WLAN driver fails to install on G580 Windows 7 x64 with error "BCM4313: Can not find setup file"

Summary:
I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my G580. Everything is working fine except the WLAN driver fails to install with the error "BCM4313: Can not find setup file".
Details:
I bought lenovo G580 with Windows 8. Since my parents are not comfortable with the learning curve of Win 8, I successfully downgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Everything is working fine but my WLAN card is not recognized because of lack of driver.
The lenovo parts look-up page says I have broadcom WLAN card - CBT BCM4313 MOW HMC WLAN
I looked at lenovo driver downloads site and tried following driver files for Windows 7 and both of them failed to install with the following error. I tried installing other WLAN drivers also but they won't even install as required hardward is not there.
Error - "BCM4313: Can not find setup file"

Any help about how to get past this error will be appreciated. The previous Widnows verison (Windows 8) is still on my hard-drive as windows.old folder. Let me know if I can copy a specific file from there.

Download this driver bcm4313
Start setup and extract the files.After that go to star menu/control panel/system/device manager.There you probably find out that network adapter driver is missing.Choose it and click with right mb for drop menu to show up.Select properties then Driver/Update Drivers...Select to load driver from computer hard drive and choose the path where extract files is.Default path is main partion C: and search for directory named Driver.
And yes...you get "Can not find setup file" error but dont worry.Files needed to instal driver are extract fine.

Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

NI-488.2 v. 1.70 aborts installation on a Windows 2000 PC with the error message "Error 1311 - can't find m4.CAB." The installation was attempted from a NI CD part number 500739E-00 (July 2000).
There was no GPIB card present in the PC at the time of the installation. I am running Windows 2000 Professional SP2, build 2195, on a Dell Precision 340 workstation.

Trying to install iTunes 8.0, can not find script file error

I recently tried to upgrade Win XP for iTunes 8.0, and got the following error msg:
can not find script file “C:\program files\uninstall scripts\quicksilver player 7.4\install.wsf”

Hey Tony, you don't happen to work for a large aerospace company, do you? My guess is that you do, because I work at the same place, and the problem is with our company's distribution of quicktime. email me off list and I'll tell you how to fix it.

Sysprep and Capture Task Sequence Fails "Can not find script file C:\LTIBootstrap.vbs"

I've just installed Windows 8 on a Lenovo ThinkPad T440s using Lenovo's recovery discs. I did not join it to a domain. I logged in as Administrator, navigated to our deployment share, and ran Scripts\LiteTouch.wsf. I selected the new Sysprep and Capture
Task Sequence that I just made, told it to upload to DeploymentShare$\Captures, then started the Task Sequence.
It seemed to run fine until after the first reboot. Windows 8 configured the PC for a while, then displayed an error that it had been shut down unexpectedly. I wasn't sure if this was normal, so I just clicked OK. Then I got an error that said "Can
not find script file C:\LTIBootstrap.vbs". After clicking OK on that, I am brought to the desktop.
The image cannot be found in DeploymentShare$\Captures. Under the Monitoring section of the DeploymentWorkbench, I can see that MDT thinks the Task Sequence is still running on the machine (though it is not), with progress stuck on step 16 of 23: Execute
Sysprep. There are 0 errors and 0 warnings listed.
BDD.log is too long to post all of it, but here's the last few lines in case that's helpful.

You might get teh c:\LTIBootStrap.vbs error if you are running SysPrep with a unattend.xml template that contains the c:\bootstrap.vbs template, yet you are *NOT* deploying the image with MDT Litetouch, instead just applying the image to the final machine.
Crack open your install.wim file and search for the unattend.xml file in the normal places to see what it is.
I am concerned about the "shut down unexpectedly" error. There should be no shutdown state information left from a captured *.wim file.
If you still need assistance, please feel free to copy the bdd.log file to a public site like OneDrive, and share the link.

Dynadock V10 - " error can not find installation file" INSTALL ERROR

Hi I have a toshiba dynadock V10.
Every time i try to install the drivers it says " error can not find installation file". I have downloaded the latest drivers and switched off my anti virus and shut off all running proiceses and no go. There are a few references to this on the internet but none has a solution.
I amn trying to install it on an equium U400 running windows 7.
Funnily enough it loaded on an old dell pc easily!
I have spent hours searching the net and there is no answer. I dont have anything showing in programs to uninstall.

