Worst service provided by BlackBerry service centre-Trivandrum

No wonder we don't see blackberrys now. Just now visited:Tc-15/1805(3), I Floor, Mahesh Estates, Vazhuthacaud City : Trivandrum Kerala, India. Pincode : 695014.(as available in the website). They sent me to another centre, who again directed me to the former. Finally our authorised service centre admitted, they are short of engineers.Whoisto be blamed?please be prepared to service the phone of your own,if it's ablackberry(what I've learned).please stop cheating the public!!!!!

I'm having a bad expereince myself. So far they have failed to call me back on 2 occasions. I sent my phone in for service repair as I cracked the screen.
Service rep says that the Z1/Z1s is not repairable. Only warranty replacements are being done. They sent my phone back unrepaired.
Its a simple crack, and they shipped it back without the original box I shipped it in. They also didn't do a security wipe clean of the phone.
How does Sony decide to make a phone thats "waterproof", yet unservicable in case of accident?
I too came from a iPhone, as I was just bored out of my mind with the interface, and wanted something more customizable, and functionally tailored to my needs. I am super happy with that part of Android, but besides battery life, and overall phone design, Sony fails to deliver in this "Flagship" device not only in the phones usable and servicable future, but the screen used on the Z1 AND the revised Z1s are the same washed out  in sunlight, hard to read screen. buggy camera app, phone often continually reboots, the screen rotate and camera settings get swapped on the zoom feature whi9ch makes no sense. And the biggest issue most people will have is the SUPER THIN GLASS. It is so thin Sony had to apply a laminate over it from the factory. the Z1 had a metal bezel and this cause the screen to crack just by the force around it. So they changed it to plastic on the Z1s so it would flex more and not crack. Of course this was not a solution.
If this is how Sony is handling screen repairs by sending it back and saying the phone is unrepairable. I would have to conclude this to be one of the worste designed phones ever produced at the premium price of $600. If you did happen to buy this phone, not having it in a rigid case leaves you with a HIGH chance of owning a waterproof brick.

    Hem(personal info removed)
hi, my name is hem(personal info removed) from ahmedabad.
i m feeling like a fool after buying a blackberry curve 9220 white handheld from snapdeal. i received the phone in the last week of april'13 and on 31st may'13 my phone got dead. i submitted to the service centre in ahmedabad @ mithakali on 3rd june'13(WORK ORDER NO. - (personal info removed)223). i have been told that it needs to be sent to bangalore and will be back in aroung 15-20 days. still i have not received my phone. no one from blackberry is responding to me. from service centre ms. shweta told me that it will take one week - the same reply since last two weeks. mr. chintan has cooperated well on the no.((prsonal info removed)70). mr. chintan said that this service centre does not belongs to him so he has given me one more contact no. of mr. pravin - (personal info removed).
i m trying to get connect to this no. since last two days. this no. is either busy or not getting replied. i tried this no. in last two days for more than 50 times atleast. today mr. chintan has given me one more no. of mr. prashant ((personal info removed)13). he asked me for the WO no. and told me that some one will get back to me. i got a call from mithakali service centre and same reply - one more week. now mr. prashant is also not replying my phone. i m really not understanding a phone like blackberry which i hardly used for 4 weeks is lying with service centre since almost last four weeks. now in no way this phone is acceptable to me. now this long message is my last hope. i hope to recieve at least a reply as this is the longest message i have ever drafted in my life and that too for a bloody phone like blackberry. black service and black associates.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
As a user-to-user community, no one here can answer your question with any level of authority whatsoever. BlackBerry provides zero front line support to end users, including warranty...all support starts with the carriers, authorized resellers, and authorized service centers, all who can escalate cases into BlackBerry at no charge to the end user.
So, your escalation path is not here, in these forums. Rather, it is through your service center and/or place of purchase...even if they may have so far been unhelpful. You have no free path by which to bypass them, and should be escalating to their management levels.
There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the initial question, since you are bypassing the contract you signed upon purchase. If you wish to investigate that, you can review it here:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/programs/technical/incident.html
There also might be some good reading here:

That is correct - there is no international warranty.
Either send it to someone you trust in the US or fly back and have it looked at.

