WSRP Provider registration fails for OC4J10.1.3 container (stack), why?

Successfully installed the portlet container in an OC4J 10.1.3 standalone environment. Reconfigured datasources and successfully tested JDBC access. Also could deploy the sample.ear to the OC4J 10.1.3 container and verified it via obtaining the ?WSDL. But...
Registering a WSRP provider in Oracle Portal 10.1.4 failes when trying to retrieve information over ?WSDL with the following stacktrace:
An error occurred during the call to the WSRP Provider:
Java stack trace from root exception:

          OraWSRP_v1_ServiceDescription_PortType.getServiceDescription(
Unknown Source) What could be wrong?

Seems the (installation procedure of) portlet-container is not compatible with OC4J 10.1.3 standalone. (Is the JSR-168 portlet-container supported for 10.1.3?
Solved the initial issue by placing the missing cache.jar in the shared libraries directory of 10.1.3, but this only gets me to the next error. A class cast exception for JAXB.

  • Registration Failed for RFC

I have created RFC connection in XI. Test connection failed since I had not registered Gateway for that RFC. Using Visual Administrator and then JCo RFC Provised I tried to register RFC using Gateway. But it failed to register and fired a up with the message "Error Registering Gateway" Check the log.
Can some one help me since I have got a deadline.

  • Virtual Machine Cloud - Provider registration failure

    Hi,
I've successfully installed the Admin portal on a dedicated server and installed VMM SP1 2012 with SPF on a separate server.
I was also able to register the SPF, but unfortunately, when I try to register the System Centre Provider, I get the following generic message:
"Failed to register VM Cloud provider 'test'" - An error occurred while processing this request".
    Any ideas?
    Thank you,
    Stephane

I have done SPF and SCVMM Integration in KATAL portal more than 10 times, but i haven't faced this error,
SPF registration is done, only issue happens with SCVMM Integration, Am i right ?
or u missed the integration of SPF ? first integrate SPF then SCVMM, it will work , Issue arises because of Permission, make service accounts as local admins
Have u done post installation config from hyper-v nu links ? like make spf-svc as a admin in SCVMM console
spf-svc should be member of 3 local admin groups in KATAL Server
    Cross check basic things,
User Access Control set to never notify in All All Servers ( KATAL,SPF and SCVMM)
open windows powershell with admin rights and set execution policy to unrestricted in All Servers ( KATAL,SPF and SCVMM)
Open IE as Administrator and try to Add SCVMM again in KATAL Admin portal.
f System Center Cloud Provider registration failed for VMM Clouds then we can Unregister
the failed system Center Cloud Provider.
    For that
Open SQL Instance of Katal Portal, Expand Microsoft.MgmtSvc.Store. Database, Expand Tables
Choose mp.ResorcesProviders, Edit Top 200 Rows and delete systemcenter value
Read mentioned articles, it will help you

  • Register WSRP Provider failed

    Hi,
I'm trying to register a WSRP provider (using WSRP Preview Portal) but it is failing.
The Provider is deployed on a OC4J standalone version (running on the development machine).
The URL is accessible through a webbrowser:
    http://10.1.40.87:8888/javaPortlets/portlets?WSDL
here is the error message I get when finishing the registration process:
An error occurred when attempting to call the providers register function. (WWC-43134)
An error occured during the call to the WSRP Provider: Java stack trace from root exception:

    . (WWC-43273)
Register WSRP providers running directly on the Portal-Machine is working.
Is this a problem with the proxy settings? If yes: I can't see the 'Proxy Settings' part in the 'Services' Portlet (as I can see it in the 'normal', not the preview, portal) to change the settings.
What else could cause this problem?

  • Hello, I am attempting to install Camera raw from a .zip file provided via a link provided by adobe for a Nikon D810. The .zip file unzips fine and I moved the files to the recommended folder. But the operation is failing

I am attempting to install Camera raw from a .zip file provided via a link provided by adobe for a Nikon D810. The .zip file unzips fine and I moved the files to the recommended folder. But the operation is failing

Can you describe what “the operation is failing” means?  What is happening and how is it different than what you expect?
Also, what product are you trying to update manually, and do you have a link to the page of instructions, so we know what your attempting to do?

