WM: Suggest Bin (Like in LT09)

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to Suggest a Bin (in a custom program) similar to LT09 (which automatically assigns a Bin). I've read several threads and it says to use the FM L_TO_PREPARE_ITEM_INT. Unfortunately, I cannot make this FM work. There are too many parameters to pass and I don't know which parameters and specific fields are important.
I need to know if there are other FM's / techniques / logic that can help me to solve my problem. If L_TO_PREPARE_ITEM_INT is the only way to determine the suggested bin, I need someone to help me identify the parameters that are really required to run this FM properly. It would be better if someone can copy & paste their sample code.

            I_LTAK        = LTAK
            I_LTAP        = LTAP
            I_MGEF        = MGEF
            I_MLVS        = MLVS
            I_RL03A       = RL03A
            I_T333        = T333
            I_T334T       = T334T
            I_T340D       = T340D
1) You will get SU details from LEIN table for SU(LENUM), using the same u can
     fetch data from LQUA with condition   WHERE LGNUM = I_LEIN-LGNUM
                         AND LGTYP = I_LEIN-LGTYP
                         AND LGPLA = I_LEIN-LGPLA
                         AND LENUM = I_LEIN-LENUM.
2) Fil LTAk with I_LQUA-LGNUM TO LTAK-LGNUM,
        '999'   TO LTAK-BWLVS,.
3) Copy the LQUA details to LTAP
4) Fill MVS with below code :

updated 01-01-01.. system is automatically remaining quantity 4000 is updates in return stock bin in transfer order..i want to 1000
qty should be updated in 01-01-01 and remainin quantity should be update the sequence of BIN Like 01-01-02.
where i made mistake the configuration....

With firefox 4, google toobar seach box suggestions no longer appear in the search box itself

After installing Firefox 4:
When I start typing in the Google toolbar search box an item, like NYT and the search suggestions appear -- like NY Times -- I used to be able to click on "NY Times" and this would appear filled out in the Google search box. This no longer happens. Instead, what I have typed in is the only thing showing: NYT.

I think this may not be a browser problem but rather a Google problem.
I am getting the same problem with the Google Chrome browser.

For four years Ive been unable to use my home network as anticipated. I have ADSL connection with O2, airport extreme, three expresses, two minis 10.6.8 and 10.7.3, and two pros 10.6.8 and 10.7.3, and a cinema thbolt display. Id like to use bbc iplayer.

I am unable to stream video and I lose connection frequently. Ive tried it using wireless connection and with ethernet. Ive tried using the O2 router (%series) as a modem for the extreme, Ive tried using the O2 without the extreme - not poss to extend network but MUCH faster, and Ive tried using a variety of other routrers and modems. My flat is 10m x 6m, there are no other wireless devices within or immediately adjoining except for my wireless landline phone that I have changed three times. Every single piece of my home network has been to the genius bar at least three times and the entire network with all devices has been taken twice. Genius bar have found either no fault or no explanation. Applecare dont seem able to tie their own shoe laces and have been worse than useless, suggesting things like checking a plug fuse (good advice but not relevant). I met a chap socially who turned out to be an apple employee home networking specialist. He offered to look at it and came to my flat. I quote him now: "F**k me, its just not supposed to do tha., Theres something seriously wrong with the system. It's an Apple problem completely". However, despite repeated requests I have not been invited to escalate the issue beyond the genius bar. Enen though everything possible is apple (they dont make a modem for ADSL??), all I get from them is it must be the fault of something else.
PS Ive had my O2 connection checked tens of times and paid for a bt engineer to check my line 4 times.
PPS The thunderbolt display was sold to me after I refused one on the grounds that the location of my mini was more than 2 metres from the display, and the salesperson reassured me that the thunderbolt connection was universally available and that would have no problem connecting the display to my mini 5 metres away.
I may well not be too bright when it comes to computers, but with their attitude of there being NO SUCH THING AS A BAD/FAULTY APPLE PRODUCT, ONLY SILLY CUSTOMERS WHO HAVENT WORKED OUT HOW TO USE THEM YET, I wish I will soon see their brand will rot in commercial oblivion ****. I have focused this on home netwrking but that is the tip of the iceberg. However, having invested so much of my life and my money in what I have, please can any of you good people out there show me the foolish error of my simple ways?

