Work center change in Service order not happening

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem when i try to Call a function module in update task where the Function module contains a call to BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN without COMMIT WORK.
This is done in order to update the Work Center while there are changes to the Warranty Status of the Repair Order.
So , i have written the Code in the Userexit_SAVE_Document so that the Update gets done.
But there might be problems when the Repair order does not get saved.
So keeping that scenario in mind, I tried using the Update task Function Module in which i wil lbe calling the BAPI for Changing/Updating the Service order.
BUT , The Change is not getting reflected in the Work centre of the Service order.

Hai experts,
i have found the way to do the work center change in update task method .
I did call the BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but without using COMMIT since this function module is called in Update task method so whatever is the change being done by that BAPI will be reflected in the Service order once the Update task has been done for that service order.

Im glad the note worked -
To find the note , you could do a note search on the message IW056 you received and the support pack level you are on ..
For EHP5 the note is valid up to SAPKH60504.
The IW056 is listed as a keyword so if you search on it the note should be returned.

Pricing procedure picked up from the service order not from the contract

Hello, All
I am working on CRM 5.0 service order and service contract,
While creating a service order a popup screen shows that there is a contract which should be assigned, after assigning the contract an error message appears showing that a condition type is missing, the missing condition type is in the pricing procedure of the service order not in pricing procedure of the service contract
Note: I set the copy control for the item category to copy all the condition

Please check your pricing procedure settings and check for mandatory pricing condition.
Secondly, check the pricing agreement in the contract.

Work Center Changes need data for previous and new work center

Hi All,
I have a requirement as the organisation is going through RESTRUCTURING. In ECC in Plant Maintainance they are changing Work Center. E.G.
Work Center OLD : ABC
Work Center NEW : XYZ
Now the requirement is I have data for ABC already coming in BI Prod. Env. Now when they will change ABC to XYZ the new data will come for XYZ.
Reporting Reqmt:
Data In Cube
Work Center     No. of Maintainence Orders
ABC                             10
XYZ                             20
When user run the report it should and gives input in Work Center variable as " XYZ" then
XYZ -- 30
Presently it is showing
ABC --10
XYZ --20
They have list of OLD Work Center mapping to NEW Work Center.
Now, Can anyone tell me is it possible to achive this scenario.

Desc are 1 of those 2:
An account specified in the Run As profile "Microsoft.SQLServer.SQLDiscoveryAccount" cannot be resolved.
An account specified in the Run As profile "Microsoft.SQLServer.SQLDefaultAccount" cannot be resolved.
Okay, I am fine, I verify the RunAs account configuration and yes this is the problem... I was able to solve it for those SQL running servicec account using domain user account, I created the run as account, and assoistte it with SQL profiles,
and it is fine....
BUT, what about my 8 SQL Servers running SQL Service Account under System and Network accounts,
so how Can I add this coz I cannot target all objects,so what shall I target (Object Health Service or WHAT)?
Please I need it step by step coz I am not able to handle this issue....

If you have not distributed the Run As Account to a system, but we discovered SQL on it, you will see the error message.
This condition may have occurred because the account is not configured to be distributed to this computer. To resolve this problem, please distribute the account to this computer if appropriate. You can refer to the following blog to distribute the Run As

System Error Message CR082-Work center with ID 10000005 was not found

Hi SAP Gurus,
We are getting the error message 'Work center with ID 10000005 was not found' while our finance guys trying to do costing run for our two plants together. But when they run the costing for two plants seperately then it is working fine. Because of the business needs they have to do the costing run for both plants together.
"The description of the error is as follows:
System error: Work center with ID 10000005 was not found
Message no. CR082
Diagnosis
Internal error.
Procedure
Repeat the transaction.
If the error occurs and you have a CRM System connected to your ERP System, the document may have been archived in the CRM System.
If the error occurs again, inform your system administrator. If the error cannot be corrected, call the SAP Hotline directly. Describe which steps preceeded the error"
Any idea how to solve this issue.

Kindly check with following SAP note for Message No. CR082 :

Profit Center Substitution does not work in Invoicing of Service Orders

Hi experts.
While creating the Quotation (VA23) for Service Orders, the profit center field is populated with the correct profit center via substitution, but while creating the invoice, it is not being populated with any profit center, and hence this result in the posting being made into dummy profit center.
Could anyone please share some knowledge or info?

