Wrong software???

I bought a fx 5900xt card 2 weeks ago. The card works great, but when i install any following software, and restarts the computer, it loads windows, and shows the desktop. But after 10 seconds it automatically restarts. This happends over and over again. I have this problem with Media center deluxe. and the drivers on the cd that came with the card. To fix this problem i open windows in safemode, and install the old drivers...
But i cant use media center, can anyone tell what that is the problem?

CPU Intel P4 3200mhz HT 1mb cache
RAM 2x samsung 512 mb PC3200 + 2x Infineon 256mb PC3200
HD 1 Seagate barracuda 80 gb + 1 Western digital Caviar 8 mb cache 80 gb
Powersupply ( i am really sorry but i cant check it, if i open the pc case ill brake the warranty)
But i am almost sure that the powersupply is not the problem, because the computer works 100% stable if i uninstall msi deluxe center.
I had this problem with some drivers following a graphics card i had a few years ago too, ( matrox millenium g450)

You cannot put the wrong software on an iPod. The iPod updater is intelligent enough to "know" which model iPod is connected, and so installs the appropriate software.

Bought the wrong software... I use Mac, but bought Windows software. Can I use the Windows version in my Mac? And how do I find Adobe Customer Support help??

I´m actually quite pissed off now... I´ve been trying to find Adobe Support or a telephone number to call, but all I can find is this Forum help site.
Problem:
I searched the web for the best photo editing software to be used with Mac. Adobe Photoshop Elements 13came up on top. I followed the links and clicked my way through the order process... When I was done, I see that I had purchased the software for Windows.
I wanted to call Adobe so I could change to Mac software, but can´t find out where to do this?? Now I am wasting a perfectly good morning trying to find contact information to Adobe.

Tried to reinstall software, but was wrong software

accidently installed OSX 10.4.7 over os x 10.4.11 anyway to get back what I lost. I have lost my disc for the 10.4.11

If your computer came with 10.4.7 or 10.4.8, then you can simply run Software Update to get to 10.4.11. If your computer came with 10.4.11, then I don't know how you were able to install an earlier version.

Upgrade Tiger to Snow Leopard - did I get wrong software?

Was in Apple store today, and told the sales person I wanted to upgrade my TIGER iMac to SNow leopard. I had thought I needed the Box version which comes with Works, etc. and I didn't want to spend for all of that since I only wanted to go to Leopard.
He asked me which Processor I had, and I told him the Intel Duo. He said with that processor, I can buy the stand alone Snow Leopard for $29 & that would work.
I actually questioned him pultiple times and he was quite adamant that I could use this to put Snow Leopard on my machine. But from what I am now reading (NOT on the outside of the box Snow Leopard comes in), this only can upgrade Leopard to Snow Leopard.
Did he give me wrong info? Can I use this disk to install Snow Leopard on my white iMac machine?

That is correct, but you should do the following before upgrading:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Restore appears to load wrong software?

I have been trying to fix the ex/folder issue on my new nano. Followed all suggestions I could find in the Apple support site. After restore successfully completes the software appears to be for a different ipod since it is black and white display. I am using the latest ipod updater to restore and am looking for any suggestions?

What kind of backup did you make?
A JSON backup or an HTML backup?
Restoring a JSON backup will replace all current bookmarks and importing an HTML backup will add the bookmarks to each of the three main (root) bookmarks folders. You can open an HTML file in Firefox via File > Open File to see all the bookmarks in that file.
Make sure that the backup file with the bookmarks has the correct file extension: .html for a HTML backup and .json for a JSON backup. 
You can check that via the right-click context menu of that file and open the Properties. 
If you are not sure about the file type then you can open the file in Firefox via "File > Open File" 
A JSON backup will show as one long text line without line breaks and a HTML backup as a web page with clickable links.

I believe I ordered the wrong programs. When talking to my dell concierge tech. I explained to him my need about converting a pdf file to a preprinted letterhead and be able to type the name and address to the top of the preprinted. I was told I had to get an adobe program 11, which I already had. It was one of your free ones. When I contacted the agent at adobe, he told me the program I needed was adobe acrobat and he talked me into trying out your trial program. It did not work. He said I would have to order the pro version and he talked me through making my first conversion. Today I found out about the huge expense of the instructions and the program. Do you have anything that I can use just to convert a pdf to put the name and address on a preprinted letter?
I am a 82 year old volunteer trying to help a nonprofit organization solicit funds. My only involvement is using a program that will allow this name and address to be changed from company to company.
I would appreciate a response. I don't need the adobe 11 and the adobe acrobat which are both downloaded off the internet. Can I cancel out on these programs and be refunded?

IPod touch refurbed comes with wrong software

When I was purchasing my iPod touch (refurbished, 16GB), I presumed it would come with version 2.0 of firmware, instead, when I opened it up and connected it to iTunes I found out it had v1.1.5 firmware. Is there a way I can get 2.0 without paying the $9.99?

The 2.0 upgrade is a paid upgrade, even for new IPTs ordered online today. Apple has not announced any plans to ship IPTs with the 2.0 upgrade pre-installed.
So, you'll need to pay the $10.

I meant to get photoshop but forgot to click the drop box and got 'Creative Cloud Photography Plan'. I don't need that. I need photoshop

T60p, hardware ok but wrong software

I just purchased a used T60P with an upgraded Hitachi 320gb 7200 hard drive. However, most of the ThinkVantage utilities are missing. The Recovery partition is missing. Also, the hard drive has been subdivided into two smaller drives of 127gb and 170gb. Finally, this computer originally came with Vista and now has a copy of XP Pro on it. I DO want the XP Pro. Here is what I would like to do:
-- upgrade the BIOS to the latest version
-- install XP Pro Recovery partition from a Lenovo CD
-- repartition the hard drive into several smaller drives
-- install Windows XP Pro and all the ThinkVantage utilities
My Questions

1. Does Lenovo sell a CD for upgrading the BIOS?
2. Do I just need to purchase Windows XP Recovery disks? Or will I also need the Vista Recovery disks, since the system was originally sold with Vista?
3. Are there any special problems because the hard drive is so large? If so, should I re-partition it before I try to create a hidden Recovery partition?

1. Since Record Now is also missing, I thought it might be quicker and safer to just buy a BIOS upgrade CD. I'm not completely sure that Nero Smartstart would be just as good. I do know that I need the widescreen version of the BIOS.
2. So you think just the XP Recovery disk will be okay? That's good news!
3. The previous owner said there was some limitation on the size of the hard drive, and that's why she divided it into two partitions. I don't exactly know what she was talking about. But perhaps upgrading the BIOS will fix this issue.
I will see about ordering the Recovery utilities next.

N73 ME software update wrong or corect.

I have a N73ME i have just have updated it and now it have the software V 4.0812.4.0.1. and i have also updated me frends N73 (not ME) and it also got the same software number. But what i can reade in hear the ME and not ME shall not have the same software number.
Last time we opdated our phone they have diffrent software number.
Also when you press and holde the menu bottom down to se wath program are running the medie player are not running lige before.
So i think my ME have got the wrong software and i have try update it agan with out susses.
