WS91500008,Task TS51907916: VerificationStatus = 9 is Wrong

Dear All,
When I create an external application, system creates the data in HRP5102 with VERIFICATIONSTATUS = 0 (verified).
but the workflow template WS91500008 fills the "verficationstatus" container with value "9" which does not even exist in the data element of
HRP5102 table field (only 0,1,2 are there).
The question is how the task TS51907916 fills the container with value "9" since the actual value is "0" at that time? screen shot is attached.
since this value is wrong so the later workflow tasks are sending email to candidates, which are not required.

This is OK if external candidate registering through company's website,that he has to receive Verification email BUT In case recruiter is entering external application manually, then system should not send the verification email to such candidate as per the SAP HELP below:
Workflow After Creating an E-Recruiting Object - SAP E-Recruiting (PA-ER) - SAP Library
If the application was entered manually, the system also creates an object of the type Candidate. The system then automatically sets the verification status of the candidate to Verified for an active verification process. As the system sends confirmation mails to unverified candidates only, a candidate whose application was entered manually does not receive a confirmation mail.
Am I missing something?

Deferred Task ---- what am I doing wrong?

I am trying to configure a Deferred Task, which will send an Email Notification on a particular date.
I included this Task in my Update User Workflow (I included it as an <Action> in the Activity "Notify").
Here is the code :

I don't know if the reason is because I made this an ACTION, and maybe it should be an ACTIVITY all by itself?
Or, maybe the problem lies with the DATE ?

I think the problem is in your Taskdefinition. Compare to mine as shown below and you will find a lot of differences.

Windows 8.1 Task Sequence is picking the wrong USB drivers

I have a Windows 8.1 task sequence that hasn't had any driver issues on all the other desktops I've tested. Except the HP Compaq 6000 Pro. None of the USB drivers are working correctly unless I select Update Driver Software -> Browse my computer for
driver software -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer then a list of 4 driver options appear. I can select any of them and they all work. I can't seem to figure out how to get it to select of those drivers by default. I've tried building
a driver package and also a capture with the correct drivers selected. Neither have worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Task not showing in UWL XML File

Hello Experts,
I am back with another query in less than a week.
Requirement:- There is a Transaction BNK_APP by which users do their task (approve reject etc) it triggers a workflow and then the workitems are generated and sent to SAP Inbox. These workitems are now shown in the users Inbox in UWL.
Users dont want to see these particular workitems in their inbox as they are required to do this via the transaction and not via UWL.
Workarounds:- I have been told that there is noway at all that this can be controlled from the workflow or the backend it has to be done by changing the UWL XML. Is it true that this situation cannot be achieved by changing or filtering the workflow or backend.
From Portal, I can
1. go into the xml file and delete that Workitem Task no.(TS50100025) and upload it with new name with priority "high" and good to go.
2. I can put something like this :

I switched on the Troubleshooting for UWL and saw that the config file was "uwl.webflow" with the same Task id. But when I checked the uwl.webflow XML I did not find an entry with that Task no. either.
Whats wrong ?? Why the task/workitem is being shown in UWL but not in the XML ?? Is it even possible ??

Hi Rajat,
For the items to appear in UWL, they need to be part of one of the XML files.
You are checking in wrong XML file.
Check in uwl.webflow.SAP_WebDynpro_XSS.
Second part, you don't need to or rather you shouldn't modify this ML file. Because every time you register the connector this file will be regenerated.
For more details on how to hide work items refer to SAP note 1437432.
In short
1. Create an XML file with any name say Hide Tasks.xml
2. An entry in this file might look like

Task server not showing up?

I have three services running:
ZAM Collection client
ZAM collection server
ZAM Task Server
But when I go into the Enterprise Admin console, I only see a Collection
server
Task Server is blank
I even submitted a network scan task and it does not show up in Tasks
Am I doing something wrong?

These tabs in the Manager never refresh automatically - on any IR. The
Tasks one (ie active tasks) does though, every so often...
I have the same issue except its not that simple, the task server is running but refuses to show up in the Manager even after F5 and also restaring the Manager.
Any ideas?

Wrong URL on Notification emails

Hi,
Í configured Portal & KM to send emails and it is working fine but the emails arrives with a wrong URLs to the documents etc.., when the email is originated as a result of a subscription it sends the email with URL´s like http://<%hostname%>/irj/go/km..........
so when clicking on the link it can go to the document cause of the <%hostname%> in the link instead of the real hostname or domain and it does not contain the 50000 port either.
and when the email is generated when a Task is created it sends the URLs like http://localhost:1080/irj..........
so it cant go to the Portal to access the link.
Does anyone knows how to fix this issues?

Thanx Alot for the answer it helped me out to solve one of the issues, The emails on subscription notifications arrives Ok now thanx to your help.
The emails generated when creating a task or a task alert is still arriving wrong, like this http://localhost:1080/irj...................

Task Component disappeared in WSM with LDAP.

Hi,
I installed SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.
When I tried to login to WSM URL http://hostname:port/ccore/, I could login with admin/oracle account.
Then, all works well.
But, I want to use WSM with LDAP.
So, I edited the file $ORACLE_HOME/owsm/config/ccore/ui-config-installer.properties.
In that file I commented jdbc items first.
I commented out LDAP items and changed values to my LDAP server’s information.
Then, executed ./wsmadmin.sh deploy welcome1 control.
I could see the message ‘BUILD SUCCESSFUL’.
I tried to login WSM URL again, I could login with ldap account oc4jadmin/welcome1.
But, in the WSM main page there is no Task Component.
What’s wrong with my action?

