XML data not displayed on external applications (Adobe, PowerPoint, Word)

Hi,
I have imported an XML file into Xcelsius using the XML data connection button in Xcelsius 2008 SP1.
I would like to test whether the model is correctly picking up the data when XML file is updated.
The XML file is stored locally on my PC.
I'm able to view and refresh the data in Preview mode and in the .SWF file but when exporting to Adobe, PowerPoint or Word, I get #2148 error on opening.
I did add the path to the swf file and xml file in the Flash Player security settings with no success.
Any suggestions welcome

Hi Jenni,
Adobe PDF usually works because like Xcelsius it allows the SWF to load data from anywhere so I am not sure why that one would not work...
When you export to PowerPoint or Word that probably counts as a different SWF so try adding the folder where the PPT/DOC lives as trusted instead.
When I am in a VM I tend to add C:\ folder as trusted (meaning I can run a SWF anywhere on my C drive in the VM with trusted permissions).

I have just started learning XML so bear with me. I have a xml document that I created and want to use a stylesheet to display it in html but it doesn't seem to be working. Here is the xml file:

Mod date not displaying in Files panel Dreamweaver CC

After upgrading to Dreamweaver CC, on OS X Mtn Lion, my Files pane will not display the Modification Date for both local and remote files. The column is there, but it's blank. I have tried hiding and showing that column in the Sites setup, but that did not work. Any ideas?

I can confirm that the solution posted by crockej does indeed work, I am not by any means saying that it is a perfect solution, and am sure that it is not the actual fix, but it does work, I landed up having to add JPG,GIF,PNG,PDF,SWF,FLA,ICO,SWZ,MPR,PSD,XLSX,INDD,AI all to fy file list and although this was 90% of the missing icons fixed, it still requires more like m4v etc.
Think of this as more of a temporary solution to the problem, but it does work.
This is what my /Users/XXXXX/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS5.5/en_US/Configuration/Extensions.txt file looks like now.

Problem with data not displaying in website

Hello All,
I am having a problem with one of our applications. It is written in ColdFusion and uses SQL server. The problem that we are having is when we use the URL Http://bma.com (that is not actually the site name) we cannot see all the data that it is suppose to pull in. I get an error on page and when I select to view the error this is what I get
Message: 'WddxRecordset' is undefined Line: 184 Char: 2 Code: 0 URI: http://bma.com/user_maintenance.cfm and Message: 'jsusersTLV' is undefined Line: 3208 Char: 6 Code: 0 URI: http://bma.com/user_maintenance.cfm
If I put the IP address in the URL for example http://165.83.109.246/bma/login.cfm all of the data is displayed as it should.
Any thoughts or sugguestios on how to correct this?

Yes, the user_maintenance.cfm is one of the forms that the data is not displaying on. There are multiple forms in the application and that just happens to be one of them. the login.cfm is just the login screen. Once you select your name and enter your password to the application then you can select the user maintenance form. If you select someones name the application should pull in all of that persons information. That is the problem, it is not pulling in any information on the user. We get a blank screen where data should be. When we use the IP address in the URL and select someones name in the user manintenance form, it pulls in all the data from that user as it should.

XML attribute not displayed by stylesheet

I set up a very simple case where some of the input data is in attributes. It works fine for the element content--firstname, however it does not display the attribute requested. What can be wrong? Please help!

If so, I think you need to transform to HTML for a proper display.

KM Repository images,and XML Forms not displaying.

Hello All,
I am currently running NW04 SPS14 Portal with KM & Collaboration.
However, the icons in the Content Management>> Explorer>> Documents repository are not displaying. Instead a little while box, with a red x sign appears in place of the images.
When I launch the XML Forms builder, the application doesnt load.
Also, the content developed using XML forms are no longer displaying, instead I get an error message "<b>Resource cannot be displayed with XML Resource Renderer</b>"
I will appreciate any suggestion that will help to resolve this problem.

Data not displaying on MI client

hii all,
i have created a mi application in which i m fetching data from oracle database, first i have written a code in function module to fetch the data from oracle database in to an internal table and also i checked in ABAP debugging mode.Data is coming in internal table but i have to keep on pressing f6 untill whole data comes.Is there is any problem in using internal table since in other normal case(i.e fetching data from r/3 bcakend) in debugging mode all data is displayed by pressing f6 once only.MI application is running but only structure is coming ,data is not displaying.
Also how can i fetch the oracle table data in to to abap dictionary table(i have already establised the connection with oracle database ).
Can anyone can suggest what can be the problem.

XML Dataset not displaying on any browser

I searched the last six or so pages for a simular issue and came up empty handed so please forgive me if I'm bringing up an old or repeated problem. I assume the issue I'm facing is the result of some small (or large) mistep on my end but have yet to figure it out.
When I created the xml data set from my local server i pulled the data from my database online using the php code for xml provided at adobe labs. You can see the example here: http://kannabooh.ty7.net/includes/xml_create.php. Everything was great and the data loaded in the preview. I created a Master Details Layout using the wizard but when I tested the page or uploaded to the site no data would appear. I've tried multiple browsers, versions and also reloading the data in multiple layout types with no luck.

So just so I understand you do see the template tags. Do you also see the data that is brought in from the file http://kannabooh.ty7.net/includes/xml_create.php because I see the tags but then when the page is completly loaded they disapear and are not replaced with the data I want loaded. Thats my main concern and I worry that its something I'm doing wrong because none of the browsers I'm using show that data. I see the field names that should be populated, their just not being populated. I hope that clears up my concerns.
Currently Im testing on both Windows XP and 7 on my test server I'm using PHP5. Hope that helps.

