  • EDI invoice for Batch qty.

    Dear experts,
in a special scenario I would like that in the EDI outbound invoice Batch qty. which is not showing for segment E1EDP19 which is showing only the Batch nr., I wanted to use a BADI for EDI outbound invoice which uses the logic for transfering Batch qts. in the IDOC?
Does anynone know BADIs or any userexits for such scenario?
    Thanks and advice.

    Hi Ram,
thanks. Do we have a sepeicifc BADI also??
When IDOC is passed to the externnal system one uses BAPIs, what about before the IDOC is passed, I want the IDOC
content(BATCH QTY.), in the SAP itself, to have the Batch qty. passed in the IDOC.
The standard SAP shows only Batch nr. and not the BAtch qty.
    Thanks and advice.

  • Item condition repeating in Invoice for Batch split items-V  Urgent

    Hi Guys,
My Sales order has one line item
One Item condition is there in the pricing procedure, it brings the value as the relevant condition record is existing.
Batch split is happening in delivery and because of which the order item is splitting into two lines, the main item is showing the quantity as zero, and the batch split item is holding the entire quantity in the delivery document..
When this delivery is converting into billing, the invoice is showing two lines, and is bringing the condition both for the main item (zero quantity), and for the batch split item (with full quantity).
Now because of this the customer is being charged twice by way of this condition type which is repeating in both the line items.
Ideally, for the main item which has the quantity as zero, this condition should not come. It should rather appear for the item which holds the full quantity.
How can correct this, pls let me know.
    Many Thanks,
    Regards,
    Vivek

summarize the batch split into the main item: use Billing quantity flag = G in copy control tcode VTFL.

  • HT201303 I have been debited money for an App I did not purchase, however where do I complain all Apple provides are generic answers and nowhere about wrong invoices

I have received an invoice for an app I did not buy.  I looked at it but at no time confirmed the purchase by using my password - how do I get reimbursed or even where do I complain - all I get are generic answers about protecting my password.

Right. So you're telling me that Apple has left someone in charge who is totally screwing their customers' experience and no one at Apple will help reign them in and set them straight?
I guarantee you that she's not the only person who's had this experience and it **** well sours me from buying another iPhone if I know it won't be taken care of if something goes wrong.
I've posted this to let Apple know there's something woefully wrong with their partner and to get that fixed as well. I know Vodafone is the one I'm supposed to deal with; I just want that to be improved.

    Dear Mujubur,
It is generic feature of a business that price is changed for various reasons. So excise accounting is adjusted corresponding it.
What you do, please create a debit memo request which is a sale order type document by VA01 with reference of all commercial inovices against which you want to create the single supplementory invoice. Then create a debit memo which is a bimming document by VF01 with reference of that debit memo reuest and do the release to accounting.
Then part A/C will be debited and all other corresponding accounts with Excise provision A/C will be creadited. Now create a billing type as proforma invoice (Bill category U) in configuration and mainatin the copy control from debit memo document type.
It is better to do the configuration first. Then create the proforma invoice with reference of that debit memo. It will be like a image document of the debit memo. Then create excise invoice by J1IIN with refernce of that proforma invoice with different number series if you want tom maintain. Then excise account will take place -  Ex provision Dr ,  ED payable Cr. That Excise document is  your desired supplementory excise invoice. It will also come in the scope of excise utilisation in J2IUN. The proforma invoice is to be created other wise excise document with transaction type DLFC will not vecreated as it creates only from proforma inovice , not from any other type of billing document.
Don't go for Excise JV. Apparemntly it is seemed that will be easier but your accounting will be wrong and there will be no track of data which will lead a problem for long run.
Please do it.  If more help required then inform. I have implemedted the same process.
Hope this will serve your purpose.

