Hi,
In my workflow i want to call one report in bor object i want to create method can any body tell me what are the attributes of method that i have to create or any other solutions

First you have to Implement the Objectype Components , I mean you have to first come from Bottom to TOP
EDIT->Change Release Status> Object Type Components ---> To be Implmented (from Bottom to Top) Except the Object type
Now Click on the Business Object and the again
EDIT->Change Release Status> Object Type---> To Be IMplemented
Now once you have IMplemented every thing you need to Release them
From Top to BOttom
Click on the Business Object and the again
EDIT->Change Release Status> Object Type---> To Be Released
On Key fields and methods
EDIT->Change Release Status> Object Type Components ---> To be Released
And after this you have to generate
this is how you have to implement and release and GEnerate the BO

Calling report program to my workflow method

I have writen the logic to find the email id for travel admin now i want to call this REPORT program to my workflow method. How can i do that. I know how to do that in function module but i want to try with report program. How to get the import and export parameter in the report program. I know there is some thing called memory id export but i dont no how to do that. Can any one show with sample code.

You can make use of the following sample code.
BEGIN_METHOD ' ' CHANGING CONTAINER.
export itab to memory id 'PQR'.
submit zMM_R_BUDJETDISP AND RETURN."exporting list to memory and return.
END_METHOD.
In your program you can use
import itab from memory ID 'PQR'.
Here Itab is a internal table.
Similarly you can define single data elements as well.
you can use this syntax to import, export parameters.

Last System.out.println statement only displays second, forth, sixth, eigth, tenth and null lines. Why not every line? Any ideas? Thanks!

You do relize that when you call the in.readLine() in your loop conditional and in your loop body it reads in diffrent lines. Try this:

Every time you call the readLine method, it does read a diffrent line. Java does not know you want to read the same line twice.
Tried it, did not work. I need to go through each line of the file I have. Any ideas?

Workflow and problems with labels

Hello!
I've been testing out some things in Edge and I've noticed a few things that I've been trying to find some documentation and information about, I would greatly appreciate any enlightenment on the following observations:
Frame labels do not work for me - both with files created from scratch in Edge and ones made of existing HTML + CSS files. I tried the in app lesson on looping the counter and the 'Play from (loop)' doesn't work, I thought it might have been because of an error in the instructions telling users to play from a frame label that exists at the same point in the timeline where there is a 'stop' trigger but even offsetting the 'loop' label would not work. The final sample file works as intended when previewed.
I tried a few tests with new files consisting of really basic stuff - one symbol with an 'on-click' > play from (go/start/in/one/etc) and another symbol simply animated on the x and y axis with an animation to the opacity with a stop trigger placed on the timeline and tested with the play from label placed both at the same time as the stop trigger and offset after the trigger - neither works it has no effect when clicked. (I know about what scripts to do on completion to get it to play from the start) Interestingly play from (milliseconds*) *0.125/1001/2000000 etc does work for me but this is not ideal as it is far more useful to be able to play from labels.
Animating existing HTML - I've got a simple html page set up consisting of a container div with a number of other divs inside which I have been animating in Edge. The Edge file is set up so the container CSS overflow is hidden. Now can someone please clarify if the following method of workflow is a mistake on my part, limitation in HTML+DOM, bugs in edge or combination/none of those things?
Workflow - bring in the html file to edge do simple animated opacity etc on the various elements start adding keyframes and labels etc - the label problems as above. Now my intent is to have each of the div's in the container be clicked on and bring in the next one - in the same place in the viewport. I've noticed that when changing various elements visibility after tweaking animation to look good and then subsiquently setting on-off keyframes for visibility it would suddenly cause all elements lower in the DOM to move position and suddenly have what looked like keyframes for y axis position/transform? Is this bad practice to use the on-off visibility for elements? It meant that what should be a really simple and quick 10 second animation took about 3 hours to make, should we be not using the on-off keyframes for showing/hiding buttons that are in divs that sit on top of each other? Should i set up z-index values for all elements in the CSS files? (I saw a reference to you can assign z-index values in the 'elements' panel but I can only see 'arrange' - is this a different term for z-index?)
I'm a long time user of flash, maya, after effects, digital fusion, combustion, and many other timeline based software tools - it is fairly intuitive to me picking up new systems but the issues with on-off visibility and keyframes below in the timeline really was a very frustrating workflow. I'm used to changing and editing the whole animation on the timeline seeing what works and doesn't - deleting layers, changing timings etc, i found this way of working really slow due to changes to elements position when ones above in the flow were turned on or off. Please do suggest what I should change in my approach to using edge as compared to other animation tools as it looked great on preview but I'm a bit frustrated in using the release. Is this a bug in my release?
Where is the help and reference files for Edge? - is this screen shot it? -
I can't find any info on basic definitions of the tools and options anywhere, and can't find much on anything to do with using edge in production with existing HTML documents, please send me some links if you have them. I've seen the edge javascript API thing but is there anything else?