Crystal Report 2013 - Data not displayed

Dear All
I created one report connecting to SAP Tables directly.
a) I made a new connection - connecting to SAP tables directly.
b) It is connected successuly. It shows all related tables correctly.
c) I selected a table MARA
d) I selected the fields MATNR, ERNAM   (for example)
Completed the report.
But on executing, the data is not displayed.. It idspayes 0 records selcted.. ( no errors also )
Can someone help me... Why the dta is is not fetched...
Effectivley, : No data returns when we execute the report.

    No data returns when refreshing a report in Crystal Report.
    Reports based off an SAP Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), ECC, ERP... or ABAP functions returns no data in Crystal Reports.
Environment

    SAP Crystal Reports 2011
    BusinessObjects Solution for SAP Integration for XI 3.1
Reproducing the Issue
    Verify from the SAP Customer Relationship Management System that the table or function to which Crystal Report will connect to has data.
    In Crystal Report, create a new report using the connection: SAP Table, Cluster, or Function.
    The new connection will use the Open SQL driver to connect to the table of SAP System.
    Add database fields to the Details section of the report.
    Refresh the report.
    The report returns no data.
Cause
    This is an SAP Netweaver Gateway issue that prevents Crystal Reports from retrieving data.
    When looking at the Crystal Reports logs, you will notice the SAP Gateway Connection to the SAP Netweaver System fails with the error:

Spry data not displaying properly (IE Runtime Error)

Built a few pages for a site using Spry to pull in some XML
pages.
They are supposed to update when a certain selection is
chosen and it works flawlessly in Firefox, Opera and Safari but not
in IE.
IE just shows the SPRY placeholders and doesn't push any XML
data into the fields.
I tried to run the browser compatibility and cleaned up
anything that may be affecting it but nothing is showing an error.
The weird thing is, the page has a total of 585 lines but IE
is saying there is an 'Unknown Runtime Error' on the page at Line:
1163 Char: 4.
does the browser continue to count lines as it pulls in
additional information from attached files (like external css,
javascripts, xml, etc.)?
If so, how do I find out where the error is?
i'm pounding my head against the wall trying to solve this,
but i'm not having much luck.
basically, i'm looking for two things:
How to find the error in the code.
How to FIX the code to work in IE.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Send to - Final Cut Pro XML data not seeing my Color render

Sup folks,
As always I did some lurking on these boards and consulted the manual about this issue.
Nada.
I've rendered my shots. They were all queued. They were all rendered.
When I use the Send to -> Final Cut Pro command I get the "not all your clips were rendered" warning. I click yes to see what I will get.
FCP imports the XML data and I get nothing. All of the clips in my FCP timeline generated through the Send to -> Final Cut Pro command are all of my original media prior to my color workflow. Not my graded Color renders.
I did move my renders from a local drive to an external because of data capacity. After doing so I did update my Media, Render and Project paths to the new location of my media.
I thought that would fix my problem. It didnt.
So again: my issue is that even with my shots all rendered correctly (i checked them in QT) the XML being sent to FCP through the Send to -> Final Cut Pro command is not hooking up with my renders.

If I'm following the sequence correctly, you rendered your material to a local drive. Then you moved it, changed the paths (in COLOR), and then tried to "Send to... FCP". Is this correct? If so, doomed to failure. In your case, you may have even moved an empty folder.
There is an ironclad and non-negotiable series of events in rendering and initiating the roundtrip. Many users regard this as a "bug". One of the first things that a user should always do is set up all the target paths before even doing the first grade. But it is essential that the target render path be set up PRIOR to loading the Render Queue. COLOR creates the receiving folder at that time, and that is where the media will go no matter what you do after the RenderQueue is loaded. Change the path, change the format... change whatever you want... the deal has been done, and all will be ignored. However, once the media is rendered and you choose Send To... FCP, then the original XML that FCP sent will be modified by COLOR and passed back to Final Cut. COLOR does NOT,repeat, NOT generate EDLs, XMLs, or any of that stuff. It only modifies original lists. That you modified the Media, Render and Project paths (probably only in the User Preferences tab) is meaningless once the project has been rendered. The Render path for this individual project is determined in the Project Settings pane, along with the render dimensions and format. However, COLOR will observe a path change AFTER the render, and edits the XML re-export to try to find the media in the newly named directory. Of course, your media is actually elsewhere, and you get a blank sequence.
Lastly, make sure that you SAVE the project after renders, to retain the "rendered" clip status -- or COLOR won't remember any of this.

Text File Data not Displaying completely

Hi All,
Have one issue. The program correctly extracts the data & export to Excel. All column /field data's are dispalying.However while saving this data in a text file in Aplications server file path, though all column/ field data are extracting bit it is not displaying complete column/field data's i.e last 3 or 4 column data's are not displaying after 257 character space (but actually it extracts data.It is just not dispalying while i am checking text file via AL11).
What could be the reason of not dipslaying the all column/filed values in text file wherea as while exporting to excel it is displaying? is there any character length constraint for text file?

There is no restriction on the file size which you can upload on the app server. AL11 is nothing but a report program & there is a limitation on the max number of characters displayed on the page.

Data not displayed for Key Figure of MultiProvider

Hi Folks,
I have created a Query on MultiProvider which is actually copied from another Query(based on InfoCube) using RSZC. Now I have the problem with display of data for a KeyFigure in report. No data is displayed for the KeyFigure. The MultiProvider has Two InfoCubes where the KeyFigure is related to one of the two Cubes. The data is shown at the MultiProvider level. I have also checked for a new query on the same MultiProvider. Here too the data is shown in the report for the KeyFigure. But it's not showing in the Query which is copied from another.
Any assistance on the same is really appreciated.
