WLC not integrating with Radius Server

Hello world,
I have the following situation:
One WLC 2000 Series (software version 7.0.230.0) with multiple SSID`s, one is with 802.1x integrated with a Radius Server.
Everything worked fine until fiew days ago, when users were unable to logon via they`re certificates on Windows XP.
The infrastracture didn`t suffer modifications.
What i have checked: Radius certification isn`t expired, client certification isn`t expired, the password between controller and Radius is correct.
There are no ACL`s between the WLC and the remote Server. I can ping the devices, other SSIDs on the same controller (wpa/psk) are working correct.
The AP`s are 1242.
I have tried deleting the SSID, configure it back. The OS on Windows Server is 2003 Standard. The AP`s are configured H-Reap.
I have increased the Server Timeout from Radius Authentication Servers from 2 to 30 sec.
The message logs recived on WLC Trap Logs:
RADIUS server X.X.X.X:1812 failed to respond to request (ID 161) for client xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx/ user 'unknown'

Can anyone help why i cannot log the users via 802.1x ?

Okay that is good..... this is what I would do next. I would create a test ssid that uses PEAP MSchapv2 and create a new policy in IAS that is basic. Allow 802.1x wireless and user group only and see if you can reconfigure one of the XP machines for PEAP. Can you also post a screen shot of your polices (connection and network) so we can review it.

I would like to go for "Dynamic VLAN Assignment with RADIUS Server and Aironet Access Points 1300". I want the AP to broadcast only 1 SSID. The client find the SSID ->put in his user credential->Raudius athentication->assign him to an specific vlan based on his groupship.
The problem here is that I don't have a AP controller but only configurable Aironet Access Points 1300. I can connect to the radius server, but I am not sure how to confirgure the AP's port, radio port, vlan and SSID.

3.5 RADIUS-Based VLAN Access Control
As discussed earlier, each SSID is mapped to a default VLAN-ID on the wired side. The IT administrator may wish to impose back end (such as RADIUS)-based VLAN access control using 802.1X or MAC address authentication mechanisms. For example, if the WLAN is set up such that all VLANs use 802.1X and similar encryption mechanisms for WLAN user access, then a user can "hop" from one VLAN to another by simply changing the SSID and successfully authenticating to the access point (using 802.1X). This may not be preferred if the WLAN user is confined to a particular VLAN.
There are two different ways to implement RADIUS-based VLAN access control features:
1. RADIUS-based SSID access control: Upon successful 802.1X or MAC address authentication, the RADIUS server passes back the allowed SSID list for the WLAN user to the access point or bridge. If the user used an SSID on the allowed SSID list, then the user is allowed to associate to the WLAN. Otherwise, the user is disassociated from the access point or bridge.
2. RADIUS-based VLAN assignment: Upon successful 802.1X or MAC address authentication, the RADIUS server assigns the user to a predetermined VLAN-ID on the wired side. The SSID used for WLAN access doesn't matter because the user is always assigned to this predetermined VLAN-ID.

I'm not sure if the Autonomous APs have the option for AAA Override. On the WLC, I can go into the BSSID, Security, Advanced, and there's a checkbox that I would check to allow a Radius server to send back the VLAN.
I did a little research and it looks like the 1300 may give this option but instead is defined as "VLAN Override". It looks as though 2011 is not compatible with 2003 per some searches online, but what are some options I have to gain full access again? I purchased parallels in hopes that this my help and I am able to use remote desktop connection to log on to server but can not drag and drop files I need. There is a shared drive on that Server we all use to exchange files.
The two main issues are gaining access to my email again and ability to drag and drop files from mac to pc. I hope this is enough info to get some solutions.
PS - IT person says my iMac's IP is what his server does not understand so that is why I can not login.

Office 2011 is not compatbile with Exchange 2003.

Add does not run with sql server 2008

Hi all,
My add on in the development environment does not run with SQL SERVER 2008. It ran well with SQL Server 2005 and sap b1 2207 B.
On executing the project file system throws an error "YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE COMPANY"
we are trying this scenario on a test machine where SAP B1 2007B with temporary license for one month and SQL server 2008
is installed.

Calendar will not sync with Exchange server or most Google Calendars

Hi,
I am writing about my wife's brand new Samsung Charge on Verizon. We managed to setup both her gmail account and her work exchange server account fine, except for the calendars:
Her Google calendar shows up fine, but I am unable to even see any other Google calendars that she has access to (both her own secondary calendars as well as calendars that others have shared with her) in order to select them to be visible.
Her exchange calendar says it is enabled (on the list of available calendars), but no events at all show up.
This behavior is with the latest software updates on the Charge (2.2.1 firmware, I510.EE4 build) using its stock calendar software. I did notice that if I use Smooth Calendar, it does list all of her Google calendars under its listing of available calendars, but it still only shows data from her primary calendar. This is also true using the Touch Calendar app, which leads me to believe that there is some problem within the Google Calendar sync software that is not allowing her calendars to appear correctly.

