Word Reverse

Dear Abapers.
I have long text like folder path with file name.
My problem is I want to get file name from that text.
Please let me know how I can do this.

Hi Gokul,
You can use <b>SPLIT </b>for this purpose.
<b>Logic:</b>
I am writing the code below. here i am using Split to split the string at character '\' and the splitted substrings will be polpulated into the internal table ZFNAME2[].
So the last entry of internal table will contain the filename.
<b>
Here is the code:</b>
<b>
DATA: </b>ZFNAME(60)  type c,
ZFNAME2 like table of ZFNAME with header line,
NLINES TYPE I.
ZFNAME = 'D:\TEST1\TEST2\TEST3\TESTFILE.XLS'.
<b>SPLIT</b> zfname at '\' into table zfname2 .
<b>DESCRIBE TABLE</b> ZFNAME2 LINES NLINES.
<b>READ TABLE</b> ZFNAME2 INDEX NLINES.
<b>WRITE:</b>  zfname2.
This will definitely solve your purpose,
Prgaya

  • How to reverse the auto levels recording to normal levels?

    Hi!
What I want to say is that I have a recording taken with Zoom H1 and the Auto Levels switch was accidentally on. That of course makes the parts of the recording after a pause to start too loud and then when the signal goes to high, makes it too quiet. It's not nice.
Is there a way to level out the recording? It's a speech and I know that it can be done using Speech volume leveler, but I don't want to use that either. What I am interested in is that is there a way to capture a noise print or the print of desired level of audio and then level out the rest of the audio by referencing to the print volume? In other words, reverse the Auto Levels effect back to normal. Is that possible?
    Thanks!

    Srivas 108 wrote:
I tried Speech Volume Leveler and the thing that I don't like in my particular situation is that it boosts the quieter signals up to the level of louder ones and that means also boosting noise. It would be nice to do the other way around, that is attenuate the louder signals to match the quieter ones. Is that possible to do with Dynamics Processing? How to do it?
Which version of Audition are you using? There are Advanced options on later versions that allow you to keep the noise down.
But what you are looking foe in Dynamics Processing is the Downward Expander. As an example look for instance at the E. Guitar Gate preset. It is a rather extreme version of what you want to do but gives you some idea where to start.

  • Cs2 premium - Middle Eastern version- InDesign and reverse hebrew - windows vista

i have cs2 and after installing the package, i have a very strange problem
in indesign, when i want to write text in hebrew, i get the word reversed, so for example(in english now) if i write in hebrew: moshe, i get ehsom (reversed word)
the example is in english, but the english is fine. i did it in english so you will understand what i get in hebrew.
CS2 is installed on windows Vista
also i installed illustrator(part of the CS2 package) and there, there is no problem at all!.
    the hebrew works great.
    no reversed words.
i dont know what to do and how to solve this problem.
i tried to uninstall CS2, and then reinstalling it again, but the problem stays.
how can i fix this problem?
    thanks for your help!

i dont have an option to chose between RTL or LTR languages.
That's the whole point of the ME editions
I stole this screenshot from Winsoft's site:
So, at least in CS3, that's where the paragraph-direction button is; it's on the Paragraph palette, which you can find in CS2 by going to Window -> Type -> Paragraph (if you don't know exactly where it is already). I think it's in the same place in CS2 but it's been a looooooong time since I've looked at CS2ME.

  • Reverse and slow motion

I am very new to i movie can one reverse and make a clip go in slow motion in i MOVIE HD?

    Hi eyesa -
Beverley has done the 'finding' for you, but actually, she should not have had to.
Rotorius had explained the steps to find the info you needed in iMovie Help.
...I have tried that and found nothing..
Perhaps you did not operate the search function correctly, because by entering the word 'reverse' in the search box, you definitely will get the answer you needed. I wonder if you were maybe using the Search Discussions in this forum, rather than the Help menu in your iMovie project?
I am only posting this to explain that you can use that very useful Help file to answer many of the questions you may have. By all means ask the forum for help when that does not produce an answer.
I know it's all a bit of a puzzle when you start out:-))

  • Powerbook 1.67GHz PowerPC G4 (17") - Memory upgrade

My Powerbook came with 512MB originally from Apple. I just bought another 512MB card from the Apple store, and after installing it, when I display "About this Mac" to check whether the installation was succesfull I see the following information:
    SODIMM0/J20STANDARD.512MB DDR SDRAM PC1700U-25330 OK
    SODIMM1/J23REVERSED...512MB DDR SDRAM PC1700U-25330 OK
Is it OK that the original card is "STANDARD", but the added one is "REVERSED"? What does it mean?
Everything seems to be working fine, but the word "REVERSED" concerns me.

  • Does your iPod have the dreaded apple logo/sad face problem? Here's help!