    Hi p,
Apple keeps all replaced parts. That's their policy.

the blackberry support in bombay - India is pathetic.<br>First of all there is no service centre and handsets<br>have to b given to mobile operators and<br>it takes 30 + days to get it back.<br>Even aftr tht u r not sure that the you will get<br>the handset repaired/replaced.<br>We have around 350 handsets and have a nightmare handling such issues. If this continues, very soon Blackberry will have to wind up from india.... Support is the worst for blackberry and operators say they are helpless..my question to Rim is, does it have the same support quality in US and canada also ?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Since you said "my question to Rim", I feel compelled to respond so as to set your expectation correctly. These forums have nothing to do with your formal support channel. These forums only occasionally receive input from formal RIM folks. The bulk of the activity here is as these forums are intended -- user-to-user. So, you should not expect an answer from RIM to your question.
That said, I'd say that no, the support is not the same everywhere...but, then, that's the nature of a free market economy...different providers choosing to provide different levels of service. But, don't despair -- there are plenty of complaints about service from US and CA carriers as well. As with all things, it comes down to the two people on the phone...if they can work together and they both have knowledge, then things work well. Sadly, it would appear that most of the time, those stars do not align.
    Good luck!

  • Worst service experience...irresponsible lenovo customer support

This is conversation I had with some of the officials of lenovo.
Not a single person found responsible, starting with Sales support , technical support, Salesservices ED..and list goes on.
I cried out my issue about 15-17 times to different person, not a single person have kept any track of it niether it is resolved yet. And after all the hustle the final email answer comes from lenovo's Service ED is that they cant help contact local lenovo!
Worst service ever anyone can provide!
I am pasting my email conersations with the "officials" and persons of lenovo :

    Sir,
It is surprising to note that a customer of “Lenovo”, supposed to be a good brand ,has such a pathetic after sales service.
Just imagine that a customer is not able to use the system due to non- availability of Lcd rear screen ( part no    90200798 ). God only knows what happens when there is problem with hard disc or some important part.
I have been trying for over 3 months now both at your Bangalore office ( at-least 20 times ) service contact no and in US on 877-453-6686 at-least 10 times.
Your service centre has sent me the wrong part and are not accepting to refund the amount paid USD 72.87
Even after providing all relevant information about the problem and the product delaying tactics are being adopted by putting irrelevant questions.
All desired informations are given below once again.
    1. Attached the copy of bill
    2. Ordered the part by calling Lenovo (877-453-6686)
Day before yesterday I called Lenovo (877-453-6686) and had a conversation of 1 hour and 10 minutes  in which the employee gave me an assurance that I will receive an email within 24 hours and he even told that he has made a note of calling me on 06 Nov, 2014 and check with me whether I have received the email or not. I neither have received the email nor I have received a call from him. The employee id is 198558.
Looking to the attitude of the so called service department of Lenovo I will be left with no other option but to post the case on all social media sites so that the world knows the true face of Lenovo’s service department. I will also be constrained to take legal measures for recovery of the loss .
Please treat this as the final call and ensure that the problem is attended not later than 10th November 2014.
    Thank you.

Well I tried contacting them, I ordered the part number 90200798 but when I received it was the wrong part number which was delivered to me. When I call the customer care, they say that the part number is available when I try to order that they say it is not available to order. Even I still have not received the refund of the wrong part they have sent me. I just don't understand why such kind of poor service is being provided inspite Lenovo having such a good brand name. I request you to look into this matter aa it is becoming a serious issue and since 2 months I am unable to use my laptop.