We are getting the below error when we see in Crawl logs

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got error when communicating to the server.
This happens when crawler is not able to connect to the server. Make sure server name is correct. Couple of steps to troubleshoot it
You should be able to ping the server from the server having crawl component. Make sure there is an entry for the server in the host file under c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder.
          Ping <servername>
      2. You should be able to connect to the server using telnet command
Telnet< servername> <port number>

If the issue still exists, you can delete the old search application and recreate from the beginning.
You can also reset the index and do a full crawl after.

My facebook setting keeps saying "Error Signing In" "could not communicate with the server." How do I fix this?

I have been trying to fix my facebook setting but I keep getting an error message after inputting my password. "could not communicate with the server" keeps popping up. [DELETE ACCOUNT] doesn't work either. It doesn't delete my facebook account at all. What else can I do?

Go into settings/privacy/Facebook and disable the button.
Open your Facebook app and login.
Once logged in go back to that button and enable.
You may have to re-enter your password but the error will be gone.

Database Mail not working with SQL Server Agent

I'm running SQL Server 2005 Standard edition 64 bit with SP2 on a 64 bit machine.
Database mail does not work with SQL Server Agent. When I configure SQL Server Agent to use database mail the test email button is greyed out and inactive therefore I cannot send emails using operators or for jub success failure etc.
I've read that there was supposed to be a fix for this with SP1 but I have SP2 and still receive the same problem. Please can somebody help as I do not wish to use SQL Mail as a work around due to this becomming redundant in future versions of SQL Server.

The problems solved
steps:
1)we create a mail profile at at Managment->Database Mail ,of SQL Managment
2)we set this account as "default" at Managment->Database Mail -> Configure Database Mail -> Manage profile security
3)At tab "Alert System" of SQL Server Agent properties , we check the "Enable mail profile" , Mail System=Database Mail, Mail profile = "the profile we already create"
4)we create a new operator at "Operators" of sql agent, where at "notification options" -> "Email name" we put the mail where we want to sent the agent the mails at failured job
5)We go at a specific job, at tab "Notifications" ,we check the "email" check box and then we choose the operator we just create, at the text box next to check box.

we have two tier farm application and web is running in one server , and other one is database server, search crawling is not working ,My search service application log giving these below errors , Can you please suggest me how to fix these
errors and how to make the search crawling with out errors.This is very urgent friends, because I have these issues on production server. kindly help me to fix these issues as soon as possible.
The crawler could not communicate with the server. Check that the server is available and that the firewall access is configured correctly. If the repository was temporarily unavailable, an incremental crawl will fix this error.

thanks gain noddy, I found the actual problem now . It is crawling the site collection . but is not crawling the sub site. How to include sub site to crawl , I found this solution in Google , one suggested to do this but did not work out.
Can you please let me know how to include sub site to crawl its contents .
The solution to this is frustratingly simple...
At the root of the site, go to Site Actions >> Site Settings and choose Search and Offline Availability under Site Administration.
Set the page indexing behavior to “Always index all Web Parts on this site”.
Save and run a full crawl.

According to your post, my understanding is that you get an error when communicating to the server.
1. This happens when crawler is not able to connect to the server. Make sure server name is correct and your crawl account should have the Full Read permission on the User Policy at the Web Application level. It should not have any specific
permission on any site collection.
Couple of steps to troubleshoot it:
a. You should be able to ping the server from the server having crawl component. Make sure there is an entry for the server in the host file under c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder.
      Ping <servername>
b. You should be able to connect to the server using telnet command
      Telnet< servername> <port number>

2. Can you browse to the WebApp from the server that is performing the Crawl? The issue is usually the most typical is the LoopBackCheck.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0
Right-click MSV1_0, point to New, and then click Multi-String Value.
Type BackConnectionHostNames, and then press ENTER.
Right-click BackConnectionHostNames, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type the host name or the host names for the sites that are on the local computer, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the IISAdmin service.

3. Checked WinProxy to see configured proxy:
       C:\Windows\system32>NetSH WinHTTP Show Proxy
       Run NetSH WinHTTP Reset Proxy
       Restart server and test again.

4. The web.config file of the crawled web application contains an error.
       The target site collection contains a web part error for instance on the default.aspx.
       Also check the solution are not deployed correctly.Central Administration -> Solution Management (Manage Farm Solutions).

Here are some things to try:
Close itunes
Check your internet settings.
Control Panel – Internet Options – Advanced
Check SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0
Uncheck “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)”
Click Apply
Click Okay
Open itunes and try again
And, you don't need to turn off the firewall, just add itunes and itunes helper to your security software firewall.
