  • XML EXCEPTION in adobe form

    hi all,
    We've met a XML exception like this:
    we input a no and raise a RFC and get the data and fill in the form. that is ok.
    And when I trigger the submit button, an excepiton is shown:
    "org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Content is not allowed in prolog. "
    I think it is a XML exception..But I don't know how to fix it.
    Can anyone tells me how to do now?
    Best Regards,

    Hello,
    can you please explain your scenario? Do you have a offline form which do you extract the XML data from? Or is that a XML file for/ from WD form? Please provide more details about when the exception occurs.

  • Punchout  Internal XML Exception

    Hi All,
    I got error message, when I try to add office depot catalog items from old shopping cart.
    The error message is:   500       Punchout  Internal XML Exception
    Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks ...

    HI
    At a guess because the description is very vague, I would assume the vendor catalog is using the XML variant of the OCI but is not passing the data in the format expected by the SRM Application, I guess you can test this in transaction XSLT with the XML data passed by the vendor, see if it is rendered there.

  • Xml Exception with JDK1.5

    I wrote some code using java 1.4.2 on a linux machine and it works fine .
    Now I am using the same code using JDK 1.5 on a slorais machine.And it is raising following exception
    javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactoryConfigurationError: Provider org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl not found
    Does any one have any idea?

    Hi
    I've got the same problem with jdk 1.5 and tomcat 5.0 and I've found the problem
    in tomcat java is called with the following argument:
    -Djava.endorsed.dirs="X:\my_app\Portal\tomcat\common\endorsed"
    In this directory you find two jar files: xercesImpl.jar and xml-apis.jar needed by tomcat and that must be loaded before all xmsl stuff present in the jdk (1.4 naming problem). And in the file xml-apis.jar the TransformerFactoryImpl is set to "org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl".
    The solution: remove the file xml-apis.jar from the directory.
    For other application, just check this file or dom3-xml-apis.jar in your class path

  • Failed to deserialize xml exception

    Hey.
    I have reported a problem that I am getting the following exception when I try to call a web service with my client API built by the Weblogic clientgen task:
    weblogic.xml.schema.binding.DeserializationException: mapping lookup failure
    For details see http://forums.bea.com/thread.jspa?threadID=300004484
    The web service client application runs on Weblogic Server 8.1, but I built the web service client API with WLS version 7. Is there a compatibility problem between these 2 version concerning the web service client APIs?

    Due to the fact, that org/apache/xpath/XPathException belongs to xalan, i copied the xalan 2.7.0 to the web-inf/lib directory. But this doesn't solve the problem. I'm tried it also with xalan, xerces and jaxp. Again, it doesn't work.
    Can anybody help me with this problem?
    bye

    Couple of things, possibly unrelated, but not sure.
    You are using JSTL1.0 uris.
    With Tomcat5 you can use JSTL1.1, and the Servlet2.4 spec.
    You would use the URI: <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>
    and also update your web.xml file to declare itself as version 2.4
    You shouldn't need any of the xalan xerces or jaxp classes in web-inf/lib.
    xerces is by default found in the [TOMCAT]/common/endorsed directory.
    The others should be provided with the standard java API.
    I would try with minimal jar files in web-inf/lib
    Occasionally if you include files twice in the classpath it will create ClassNotFoundExceptions like this.
    Hope this helps,

  • Braindead XML exception: TypeError:  #1083:

    I'm trying to compose a large, complex xml document.
    The document *must* use a particular namespace in order to be
    loaded and processed by a third party app (Excel). Here's a valid
    snippit:
    <Cell ss:StyleID="s22"><Data
    ss:Type="String">Start date</Data></Cell>
    The meaning of ss is defined at the beginning the document
    but if I try to assemble the document from pieces, then a runtime
    exception is thrown - TypeError: Error #1083: The prefix "ss" for
    element "ss:Type" is not bound. - because the namespace is checked
    in the pieces before the full document is assembled.
    The only work-arounds I've found is to either build the whole
    thing in one shot as a single document, or copy the namespace
    definition into each component, which makes the document about
    twice as large as it needs to be. This would seem to defeat the
    purpose of XML functions such as appendChild that are designed to
    allow the document to be composed gradually.
    I can't believe that it could really be designed to work this
    way so I'm hopeful that someone will *please* point out what I'm
    missing.

    Hi,
    you have described your problem, but I guess that most people
    here can`t help you until you post some code of your app.
    How did you assemble the document from pieces ?
    Maybe you can make a small example (maybe with other a
    smaller xml) which shows you problem?
    best regards,
    kcell

    I found something interesting on the error page, it seems I'm missing SapDictionaryGenerationCore.