Hi,
I wonder if it's related to the multilingual capability of BPM Object presentations.
Could you:
1. right mouse click the project in the Project Navigator tab.
2. click "Project Preferences"
3. click "Languages"
Do you see multiple languages? Is English (or whatever language you're using inside Studio) the default?
When you log into the WorkSpace, could you double check the language you are using (log in -> click "Settings" in the upper right corner) -> with the "Display" tab selected, is the language you chose as the default in Studio selected?
I suspect the reason you see some but not all of the labels is because you have defined some of those labels in the language selected in the Workspace. You can add the addtional labels for the various languages you want to support if you:
1. Open a presentation
2. Click one of the labels
3. In the properties tab on the right, click the field beside the "Display" property
4. Click the button with the "..." on the right side of this field

Workflow triggering problems

Hi all,
I have a puchase order release workflow ,and have activated the triggering in tcode pftc,but the problem is ,every time I create a purchase order the workflow triggering gets deactivated and have to manually activate it after each Purchase Order creation or change.
Does anyone have a clue as to what may cause this problem?

I tried changing the method but it still throws the same error. i dont think this error is related to the Task method , since it can also be a dummy method (as is the case with the leave approval workflow 12300111) .

Currently we transported our workflows to production server. When one of the user tested our workflow it failed. On Analysis I could find that the data are not passed from method to task container but method is working fine separately. Even I tried executing t-code 'SWU_OBUF' , but still not working.
Pls let me know of the solution .

Check for linkages. Is the binding activated betwwen workflow to task container.
Check whether values appear in task container or not.
Then check for binding between task & method container. Is there any event linked with the task. Is the event linkage is activated.
The problem might be resolved if all the linkages are correct.

Workflow initiator problem

Hi friends,
In my workflow, I have created one activity for reason for rejection and I am using task(TS20000139) for sending short message with reason and in binding I am passing wofkflow initiator(&_WF_INITIATOR&) to receiver(&RECEIVER&). But the problem is workflow initiator is not pickingup exact user name. If the username is 'STEVE' it is picking 'USSTEVE', because of this it is showing an error that user does not exists. If I remove that 'US' my problem will get solved. Plz suggest me.

hi,
when u create an activity step, double click on the step.
in the "task" section, click on the dropdown, then click on create task option.
this will take you to the task creation screen.
ih the object method section, select object category as "BOR object type", object type as your BO name (eg: BUS2012), and method as the name of the method that you created in your BO.
you can create your custom method in a custom BO.
this can be done using transaction SWO1.
enter the BO name and change button.
click on the method and then click on the create button. then it will ask you to create with FM as template. click No.
give a name to the method and dont forget to uncheck the "dialog" property of the method.
save it.
click on the newly created method and click on parameters button. specify the input and output parameter.
again click on the newly created method and click on program. here you can perform the string operation.
once all this is done click on the method. goto Edit -> change release status -> object type component -> to implemented.
then click on the generate button. (red and white coloured button).

WDA - Workflow Integration Problem...

I mean, is there any Standard Workflow that calls ABAP Web Dynpro Application?
Actually, I am able to call the ABAP WD Application using SWFVISU application, but the only problem is...HOW CAN I SEND DATA FROM WORKFLOW CONTAINER TO WD ABAP ?
Did anyone get to work in this area? If so, can you help me in giving me an idea of how to do this.
I am trying to get the Workitem number from UWL inside my WD Application, but I am unsuccessful...Did any one tried doing this...???
I achieved the same in JAVA WD Applications using

This WDProtocolAdapter extracts the WI number from UWL inside my JAVA WD Application.
Is there any such class in ABAP also which does the same?

Hi Rajasekhar,
The WDA program that you want to integrate with workflow has a window with input plug "DEFAULT". Add "WI_ID" as a parmeter to the handler method of the plug.
You can now use that parameter directly in the handler method as the WID is passed as
parameter from the UWL.

Another asynchronous workflow method question

Hi all.
Your previous post on this topic was great people!!
Right now I have a problem with an asynchronous method, on concrete words, is the method from object BUS2081, method EDIT.
I've created a task based on that method and I have put some terminating events on that task but looking at the WF log on runtime, the task is only waiting for some of the events and ignoring just the ones i need. I don't know what the problem is because i have configured the events exactly on the same way....any idea of what is happening?
I've solved this incidence including some parallel branches awaitiing for the events, so I'm "faking" in some way the "asynchronous" task, but this is a cheap trick...

I have a quick question regarding the BUS2081 - EDIT method.
I'm using the Edit method with terminating events as POST, Delete, Park and Complete.
Assume I have workflowed the invoice for GR missing scenario once its is done I will try and Post the Invoice document if it still has errors (say Price mismatch)then I want to Repark the document using the ' Save park document' icon.
As there will be errors I can't do 'Save as Completed'.
Here I can't Repark the document until I Complete it.....:( I don't know how to handle this situtation.