    The customer care,
I had purchased a Lenovo Laptop Model number U410 from India in September, 2012 and later I moved to Dallas in August, 2013. After  an year of use I faced the problems during opening / closing the screen. I contacted a vendor locally and he informed that part number 90200798 has to be replaced. I have tried at all the places in India and got this requirement registered at Bangalore customer care who have finally confirmed that the model is discontinued and the spare part number 90200798 is not available in India now.
I request you to kindly guide me as to where this can be repaired. It is surprising to note that a product which could not be repaired despite my best efforts. The customer care in US tells me that they have the part number when I try to order it they send me a different part number.
Me and my friends have been preferring Lenovo products and therefore request you to take up my case on priority and under special treatment.
    Thanking you,XXXXXXXXXXX
I am not anymore expecting form these people to solve this problem, because they do not care about customer; and it evident from their careless responses.
This is an attempt to help and save someone's money, this may open someone's eye and stop them from getting in to this poor service trouble!
I will try my best to reach every possible social media with this!

    Hello User288840,
It was very kind of you to purchase a Lenovo laptop for your daughter before she went off to college! I’m sure such a purchase was intended to help her through her studies, and I’m truly sorry to hear that she’s encountered issues with the touch-pad so soon after purchase.
Generally speaking, outside of the Return & Exchange Promise we would attempt to repair the laptop under either a manufacturer warranty or a Geek Squad Protection plan (if one was purchased) depending on the issue at hand. While it is nice to hear that one store may have been willing to offer an exchange, this would be considered an exception and not all stores may be willing to provide such an option. However, this information should of course have been shared with you in a respectful manner, and I apologize if it wasn’t.
Using the information you registered with the forum, it seems that this purchase was made in August of 2014, putting you far outside the Return & Exchange Promise. I am sorry if the solution offered by the secondary store did not coincide with the first store’s option, and that their solution of repair was unsatisfactory to you. With that said, I would encourage you to return to the store to see what repair options we may have for you. Please let me know if you should have any questions.
    Sincerely,

Hopefully, this information will be of use to you. No one on this site works for your reseller, your carrier, your service center, nor BB...hence, no one here can do anything formally about your situation. If you feel you are being improperly denied service, you must escalate with the management of the service center. Also contact your reseller and/or review your original purchase documents to determine exactly what warranty service you agreed to when you made your purchase (that is when such is decided...by contract, when you purchase the device).

  • Playbook Service Centre in NOIDA

I had purchased a Playbook in Jan 3, 2012. Ever since it has stayed at Bangalore service centre for more time than with me, for some problem or other. Recently, the playbook was replaced with another machine, but it won't boot up. The message I am getting is - Could not activate this tablet (132353)
Meanwhile, the authorised  service centre in NOIDA (near delhi)  got changed and HCL INFOSYSTEM is the new service provider. They say that they don't have the necessary software.
    1) Where do I go now  and how my playbook can be attended to?
    2) What is the meaning of the error message? How it can be resolved, before warrenty period lapses?

I recommend you give playbook support a call at the number beow:

  • Service centre for instant repair

    Hi
I have a minor hardware problem with my handset that at times the speaker works and at times it doesn't when I make or receive any call. I guess the speaker jack must have got some problem.
I went to the nearby service centre at Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Delhi, India. But the person there told me that I have to leave the phone for almost a week as they don't open the phone there and will send it to company.
I can't work without my phone and can't afford to leave it for a week. Can somebody tell me some service centre details where I can get it repaired instantly or at max within 2 days.
I tried calling on the customer care toll free number also which was provided to me by that service centre. But nobody answers the call?
    Thanks

  • Pathetic service at HCL Touch,Andheri(E),Mumbai Certified customer service centre of Lenovo