  • How to generate PAYEXT (PEXR2002) IDOC with many invoices for same vendor

    Hello,
We are implementing the IDOC payment processing through transaction F110.  The first test we ran using multiple items for the same vendor created an IDOC with multiple E1IDPU1 segments for each invoice.  We then configured a second bank and ran the test again.  This time the multiple invoices for the same vendor generated a seperate IDOC.
Does anyone know where I should start looking to figure out what I did wrong?  We are hoping to generate 1 IDOC for all invoices for the same vendor.
    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hello,
May I know how or what are the steps you did to create multiple invoices and generate multiple idocs for the same vendor? I have a requirement to generate multiple payext idoc for a single vendor.
Please advise. Thank you very much!

  • How to avoid cancellation of invoice for payment recevied

    Short Description:
Cancellation of Invoice raised on customer after receipt of Payment from him
    Description:
There is an Invoice dated 22.10.2008. We have received the payment for this Invoice vide document number posting date 06.12.2008. So the Invoice has been cleared. Now the Invoice has been wrongly reversed / cancelled vide Invoice No. dated 11.08.2010.
Is there any check that we can put so that the system does not reverse the Invoice for which payment has been received. Is there any standard check for the same.
    Please guide
    Thanks.

Yes SAP has given a standard routine to meet this requirement.
Go to VTFL, select your delivery type and billing type and execute. There you can see a field "Copying Requirements".  Maintain routine 29 here and save.  Also, go to VOFA, select your billing type and assign this routine to the same field.
Now try to cancel a billing document which has its status as "Cleared".
    thanks

  • Incoming Payment Applied to Wrong Invoice can not be unapplied

    Hi:
A Very annoying missing functionality in SAP Business One Payment Entry screen.
When you receive a payment (Incoming payment) - for a customer and apply to an invoice - but later realized that it was applied to a wrong invoice and we need to cancel the application of the payment and re-apply to a new invoice - the solution given to me by the Support Center is to cancel the payment altogether and re-enter the payment.
This will create unnecessary entries in to the customer ledger and the statement will look very odd with those entries.
I believe that this is a very genuine requirement and it is being addressed by all the small end software (like Tally, Pastel, Quickbooks etc) - when the customer moves from one of these software to SAP B1 - they expect small things like this is taken into consideration

    Receivable adjustment works like this:
    Current situation:
    Customer                        Revenue                               Receivable
    100  |                                  | 100                                100|
After receivable adjustment, it looks like this:
Customer                        Revenue                               Receivable                  Bad Debt Expense
    100  |                                  | 100                                100|                                        |
                                                                                            100                        100
Receivable adjustment does not adjust the customer balance/open items.  It only takes $ from the receivables and moves them to a separate g/l account.

  • OO Batch Model and optimised Java for batch???

    Hi All,
I'm looking to see if there is any literature of OO models for batch processing and optimising of batch java.
    Thoughts & comments welcome.........
I have an existing batch process running on a mainframe which is very successful. We would like to leverage this by building a similar batch process to run 'anywhere' so likely options are Java/Unix.
There are many patterns/models etc for OO based GUI / interactive processes but very few for (that I have found) for batch.
I have worked mainly with mainframe batch and online applications and come with the baggage that activity that can be processed in batch should be to avoid overloading the online container (CICS region, web server etc).
I believe that this continues to be true, as well as the particular data we are processing benefits from efficiencies of batching the data together to store eventually on tape.
In view of not finding any literature (which I doubt is the case) it seems that the problem is the same, so probably the solution is also similar.
In the procedural solution, a Jackson (or similar), would have been designed which would then reflect the procedures build into the code.
I expect that if instead of procedures classes where defined, certainly at a higher level then the design would still be ok.
(So a the higher level you have a 'main' class, which instansiates a 'read' io object, a processing object which handles the actual processing activity and a write io object).
The level to which would would combine procedures together, or further split them out, would then be the main point of discussion.
( However am open to the above suggestion being completly wrong).
Then there is efficient configuration when processing........
When running on the mainframe the code is loaded once, the memory for all the working storage strucures created. When actually processing there is no instantiating classes, or running the garbage collector etc. I re-use the same memory for each new record red in / processed / written out and all the code is normally loaded once when first called and the same code is re-used until all records processed.
Is there any way that I can replicate this within Java either in it's own JVM or running in a container such as websphere? When processing the volume of data that we do (20 million db entries + 40GB of document data avg) then anything not optimised is costing money and available processing time.

