    If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPhone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPhone. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

    I am having trouble with my Apple ID and AppStore
    Here are the steps I have taken and the results:
    Changed my Apple ID with new email address.
    Changed my iCloud with above new email address.
    NOW - Apple ID appears correct in AppStore Settings, iCloud and AppStore*
    If I scroll to bottom of screen in *App Store/Featured, I can see that the Apple ID is my new email.
    Upon “updating” Apple ID reflects OLD email.
    Deleted accounts, re-added accounts.
    Signed out and signed in with new UN/Email
    Issue remains the same.

    To migrate your data to a new iCloud account go to Settings>iCloud and turn off all synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.), when prompted choose to keep the data on your phone.  After everything is set to off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  Next, create the new iCloud account on your phone and turn on syncing for contacts, calendars, etc again.  If prompted, choose Merge.  This will upload your data to the new iCloud account.

    This is expected behavior. Upon initial sign in to the iTunes Store (or a new iTunes Store region), you will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions, as well as enter account information/billing information.

    If your account information doesn't match your credit card, you may get a message stating "The credit card was declined."

    You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    I've been trying to download apps to my iPod Touch, but it gives me a message thats says "Verification Required".
    On Christmas I got a $30 Visa Gift card, so I put it on my Apple account. Now that it's out of money, the card is deactivated (I'm pretty sure) and it says I need to put in my PIN# and the Security Key. When I put it in, it says the security key is invalid. I've been trying since January 19th, but nothing has worked.
    I tried going to Apple.ca and changing my information, and I did, but on my iPod it still says I need to verify my account by putting in the PIN#. On Apple.ca I took all the credit card information off, saved it, and it's fine there.
    I am really getting annoyed with this, and I want to fix it.
    Things I've tried:
    1. Signing out and back in
    2. Restarting my iPod Touch
    3. Signing out and restarting my iPod Touch, then signing back in
    4. Changing my information on Apple.ca
    5. Changing my information on my iPod, which says it's invalid when I delete all credit card information
    So I guess all I can ask is for you to delete the Credit card information off my account, because I only get the free apps. The only thing I used the gift card was to buy 3 apps, which were Modern Combat: Black Pegasus, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Alpine Crawler.
    If you can delete the information, please do it because right now I cannot make any purchases on ANY kind of apps (paid or free).

    Need help sorting out apple ID.  Icloud and Dropbox asked for a new ID which worked fine. Why does it not work on my new iphone to get the dropbox app?

    I had a similar issue with my iPad, it was asking for what essentially was a username - back before you needed an actual email address, god knows why, so I ignored it during the setup process and once the home screen loaded up it asked my for my details and hey presto it was fine.
    If you don't get asked for your details right away you can add them by going to Settings>iTunes & App Store

    I did the security update and now all I get on my ipad is the words "itunes" with a pic of a cord attachment. 

    What did not help ? Not sure what you mean by 'look at this for me', but these are user-to-user forums.
    You've connected the iPad to your computer's iTunes via the cable ? Did your computer's iTunes recognise the iPad ? If if did then did it not prompt you to reset/restore it ? If not then have you got the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer ?

  • I am having trouble with my apple t.v. remote.

    The remote was only working to click up and down to scroll through selections. Then I read through discussions and found a thread where it said to hold the menu and rewind button down. I did that and now can hear the click, and see the light come on the apple t.v., for the left, but I'm in the far left column so there's still no where to go but up and down. How do I get restore it so that I can scroll to the right? I tried holding the menu button and the fastforward button, but that hasn't done anything. I've also tried to reset - both by unplugging and by holding the menu and play button at the same time. Please advise. This is the black Apple TV, which I'm guessing is Apple TV 2.

    My apologies. I just figured out it's an Apple TV 3. The button to go right started working, but it intermittently stops. While it was working, I downloaded the remote app for my iPhone and iPad as a backup. This still doesn't solve the issue with the remote. Please advise. How do I get it repaired, replaced, fixed or whatever you suggest. We bought the Apple TV in January of this year and it is still under warranty.

    I have recently bought an IPAD 2 for my girlfriend and have encountered a problem with purchasing apps through my itunes account. It is requesting that I not only enter my pasword (which I know) but answer my old account questions, which I have forgotten the answers to. It had since locked me out of changing my questions for eight hours. Is there any number I can call to prove that I am the real owner of my itunes account so my girlfriend will be able to use her ipad to purchase new apps without having to go through the trouble of using one of my other apple devices? Random information: I believe my questions were set back in 2007 when I purchased my first ipod nano, since then I have used this same itunes account for my own ipod touch and ipad 2 and my girlfriends iphone 1st generation. I have never run into a problem regarding my questions before on any of these devices

  • Having trouble with apple tv device!!

    Having trouble with my apple tv device. Bought just before Christmas so practically brand new. Only used about 6 times. When I went to turn on today the light on the box is flashing and its asking to connect my hdmi cable to what looks like an itunes icon. Ive checked the hdmi cable in the skybox and its working perfectly. any thoughts????

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
        1.    Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
        2.    Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
        3.    Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
        4.    Open iTunes.
        5.    Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
    (You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)