The PC from parent document always flows into the invoice....
Did you check the account assignment in your invoice VF01 or VF02.? Try to manually update the PC there and see if it posts in the document.. if not, you will have to put a break point in RV60AFZZ and check

I have an requirement to change the operation work center based on the service product in IW31/IW32 transaction. I am using the BAdi 'IM_SM_BADI_READT399A' for changing the main work center. It changes all the operation work centers except the first one. But I need to change it all the operations.

Accounting indicator not able to change after service order is released

Hi,
The accounting indicator cannot be changed anymore after a service order is released.
Does anyone know how to change this setting so that accounting indicator can be changed even after a service order is released?

I think you haven't done RA yet?
If a sales order has something called a Results Analyis Key and has status REL the system tries to settle whats called RA (results analysis also known as WIP). In this case you have not calculated RA but has an RA key and status REL. So technically there is nothing for the system to settle. You should either calculate RA (via KKA3) which he would have to customize or remove the RA Key from the "Account Assignment" tab on the item in VA42.

Network Service Order not working properly.

In System->Network->Set Service Order I have Thunderbolt Ethernet above Wi-Fi but this order doesn't seem to always be honoured.
Sometimes, it will use Wi-Fi even when TB Ethernet is connected and working.
OS X 10.8.5 on a 15" mid-2012 rMBP
Any ideas why? Known bug?

OK, after a couple of hours trawling through numerous threads about the TB->Ethernet adaptor I've found the answer. It's not a network problem per se, it's to do with the way network shares bind to network interfaces.
When a share mounts it searches for a network interface using the Service Order. As this is a laptop it invariably uses Wi-Fi as the TBE is usually not available. However, if a higher priority interface later becomes available, the share doesn't re-bind to this, it remains bound to the original interface.
The share will only bind to the new interface if either it is unmounted/remounted or the original interface goes away. So by turning off Wi-Fi it forces it onto the TBE (and Wi-Fi could be turned back on straightaway).
This also explains why, when I deleted the plist file you suggested, it appeared to work at first but this was only because the TBE was connected when I restarted my computer.
I don't know whether this is considered "standard" or "normal" behaviour for a network share or whether it's a bug - or just poor design - by Apple. As a user, i would want network activity to always use the fastest interface available.

Work Center Mandatory in PM Order

May i know how can i make Mandatory, both Work center (Mn.wk.ctr) Under Person Responsible sub screen and the work center ( WkCtr/Plnt ) under first Operation sub screen of the Header TAB in PM Order.

Hi,
The Work Center (CAUFVD-VAPLZ) field under 'Person Responsible' should always be mandatory as it is hardcoded.
The Work Center (AFVGD-ARBPL) of operation can be set with transaction OIOPD. If the 'work center' field is not available in OIOPD, then see the correction from note [1282463|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1282463].

Dyanmic work center selection in production order based on material

Hi ALL,
We’ve a business requirement to support the following functionality.
There are four similar type of milling machines say MILL1 MILL2, MILL3, MILL4, we create a single work center called MILLMC by specifying total capacity of four milling machines in the capacity header screen of work center with 4 individual capacities. And we mention work center MILLMC in the operation of routings for respective materials.
However, during production order creation, there needs to be provision for detailed planning of work centers as per the following requirements
In production order, some operations can be performed on any one of the machines MILL1 MILL2, MILL3, MILL4, so provision needs to be there to enter exact machine on which it is performed in the production order operation after the details are copied from respective routing during production order creation.
In production order, some operations can be performed on only MILL3, so system should select only MILL3 in the respective operation of the production order
In production order, some operations can be performed on either MILL1 or MILL2 or MILL4 and not on MILL3, so system should not select MILL3 in the respective operation of the production order.
Please provide your valuable feedback to support the above requirements.

There are two options:
1. Change the workcentre in Routing and do Read PP master data which will pick up the current Workcentre (Provided no Goods Movements are carried out on order). The status of the order will be changed from REL to CRTD.
2. Manually change the Workcentre in Order.