Addition to stock in storage bin

Hi,
in the customizing LE-WM-Master data-Define Storage Type I have defined for storage type 500 that addition to stock is not allowed, so all the bins created in this storage type are not going to allow addition to stock even though in materials master this indicator is marked?
MY requirement is to not allow addition to stock to the bins if some material is placed in that bin even if there is available capacity, but this is true for 99% of the bins, meaning I need for 5 bins in particular, system allow addition to stock because I want to place in there 10 different materials that are really small compared to all other materials.
How can I achieve this?

When thinking of this setting you told me everything will work perfec if it worked, but even if I put in the customizing of storage type Addition to stock "M" and in the material master I mark the flag for addition to stock this does not work as spected, when I receive a PO with 2 materials on it, they go to 902, then I try to process the posting change notice but I get error no destination storage bin could be found in storage type XXX
These 2 materials have the same storage section, and I have correctly defined a strategy to place accordingly this storage section,
The current putaway is L next empty bin, and if I change to "I" addn to stock then system allows the putaway but just for one materials automatically, with the second one I still get the error but If I manually type the bin of the storage section then It allows putaway too.
Can you explain what needs to be done to allow putaway of stock in a storage type wich is divided into 3 storage sections, 2 of them are assigned to two bins each (2X2=4), and the last storage section is linked only to one bin.
The rare thing here is that in the first 2 storage section that have 2 bins each, I can put material on it only one palled on each bin, if for some reason only half pallet is placed, then no more stock can be placed there, How to check this capacities?
And for last the strategy is that system tries to putaway first in storage section 1, if no empty bin then try in sto section 2, and if no empty bin there, then it should go to storage section 3 (wich has only one bin attached) but I want to make this bin like infinite capacity so if there is no room in the first two storage sections (4 bins) then it will go to the las storage section wich can allow addition to stock and mix storage.
Please your inputs will be really appreciated

Photoshop restore opened files workspace suggestion

I have a suggestion for a feature that would take a snapshot of all your opened files and placement in photoshop and restore them the next time you restart photoshop. The idea would be if you need to log out everyday or reboot machine, you don't need to spend time reopening all the files you work with previously. Now your first reaction would be 'What for? You have the recently opened files feature...' Well the recently opened files feature is limited to 30 and also files are sometimes named randomly with letters and numbers in the context of digital photography. I have no idea which file number I was using the last time I worked with and I have several thousands to hunt through. You can of course organize collections and flagged them but it is still time consuming to resource all the files.
In a professional environment workplace, we are often required to log out and log back in on a daily basis. If you have a big project ongoing with 20 source material opened, it would be great to take a snapshot of that and restore your photoshop desktop the next time you fire up.
Pushing this frame of mind, I think a navigator like mode (similar to the compositing software Nuke) would be very helpful.

Your suggestion sounds like a nice, logical extension of the Workspace maintenance capability Photoshop has now.
Personally, I'd like to see your suggestion implemented, and even tied into a "recover last good workspace" capability, to facilitate recovery from an unexpected crash or failure.

How to Mass create bins by WM ?

Hi experts,
We need mass create bins by ls10. in LS10, it has some fields , - Sequence number, template, structure and increment.
I don;'t know how to setup this , Now we have some old bins, like storage type is 1CF bins like AB1-01-01. but now we need setup new bins from DE01-01-01A to DE01-01-30A., So if we set sequence number as 0002, When we do material movement, it will choose the new bins ?
How to set the Sequence number, template, structure and increment. ?

