Xmp profile on 990FXA-GD80 not working

hi guys
i bought a upgrading ram kit http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104370 and when i set xmp profil in bios it refuses to boot but when i manually set frequency (2133 mhz) and timings it works fine so is it the ram or the mobo ??

Sorry if this seem irrelevant but I'll post my experience here with the 990FXA-GD80. I'm on the 11.5 BIOS which I believe is the latest on the MSI page for the 990FXA board. I've tried a Logitech G110 keyboard, it simply does not work at BIOS level, I've tried almost everything. Clear CMOS, USB2.0/3.0 ports, USB legacy option, Load Optimized defaults, & what not!
Now I'm using a Thermaltake Meka G1, a mechanical keyboard but with no extra buttons or feature like a LCD, it's plugged through the PS/2 port to use the Anti-Ghosting feature of mechanical boards, namely (NKRO).
I've only found this problem only the 990FXA-GD80 board as I've no other boards to test with. My friend has a 2500K setup with a MSI Z68 GD65 which is also an UEFI board & this problem is not eminent there. Though he has problems with his SteelSeries XAi recognizing at BIOS level & when the mouse is plugged into the board, the PC will not boot/ or it will boot but it'll take a very long time!
To me this seems a problem with both MSI & the respective companies Logitech/Razer/SteelSeries & I've seen this occurring on UEFI boards only. I previously had a MSI 890GXM G65 & the Logitech G110 functioned flawlessly with it!

Since I have upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1, it has been constantly freezing up. Now it does not work at all and I am unable to remove my profile. How can I remove my profile if Firefox does not work?

I finally got so tired of Firefox freezing my computer that I tried to uninstall and reinstall. Upon reinstall, it will not work at all and I am unable to delete my old user profile. Is there any way to get rid of this profile so I can give one last attempt to get Firefox to work before switching permanently to Google Chrome? I really liked Firefox for years until they screwed it up with the recent changes.

Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Talent profile in the MSS not working

Hello,
I have problems with the long talent profile in the Mangers Self Service. When i press the "talent profile" link in the portal nothing happens. The talentprofil does not open. I have created a talentprofile for an employee in the ESS. The profile is filled. All the customizing activieties have been completed. Also business partners are created.
Does anyone have an idea why the talentprofile in the MSS does not work. Maybe I have forgotten something!

In .profile, why is alias not working?

Recently (since upgrading to Mavericks??), several alias commands in ~/.profile are not working after I start Terminal (although numerous path settings set up there are working as expected). For example, ~/.profile includes:
alias mysqlctl='sudo /usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server'
alias mysqlstart='mysqlctl start'
But after I start Terminal and execute
mysqlstart
I get error:
bash: mysqlstart: command not found
I know that something peculiar is going on because when I attempt to exit the (one and only) running Terminal session with command exit I just see an echoed response
exit
but can quit Terminal by executing the same exit command again.
Moreover, if in Terminal I execute
source ~/.profile
then the aliases work as expected.
I did try the ruse I found somwhere of including before any of the other alias lines in .profile the command alias sudo='sudo ' but that doesn't fix the problem.
I thought perhaps some other startup file is being read and hence commands in ~/.profile are therefore not being executed, but I find no such: I have no
~/.bashrc or ~/.bash_profile or ~/.login file. (And Terminal is set to use the default login shell, which is bash.
What could be wrong and how can it be fixed?

I tried the method recommended at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18773051/how-to-make-os-x-to-read-bash-profil e-not-profile-file, namely, to move all the commands formerly in ~/.profile into ~/.bashrc and then to create ~/.bash_profile consisting of lines:

That does now allow my alias commands (formerly in ~/.profile and now in ~/.bashrc) to work in Terminal.

User status profile settings on WBS not working

Hello,
We have a User status profile on WBS element which has various statuses in it allowing different business transactions when that particular user status is set.
There is one user status NPC in that status profile which should disallow assignment or confirmation on maintenance work order. Now the status previous to NPC status allows assignment or confirmation of orders. So after a order is assigned to the WBS and the WBS user status is changed to NPC when we try to confirm order on this WBS in NPC status sytem allows order confirmation.
Why is system allowing this inspite of the status profile config says confirmation is disallowed in NPC status. I have checked the object types in the status profile config and maintenance order is also included in that but still its not working. Please help in solving this issue, its critical.

The business transactions disallowed under NPC status are as below,
Acct. Assignment order/Project
Actual activity Allocation
Assignment Order/WBS
Confirm Order
Goods Movement
Material Purchase Order
Material Purchase Requisition
Post Goods Issue
But orders can be assigned in the status before NPC, but once NPC is set system does not allow assignment of new orders which is correct. But system allows confirmation of already assigned orders. Please help we do not want any order confimation after NPC is set.