  • Parameter validation failed. It is not possible to provide valid values for all parameters

I'm trying to test passing in parameter values from the URL.    I have RS 2008 .   I created an ultrasimple report based on a stored procedure output.  There is no validation, No available values, No default values.
I'm trying to run the report like this:
    /Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fProduction%2fDBA+Reports%2fTest&iTest=1
    I get:
Parameter validation failed. It is not possible to provide valid values for all parameters. (rsParameterError)
the one int parameter is iTestId
The RS log file says the following:
    processing!ReportServer_0-54!9138!01/25/2013-09:22:51:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Parameter validation failed. It is not possible to provide valid values for all parameters., ;
Info: Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Parameter validation failed. It is not possible to provide valid values for all parameters.
    What am I missing?

    Hi F-ram,
From your description, you want to pass multiple parameters via URL, right? To pass multiple parameters through URL, we can use an ampersand (&) to separate them. For example, I have a report with two parameters p1 and p2. The report is deployed in a
folder on the Report Server. When I navigate to the report on the Report Server, I can see the report URL is http://localhost/ReportServer_SQL2008NEW/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fFolder%2fReport&rs:Command=Render.
If I need to pass parameters through URL, I can just add &p1=value1&p2=value2 at the end of the URL and the entire URL would be http://localhost/ReportServer_SQL2008NEW/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fFolder%2fReport&rs:Command=Render&p1=value1&p2=value2
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

    The message

indicates that a component with the same name already exists in the target. However, this component does not come from the same source as the one in the transport set (hence the difference in the id). This could also happen if the same component name was used to create objects in the target environment.
In order for pre-check to succeed, you will either have to rename the components in source (and re-export them i.e., create new dumps) or rename them in target so they don't clash.

  • BizTalk Powershell Provider Mount remote BizTalk drive: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'

I've been dabbling in the Powershell BizTalk Provider Extensions for some automation of deployment and such. So far it's pretty cool on a local machine, but the real benefits to me would be to do it remotely. Does anyone have any experience in the with the
    following issue?
My BizTalk Server and SQL Servers are on separate machines which I think is the issue, but I don't know how to resolve. I've tried to provided credentials to the New-PSDrive command, but get the following errors:
The provider does not support the use of credentials. Perform the operation again without specifying credentials.
I'm trying to manage a remote BizTalk instance. The machine running the script has biztalk fully configured and can connect
to the Target Server just fine. The issue comes when I try to mount the "BizTalk:" drive
    Enter-pssession -computername myServer -configurationname microsoft.powershell32
    $InitializeDefaultBTSDrive = $false;
    Remove-PSSnapin -Name BizTalkfactory.PowerShell.Extensions;
    Add-PSSnapin -Name BizTalkfactory.PowerShell.Extensions;
New-PSDrive -Name BizTalk -PSProvider BizTalk -Root "BizTalk:\" -Instance mySqlServer -Database BizTalkMgmtDb -Scope Global
When it get to the New-PSDrive I get the following error:
New-PSDrive : Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.
    + CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (BizTalk:PSDriveInfo) [New-PSDrive], BtsException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : 0,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.NewPSDriveCommand
Has anyone experienced this and solved? The same error occurs when use Invoke-Command as well.

It seems that the PowerShell provider is not Microsoft Support, it is community supported through the CodePlex site -
    http://psbiztalk.codeplex.com
Right, I posted there as well, but there is not much movement on the site. I was hoping to find if this larger community may have had some experience with the provider.

  • Server Error In '/' Application - Login failed for user xyz ...

    Hi, I'm brand new here
I would be ever grateful for help on this. It's probably something simple.
I'm coding a website in C# ASP.NET (http://project.arcza.net). There is a registration page where you send your email, username all that stuff to an SQL server. The SQL server runs on my IIS server too. On Visual Studio, I can debug the website (i.e. launch
it on localhost:12345) and I get a fully working website that I can register as a user and it injects into the SQL server's table. If I query the SQL server, I see the results. So it works fine here.
The problem: if I copy the files for the website into the live IIS directory (as opposed from the Visual Studio preview environment) I get a runtime error thing, I have no idea what this means. The live IIS folder is project.arcza.net and I have disabled
security so you can see the full workings of the probem.
It says login failed for user 'pap'. Pap is a user I have added in SQL server, with username pap and password pap. The credentials are correct. I have added a 'connection string' (I have very little idea what this is) with thees credentials for an SQL server
    @ localhost, in IIS manager.
Thank you and if you have any idea I'd be very happy.
I should also point out that if I edit properties of pap in SQL server's login thing where it lists the accounts, I cannot save the settings (you know the ones where you give it permissions to access, delete, etc?) I can tick them and click okay but if I
reoped properties and click on (I think off the top of my head it's called 'securities' but I may be wrong, it's 2nd from the bottom of the pane on the left) I see the tickboxes remain unticked. Could this have something to do with the "login failed for
    'pap'" message I'm seeing?

