Yosemite 10.10.1 - Latest document or folder created in finder slides up behind top bar - can't get it

Hi,
Since the last Yosemite update, every time I create a new file, it appears at the very top of the column, then slides up behind the bar at the top of the page so I can't get it to open it or move it. How do I fix this? It's driving me nuts.

One suggestion: try
tell application "Finder" to open item 1 of docs
(without 'using "Corel Painter 8"')
As far as the Finder is concerned, "Corel Painter 8" is just a string of characters. And telling the Finder to open a file is just the same as double-clicking it: the Finder knows which app to use - as long as these are native Corel Painter 8 docs.

Firefox can't handle MS Office documents and you will have to open such a file in an external Office program of viewer.

First if you haven't done so already click on the Apple Logout > and make sure you don't have more than one user account... If you don't log back in and see if your files came back. Try this:
press command + space keys > Search for terminal then hit enter.
from command line > type: cd ~/Documents (or Desktop or Pictures just depends where you had your files)
then type: ls -a (this will list all files even hidden ones let me know if you see your files or not)
*Note: Be sure to read the instructions carefuly and ask questions if you don't understand something.

I cloud worked fine for a while on the latest version of windows then threw up an error since then I can longer get the programme to run . I've reinstalled itunes but this doesnt help any ideas

It maybe worthwhile trying to uninstall and then reinstall the icloud control panel, if the issue is with your outlook.

I go to Greenville Technical College in Greenville SC where I take online courses. The school utilizes a program called Blackboard which runs something called Campus Edition 8 service pack 3 (CE8.3). This fall I logged in after taking the summer off to discover that my Mozilla 5 is not compatible with their system. The Blackboard support pages indicate that the CE8.3 is compatible with Mozilla 3.o. My problem is that I cannot find that version to download for a reinstall of the browser. Can you help me? School starts Monday!

Show latest Documents in NewsIview with Repository Service

Hello together,
I have created a NewsIView and always if a document is uploading a repository service should copie the document in the folder the NewsIview listen to.
How I can create a Link or Content that could be shown in the News Iview in the following way:
New Documents are available: Link to the Document.
In the NewsIview are manually News shown, that are created with the XMLFormsBuilder and in the Form Based Publish -Format.
How I can create this format to show a Link to the uploaded Document in the NewsIview?Have I create such a format to display the documents in the News??
The Repository Service is already running and copies the documents....

In our KM many documents were uploaded via WebService in different folders.
Now the Repository Service should copy the latest documents in the folder the NewsIview listen to.
That documents should shown to the End User the way...New documents: Link to the documents (Link points to the KM folder the NewsIview listen to...)
But for displaying the documents, that were uploaded with the WebService i need to convert the documents to the form based publishing format.
The enduser should see the manually news, created by the administrator and the latest documents, uploaded by the webservice. Can you follow me??
We have no trex this is why we tried to implement a repository service.

I have added the Documents folder to the Dock, however when I save a document it doesn't appear in the Documents folder on the Dock, only the Documents folder in the Finder. Is this a quirk, so am I doing something wrong?

I like having my Documents folder on the Dock so I added the Documents folder from the Finder to the Dock. When I save a document to the Documents folder, the saved document appears in the Documents folder from the Finder and not in the Documents folder on the Dock. Why is this happening? And how can I change this?

If you want just the originals, then you can go into the Aperture library (right click on it and do "show package contents"). Inside is a directory called "Masters" and you can find the original files in a bunch of subfolders.
But... you'll lose all adjustments, keywords, and other information, and just have the files as they were imported originally from the cameras.
Easiest is probably to buy Aperture and update everything, and then migrate to the Photos application down the road if that's what you want. Aperture 3.0 came out in 2010 (five years ago!) so it's not like you've upgraded in a while

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in 10.8 there is only one. If you're running a version older than 10.8, this comment isn't applicable.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder—not just its contents—to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window.
This action will delete any custom Mail stationery that you have created. If you want to preserve it, ask for instructions.

How to get Custom-Content-type Column Value of a Document Library-Folder

I have to add a custom-column(folder-imageURL) for Folders in a Document Library.
So I have created a Custom-CotentType "FolderCtype" with new column "folder-imageURL" and attached in the Document Library.
Whenever I create a new folder in that document library I will select my "FolderCtype" & and then add an image url in "folder-imageURL" column.
How do I access this image url in Code?
part of my code is as follows.

Latest documents are not displayed while searching the Leads in WebUI

HI,
I am trying to search the leads in WebUi Search screen.
However, always it is displaying the old Leads rather than newly created ones.
For my case:
I should always display the latest leads by sorting them with "Start date - Descending".
Could you please help me out with some inputs?

The behavior is a system design to improve system performance.
This happens because the Reporting Framework always displays the Initial
documents only, It does not SORT the document so that the recent
documents can be displayed.During the development of Reporting
Framework, it was decided not to use any sorting as it leads to
performance issues.
In standard system, we have the following suggestions:
1.Adjust'Time Frame ' according to your needs (you can use 'time
frame' to narrow the time range as a workround, but still can not list
the latest one):
2.If it is very important always to select the latest documents,
you can implement the suggested coding described in the consulting note
1226594, which has the effects on oneorder search based report framework
actually , i.e. it is not a IC specific implementation, and can be adapted for leads.
The note 1226594 cannot be implemented by SNOTE. The note includes an zi
file - where you can find the neccessary coding correction. Please
implement the correction manually as stated in the note.
And please pay attention to implement first the note 1232008, with this
the declaration will be implemented for iv_item and Afterwards please
try to implement the note 1226594.
Additionally, I would like to remind you about note 1226594
- this note is a consulting note and it will not be in SAP Standard!
- the change will effects on all one order search as mentioned above;
- it will slow down the search.
You can also apply the attached note 1573171.
Also, maintain the below entry in SMOFPARSFA table and
check the system behavior.
For last interaction in IC web client you can add the following.

I know that this category have been assigned in DC20 in u2018Define archivesu2019 as Name of Data Carrier. I select with F4 values that have name u2018Archive IDu2019, but I donu2019t know - where I can setup this Archive ID (change or create new)? Could you help me with it?