I suspect that batching is underused thoughrather
than overused. Can you elaborate on that? What kind ofconditions
would you advocate batching for? Running daily, monthly, etc reports. Or something
that feeds those.I don't disagree, I just don't even see this as 'batching'. Batching to me is when you take something that could be done incrementally and purposely doing it in large groups at set times or time-periods. If you have a daily report and you do it daily, you're just doing the most obvious approach. It might not even be the most efficient.
    >>
I have some experience working with batch java
applications running in Unix. And I can tell you
that they did not improve anything. I suspect I would agree with that. I am not
advocating that the batching be done in java. Just
that idea that an 'incremental' process that requires
moving data versus a 'batch' process that doesn't
isn't something that I would normally consider a good
idea.I think we are thinking about different things. I'm really just talking about incremental or real-time vs. batching.
    They were
actually the source of many of our issues. That
added abitrary time lags during times of lowvolumes,
sometimes adding 30 minutes or more to theprocessing
of a transaction as it waited for the nextscheduled
batch. They also made our backlogs worse in timesof
high volumes because the incoming data flow was
uneven, we would often get big batches of datafrom
partner systems (more batching, gotta love it)that
hit us when our batch process was sleeping. 5,10,
15 minutes would pass where the server ran at 10%
capacity while huge backlogs were piling up. It
didn't make anything better. It was just causing
    idling.
What was the timeliness requirements for the
processing? Did it need to be completed by 2am in
the morning? Or could it have really just been
completed on demand? It was B2B transactions ASAP was the time requirement. I guess the upper limit was 6 hours or so. But batching didn't really decrease the processing time per transaction anyway and the server was never dedicated to the batch or anything so there were still context switches.
It just seems to me that in Java with all the nice
threading we have access to, the server shouldnever
be idle and if you cannot handle your volume youare
better off adding more servers, not attempting to
batch things.I have created applications that were intended to run
'batch' jobs which could be spread across servers.
Those particular processes had to finish within a
very narrow time span as well - about two hours as I
recall. There was an incremental as well as batch
functionality that needed to be run for this. The
batch functionality ran on the database. The
incremental took the batched results and handle the
    incremental part.
Although management was never willing to dedicate
more than one server to the processing so I guess it
    wasn't that important to them.
I have seen apps that claimed they were 'fast'
because they did all of the incremental processing
outside of the database. The design required moving,
literally, the entire database over the network to
other servers which would then process it.
Processing it in the database would have taken
orders of less time. And that was time sensitive
data. I can't remember if that app allowed for
multiple boxes to do the processing. I do know that
the people working on it could never figure out the
bottleneck (it was scaling to something like 12
hours a day which was not acceptable.)I guess I don't see doing it on the DB as implying batching. We use triggers to drive processes in Java, COBOL, whatever.

  • Gross Wt & Net Wt not copied from delivery to invoice in batch split

    Hi Frnds,
We are appling a manual Header Frieght condition Type (HD00) to a delivery with batch split.
In the delivery this value(HD00) is splitted between line items based on Gross weight. But when we create the invoice for this delivery, the batch split line items do not have gross weight and net weight, and thus there is no value for HD00 in invoice.
Please provide us any pointers if you have encountered any such issue...
    Many thanks in advance...
    Regards,
    Karthick C

    Hi Karthick
This is expected in case of Batch split scenario, because in the sales order there is no batch split and in delivery there is batch split.
You create invoice w.r. to delivery, But in copy control, you have  mentioned the price source as Order only.
Also the child items in the batch split are not relevant for billing and hence , if you see the item category of the child item in VOV7, u can see that it is not relevant for billing. Hence the value of the invoice having the line items alone will also be zero.
However the parent item will have gross weight and net weight in the screen.
If you maintain the price source as Order and Delivery, there is a possibility that you can get HD00 in invoice. The billing quantity in this case in copy control shoudl be either G or H. Based on this value, you can get either one invoice for both parent and child items or two different invoices one for parent and another for child items.