    Have a look at
Errorlog. you should get reason of login failed for user.

  • WSRP Producer registration (unstable behaviour)

    Hi,
I'm currently using JDev 10.1.3.3.0 build 4157 and building a webcenter application which makes use of both WSRP and PDK-Java portlets. I'm getting strange errors with WSRP Producer registration: in order to simplify things this description refers to the RichTextPortlet which is a prebuilt portlet but the problem is happening with every WSRP portlet producer, not with PDK-Java producers:
When I create the producer for the RichTextPortlet everything works perfectly, I run my app and personalize the portlet without problems. However, after several runs the portlets start to show the "Portlet unavailable" message and the server logs says something about the producer registration being wrong. When I test the producer connection in JDev it checks ok but if I try to refresh it, it fails. If I register an identical producer it works fine but the original producer doesn't.
The exception I get when I refresh the producer registration is:
oracle.portlet.client.container.PortletRemoteException: WSRP producer responded with an error (InvalidRegistrationException)

  • 'SIM card registration failed' on Nokia 6300 - fin...

I have two Nokia 6300 phones (I know, they are pretty old now, but there's no point me switching them while these still work!). I had one with me when I worked in New York and it worked fine out there with a US pay-as-you-go SIM card. The other one I saved to use in the UK when I was here, and it has a UK pay-as-you-go SIM (Tesco). I have now moved back to the UK and want to use both phones with my UK SIM card, however the one I used in America says 'SIM card registration failed' and won't find any reception when i put my SIM card (or any SIM card) in to it.
I'd be extremely grateful for any help/advice people can offer.
    Thanks!

card registration failed means it has been locked out by the service provider
Did you buy the phone NEW?? is so take it back they will exchange it
If you bought it used chances are who ever sold it has reported it lost or stolen or It was stolen before they sold it
I had this on a Brand new N95 which was exchanged by the shop some one had either Palmed it while looking in the shop or just stolen the ID from it

  • 6234 SIM registration failed??

Okay, nokia 6234, was on vodafone nz but changed to 2degrees, was fine for a couple of months but then I noticed someting about my service - there was none. I changed my SIM back to vodafone and whenever phone turned on/send a msg/call "SIM registration failed" comes up. hmm. tried the vodafone SIM in another 6234 and same thing happened, put a new 2degrees SIM in mine and nothing changed, but the new SIM worked in the other 6234...

You should contact your service provider (Operator). They probably can tell you if there is some problems in your Sim card

  • Sim Registration Failed

I bought a Nokia 2700c at July 24, 2010 at the local store on the nearby city. The very intention for the phone was for texting only, so getting it unlocked is not necessarily an option for me unless the sim that I'd insert it with is locked out. I live in the Philippines and was supposed to have this phone with Smart / Talk 'n Text sim mainly for texting only to find out that the network provider was locked out and I had to go to the network provider to have it unlocked, with a fee of course, which is out of my option so I inserted a sim from another network instead. I decided to insert Touch Mobile in it and was surprised to see that I could send text messages with it even to the other networks. I seldom use this phone and almost never unless I have to. Then one day I decided to try out downloading some new themes for this phone which failed due to my network provider not having a gprs support (funny but true). The problem occurred after that. When I turn on my phone, all of a sudden a message popped up upon boot of the phone saying that "Sim Registration Failed". I read somewhere about it online and came to the conclusion that the phone was blacklisted among the network providers in the country. Is this fixable? How do I go about fixing this phone? Btw, it's still under warranty and I'm thinking of referring it to the shop I bought it in.
Btw, here's an info about the phone (from the box):
    Nokia 2700c
    IMEI: ***************
    ITEM: ******
    Moderator's Note:
We have edited your post as it contains the IMEI of your phone. For your security, we do not allow posting personal  information in the discussion board. Thank you for understanding.

I've already tried re-inserting the sim but it didn't work. I've also tried inserting a sim from another network -- same result. >_____< The phone was meant for texting only so I didn't bother having it unlocked by those network providers which are locked out from the phone. Btw, pardon me for posting the problem here. There's no discussion section on the Philippines Site of Nokia.