Hi, I'm Stan, and I've found some useful tips in solving this problem.
This mini-guide is based on what I've found on my old clickwheel 20GB, B&W iPod (actually my bro's. My own video pod works great).
Description of what I call the, "apple logo/sad face" problem:
When I press any button, the apple logo appears, then after a few impatient seconds, the sad face appears, showing "www.apple.com/support/ipod/" at the bottom. Apparently, many ppl have this problem.
    iPod commands:
Hold down the following buttons for the following commands:
MENU + Select=Resets the iPod. This "exits" your iPod out of whatever mode, bringing up the apple logo, hopefully but most unlikely fixing your iPod.
    |<< + Select= the secret diagnostic mode. You'll see: apple logo, then backwards apple logo for a split second (backlight will light up), then you'll see "IRAMPASS. HITPLAY CONTINUE". NOTE: '|<<' is known as the 'reverse' button. aka the 'rewind' or 'previous' button. it's the left button of the iPod. I got confused by the word, 'reverse' b4.
    || + Select= Disk Mode. You'll see a √, should say "OK to disconnect" and you'll see the battery icon and your battery life remaining. NOTE: '>||' is known as the 'play/pause' button. it's the bottom button.
Now then, now that we have that cleared, you're still wondering why your pod ain't going into either disk mode or diagnostic mode. Here's probably why:
My old, clickwheel 20GB pod can infact reset, disk mode, and diagnostic mode. According to Apple, you must reset your pod, then hold down the two buttons for whichever mode you want. I did this, and had no luck. For all you stumped fellows, try skipping the first step. In other words, when your pod is off, hold down |<< and Select without resetting. Same goes for disk mode.
Here's what my pod does, and what your pod may or may not do:
-Takes a really long time to go into disk mode, yet it's still possible.
-when attempting to connect to computer while in disk mode, it shows the normal "do not disconnect" screen, then reverts to the sad face.
-the HDD SCAN and HDD R/W SCAN don't work in diagnostic mode (Maybe they actually do, but I ain't waiting any longer).
-I've concluded that if you hear the whrring sound (sounds like the hard drive disk is struggling to spin properly, very quiet, must put pod close to your ear to hear it), your pod is "stuck" and won't do anything.
This mini-guide isn't a solution, but merely all of Apple's feeble advice put into words that iPod noobs can understand. So next time you read something like "try putting your iPod into disk mode, connect it, and hope it shows up in Disk Utility.". you'll be saying "it's not showing up!!" instead of "the sad face won't let me put it into disk mode!!"
hope this helps. Let's all do what we can to stop this problem.
    peace

    See if these help.
iPod shows only an Apple logo and doesn't start up.
Only the Apple logo appears when turned on.

  • E-R Design Capture for a Database.

    Hi.
I am using oracle 8.1.7, and all the tables for my application is owned by a user
    newscott.
Now I want to create E-R diagram for my application in other words reverse engineering.
which all tools I will need to do this.
and which steps I have to follow.
I will appreciate it very much for the
    help provided .

    Sachin,
The Design Editor is the place to start. Reverse engineer your tables into the Designer Repository. From there you can then do a table to entity retrofit. This is a simple one to one mapping and will require further manual work to arrive at the true logical data model.

  • Commands to Print Word Document in Reverse Order and Only Evens or Odds

I have an HP Photosmart printer that doesn’t have automatic duplex printing, so instead of manually printing the odds and then flipping the paper and printing the evens, I decided to write a script (I’m very new to script writing, so go easy on me):
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
print out active document print out page type print odd pages only
    end tell
display dialog "After the papers finish printing and after you place the papers back into the printer, rotated 180º, click OK." buttons {"OK"} ¬
default button "OK" with icon note
set the user_choice to the button returned of the result
if the user_choice is "OK" then
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
print out active document print out page type print even pages only
    end tell
    end if
The only things that are working are the printing and the dialog box. The odd pages and even pages scripts don’t seem to work (though I read this passage from Guy Hart-Davis’s +AppleScript: A Beginner’s Guide+ http://books.google.com/books?id=9uBeokAwNLsC&lpg=PA303&ots=ICfmxTfG-W&dq=apple% 20script%20print%20odd%20number%20pages&pg=PA303#v=onepage&q&f=false) and I can’t find any command that will print my even pages in a reverse order. Any help would be so much appreciated.

I believe I got the script to print the second round in reverse order, but I still can’t get it to print odd pages only and even pages only.
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    print out active document
    end tell
display dialog "After the papers finish printing and after you place the papers back into the printer, rotated 180º, click OK." buttons {"OK"} ¬
default button "OK" with icon note
set the user_choice to the button returned of the result
if the user_choice is "OK" then
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    print with properties {print reverse}
    end tell

  • Word order reversed for arabic locale in Flex 3

I have a "Flex Application" that uses flex builder 3. I want to add Arabic localization to this application, i.e., all the labels can be changed via ResourceBundle. I succeeded to see Arabic letters however the word order is reversed. Namely, the label "1 2 3" is shown as "3 2 1" if I switch the Arabic localization on. Is it possible to fix the problem without moving to Flex 4?

    Hi Lenvno,
You cannot programmatically change the register byte order.  You can select the option on an object by object basis when you are setting up your modbus ethernet objects.  In IA OPC server, select Object->Modify and select the modbus object you want to configure.  On the object configuration page click Advanced.  Here you will see an option for "Modicon 32-bit floating point order (0123 vs. 3210)".  This should be what you are looking for.

  • All words in reverse order - "mirror" effect

I have got N80 phone. Just upgraded to a new firmware from Nokia website via USB cable. Installation went perfect, no any failures or error. At the end i got all words in the phone in reverse order, actually with "mirror" effect.
The phone is working OK, i.e. i can call, receive calls etc. But all words and numbers in reverse ("mirror").
Please help. Does anybody have ideas?

As Korngear says - re-install as you have nothing to loose. However there are 1-2 postings in the forum about this happening on other phones. No real solutions offered there tho'.

  • Word 2008 Arabic script - not connected or reversed direction?

Hi - we have upgraded to Word 2008. My wife is studying Arabic. Now any typing in word does not connect the letters nor go in reverse direction. Have set the Keyboard to Arabic QWERTY. Also, when copy and pasting Arabic translations (eg from Google) they the paste looses character connections and order reverses. Pasting into MAIL comes out OK.

You are mistaken, MS Word for Mac has never supported Arabic. Only the Windows version can do it. You need to use another app. TextEdit that comes with OS X works, Mellel is the best.