Custom Auth. Object with Profile and role assignment not working

Hi,
I have created custom Authorization Object with field ACTVT with allowed values - 01,02, 03. Now test it with custom program using AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Z_AUTHORIZ' it is working fine and returning sy-subrc 12. At this point i have not created any role using this Auth Object.
Now I have created custom role ZPM_**** and assigned above Auth object to it with value ACTVT 03. Assigned this role to user.
When I try to test the above custom program with any ACTVT value it is giving sy-subrc as 0. Used below custom code in program.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Z_AUTHORIZ'
ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '01'.
Am I missing anything? The profiles are generated correctly.

Photoshop custom profile / max ink density not working ..

I'm trying to get a photo's ink density down below 225 with the cheap and easy trick of converting to a custom cmyk profile and setting the max density at 225%. It's always worked for me before but since my office upgraded to CS6 i've been having some issues ...
I'll check the image out in Photoshop using the info palette, hover my cursor all over the place and it will tell me everything is below 225. BUT when I save the image and place in say ... illustrator or indesign ... the ink density is definitely NOT below 225.
I assume this is because I'm doing something wrong ... that's usually the case.
If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or could help me with a workaround I would greatly appreciate it.

Profile customized attribute is not working?

I downloaded ‘WCSpacesExtensions’ project from Oracle because I want to add some customize attributes to Profile. I added ‘project’ to ExtendedProfileAttributes.java, and created getter and setter methods. In a jsff, this is my EL #{wcProfileCustomAttribute['securityContext.userName'].project}. The setProject() sets up the attribute, but when getProject() is invoked, ‘project’ is returned as NULL.
Every time the jsff page references the attributes via EL, it creates a new instance ExtendedProfileAttributes obj. because you can see it calls the constructor over and over. It saves value of ‘sip’ (=> setSip():12345), but when trying to read its value, it's NULL (=> getSip():null). So, I can't read and save the attribute per user.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Profiler in SQL Developer not working

When I run the profiler in SQL developer , I get the following error.
"Directory exists; check if /tmp exists on file system, and oracle has permission to write there. "
This error sounds like an UNIX error but I am running SQL developer on Windows 7 (64) OS. Has anyone seen this or knows how to get around it.

According to the SQL Developer 3.1.04.72 documentation, the "get" command (among others) is not supported:

so options are limited. If sqlplus is accessible and using it as an "external tool" won't conflict entirely with local policy, these links might interest you:

Action Profile Determination Procedure does not work properly -.

Dear Experts,
I have defined the transaction type ZANF (Object Type: BUS2000240 = Billing Request). The problem is, in the customizing I can not assign the action profile directly. I have to assign a Action Profile Determination Procedure (it is called there AP Procedure).
I already have defined an Determination Procedure with the name ZCRM01 in Customizing:
Customer Relationship Management->Basic Functions->Actions->Actions in Transaction->Set Up Action Profile Determination
This determination Procedure ZCRM01 has assigned the condition type: ZACK and no Requirement? Actually what is the Requirement?
The condition type ZACK has assigned the Access Sequence Z001. The access sequence Z001 has assigned the table SAP00004 which contains only the attribute: PROCESS_TYPE (Transaction Type).
Now the problem is that action profile Z_SERVICE_CONFIRM is not called.
Now my question is: How can I link together the action profile determination procedure ZCRM01 with the action profile Z_SERVICE_CONFIRM? I can not find the place where in customizing I can link both concepts together.

Hi Robert and zhenglin gu,
the solution for the problem is that in the table CRMV_PROC_TYPE (Table for customizing of transaction types) it is possible to assign the action profile directly with the field ACTIONPROFILE. But If you click on a transaction type details this field is not visible in the dynpro.
So I think SAP made an error in the programming of this dynpro. That was all to solve the error.

User Profile Parameter ID KVS not work

Hi,
I've got some troubles with parameter id KVS. I set it in my user profile,
parameter = KVS
value = B2
description = Version (CO)
when I call report GPCQE53LSADXCC16KZ1R96N5156001, there are two fields with this parameter,
and their value remain "0" instead of "B2".
I need to put the parameter value on one of this two fields, how can I do?

You can run Incremental Sync from user profile 3-4 times. This will delete the user profile from SharePoint UPA.
Now, we need to run UPA clean job timer job available in Job Definition inside central administration.
This is a by design issue which you have raised. But, to get it done on the same day you need to follow above mentioned steps. This would be done in some hour and cannot be achieved in 4-5 minutes. So, your original request is a by design issue and can be

Profiles not working as expected

I have created a simple publication for a webi report using efashion uiniverse. It's in BO 4.0. I have created 2 profiles. One is State=California and another is Month= 2. If I add any one of the profile to the publication, it works fine.
Example:
Case 1: when I add the profile state=california to the publication, i get data for only state=California.
Case 2: If i remove the profile state=california and add profile month= 2 to the publication , then i get data only for month=2.
Case 3: Now if I add both the profiles state=california and month=2, i get data for sate=california and for all the months. The profile month=2 doesn't get applied.
what's happening is that the profile which is added first is getting processed while the profile added second is not working. If I add the profile month=2 first and then profile state=california, then only month =2 gets applied and not state=california.
Is there any settings that may be causing this behaviour?