I brought my Lenovo K900 32 GB smartphone from amazon on 30th March 2014 & it got delivered to me on 1st April 2014.Though the phone was in good working condition, I noticed that the battery of the phone used to drain out extremely quickly i.e. it would take 3 hours to charge the phone & the battery would drain out in 5 hours;even on standby. When I contacted Amazon, they were ready to refund me the amount; but till a certain date.So I thought, rather than returning a brand new phone, it would be better to replace the battery from a certified lenovo service centre. So after contacting them through phone and mail, they gave me the address of 4 service centres in Mumbai. I selected HCL Touch centre in Andheri (East) as it is nearest to my residence in Dahisar. When I submitted my phone to them, the lady on the counter said that if there is a software fault, it would take 2 days & for hardware fault i.e. faulty battery( she said 'faulty battery'specifically) it would take 10 days & also asked me to check the status of my phone by contacting them after 2 days.I submitted my phone there on 8th April 2014.When I called them on 11th April, they informed me that my phone was ready for pick-up. On 12th April,2014, I went with my dad to the above-mentioned service centre. Firstly, they almost made us wait an hour to get back the phone. On receiving the phone, I requested them to charge it because I wanted to make sure that the battery drain problem was solved . While charging the phone, I chanced to check the software update done to my phone & found that the phone which was given to me was a 16 GB one & not the 32 GB one.But the back panel was of my phone as I had not removed the sticker on which my IMEI Number was written. Further I realized that the phone had a scratch guard put up on it, which appeared to be very old and full of scratches as well as the ends of the camera were also filled with scratched whereas my phone had no scratch guard & was free of any scratches as it was only a-week old.I further checked the IMEI no. of the phone by typing *#06# & to my horror, the number was totally different!!! When I told the lady on the counter that this phone is not mine, she was not ready to accept it & gave it again inside;on the pretext of getting it checked. After half an hour, they made me talk to an engineer who says that they have replaced the motherboard of my phone with a 16 GB one as 32GB was not available!!! IF I WANT,he says, then I can keep that phone for 10 days & come back again when the new motherboard arrives.Utterly confused, I told him to talk to my dad; who the shouted on them & asked how they could exchange the motherboard of my phone, firstly, without asking & secondly when the problem was of the battery & not of the phone's motherboard. The engineer, out of fear, cut-off the call then & there itself.Till then, the lady on the counter went off-duty & a new guy came in. He again tried to give us the same piece ;saying to come after 10 days. My father then asked to meet the manager of the service centre. He did not come, but sent his assistant; who was extremely arrogant and adamantly denied the fact that my phone had been replaced by an old piece. On the contrary, he started saying that they would either replace the motherboard again with a 32 GB one or give a certain certificate through which I can get my phone exchanged from the shop from where I had bought it. But, since I had brought it online,I told him that the date for refund was over & I would not be eligible. On hearing that, he says that IT IS MY PROBLEM & NOT HIS THAT THE DATE IS OVER.On hearing his reply, my father retorted him by saying  he wants the motherboard to be replaced with the original faulty one, the one with our IMEI No.The assistant went inside with a huff & comes out again after 45- minutes ,repeating the same story of replacing the motherboard on an alreay-old-and-replaced-phone with a new 32GB one. When asked about the old motherboard, he says that it has been returned back to china!!! Exasperated & extremely frustrated, I finally scolded him that first of all, they have replaced my brand new phone & given it to someone else or misplaced it; and on the contrary, they are not ready to admit their mistake & are making us feel as if we have done something wrong. Why should we run from pillar to post just because of their stupidity & carelessness. My father also warned him that he'll be dragged to the consumer court if they do not accept their fault. Finally, he relented & said it was their mistake & says to come back on Wednesday, 16th April 2014;saying that they would provide me with a new piece. But looking at their outlook, arrogance & lousy work, I'm not at all optimistic of getting my phone back.Did not expect this from lenovo, have completely wasted my money.

