Workflow emails not sent

Hi
We have around 740 unsent emails. I would like to know how to go about investigating this.
I have asked the client if any other emails are getting through (still wait for the answering)
I would like to know this.
I have read Note 304436.1 but dont think it will be relevant for this.
Thank,

Please mention the details of the application release, database version and OS.
Can you find any errors in the database log file?

    Hi,
According to your description, I find that there is a single user cannot send email.
I suggest using Outlook on Windows machine and sending emails via this single user to verify whether the emails can be sent.
If the single user can send email via Outlook on Windows machine, it seems an issue on the Mac side.
I suggest asking Outlook for Mac Forum for help so that we can get more professional suggestions.
    For your convenience:

If can't send emails in Outlook, it seems an issue on the single user side.
I suggest trying to access the single user's mailbox via OWA to verify whether the mailbox has been migrated completely.
    Thanks
    Mavis

  • Email not sent when rejecting time

Email not sent when rejecting time in approval view in MSS.
Works when done in CATS_APPR_LITE, but not from MSS approval view.
Have checked user email in su01, SMTP config in SCOT, and verified with SOST.
    Nothing in the default.trc log.
Any clues on how to proceed locating the error ?

check the MSS profile being used, there you have a setting
    If I reject the
time in UWL and made sure that the Profile has the field
(V_CATS_APPR_CUST-SEND_MAIl) is active, then the Notification message
is available in the SBWP for the employee.

  • BPEL Workflow email not stored in database!

    Hi,
I'm using SOA Suite 10.1.3.4. I have a worklist application where notifications are sent to Assignees, Approvers when the action is Assign or Approve. The mails are delivered as expected. But there is not trace of emails sent. I checked WFNOTIFICATION in ORABPEL Schema. The tables are empty.
Could anyone help me in fixing this issue.
    1. Why email notification sent are not stored in database?
    2. Is there any other means that we can track the email sent?
    3. Do we need to configure in SOA server to store the email notifications in the database.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Issue_ Email not sent when using SMTP ICloud outgoing

I have issue with sending email from my Ipad Icloud account  where emails are seen as sent inmy Iclould Sent folder but they are effectively  not sent, or at least not received by target recepient.
I have done a bit of troubleshootingh and the issue seems to be related to ICloud SMTP outgoing server; If I disable SMTP ICloud outgoing Serveur and use an alternate SMTP server then sending emails resumes correctly.
So it looks like emails get stuck along the line in the Icloud SMTP server.
    Any Advice ?
    Thank You,
    Anouk

  • Troubleshooting email not sent in nurture campaign

    Hi,
I've set up a simple test flow to test my forms, emails and segmentation before activating the real nurture flow. The flow works fine until the last step where have not received the last email yet.
My contact can be found in the segmentation fulfilling the two criteria in the filter that I have set up however the email is still not sent. I have not included any wait action and the segmentation adds contacts regularly (set to every 1h).
    What might be the issue?
How can I troubleshoot this and understand why the email is not sent?

    Hi Daniel,
The issue could be at the contact-level (e.g. invalid email address, globally unsub, email group-level unsub, email has been sent to them before) or at the email-level (e.g. email is missing group, issue with a field merge, etc.).
The Email Element in the Canvas should display a green bubble with the excluded members and upon double-clicking this green bubble, each row will contain the Reason for Exclusion in the right-most column.
You can test the email by Test-Sending or 'Send to a Contact' to confirm there are no issues with the email.
You can review the contacts that were excluded to see if the issue is with their subscription status(es) or email address.
If none of these factors are applicable, then your best bet would be to contact Eloqua Technical Support at 1-800-223-1711 (be sure to have your CSI handy if you have yet to register).
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    ~Ali

  • Email not sent with entry not in queue status in SOST

    Hi,

  • Facetime validation email not sent

When adding an email address to Facetime, it says that an email with a verification link has been sent ("This alias is unverified. An email with a verification link has been sent to the above email address."). But as far as I can see, no emails are sent. I've tried pressing the Resend Validation Email button several times, but no luck. And my spam folder is empty.
    Any suggestions?

  • Email not sent to external email id

    Hi All,
We have a particular user who is not receving the email notifications/ reminders to approve leaves on his lotus notes id.
Its only this particular user who is having this problem.
If i trace the workflow (leave sbmitted by his subordinates) the  sending notification task has completed status but in SOST there is no record of a mail sent.
Have checked SU01 the user has an email address maintained both in ESS and R/3.
As per config SO16 - home address is selected.
In the profile his external email id is selected as home address.
what should i check next to sort out the issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Swati Sahu

    Hi Swati,
Try to maintain an auto-forwarding email address for this user using transaction SO36 and check if that solves your problem.

