WT6 PL10 - Synch not completing - Error during Order Synch

Hello everyone,
I have upgraded an environment to WT6 PL10 and the Synch never completes itself and I get the following error during an order synch:
-5002:Internal error (-5002) occurred
   at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SBOObjects.SBODocument.NP_2_SBO(Documents& document, NPOrder order)
   at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SBOObjects.SBOOrder.NetPointToSBO(NPQueueObject qData)
   at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SynchObjectBase.Synch()
Unfortunately the synch was not tested on any previous version of WT so I cannot be sure how to track it down unless I uninstall and go back to PL 8 which I know works. What I mean by the Synch never completes is that the last line it shows is:
Completed SynchNotification.
And then it never finishes, never deletes the rows from the Transaction Queues on either side, and I have to close out of the Synch Manager to get it to run again. If anyone else has had these problems, please let me know.

Hi Kristen,
That one is tough.
How long have you allowed in to go before restarting? If the queues are large, it might take a while.
I would try opening up a SQL trace and seeing what is going on.
Also, you might run sp_who2 in SQL to see if processes are getting locked.
Do you have a synchplugin on this?

I am getting the factory calendor does not exist error while creating the order. For this i will explain the details for this issue and guide me where is the problem.
we are doing reconfiguration for the new plant in the client. In this client we are now creating new plant and doing the reconfiguration. While creating the order in new plant i am getting the below error message. i have assigned the existing factory calendor of the old plant to new plant in the existing client. i am thinking that factory calendor is not plant based. In work center i have assigned the factory calendor of old plant for the new plant work center. Please guide me.

Have you performed all PP configuration for 1007?
It means i have created order type and order type parameters, availability check,scheduling, conformation steps for the ordre type.
Master data,routing, bom creted in cewb with change number and assigned to routing in cewb.
And factory calendor assigned in work center as old plant calendor only.
Other tahn this nay steps need to consider for creation of order. anything i have missed. Please guide me.

Factory calendor is not plant specific. i think with in a client i can assign same calendor to new plant also. anywhere i have not observed the calendor as plant wise. please guide me.

Have you created a work center in 1007? Does the work center have a factory calendar that actually exists?
The above two steps i have done.
Have you created a routing for this material in 1007, with operations in that only include work centers assigned to 1007, and assigned the routing to this material in 1007?

Could not Complete Error with swatches

Hi, I am running an action that Resets Swatches in PS6 and allows me to paint in Black or White. However everytime it gets to the Reset Swatches the action gived me a "could not complete" error. If I press OK it does reset the swatches.
Likewise I have an axtion that Flips swatches, any action that has a reset swatches part fails.
If I try to manually switch swatches I get the same error
Any ideas what the problem could be please?

Did you record the action in photoshop cs6 or is the action from an earlier version of photoshop?
Have you applied the latest updates for photoshop cs6 by going to Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6?
Have you tried resetting the photoshop cs6 preferences?

Prepayment functionalitygives an error during Order Entry

We have oracle applications Suite - 11i (11.5.10.2) .
At time of prepayment during Order Entry form, we are getting following error.
_"Function not available to this responsibility. Change responsibilities or contact your system administrator" ._
Following is the Navigation Path :
Sales Order Entry > Query with existing SO > Others TAB > Select ACTIONS button > Select PAYMENTS option .

This is because the Function that is invoked when you select the Payments Action from Sales Order Screen has not been granted to your responsibility. The best way is to check the ONT_SUPER_USER menu in application Developer (this is the menu that is used by order Management super user), and see what all functions are there (manily the ones without prompts like 'Sales Orders: Print Payment Receipt'). ANd then compare the same with the menu that your responsibility is using (System Adminsitrator >> Security >> Responsibilities). I think you should get your answer. Please let me know.

Checkpoint not complete error

i am having oracle 11gR1 in windows 2003 server. i got the below mentioned error very frequently. I was having 4 redolog groups with 2 member each. After surfing in internet and discussion i have added 4 new groups of redo log with 2 member each. After adding i dint get the below error till now.

Checkpoint not complete

Hi,
You need to find a proper balance between the number of redo log groups, the redo size and eventually the speed of the storage used to store the redo log files.
By adding more redo log groups, you actually "delay" the moment when the redo log group will need to be re-used (goes round-robin).
At the same time, increasing the size of your redo logs will also increase the "loop back" time, but too large redo logs can / will increase recovery in case of instance crash.
Increasing the number of ARCn processes may also help.
Is that the perfect solution??????????????????????????????If you find one, let it be known!!
But you can of course find a proper balance. Some tests based on knowledge you can gain from documentation is a "perfect" start.

Right ?You have some groups of redo log, each redo log has members with same information. Redo log run in a circular way, when a group is full, changes to the next group of redo log and when the last group is written continue overwritten the first group.