In Photoshop CS5 why does Camera Raw 6.7 not open a Crw Raw Image?

I am running Windows XP Pro 32 bit system,with AMD ALthon 2600 processor.When I first installed Photoshop CS5 it would not open at all.After hours on the internet searching for online help from Adobe,L came across a on line chat.They said I needed a update for CS5.I downloaded the update and installed it and Photoshop opened up.Ithought this had solved my problem.Days Later I tried opening some Crw Raw Negatives.They would not open in Bridge or Mini Bridge.So I tried opening the raw image in Photoshop,a box pops up and says photoshop could not complete the task because it was the wrong image type.I have tried to get help in the General discussion forum,so far noyhing has worked.Also I forgot How to get to the online chat site,if anyonehas any ideas or where this site is It would help a lot......Thanks.

Problems with string arrays

Previous task was:
Write a class "QuestionAnalyser" which has a method "turnAnswerToScore". This method takes a String parameter and returns an int. The int returned depends upon the parameter:

Alright, here's the recent task:
Write another method "turnAnswersToScore". This method takes an array of Strings as a parameter, works out the numerical score for each array entry, and adds the scores up, returning the total.
That's my code:

Error configuring Microsoft SQLSERVER 2005 with OIM 9.1.0.1

Hi All,
I was trying to Configure Microsoft SQLSERVER 2005 as a IT Resource with OIM 9.1.0.1. However after completing all the configuration,
When I tried assigning the configured SQLSERVER IT Resource to a User, following error is thrown:
Response: wrong number of arguments
Response Description: Unknown response received
Notes:
*Assigned to User: System Administrator[XELSYSADM]*
Error Details
Setting task status... "wrong number of arguments" does not correspond to a known Response Code. Using "UNKNOWN".
If anyone has encountered this error before, then please help.

Are you using the Database User Management connector and trying to provision accounts to a MS SQL Server? Can you also post the logs from the error.

Copying data to multiple fields

I have a number of forms which have been created in Acrobat 8 Professional using the Acrobat tools (not LiveCycle) where I need data entered in one field to copy to another. Usually this data is text. I have used the following Javascript in the Calculate tab in field properties:
event.value = this.getField("SOURCE FIELD").value;
In order to allow for a single point of data entry, the fields to which the data is copied are locked and flagged as read only. Most of the time this works, however I have been getting multiple support calls where the forms fail to follow the script. I've tried many options including PDF optimization. I've ensured that users are using the same version of Acrobat Reader (8.1.2).
Is there a better way to accomplish this task?
Is there something wrong with the JavaScript?
I'm not very sophisticated with Javascript and would appreciate any assistance. Thanks!

There is a user preference that controls whether automatic calculations are performed. Perhaps some users have turned this off. The most likely possibility is the field calculation order is not correct.
If you've checked both of those things and it still doesn't work, can you give an example of some text that this doesn't work with?
A different approach that avoids these issues is instead of setting up a custom calculation script in the read-only field, you can use something like the following in the Validate script of the text entry field:
getField("destination_field").value = event.value;
This way it will work if automatic calculations are turned off, and the calculation order doesn't come into play.

Itunes wont open after snow lep upgrade

upgraded to snow lep. went through all software updates rebooted multiple times. Itunes wont launch, when I double click it gives me an unexpextedly quit window, downloaded itunesx reinstalled....nothing...........so an apple app, doesnt play well with an apple os?

It is likely an issue with the iTunes Library file.
You can rebuild it by following this article:

If you rebuild the library, it should take care of the problem. I would make sure you have a Time Machine backup before starting any major task, just in case something wrong happens. Better safe, than sorry.

Agent determination for workflow

Hi everyone,
I have a classic issue: I'm trying to assign a workflow task to an agent. The agent should be determined from the container element "APPROVER". In the task I've entered the expression &APPROVER&; however, I'm receiving error "Agent determintaion for step 4 failed..." "Result of agent determination does not agree with agents of task". And, yes, I've made sure the APPROVER element is of type Import and has a proper value.
I don't get this; I thought setting the agent to the value of the container element should do the job? After all, the container element "APPROVER" comes up in the F4 search help under the Decision tab of the task... what's wrong here?
The WF works fine if I set the "WF_Initiator" as the agent, however. But, this is a bit limiting in the long run...

Better generate and statspack/AWR and analyse the report to find queries which are causing heavy load for the time period in which database consuming high CPU. You can use top command from OS level to check the process are consuming heavy load.

Excel and Acrobat 7

Hi,
I am trying to print/convert 2 of 3 sheet in an excel (2003) document to pdf. When I preview the document, I can see that there are two sheets. I am expecting both sheets to be converted to one document, however Acrobat tries to create 2 documents of the same name. It pops up a Save File As dialog box for page one and then for page 2 instead of creating one file with both pages.
I have played around and gotten it to print both pages to one file, but I am unable to get it to do it consistently.
Can you please assist me with figuring out what setting I can configure to ensure that it will always work as expected...meaning, if I try to convert two pages from one file to pdf, it should convert to one pdf file with two pages.

OK - Just so I understand correctly, I recently spent $1400 on a state of the art computer with the latest and greatest capabilities. Concurrently, I puchased Acrobat X, also new and improved. Since Acrobat X can't complete this simple task, I must have the wrong computer. Is that what you are saying?
