WT200 - WLan manager is asking me to turn on the radio

I have just bought a WT200 tablet and the wireless manager is asking me to turn on the radio using the "notebook Switch". My Toshiba laptop has a physical switch but the tablet doesn't. Does anybody know how to turn the radio on?

Are you trying to enable the WLan on the Toshiba notebook or tablet?
Notebooks WLan needs to be enabled by FN button combination did you do that.
For WT200 its not needed to enable the WLan since there is no physical switch but you should ensure that Wireless Communication function is ON
You can configure the Wlan in Start -> control panel -> network and internet -> network and sharing center
And here tap Set up new connection or network
Furthermore in Start -> All Programs ->Toshiba -> network & Connectivity -> Wlan indicator settings
You could display the system Wlan connection status

It's not referring to your old phone, it's referreing to the one you're trying to restore to. Where did you get the phone you're trying to restore the backup to?

If you don't see the radio icon on the home screen, it is likely just turned off in the settings. Go to
Settings > General > Home Screen >
There you will see radio listed. Make sure that the slider is set to ON.

My phone don't charge without turning off the radio signal on the phone.

My phone do not hold a charge unless I turn off the radio on the phone or remove the sim card. Prior to this it while charging a black plug used to replace the lightening bolt on the battery symbol. However, while the radio is off the plug do not appear. Please advise.

Are you sure that the battery is good enough or have you tried to use another Good BlackBerry battery , if not then try to arrange a fully charged battery and test it on your device , it will reveal if the problem is within your device or the Battery itself.

Turn off the radio in access connection

I am going to deploy AccessConnection 5.33 on XP to a number of clients and I want to turn off the radio with a vbscript when users log off. I have heard that this can be done in the registry but I haven't found the correct key.
(I don't want to use Fn+F5 to do this)
Does anyone know what reg.key to use?

I don't know about the registry or any vbscript but there is one option in the access connection setting that say turn off all wireless connection when the user log off....
it's under the advanced screen, global setup (or whatever is called; i'm using chinese) and the third checkbox under the network tab...give that a try...might need to do that as admin to apply to all user?
maybe that's what are you looking for or a good place to start?

Later found them, and un clicked them all. Also I might have been hacked, because I was charged yesterday with an App, that I did not order!!!
I only know that, because I get an instant message from my bank by phone, when I spend any money. I am worried.

It sounds like you changed your forum account preferences and now they have changed back, and you have an unauthorized purchase on your iTunes Store account and have concerns about your account security. I recommend first changing your Apple ID password with this article:

Click “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.

Click "Password and Security".
In the "Choose a new password" section, click Change Password.
Enter your old password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Click Save when done.
The next time you use an Apple feature or service that uses Apple ID, you'll be asked to sign in with your new Apple ID password

Turn off the radio automatically on a schedule?

I was wondering if anyone has had success in automatically turning off the AP radio automatically that is based on time of day? We are thinking of turning it off with a script. Can this be done through an SNMP statement?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You can certainly achieve this using the Wireless Lan Solutions Engine, and that uses SNMP to configure the APs, so it should be possible to do it through using an SNMP statement.

WRT150N - Is is possible to turn off the radio transmission?

I have a WRT150N. I currently use it as a router, accessing the Internet through a cable, not the wireless radio signal.
I would like to turn the wireless radio signal off because the radio interferes slightly with my Plantronics CT12 headset phone.
Is there a way to completely turn off the broadcast of the radio signal?
I did set the Wireless Network Mode to "disabled", but I have read elsewhere on this forum that this does NOT disable the broadcast of the radio signal.
I would be grateful for any help.

You need to have to disable the wireless broadcast ... for the router .... you can change the wireless channel on it
Radio Band - 40Mhz
Wide Channel - 6
Standard Channel - 8 ...
Click save settings ...
Again check that the issue occurs or not ....

Frozen Screen Once I turn on the radio for mobile network

I downloaded 7.1 via wireless on my torch and ever since have nothing but headaches. The torch will not connect and totally freezes when I turn on the network mobile within network connections and my sim card is loaded. If I take the sim card out of the phone and place the battery back in the phone will unlock and allow me remove the mobile setting from on to off.
Any ideas?

I would suggest backing up and doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320. Please test before restoring any data to the device.
If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

My iphone4 recently stopped working in my car and no longer asks for audio sources. It is paired and turns off the radio when a call occurs but does not utilize the speakers or mic in the car.

My iPhone recently stopped asking for audio source in car and no longer works through the speakers. It pairs with the vehicles just fine, turns off music, but I must use the actual phone to communicate. What happened?

The same problem I have today afternoon.
My car audio system is compatible with iPod USB connector and worked fine for also 6 months.
When connecting my iPod nano 6rd gen via USB to car audio system, iPod displays on its screen a sucessfull connection, and music tracks is successfully displayed on the car audio system. But do not play. Switch forward or backward by playlist (by the buttons on the car audio system) works also, but still there is no start playback.
I tried plugged my iPhone 5 via USB to car audio system - it's works fine.
I plugged iPod to my mac computer - itunes says it's all Ok.
I am confused and do not understand what is happening.
May be restoring to default factory settings iPod....

How do I turn off the radio station streaming I used several days ago on Safari?

I went to local npr.org radio station in Safari and listened for the afternoon. When I closed out the tab, the station continued playing, and now every time I get on Safari, the station starts playing. I have closed out Safari, rebooted computer, even trashed Flip4 app and still can't get it to stop. Every time I open Safari, which I like to use, I am listening to WAMU in DC. Ideas? Thanks! Kate

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Interleaving isnt a prob for me - check your routing! It is the VERY POOR performance of the ealing route for me. I come into BT with 5 ping and they manage to ruin it with 25+ ping & **bleep** jitter. I get sub 10 pings with KC & Virgin. Big deciding factor in how I pick my internet!

Welcome to the community.
Try to create connection through the access point from the settings tab, make sure you place your WLAN to priority 1.
Go to your router and disable the security settings,If that doesn't work then you will have to change the password and you'll also need to change the frequency band of the router
It should be noted that the latter is not possible with all types of router.
Still no luck ? Then contact your service provider for further assistance .
