Workflow /opt/ws_101 is not finalizing

Hello Every Body,
I am using some Bapi's in order to post documents for MIRO and F-47 transactions from VIM. By the way, I am using a call transaction in order to post FB65 documents. When I post a FB65 document, the Work Flow /OPT/WS_101 is working ok and when I look for my document in the /OPT/VIM_ANALYTICS transaction is Ok, my document status is POSTED and the Work Flow's status is COMPLETED. But when I post a MIRO or F-47 document and I look for the document in the /OPT/VIM_ANALYTICS transaction, the document's status is DOCUMET CREATED and the Work Flow's status is IN PROCESS. I need that the Work Flow's status be COMPLETED for the 3 cases.

You can first test the WF with simple start condition like
creation date >= today
also remove the currency is there in 'default currency'.
if still the WF is not working as desired
check whether the workitem no is present in BBP_PD for that SC.
this will be shown in WF section of BBP_PD.
WF should be also correctly chosen.
lastly you can check the activation or verison issues of WF in
SWDD

Own workflow process step (java) not listed in the generic Process step component

Based on the description Extending Workflow Funtionality I have used this sample to create a bundle with the CRXDE Development Environment. Almost just copying the code from the page (had to make some adjustments to correct program errors in this sample) an then build bundle. According to Note 2 this program should be seen in the list supplied by Process step Component when editing a workflow. But it is not there.

Ulrich,
CRXDE does not support the Java annotations which are listed in the documentations. When you want to leverage CRXDE (which is for development ... discouraged), you need to migrate to JavaDoc style annotations.
For documentation how you can setup a development workflow based on a Java IDE and maven please see [0].

Workflow issue - Main workflow container elements are not updated.

Hi All
We have implemented N-step badi for approval process and for this we have activated one workflow which contains subworkflow .
During approval process , only the subworkflow container elements( approver list and last approver) getting updated with status and time.But main workflow container elements is not updating with these details.
Binding between main workflow and subworkflow is perfect. But reverse binding ( from subworkflow -> main workflow ) will take place once subworkflow is completely finished. But here we will require / need to pass some information from sub workkflow to main workflow when still subworlflow in process( before completed itself).
Please let me know is there any process / steps is required to pass values between subworkflow to main workflow ( binding is perfect).
Please let me the way how I can update the main workflow container from subworkflow container or from any step in sub workflow .
In subworkflow . we have loop of approvers and it will send workitems to approvers one by one.
Here i need to update Main workflow with the information like last approver and approver list with status and approved time.
So please suggest how Can I update main workflow container from subworkflow while subworkflow is still in process( subworkflow not yet completed).

Yes I am setting SWC_SET_ELEMENT for my container values,the ones for which i have defined as EXPORT.
And I have checked the task also...
Everything has been checked properly..The binding is fine.

Panasonic DMR EZ37V, dvd don;t work , DVD are not finalized

We have a Panasonic DMR EZ37V that will no longer play DVDs. We want to get another DVD recorder, but want to know if DVD's not finalized on our machine will work on another company's DVD player-recorder

To answer your question, however...
I'm inclined to say yes, but I'll admit I'm guessing. Take an un-finalized disc to the store and ask to play it. They won't have a problem doing that for you if it earns your business. Good luck.

Workflow notification mailer is not getting started and its showing status starting.I have tried to bounce the service componets still its showing starting.My application version is 12.0.6 and OS is AIX.I got a metalink reference"Notification Mailer Does Not Start, Remains In Status Starting [ID 371830.1]".Since its a Productin instance can we try it??Please suggest.Couldnt understand what will be the impact of updating wf_event_subscriptions.Please suggest/help...

Workflow Process Manager - Could not route message to WfProcMgr with regist

Hi,
We recently started getting a strange error in our DEV environment:
Could not route message to WfProcMgr with registered key (null)
This is happening with the Server Component, Workflow Process Manager, and all services associated with this.
We are using Siebel v7.8.2.8. If anybody can provide any pointers, it would be of great help!