This means that drivers are ok and there must be something wrong with the system preinstalled on Equium U400.
How did you proceed?
Its important that you would NOT connect the Dynadock to the notebook before the drivers and software installation has not been finished.
Therefore you have to install the software firstly. Then after new reboot connect the Dynadock to the notebook and the installation would finish the next steps.

It is difficult to understand your issue from your discription. I have three suggestions.
1. Visit the Boot Camp forum. You posted in the Mac Book Pro forum about your Boot Camp issue. The Boot Camp gurus hang out in the Boot Camp form. https://discussions.apple.com/community/windows_software/boot_camp

How to install apex on windows x64 with 10gR2?

today I tried to install the http-server for our 10gR2-database. We are using windows x64.
But I cant find OHS for this release. How can I install apex then?

have you tried the installation, or did you just ask in advance?
in the last wekks i did a lof of installation stuff on an x64 system using the old x32 versions. even oracle sw like 10.2.0.3 client etc.
and most oft the stuff was up and running just like on an x32 system.
just keep in mind that the directory structure an x64 is slightly different #
if u install x32 software the default installation path is "C:\Program Files (x86)" and in the registry a speacial key hklm\software\wow6432node
just in case you need to patch.
in my opinion it would be worth to give i a try, but remember not on a productive system.
i'd like to hear about your results

I installed j2se on windows xp, updated path, but no matter what direc-
tory I try, when I try to compile(javac) I get the "'javac' is not
recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch
file" message. This even happens in the C:\program files\java\j2re1.4_01\bin directory! Anybody know what's up?

j2re (run-time env) does not have javac. I ran into same problem with
sdk -- j2se. I invoke following commands if invoking java commands
from DOS cmd.exe window. (You can move these commands in a 'bat' file'.)

set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%

Show that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is installed on my Windows 8 computer, but I can't find the app list

I am using windows 8 and the Adobe Cloud shows that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is installed and updated, but I can't find the app, and, when looking at my list of programs to "uninstall", I don't see it listed either. (I thought a possible solution might be to uninstall and install again)

Please try removing Acrobat from the link mentioned below.

Once you have removed the product, please launch the Creative CLoud APP once again and install ACrobat on the machine .

Installing 10g on Windows XP machine JVM launcher "Can't find main class"

I am trying to install 10g Release 2 on a Windows XP machine. I downloaded the zip from the OTN. Unzipped the file. No problems. Tried to run the OUI, it opened up a shell and said to wait. The shell closed and a message frome the JVM Launcher displayed "Can't find main class. Program will exit." I have seen several people on this and other discussion boards having this problem, but have yet to get a solution. Please help.

What's the value of CLASSPATH environment variable? Possibly a non-oracle application has set this variable and the installer catches it. If there is such a variable, comment it out and try again.

With bootcamp it can not find ntsf drive

I have been using latest addition of Bootcamp 5 in an effort to install Windows 7 in a partition. In every attempt it indicates that, even after using Bootcamp 5, it can not load Windows 7 on the "Bootcamp" partition but it always says it needs an NTSF formated partition. Tried 8 times. What am I doing incorrectly?

As Csound1 has already stated, it's worth relooking at the setup guide provided by Apple (link provided below for you), and yet definitely do some sort of backup incase things do go wrong, which has done for me and taken well over a week to fix!

Do you have two HDD's? Are you installing Windows on one HDD and have the Mac OS on another? Or just the standard one HDD installed?

Windows 8.1 Preview cannot be uninstalled. However, if what you want is to remove Windows completely, start up in OS X, open Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) and follow the steps to remove the Windows partition.

Hard drive is full no matter how much data I delete plus can not paste any file

I tried to replace bigger memory sticks to my old macbook pro which only has 2G memory today. After I put on the new memory sticks and tured my macbook pro on, the system seems to be working perfectly ok, but some very very weird problems came:
1, Not all application could be opened. All macbook's own application can be opened, but not the ones I installed later on.
2, Before the problems came, I have around 6G available space on my hard drive. But right now, it always shows Zero KB available, no matter how much data I delete!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3, Data can not be pasted. If I copy some file (no matter what type of file it is), it is not possible to paste it anywhere, not another partition which is still some space left, not even my brand new external harddrive!!!!!! CMD+V doesn't work, and "paste" shows grey under "Edit". No file can be dragged anywhere else either.
4, No matter I put on my new 4Gx2 memory or the old 1Gx2, the problems above exist anyway.
My macbook pro is MB470xx/A, OS is 10.5.8. Please help me troubleshoot!
