Workschedule - linked to company code

Hi Gurus,
Working on a support project, client has given the details of the company code and name of the workschedule, which is to be copied to a different company code..
How can i get the details of the groupings which ls linked to the company code to a specific work schedule.
There are nos PA and PSA assigned to this company code. Do i need to check each and every PA/PSA assigned to this company code to get the details.
Please let me know the table where i can view workschedule according to the company code.
early replies would appreciated.
Regards,
M Bharath

The link is Company Code > PA/PSA > PSA groupings > Work Schedules.
Go through the IMG nodes (instead of individual tables): Where almost every configuration activity begins with assigning groupings. One of the easiest ways to carry out this transfer is assign the same personnel subarea groupings (that are present in your source company code) to the personnel subareas in your destination company codes.
You will have to regenerate the work schedules for all such groupings after all configuration activity is completed.
Please be aware that Work Schedule Rules also have Employee Subgroup Groupings -- something which you will have to ensure is in place in your destination company code.

  • How to link ECC Company code with BCS Consolidation unit

I have to create new consolidation unit in BCS, parallelly in SAP R/3 also I have created a company code.
I could read following in the forum :-
The Company Codes from ECC are assigned to the characteristic Company in BCS, thus creating a one to one relationship between ECC & BCS company codes.
BUT HOW TO DO THE SAME.
Also any advise on Profit centre and cost centre etc in BCS in line with ECC. This is first time I am configuring in BCS,

Typically in ECC company codes are assigned to a company. The company is typically used for cons unit in BCS, but it is not uncommon for company code to be used as cons unit.
When company code is used, it is an attribute of the characteristic company and thus in the load mapping, the company is mapped to the attribute company code. This results in company code being mapped to company.
Otherwise, if company code is in the databasis as the cons unit role, then it is simply mapped to company code to company code.
For profit center and cost center, these are typically assigned the role subassignment, but it is not uncommon for profit center to be a cons unit for a matrix consolidation. However, these characteristics must first be included in the totals/databasis infocube.

  • Update locations link to a company code

Hello all, I am working in SRM 7.0 and in MM system was an update of plants linked to company codes. Now, I have to replicate it to SRM.
How can I do it? How can I update it?
I try with report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL but it doesn´t work
    Thanks in advance
    Rosa Rodríguez

I deleted the entrie that is obsolete in the table BBP_LOCMAP. Then I run report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED and select the plant that I have to update.

  • Table linking company code /purchase org/purchase group

    Hello All,
Please provide me the table(s) which can provide me a link between company code /purchase org/purchase group.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello Ryan,
Don't know exactly what you want to do, but tables HRP5500 and HRT5500 give you data from 'Function' tab assigned to organizational units in PPOSA_BBP transaction (see also view HRV5500A ).
    Maybe it could help you.
Other solution is to use function module BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP with importing parameter IV_ORGUNIT = organizational unit ID defined as company (with 'Function' tab in PPOSA_BBP ): you will get all purch. group. (and their corresponding purch. org.) for this company code.
    Regards.

  • Restrict PR/PO/GR for a particular company code from particular date

    Hi Experts
How we can restrict PR/PO/GR for a particular company code from a particular date?
I know PR is not directly linked with company code
PO can be restricted by deactivating the assignment between company code & plant
GR- we can use posting period option.?
Suggest me the best solution for the above requirment.
    Thanks/karthik

    hi
Obvoiyusly , you can stop the company code posting by not activating the month end closing of periods (MMPV) in MM and similarly in FI ( OB52).
By removing the assignment you can stop PO creation for the company code but you need to ensure that all the old, un-finished PO/SA and other related activities are taken care off before that.

  • Vendor bank to company code

    Dear Forum,
I check LFA1, LFBK, LFB1 to get the link of vendor bank to company code but could not get.
LFA1 no bank information whereas LFBK no company code.
Why there is no link? I need vendor bank which link to company code. I have same vendor in the same country with different bank key/account for different company code.
    Thanks

You should use the field Partner Bank Type (LFBK-BVTYP) for restricting the usage of the bank account. But there is no standard rule for linking accounts to companies. So you should create your own validation and/or substitution on the field BSEG-BVTYP.
BVTYP is a 4 character code. You may put the company code in LFBK-BVTYP if the bank account is reserved to a company code. In a substitution, you program the following: if BSEG-BVTYP is empty, search for an entry in LFBK with LIFNR = BSEG-LIFNR and BVTYP = BKPF-BUKRS. If an entry is found, fill BSEG-BVTYP with BKPF-bukrs.

  • Creating Cross Company Code Vendors/Customers.

    Hi All,
I'm trying to understand how to create cross company code Vendors and Customers.  I've already established the link with configuring OBYA.  What I'm not clear is on which company code I should be creating the vendor and customer.
We have two company codes, 2100 & 0980.  CC 2100 has the central bank tha pays invoices for CC 0980.  I have two issues.
    1. What kind of configuration is needed to accept incoming payments into CC 2100 House banks and lockboxes?
    2. For intercompany activity between 2100 & 0980 how are the vendor and customer master records set up?  I know there needs to be a vendor on the customer master and a customer on the vendor master.
So for 0980 acting like a vendor for 2100 I'm assuming the vendor number for 0980 is set up as a 2100 vendor.
The same is true when acting as a customer.  The difference being is that this vendor entered into a field on the customer master and the customer number is entered on a field in the vendor master.
I'm missing how the Vendor record, if created on Company Code 2100 gets linked to Company Code 0980.