Workflow Binding Problem

     I have to customize standard Leave Application workflow WS12300111. for that i have copied this workflow into new Z-workflow. Actually i have to fetch some data from custom infotype before sending this leave to approver.
    Now this WS12300111 is based on Class(CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS) not on BO and to fetch custom Infotype data I have created custom BO and written method inside this BO.
The problem i am facing is i need to export a parameter from workflow container to my BO's method container and data type of that element is of Table Type (PTREQ_ITEMS_WF_TAB_FLAT) and in method it is not allowing me to create elements with reference to this Table type (there is no Option to create element using ABAP Dictionary type As it is in Workflow container). If i define my method element using Line type if this PTREQ_ITEMS_WF_TAB_FLAT then it allows me to create that element (B'coz line types are basically structures) But it gives me Datatype mismatch error in Binding from Task to Method...
   So is there any way to achieve this?? or should I create a Z-Class as subtype of standard Class CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS and then write a new Method in this subtype Z-class to read custom infotype. Is this the way to achieve the delegation functionality of BO in Class.

    What your are trying to achieve with custom infotype. As far as i concern you can use employeet business object to get all the details. customize this busniess object and write your logic here or you can customize the class which you have mentioned. There is nothing like delegation for class. But i dont know in which method u will write the code. Since the leave request going to apply from portal dont do any customization of this class. Try to use the business object EMPLOYEET. I have done leave request workflows i never done any thing in this class.

Using Calendar.set() method problem

Hi all,
First of all sorry to bother with such a trivial(?) matter but I cannot solve it by myself.
I have a piece of code which I simply want to handle the current date with the GregorianCalendar object so that the date would be set to the Calendar.SUNDAY (of the current week). Simple enough?
Code as follows:

This should work at least accoring to my understanding of the SDK documentation as follows with

Which is the sunday of this week. But as I run the same code with:

Which is sunday of the previous week and incorrect in my opinion. The latter result is run on HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/800 and first on NT.

The problem is that I have to work with this older SDK version. :) But I got it solved by using the roll method with the following syntax:
int delta = [dayToSet] - m_calendar.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK);
in which the delta is of course the difference (negative or positive to the current day of the week)
and then using the roll call:
m_calendar.roll(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK, delta);
which doesn't alter the current week. So this works if someone else has a similar problem with the version 1.3.1

What I did so far...
1) In Transaction "bsp_WD_CMPWB" I choosed Component "BP_ADDR" and created a copy in our "Z_CRM" EnhancementSet
2) I used the right Mousebutton to Enhance the "BP_ADDR/StandardAddress" View
Two things had been automatically generated/created...
- Table Contents BSPWD_CMP_C_REPL
- Object ZL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRES_CTXT
3) I doubleclick on the enhanced View "BP_ADDR/StandardAddress"
    (-> In the "View Layout" node the StandardAddress.html is still using the Super Classes / Implementation Class CL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRES_CN01 )
4) If I go to Implemetation Class CL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRESS_CN01
5) Select method "GET_P_E_MAILSMT" (and look into the coding)
   The enhancement Functions there are not working for meu2026
   I tried the Button with the (Sprial / helix)
   and the Menu "Edit"-> "Enhancement Operations"
Where is my error?! (I think I have to create a ZClass for the CL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRES_CN01?!?!? But how to???)
I will give all possible points for good answers

hi,
Some times I also faced problems to create Zclass for standard ones. But you can do one trick to create Zclass.
Try to create one dummy attribute in your context node, then it will creates automatically Zclass for that node. Later you can delete that attribute.
If you get any problems to create P-getter method, then copy the IF_BSP_WD_MODEL_SETTER_GETTER~_GET_P_XYZ template method and rename to GET_P_E_MAILSMT.

Multiple Payment Methods problem in F110 - Parameters

<b>Prob : Wehn I enter more than one payment method in Parameters in F110 only the 1st Payment method entered is saved. The other payment method gets deleted automatically.</b>
Following is already done :
1. All the payment methods entered in F110 Parameters is already maintained in
the vendor master.
2. In FBZP - Payment Method for Country & Payment Method for Company Code
is configured for all the payment methods.
3. Also Invoices in FI (FB60) are posted for all the payment methods without any
errors.
4. Ranking order is maintained for each payment method & for the house bank
used.
5. Account determination is also maintained for all the payment methods for the
respective house bank.
6. The maximum amount is also maintained for all the payment methods under "Payment Methods for Comapany Code".
Pl help to resolve this problem.

My problem is in the parameter stage 1st Screen.
Also you cannot assign more than one Payment Method in the Print Variant.
Also this variant is used only for printing. Its not called at the stage when I am entering the Payment Method in the 1st screen in the Parameter.
I have somewhat found out what the problem is.
I guess there is some change done in the standard SAP program, becuase if i type more than one payment method in the Parameter 1st screen and try to save it, it returns with a warning message "Only one Payment Method can be entered". This is a unique msg which has been written through a Z Program.