  • Unmarshal Exception on big XML files

    First, sorry for my english.
    I have a problem using a unmarshal method. Im trying to unmarshal a XML file which size is almost 4.1Mb. When I do that an Unmarshal Exception is thrown. But if I broke the file in little parts (0.5Mb each) the unmarshal method works perfectly for all those little XML files. Is there any body that knows what is happening?
    Tanks.

    I don't have any solution. But I can remenber having already seen someone speaking about this problem on this forum. Try to find his thread which a search with keywords as XML, Exception, big file ... You'll perhaps find it. This subject was discussed a few weeks ago.

  • I need to remove "air." from package name. I'm get a Layout xml error when repackaging android app..

    So, i'm doing this on my own app. I made an update for an older app that was build using Native Android. But this time, i used Adobe AIR... The catch is Adobe likes to append a "air." to the front of your package name without asking you. So basically I can't upload my update because it has a new package name is now "air.com.mycompany.myapp" rather than the original "com.mycompany.myapp"
    Basically I'm going through this guide..
    http://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/opt-out-air-application-analytics.html
    I followed all the steps, made all the adjustments to the androidmanifest.xml like it asks.
    But after going along with the above guide, with no issues when i get to the step that says
    "Run the following command to create the resource file for the updated AndroidManifest.xml:"
    I run this..
        "/Users/brybam/Documents/eclipse/android-sdk-mac_x86/platform-tools/aapt" package -f -M AndroidManifest.xml -F resources.arsc -I "/Users/brybam/Documents/eclipse/android-sdk-mac_x86/platforms/android-8/android.jar" -S ./res
    But I keep getting the same error regarding the xml files in res/layout
        ./res/layout/expandable_chooser_row.xml:1: error: Error parsing XML: not well-formed (invalid token)
        ./res/layout/expandable_multiple_chooser_row.xml:1: error: Error parsing XML: not well-formed (invalid token)
        ./res/layout/main.xml:1: error: Error parsing XML: not well-formed (invalid token)
        ./res/layout/multiple_file_selection_panel.xml:1: error: Error parsing XML: not well-formed (invalid token)
        ./res/layout/ssl_certificate_warning.xml:1: error: Error parsing XML: not well-formed (invalid token)
    The guide doesn't say anything about these xml files, and im not sure what to do with these or how to handle them.
    If i go into the res/layout folder, and just delete these (i know they're necessary. But i just deleted them as a test, to get through the rest of the guide...)
    I was able to get through the rest of the steps in the guide fine, make an apk, and put it on my phone...only to find out the app will crash the moment you try to run it. Probably because i deleted the layout xml files...But i cant get the command i need to run above to accept them!
    So, earlier in the guide they have me use thing thing called the "AXMLPrinter2.jar" to make the AndroidManifest.xml readable so i can edit it.
    I run something like this:
        java -jar "/Users/brybam/Desktop/repackage/AXMLPrinter2.jar" AndroidManifest.xml > AndroidManifest.xml.bk
    This makes a new file "AndroidManifest.xml.bk" and i can edit that.
    So, I was thinking with all of these layout xml files, maybe I could run this "AXMLPrinter2.jar" on them and then edit them. Because right now if you open them they're not human readable, and its hard for me to work on them if they're not...
    I tried this thinking i could do the same thing...
        java -jar "/Users/brybam/Desktop/repackage/AXMLPrinter2.jar" main.xml > main.xml.bk
    Just get a blank file and a console erorr when trying to use the AXMLPrinter2.jar on the layout xml files...
        java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 67
                  at android.content.res.StringBlock.getShort(StringBlock.java:231)
                  at android.content.res.StringBlock.getString(StringBlock.java:91)
                  at android.content.res.AXmlResourceParser.getName(AXmlResourceParser.java:140)
                  at test.AXMLPrinter.main(AXMLPrinter.java:56)
    So, I think my whole issue is based around these XML files not being converted to human readable before i try and re-package....
    EDIT:::
    Ok, so I found a site that talks about the error I'm getting but it's in chinese, and even after translating the page...I'm still not well versed with terminal and this stuff to get it.
    It reads:
    "Error.
    Final conclusion:
    In minSdkVersion <= 7, AXMLPrinter2.jar can normally decompile xml file
    Greater than 7 can not be normal decompile xml file (AndroidManifest.xml except)
    Give way to share a batch decompile xml file:
    First, create a *. Txt file
    Stresses inside the content authoring
    for / r layout%% a in (*. xml) do @ java-jar AXMLPrinter2.jar "%% a" >> "%% a". txt
    Then this txt file extension into bat form, and this BAT the file and AXMLPrinter2.jar on the same directory will be decompiled xml into the layout directory
    Decompilation results can be generated by executing the bat file multiple xml files."
    - http://hi.baidu.com/ghcghc/item/ecbaa1ce997cb225a0b50ac2
    Maybe someone with more know-how could explain what they're explaining? I get that he's saying the issue im seeing appears when you're using minSdK <=7 but I need to use minSdk 8. Does anyone understand this work around? And how I might go about it on a Mac with terminal?
    I wish adobe would make it easy to remove the "air." from the package name. If they want to convert old Native devs to AIR devs...the transition needs to be seamless. But now I'm about to have to go back to Native because I can't update an app I already have out on the market with an air app.

