Working-Frame is empty

Question

Hello,
I have a little problem with a JFrame. I have a function wich sends a Query to a Database. The result is displayed in a table. When this function works I want to display a frame with an animated gif wich shows, that the programm is still running. But the frame is empty. The gif appears when the work is done.
Sorry for my english. Please help.
