fork step I use a container to initialize varaiable count = 0
In each branch I do my send step and then a container that does count = count + 1
And finally I have defined my fork with following end conditions :
    End condition : count = 3
    Necessary branch : 3
But my BPM allways executes only one branch !!!
(Only one is in green in the graphical editor of monitoring for BPM)
    Any idea ?
Do I use the right solution to do the following :
"You can specify the required number of branches and then define whether the process must run through all branches, or just a particular number of branches"

    Hi Jean-Charles,
I agree with Michal. Is it really necessary to use a fork for different send steps.
The reason for your unexpected termination could be the condition. Each fork branch reaching the union operator checks here in this sequence:
Process has run through required branches (here: 3)
End condition is true (container = 3, you have the same container element for ALL branches? This should not work. You need one for each, I think.)
Step is complete as soon as ONE of the conditions return true.
So use three different container elements as counter and connect them in the end condition with AND.
    Regards
    Dirk

  • Conf. Wizard - step 4

    Hello
I've already configured each platform elements in step 3 but I'm not able to move to step 4 - a message always tells me to
Please click the "Previous Step" button to go back to  Step 3 to connect cloud infrastructure.
I've logged out, closed the browser and oppened it again. Tried it with IE 8, Chrome and Firefox 3.6.
Not sure what I still have to do in step 3. The only error messages I see in orchestrator are failures in the process of finding vCenter resources (datastores, portgroups, etc - only finding resource pools works) but the process finishes without errors.
Do I have to wait for something? I see all 4 platform elements in the service items page.
    Regards

My mistake. As the user I'm using to configure the portal already comes from AD, I've missed adding that user to the Site Administration group. After doing it, that user was able to start step 4.