    Hello~
         I also tried to remove "air." package name in air application. And i encounter the same problem.
         I do not find any solution to decode the xml inside res folder by AXMLPrinter2.jar. And those xml inside is compressed which is unreadable.
         However, what you can do is copying the structure of res folder. And go to your air sdk file path -  adobeair-sdk-folder/lib/android/lib/resources/
         Replace those file exists in your res folder. And copy "values" folder to your res folder.
         Hope this solve your problem~

  • Creating XML File Using xmldom Package

    How can I create an XML file from scratch using the PL/SQL xmldom package?
    I want to create an XML file using the xmldom package instead of building the individual tags as strings of VARCHAR2 character data. There is quite a bit of documentation regarding manipulating input XML files using DOM -- but not for creating XML files from scratch given known "tagnames" (<lastName>) and retrieved database "values" ("Smith").
    <person>
    <lastName>Smith</lastName>
    </person>
    Is there any documentation that you can recommend?
    Thank you.

    Here is an example.
    The create_file procedure creates the file.
    The other procedures are generic procs that can be used with any XML.

  • XML Parsing in a Schedule Job (OIM 11g R1)

    Hi,
    I am writing a lookup recon - schedule task in OIM 11g R1 to connect to a webservice and get the lookup attribute values. Now, I am able to fetch the values in a xml format. I am facing an issue while trying to parse the xml values (tried both as a string and from a file).
    I have tried using both the SAX and the DOM parser. PFA the snippet for the DOM Parser:
                        DocumentBuilderFactory builderFactory =
                            DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
                        DocumentBuilder builder = null;
                        try {
                            builder = builderFactory.newDocumentBuilder();
                        } catch (ParserConfigurationException e) {
                            e.printStackTrace();
                        org.w3c.dom.Document doc =
                            (org.w3c.dom.Document)builder.parse(file);
                        System.out.println("Parsed the xml");
                        org.w3c.dom.NodeList nodes =
                            doc.getElementsByTagName("entry");
                        System.out.println("Total Profiles fetched:: " +
                                           nodes.getLength());
    This is giving the nodes.getLength() as 0. Though the code runs fine in the Java Client (directly from eclipse)
    The snippet for the SAX method is :
                SAXParserFactory factory = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
                SAXParser saxParser = factory.newSAXParser();
                DefaultHandler handler = new DefaultHandler() {
                    boolean bfname = false;
                    boolean blname = false;
                    boolean bnname = false;
                    boolean bsalary = false;
                    public void startElement(String uri, String localName,
                                             String qName,
                                             Attributes attributes) throws SAXException {
                        //   System.out.println("Start Element :" + qName);
                        if (qName.equalsIgnoreCase("d:Name")) {
                            blname = true;
                    public void endElement(String uri, String localName,
                                           String qName) throws SAXException {
                        //     System.out.println("End Element :" + qName);
                    public void characters(char[] ch, int start,
                                           int length) throws SAXException {
                        if (blname) {
                            System.out.println("d:Name : " +
                                               new String(ch, start, length));
                            blname = false;
                           saxParser.parse("home/oracle/UserProfiles.xml", handler);
    This is throwing a java.net.malformedurlexception: no protocol: /home/oracle/userprofiles.xml exception. I tried to pass it as "file://home/oracle/UserProfiles.xml" but then is gives a
    java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused Even this code is running fine in the Java Client when ran directly. It seems there is some weblogic configurations I am missing for the XML parsing?
    Please do help, if anyone has faced any issues parsing an xml in a Schedule job. Will highly appreciate your inputs.
    Thanks,
    Anuj.

    Thanks, but how can I "fetch" the url from the image element?You've got to first get to the image element. But based on what you've posted though, with a little more coding, you should be able to succeed. Just give it a try! :)