Hi,
Sequence number: you had better enter a consecutive number;
Template: it's used for bin coordinate for automatic creation, specifies how the storage bins are defined for automatic generation.
N stands for a numeric character between zero and nine
A stands for an alphabetic letter; this may only be one digit
C stands for a character common to all the bins
Pay attention to the max length of template is 10 chars.
Base on your mention, I think your template should be CCNNCNNCNN;
Structure: it's used to specify how the increment for automatic generation of storage bins is to be interpreted. Different letters mean that the digits are increased by the increment independently of one another. Same letters mean that the increment is a multi-digit one.
Increment: your increment should be DE01-01-01, it's used to determines during automatic generation of storage bins how large the addition is that is to be added on to the storage bin coordinate figures in order to create the "name" of the next storage bin.
Don't forget to input the Start value DE01-01-01 and End value DE01-01-30
In addition, for the new bins chosen automatically, you should have the search stragety for the new bins in WM module, otherwise system only chooses the next empty bin automatically.

Run Disk Utility > Repair ... (not just repair permissions) while booted from another drive. If you have a stronger utility like Disk Warrior, that would be even better.
If you find that the ONLY way you can do this is by booting from the DVD, The Hatter recommends you establish an emergency drive or partition on a drive other than the Boot drive and use that in the future. It makes emergency Repair, backup, and cloning much easier.

The advice usually given is 100% correct -use Stuffit - for THAT type of BIN file (the original posters had trouble with downloads of WinMediaPlayer, AIM, Admium, etc. BINs). But there are many other types.
Here's a more complete explanation - because I'm seeing it as a widespread problem (and I really don't know why so many sites seem to be switching to some variant of BIN instead of .SIT, ZIP, TAR, GZ, DMG, or one of the many other formats and extensions which don't have the 'confusion' problem I'm outlining...).
The WinMediaPlayer BIN is a compressed Binary (I looked) and Stuffit or Stuffit expander (and a number of others) will open it BUT beware: If you have Toast or other ISO/CD/DVD reader/mounter/burner Apps installed on your Mac, THEY will 'grab' the right to open BIN files which they see as ISO Disk Images (which in many cases - like this one, they aren't) this will result in Toast asking you dumb questions, you hitting 'continue' and Toast 'mounting' the 'image' as if it were an ISO image and you'll 'see' what is apparently an Audio CD (Note to Disk App developers - how about having a peek at the headers, and telling the user, please ?).
Very confusing.
The opposite applies, if course, if you download a 'real' ISO BIN file (which usually comes with a matching .CUE file) you want to make sure that it's opened by a program which will treat it correctly as an ISO Disk image - NOT Stuffit.
With any file/App/whatever, you can always CTRL-Click (or Right Click on a multibutton moose [=large Mouse ] ) and choose 'open with', click OFF 'show recommended applications' so you may choose ANY app - and simply choose an App you know will open ISO BINs - like Toast.
If it's NOT an ISO BIN - like AIM, WinMediaPlayer,admium etc.. but is, in fact an archive, use the same approach but choose 'stuffit expander' or another suitable 'UnStuffing' App.
Simple, eh ?

i configured my put away and stock removal strategy as manual , so end user entering bins in TO, where i need to put stock into different bins like, if i receive 50 items means it should be placed into two bins 25 -25. if i try to give in the TO table it wont allowed me.(throwing error:Total of scheduled quantities exceeds quantity to be placed into storage)but i give that exact quantity only. any configuration i have to give.

Could you please check the configuration for the storage type definition. In storage type definition please check the configuration for addition to stock if it is blank it doesn't allow stock to be put in the bin in that storage type.

Predictive text not suggesting words - similar to ...

I've moved from a Moto phone with iTap predicitve text that used to suggest a word when 'typing' so that you didn't have to type in the whole word, particularly useful with long words.
My Nokia 3120 doesn't do-that S60v3 I believe.
Is there a setting in the phone to set it?
Is there a software fix?
Any ideas?

No. The system used so far on S60 phones does not suggest words like it does on Moto or S-E phones. That's not to say that it won't happen in future, but it's more likely to be seen on new models rather than as updates of existing models.

Where to send application suggested improvements

I have some suggestions for Apple to improve it's Address Book app, but cannot find the email address to send such suggestions. Like in the English edition, why doesn't the address field automatically start numbers as that is the default address format in the US. Any help?