The target workflow that I am triggering from the WfProcMgr is a custom workflow and it does not have a BO defined. So, the Object Id should not be a mandatory field (I am in any case, not passing any Object Id). Nevertheless, whether I have an Object Id or I do not, I would assume that the Workflow would at least get triggered. I donot see as to why the Workflow would not trigger at all.
Though Siebel does act weird at times, I think the error I am getting is still somehow related to the actual cause! I would really like to understand as to where is this Registered Key stored in Siebel that it is continually searching for.
*When you say "Workflow Process Manager server component directly" do you mean like in a eScript
call in e.g. a Business Service?*
Please refer the second part of my previous post for this. I am trying through Server Requests BS and through Workflow Policies.

Workflow for BO BUS1001006 not retreiving plantu2666

I have activated a workflow for material creation using BO BUS1001006 .
It works fine , but the problem is it does not give me the plant details.
My requirement is that i have to send the plant of the material created /changed.
hope you offer quick solutions.

Hi Martina,
If you have done that then you are almost on the verge of completion!
Follow this binding procedure between the task container and the method container and get the results.
In the BO method, add an output parameter that would store the plant detail.
Now create a data element in the method code of the same type as plant detail type.
Then use swc_set_element to store the value of the plant detail in the output parameter.
In the workflow task, create an output parameter of the same type as the BO method output parameter.
In the binding between the task container and the method container fetch the value of plant details from method container to task container element.
Now pass this parameter to the workflow container and use in the send mail step in the mail text.
Make sure to save and generate the BO after doing all the changes.

Workflow status column is not showing the internal status values (Inprogress, Started, Suspended, Completed)

I've created SPD 2013 workflow and deployed them onto that document library, This workflow execute on item update event. When updating library item, workflow triggered and completed successfully but workflow status column is not
showing the Internal Status values rather it is showing the Stage information. I've unchecked the "Automatically update stage name on workflow status" and republished the workflow. After that, it is still showing the stage information. Any help
is really appreciated.

It is by design that 2013 workflow will show stage name in the workflow status column when
Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name is checked.
And the workflow status column will be blank when Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name is unchecked.
For existing workflows, the workflow status will still exists with the previous values after unchecking Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name.
We can use Set Workflow Status action to update the workflow status value based on our needs.

Requests and Fill Rate since Dec 17th are not final

Hi All,
The request and fill rate, as shown in pubCenter, for Windows phone apps, is not final since 17th Dec 2014, and it may change.
The same has been indicated in reports using the grey shaded region.
pubCenter team is working on getting the final numbers and we hope to get it soon.

What happened to yesterday's requests #? Our analytics show we have increased active users and time for each session for yesterday (2015-01-01) but pubCenter shows the # of requests is only 60% as usual. Although it is not finalized, the difference is

Terminating Event in PO Release Workflow. Workitem is not terminating

Hi WF Experts,
I have done Purchase Order Release Workflow with 10 level release With 2 days dead line. Since standard release supports only 8 level release i have opted for Role Resolution Via User Exit 9 . and i am picking release codes from ztable.
I was working fine till now.But suddenly end users are facing problem that workitem is not terminating even after they have released the PO.
What could be the issue what is the terminating event for PO Release workitem.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

14. Once my photos look the way I want, I then export them to JPEG. I have set up a Photoshop droplet for Lightroom that will then do all my sharpening after export.
That's it! I know it sounds like a lot of steps, but once you've done it a couple of times it goes by really quick. I'm really loving most things about Lightroom in terms of its cataloging and export options. But the image quality of the Lightroom raw conversions just isn't there yet. I've found by integrating both Capture NX and Lightroom I can get top quality results while still gaining advantage of Lightroom's many nice features. It took me a few days of exploration and experimentation to nail down the optimal workflow for my needs. Hopefully this will help some others out and maybe give them some ideas of their own toward a better workflow.
Please feel free to share your thoughts or own experience on all of this.