Publisher not specified error during autorun from cd

Hello,
I am trying get rid of the publisher not specified when launching ADOBE PDF Doc from a CD. Can you please tell me how to get this option removed?
The autorun.inf is as follows

I guess I had to try something here.
Apparently when you use the autorun.inf you have to call the actual Adobe Acrobat reader program instead of the PDF File itself. Now I am no longer getting the "Publisher Not Specified" error message but when I click on the Adobe program to run I am now getting "adobe reader core dll failed to load".
How can I call the Adobe Acrobat program from the source location on the hard drive. If you load the pdf file on the same CD you get the "publisher not specified" error. Now I am trying to figure out how to call any of the installed versions of Adobe Reader. I am currently running Adobe Reader X but some customers might have Version 8 or 9. Does anyone know how to call any version of Adobe Reader from the autorun.inf file?
I called Adobe Support but they didn't answer my question. So maybe they know how to fix a pretty standard error based on the Google Searches.

Sales order stock does not exist error during PGI

dear sir,
we have two plants 1010 and 1020,we are using variant configuration for our finished goods
we want to make the sales orders in 1010 plant and we manufacture the machine in 1020 plant.
so we want to dispatch machine from 1020 plant (shipping point),eventhough we make sale order in 1010 plant.
but while doing PGI ,system shows one error message "Sales order stock does not exist" message 184,area M7.
if we see in MMBE stock of finished good is available in 1020(made 412 E movement)
how to resolve this

There can be two reasons for these kind of error
- Your sales doc while creating this order & your item category is marked with special stock indicator as E and after this order is created you have not reserved stocks in your plant against this order. This reservation can be done in tcode MB1B movement type 412 E.
- Let say, if it is reserved then check the same in tcode MMBE stocks reserved for your sales order.
Otherwise reservation you may have done properly with correct movement types with special stock indicator E. But while creating the your sales order with item category may not have been marked with special stock indicator E. In this case even though the system has stocks reserved for that order and that order when comes for PGI system doesn't sense.
In either of the case, you have to again do the process.

Error during Full Synch Batch Risk Analysis - RAR

Hi All,
We are implementation SAP GRC AC 5.3 - SP 9 - RAR
Currently we have uploaded the text objects and permission objects and performed full sych for User, Roles & Profile with the backend system and it was successful
Then we have uploaded all the RAR Standard text files for SoD Rules and scheduled a Full Sych for Batch Risk Analysis as a post installation activity. But we got an error as below after 85% of completion and the background job failed.
WARNING: Error: while executing BatchRiskAnalysis for JobId=12 and object(s):T-RD470878: Skipping error to continue with next object: Batch rolled back. Caused by java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-01653: unable to extend table SAPSR3DB.VIRSA_CC_PRMVL by 8192 in tablespace PSAPSR3DB
Can somebody please help us in resolving the above error message. Is it something to do with the table space availablity ?
What are the consequences if we have not scheduled the Full Synch Batch Risk Analysis and start using the tool.We have to add some custom t-codes to the Standard rule set thereby tailoring it to the business requirement.

As Gangadhar mentioned this is a tablespace issue. You need to make sure to have enough space while running full sync risk analysis job. Please extend your database space and run the risk analysis job again.

Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item not filled - Error during GR

Hi
When we tried to do MIGO for a non stock material (Account assignment category K), we are getting an error message that "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled". The interesting factor is that we did the GR for similar kind of PO a week before. This PO is exact replica of the old one but wondering why we are getting this error now.
Please help me in resolving this issue as well as please let me know why it did worked in the earlier time and not now.

Pleaes note that it is not allowing me to enter the profit center, neither in PO nor in GR.
I created two different POs.
a. Both are for non stock material with account assignment category 'K'
b. Material group for both the POs are same.
c. GL Account i entered in both the POs are same.
d. CO area entered in both the POs are same.
e. Ogranizational details of both the POs are same.
f. Ofcourse 'Ordering Unit' is different in both the POs.
When i tried to make a GR for the first PO, it is automatically proposing the profit center and i can post the GR. But when i tried the second PO, it is nether defaulting the profit center nor asking for profit center. It is giving an error message "Balancing field Profit Center in the line item 001 not filled.
We have not changed the profit center or any configirutaions and when we tried to do the GR simultaniously for both the POs, one get posted correctly and the other one is giving this error message.
Can any one of you please let me know what should be the reason ?

Installation not completed - error at step# 10

I was not able to get past step #10 to establish a passcode because it came up with an "error in configuration" and would not let me proceed. Yet, even though I just had to exit without completing installation, now all of my family is able to connect wirelessly with our laptops and all seems fine, but did I miss any important steps after #10 that will cause problems in use later? This router is installed in a vacation rental a long distance from our home so I want to make sure it is correct before we leave.

but to make sure that the router has properly connected get in to the interface go to the status and check if yOu can get an IPaddress and DNS from there...
