Workbook selection screen shown diffent value than its query selection scre

My work book contents only one query.
But the selection screen of work book gives me pop-up as 45.2008 for calweek as default value while my query was showing me 04.2009 is value of my current calendar week.

When you say pop - up, do you mean the variables screen?
Are you saying that the variable has a default value of 45.2008? Is it a Customer Exit / SAP Exit variable or an input variable?

You can code your own search help procedure for this. To achieve this, first you should add the block:
e.g.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST FOR p_sobid.
Within this block you can use the standard FM "RH_OBJID_REQUEST" to call the standard HR help list for objects conditionally.

Selection screen modification based on various buttons in selection screen

Hi,
I have 1 query related with Selection screen modification.
In my Report Program,I have created GUI Status for my selection screen
Now 2 buttons in application toolbar are coming on selection sceen.
For this i used,'At selection screen output' event.
And there are 2 blocks on selection screen.
If user press button1 then block2 should not display.
and if user press button2 then block1 should not display.
but the problem is i m not getting reqd result and also while doing debugging its not showing me sy-ucomm value.
Any pointers on this.

Selection screen block is invisable when radiobutton is selected

i am sending the my code...........my requerment is : Radiobutton(rb_cdr1)   is checked donu2019t show the Fourth & Sixth block and no output files will be generated in those respective blocks. Only Show option a & b in the Fifth block. If the Radio button in unchecked donu2019t show the options a & b in the Fifth block)

Validate a field on selection screen based on value entered on anothr field

HI,
There is a program with some fields in selection screen in EWM. The first field is Warehouse. I need to add another field 'Entity to Dispose' in such that what ever value I enter in Warehouse field, its corresponding values should only be displayed as F4 help for 'Entity to Dispose' field.
For eg: If I select the warehouse as 0799(lets say), then the F4 help for Entity to Dispose field should display only the values which are related to warehouse 0799 (and any other values pertaining to other warehouse should not appear).
Could anyone suggest, how this can be achieved?

You can use FM
DYNP_VALUES_READ
DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE
to read the another field value and Using that field build your internal table for f4 values.
and use FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST for F4 values..
do this on AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST FOR <YOUR_F4_FIELDNAME>.

Submit a report program with same selection screen with some values exclude

Dear All,
I have to submit a stndard report program from a copied zprogram with same slection screen values ,
and in some slect-options some values will be excluded depending upon the zprogram.
How to make it.
I mean when i submit , same selction screen values should go along with , depending upon some condions i have to exclude some values .
for ex: selection screen from a to b
posting date should go same
but may be along with it i have to pass movem,ent type <> 202 to the submit screen ,.
how to do this?

Use BT ( between ) operator for 200 to 250 :

And use NE ( not equal ) operator to exclude 202 and 203 :

It works just this way.

No I don't think there is way to do it without writing one by one
but you may not specify for empty select-options.

Dynamic selection screen fetching the value from table fields

hi gurus,
i have one table say ztable...and i should create a dynamic selection screen which should populate the selection screen by the table field names.
example..if i have 3 fields im my table..my selection screen should have three selection option fields..and in future if i add one more field in my table it should automatically create another slection-option in selection screen..

Do you mean like SE16 works. If so, you should notice that if you amend the selection fields, the screen program is actually re-generated.
That is what is happening. A program is being created and re-generated.
To create a dynamic selection screen in a single program is not possible ( I may be wrong ). If it is possible, then you would have problems in defining selection screen field names and using them.

Selection screen modification in case of SAP Query

I want to modify the selection screen in a standard progam.
This program is getting generated through SAP QUERY.
i want to modify some fields and also delete some fields in the
selection screen. All these fields which i want to modify or delete
are the logical database fields.So i can't do it through the t-code SQ01
and SQ02. Also this is a program generated through the SAP QUERY,
so i can't modify the generated code. Request if any one of you can suggest me to solve this.

Selection screen validation in HR ad hoc query

I have created a query in SQ01. My infoset is created using Logical database PNPCE. Selection criteria contains Fields Personnel Number and Employment status. so when the query will be run, I want to display error message if invalid personnel number or Employment status is entered. Calling the selection screen of report with data for the selection field

I have the selection screen with 2 fileds.
sales order and payment terms.
My requirement is to update the payment terms into the ztable for the given order.
Sometimes the payment terms will be there ie already maintained ,in that case i need to show to the user the existing payment term ,so that he can modify and save that one.If the payment term is not existing then simply i can go inside the program and update the payment term.
What I thought of doing is , writing a report program and then after the user inputs the selection screen ie order number , I Will check in the ztable and if the payment terms is found then i will use the key word leave list processing. But i dont know how to populate the payement term in the selection screen oncegaing from the program

Selection Screen pop up issue - with jump query RRI

Hi Experts,
I am facing one issue regarding Jump Query(RRI) functionality.
I have one query and also one drill down query.
I need to jump from the first query to the drill down query.
To achieve this , I have added the first query as sender in RSBBS T-Code and added the drill down query as Receiver.
I have also done the variable assignment from the Assignment Details tab.
Now the Jump functionality is working.
But , whenever I am jumping to the receiver query , The selection screen pop up is appearing.
I don't want this selection screen to appear during jump.
Please help me in this regard.

For testing purpose , I have used a single query as sender as well as receiver query.
So , the characteristics set is same.
The query is a simple query, with only one input variable.
and I have assigned it, from variable assignment.
But still the selection screen pop up is coming , when trying to jump.

hi i have an ipod touch 2nd generation i dont update it to often cause i have very very slow iternet and it can take up to 4 hours and i dont have the time to update it but the bottom list of apps i dont know what its called but i think its the app bar is way higher than normal i dont know why the only app i really use is pandora i dont know if that helps

By default, selection optoins are RANGES, therefore to fill these before display, in the INITIALIZATION section
CLEAR: so_field, so_field[].

If you want ranges
CLEAR: so_field, so_field[].

Selection screen variant default value

Hi,
I have a hidden parameter defined of type sy-slset to store the current selected variant. Now how do i make sure that this parameter will contain the actual variant name now matter whether the program is executed in background or foreground.

when you run the program in background using SM37 the dynamic varint will get created.
You might have storing the variant in the custom table.
First you maintain the entry for the particular vairant in the custom table.
Then you run the program in background using TCode- SM36 for the particular variant.
The particular fields for the variant will get maodified in th custom table.
Hope this will solve your issue.