For SAP to 'know' that a particular vendor / customer master records represents a specific company code, all these needs to be linked to the same 'company'.
Companies are maintained in T880 (IMG : enterprise structure -> definition -> Fin Acctg -> Define Company
Company code is linked to a company in the cocode config. IMG enterprise structure -> Assignment -> Fin Acctg -> Assign comp. code to company
And finally, the Trading Partner field in the Customer/vendor master is where you assign the company to the cust/vendor.
This setup will eventually allow you to consolidate interco A/R, A/P, etc.. if you need to but is not necessary for the interco process to post.(although you'd want to have it rght from the get go)

  • There are 2 places to define Company Code, which is correct.

There are 2 places to define company code i.e.:
IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Acc -> Define Company, and
IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Acc -> Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company code.
I know the one path updates table T001 and the other T880 but I don't understand the differences... probably as I am abapper.
Edited by: Gemini Twin on Jun 15, 2011 10:43 AM

    Hi Gemini,
Company and Company Code are different.
The first path is to define Company:
IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Acc -> Define Company
Second path is to define Company Code:
IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Acc -> Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company code.
(the practice when creating any new config in SPRO is to used Copy function instead of Create)
We can make do without Company. In my customer's system, we do not set up Company.
Company Code is a must and is the first step that you need to define before defining anything else (Pers Area, PSA, etc).
Chart of Account also linked to Company Code, not Company. The two are different, please do not confused them into one.

Assign plants c, d, e to same company code.
If you want to create a Stock Transfer Order,
maintain A as supplying plant. (create vendor master linked to purchase org and company code)
maintain c, d, e as receiving plants. (create customer masters linked to company code)
Ignore Plant B (if no changes to stock is happening there).
Do a 2 step stock transfer, when stock is in transit, after 1st step, you can assume stock is moving thru Plant B.
Settings For Stock Transport Order Without Delivery:
    Order type UB
    Item category U
    GI: 351

Settings For Stock Transport Order with Delivery:
    Order type UB
    Item category U
    GI: 641
    GR: 101
    Delivery Type: NL
If STO not needed, use 303 GI from Plant A and 305 GR in Plant C, D, or E thru MIGO.
If Plant B should be considered in stock transfer,
Just do a one or two step transfer from A to B, then from B to C, D or E.

  • Looking For a relation btwn sales off and company code

    Hi SD Experts
I have a requirement (iam an abapper) where in i need a uniqe relation between company code, sales office and bussiness place. I found a table idvkbur_bupla but this table is initial in the sap system.
My Question is if I have a company code value(bukrs) and a businees place value(bupla or branch), can I derive a unique sales office from that?
    Help will be greatly apprecieated.
    Best Regards
    Sameer

    HI Sameer,
a direct link you just have trough the process. For order taking its in the table VBAK (you have company code field BUKRS_VF and sales office in field VKBUR) here you have an 1:1 link
Also in Invoice for one item you have a 1:1 link. The company code in table VBRK field BUKRS and in VBRP the field VKBUR (sales office). VBRK and VBRP are linked via the field VBELN.
In the customizing you can have many links (1:n).
table TVKO you have link from company code to sales organization
TVTA you assign the possible sales areas
TVKBZ you assign the possible sales offices for the sales areas.
There are more tables but just some important ones.
    I hope it helps

    Norbert

  • Is it possible to assign different company code employees(country grouping also different) under same Organizational Unit?

    Hi SAP Experts,
In OM side, Org Unit is linked to company code "GB**" cost center, when we tried to assign new cost center(company code is GB**), system throws error "Company Code changes involves Invalid change of country". I know when we try to assign cost center, belongs to another country company code, this error comes. I checked and found that employees under OU belong to 2 different countries.Few of the employees belong to GB** company code while other employees belong to FI** company code.
Is it possible to assign different company code employees(different country code) to the same OU? if yes, how can we do that?
    Please reply soon
    BR,
    RG

    Hi RG
"Is it possible to assign different company code employees(different country code) to the same OU? if yes, how can we do that?"
Yes it is possible to assign by creating sub org unit and then assigning cost center based on the company code (and country code)
When the child org unit is created under the Parent org unit - maintain the Account assignment details - cost center details based on the company code of other countries i.e Finland and any positions created it will be under Finland and that way you can choose different countries.
    Example :
Root Org unit : XYZ / OU
Sub Org units : GB  / Finland / Italy / NL   etc with respective cost centers
Sub Org units or positions: GB_HR / GB_Sales etc which will default the cost center from the GB org unit.
In our current clients we have more than 5 + countries under the Root Org unit and then sub org units as each country which are further divided and have respective cost centers assigned.
    best wishes
    V