  • Outlook email not sent and not in sent items

We've been experiencing this 'phenomenon' for several weeks. Randomly, different users believed to have sent email when no email was ever sent. In fact no trace in our Exchange logs either. Each had a random window in which any email sent just disappeared.
It never made it to sent items and never made it to our exchange server. All with no Outlook errors and appearing to functioning normally thereafter.
In one case a user had discovered an entire days worth of mail had unknowingly not been sent and was not found in the sent items folder.
These installations are on new machines, Outlook 2013 (o365) and Windows 8.1 with all updates applied. For one it happened on the first day and for others it happened a few weeks later.
Everything I find on the web seems to lead to nowhere because it can't be reproduced and once discovered, if ever discovered at all, it's too late.
Up to now we've only disabled cached mode and are waiting to see if it re-occurs but it will only be when someone actually notices it.
    Anyone else seeing this?
    Shawn

    Hi
As per the information and details provided by you, to solve the issues with Outlook send emails, please follow these steps: -
In Outlook 2013, emails are not send may be because of the following reasons: -
A message is stuck because it has a large attachment.
You open a message or view Outlook while emails are waiting to be sent.
Wrong or changed password for the email account.
Incorrect settings, account not properly authenticated with the email server.
Outlook is set to work offline or the mail server is offline.
No email account is set as default.
Use of software that accesses Outlook data files (.pst or .ost)
Antivirus or anti-spam software is scanning your outgoing email.
Enable the Save copies of messages in the Sent Items Folder option by following the steps below for your version of outlook:
    Click
    File > Options.
    In the
    Outlook Options > Mail.
    Under the
Save Messages section, enable the Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder option.
    Click
    OK.
I hope this information will be helpful for you.

  • Calendar invitation emails not sent

When I add an event in my calendar (using the regular calendar app on my iPhone 5) and add invitees, the email to invite the people is not being sent. So all my events show "no reply" for all of the invitees.  It used to send an email and I would receive accept/decline responses.  Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Talk to your e-mail provider. You don't bother telling us who that is, so we can't even begin to guess.

  • UTL_SMTP - researching emails not sent/received

    Hello,
Through an Apex app, a stored pl/sql procedure is called which builds a pl/sql procedure into the body
of an email and emails the built procedure to the user of the app.
This is based on data already stored in the tables. Primarily, building several INSERT statements from this data.
    The stored procedure invokes utl_smtp.
Problem: 100% of the time, when certain rows of data are queried to be included in the email, the email
never makes it to the intended recipient.
A test version of the procedure was built to try to capture any data exceptions or smtp exceptions.
The exceptions were never raised and the procedure seems to end correctly.
The data being retrieved are used by other applications and do not seem to be causing any other issues.
What else can I check, related to smtp, that would give a clue as to why these
certain emails are not being sent and/or received?
    Thank You

  • Bulk email not sent by me (to Germany/Switzerland)

I have just got back from hols to find that it seems that my email address (not me) has been sending multiple emails to addresses in germany and switzerland.  I keep getting emails from Mail Delivery Service saying that various recipients of my message (eg [email protected]; [email protected]) have failed to receive my messages - what is wrong ?  Looking at my bulk email folder shows there have been a number of these over the last 2-3 weeks.  I did not send them.  How can I stop this ?  Have I been hacked ?  Thanks in advance

You may or may not have been hacked.
Are you migrated to BTMail yet or still on BTYahoo mail?
    The problem could be:
1.random spoofing of your email address, because someone either knows it or guessed it or automatically generated it, but there has been no hack of your email. Action required - none.
2.malware on your own device/computer which has got your details, and then harvested data and used its own methods to send email spoofing your address.
The same effect can occur when ANYONE else who has your email address suffers a security breach of either their webmail or their computer/device and has their contacts/address books harvested for data. Particularly a problem when people insist on putting you in the TO: or Cc: field of round-robin chain emails so a hundred other people get sent your email address by a mutual "friend".
Action required - full virus check with your own up to date AV program but also an online one like malwarebytes.com, preferably one that is good at finding spyware as well as viruses. Not infallible. Even if you get an all clear, repeat it a week or more later, as the security software may spot it when it has new definitions loaded. But you can't stop the spam being sent.
    3. compromise of your webmail interface by a hacker - this was a big problem on the Yahoo! mail interface and has been extensively covered in the press. BTYahoo customers were also affected. Again - there's nothing you can do - but if you prove your account HAS been hacked via the webmail interface, then change both the password and the security questions and keep records of both the old answers and the new ones, somewhere safe on a piece of paper in case the system mangles your changes then locks you out.
If you are a BTYahoo mail user you can check who has been logging in to your account and where from, using this link
    https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.intl=us&.src=ymbr&.partner=&.pd=&.done=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.login...
and entering the email address you want to check along with its password.
If you find that the IP address section shows for example, a mobile login in from somewhere in the Ukraine, then you've been compromised. (unless you went to the Ukraine recently on holiday!!!)