recently i spilled tea on my macbook pro  screen but key were safe as it was covered with key guard, some tea trickeled down from screen to the dividing portion, imediatly i switched it off and left it for long period of time and then restarted it everything was fine only it was not getting charged the green ligh was only there, i took it to authorised apple service centre (very far) they examined it and told that everything seems to be ok..but they asked for some time to find some internal damage..i left the machine there and came back..i haven't received any call from them for two days when i asked them they told they need to change the charging port i agreed ..again no call from them..i just made a call again this time they told that charging port was unable to fix the problem..they told the the logic board has to be replaced..since it was costly and i bought the machine 5 month back ...so i made  my mind to buy new one ..again i made a call (everytime i called them) they told  me they have a logic board of some customer who broke his led panel and need to sell his logic board.they offered me if i want i can buy that..it will cost 35000(more than 50% than orignal machine) , i told them it will cover the warrenty or not they confirmed me "yes". i told them to change it since  i was out of station ,it was not possible for me to go there so it was all done on phone. please help me i collected my macbook pro with lot of doubt in my mind..
1.Is that logic board will cover the warrenty and how can i make out is they changed it or just done nothing
2.what controll apple has on its service centre
3.when i asked them if something goes wrong and  i will have to take it to any other service centre what to do,they suggested not to mention about logic board changing issue
    4. is orignal logic board has some item no or something so that i can find out, i feel ,may be wrong that hey must have cheated me..and the charging port must have resolved the problem
Please help..and sorry for my language error,

this is the one mentioned on my macbook invoice and on its body, this is pic of "about this  mac" and now please help me to find where to
    this  compare it
So The Serial Number W80201QNATN is from your original invoice when you first bought the MBP. The same serial number is on the body of the MBP. The same serial number shows up in System Profiler when you start the MBP.
That all matches with the information given from one of the links I posted earlier. It fits your MBP perfectly:
    Serial number: W80201QNATN
Name: MacBook Pro (Mid 2010 13 inch)
    Group1: MacBook
    Group2: Pro
    Generation: 71
    ModelCode:
    Machine Model: MacBookPro7,1
    Model introduced: 2010
    Production year: 2010
    Production week: 20  (May)
Production number: 1994 (within this week)
    introduced test: 2010 (0) 1
    introduced test: GOED
    CPU speed: 2.66GHz
Family name: Become a pro user to see this information. (sorry)
    Screen size: 13 inch
    Screen resolution: 1280x800 pixels
    Colour: Aluminium
    Factory: W8 (Shanghai China)
Now this is a serial number you provided earlier: 34031968Atm Where does this come from?

The iPhone warranty is not international and as you purchased in
Malaysia the warranty is only valid in Malaysia
You could try taking to an iPhone Authorised service provider
in India but there have been many similar posts to yours
and I am not aware  of them assisting  with an iPhone from
    outside India

  • Going to service centre again and again - Bangalore (India)

I gave my Q5 for service on 20 Dec 2014 to fix calender settings issue. After a week it was ready for deliver by changing the screen, and I noticed the back panel was damaged by the service centre. Requested them to fix the panel, as per the service advisor it may take 10 to 12 days to receive the stock. Went back to the service centre after 14 days and was surprised the stock wasn't received to them.
Making a note on the receipt they have delivered the mobile stating "back panel needs to replace". Accepted the same and took delivery on 9 Jan 2015. After delivery I noticed "alt" button was not working and hearing speaker was getting echo, rushed back to the service centre again on 10 Jan 2015. Took 4 days to fix the issue and delivered on 13 Jan 2015.
And now I am finding the issues with the keypad light and proximity sensor. Need to rush to service centre again. Not sure when it has "The End".
Do I need to rely on BlackBerry or do I need to move new competitive phones and tell good bye to BlackBerry?

The mail ID is sdn (at) sap (dot) com...

What were you trying to buy on SDN??
    Cheers,

  • Service Centres in France

    Hi
    The Toshiba.fr website lists
    SATELEC-ETEC
    50 Z.A. de l'Estuaire
21 avenue de la Pierre Valle 50220 POILLEY
As the service centre for department 50 but the Website for them is dead
and another company is now at that address.
A check with Google shows that Satelec-Etec went into liquidation in 2011?
Is there an updated list of French service centres?
    Thanks

I think you need answer directly from Toshiba so I recommend you to visit http://www.toshiba.de/innovation/generic/ASP_SUPPORT/
    I found there follow info:
    Phone: +33 (0) 1 47 28 21 99
    Website: www.pc.toshiba.fr
Call hotline and ask where the nearest Toshiba service provider is.
