YouTube and Newsstand keep stopping

Just bought a Lenovo Yoga 2 10". When setting up the tablet I keep getting messages from the likes of YouTube and Newsstand saying the apps have stopped. Have tried resetting apps and reinstalling with same result.
I have updated the opsys and am using GoLauncher as the Lenovo launcher is God aweful
Anyone come across this before and found a resolve? Am pondering on returning the tablet as I have not had one this query or troublesome which would be a shame as it shows real potential if it was stable.

"touch wood" I think I have found the problem. I uninstalled all YouTube updates and have not had an app stop since.

Did you rent it directly from iTunes on your computer? Is it fully downloaded? Movies are big (>1GB, typically), so let it finish downloading, then watch it.

Most YouTube content requires the Flash plugin. Sometimes it's necessary to uninstall then reinstall that plugin.
Uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Very important to uninstall the currently installed plugin first.
Now launch Safari and try a video.
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
You may also need to delete the cache associated with Safari .
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go the move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a video.

Youtube and others keep telling me i shoud ugrade FP, I did, why cant i see it then?

when im on my computer i always have
music from youtube, never had problems with that, but when my laptop recently kinda crashed and i installed vista again on my computer, FP doesnt work anywhere and when i try to install it it sais the installation was succesfull, but it still doesnt work.
i have avg and IE but i dont understand why i have these problems since i didnt have any problems before.

Hi, well things happen sometimes with a major Install. First go to Tools, manage add ons and look for Shockwave Flash Object...ActiveX Control...Flash10e.ocx (10.0.45.2) and make sure it is listed and Enabled.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Right click on the Flash folder and post back all files listed there.
Since you use AVG, do you have the Link Scanner, etc?
When you post back, mention your version of IE and is this a 64bit Operating System? If it is your Flash Player files won't be where I told you.

Even though I updated to Firefox 3.6 it seems I`m still using a previous version as youtube and hotmail keep on telling me that my browser is outdated and features like Zotero don`t work,what should I do?

Apparently other users on my laptop don `t have this problem. The system recognizes that I have the latest version of firefox.

Check the general.useragent prefs on the about:config page. 
You can open the about:config page via the location bar, just like you open a website. 
Filter: general.useragent 
If any general.useragent prefs are bold (user set) then right-click that pref and choose Reset.

Tryin to install itunes for the first time on my laptop and it keeps stopping at producing product information.

As it says. Tried 10-12 times and it's the same every time.

Check your Windows update history and make sure you have installed all the updates.
Also to SCAN and repair possible Windows system file corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
Try your installation again.

YouTube and Netflix not working on iPad4

In the past couple of days, both YouTube and Netflix have stopped working on my iPad4. The iPad can still access the Internet, but YouTube keeps returning an "Error loading. Tap to retry" message. Netflix just comes back with "Connection error." Here are some of the things I've already tried...
1. Rebooted
2. Deleted and then reinstalled both apps
3. Updated iPad software
4. Reconnected to my router
Any help out there?

I also keep getting the same "Cannot connect to YouTube" message after upgrading to version 3.0, when iPhone could connect to youtube before the 'upgrade'....
Anyone else, and any idea if it can be fixed?

Message keeps stopping

I am trying to delete a thread on Messenger+ (it is a long one) and Messenger+ keeps stopping. Also in that same thread, I can send a text and it looks like it resends (on my end - sometimes the recipient gets it and sometimes not) but it combines the text I just send with one from a while back. I can delete a few messages at a time on that thread but it will take forever if I have to do it that way!

I'm in the same boat. Safari 6.0.5, stalls, and stops playing video (youtube, vimeo, etc). I tried the same videos with Firefox and they play fine!
Running 10.8.4 on Mac tower.
I just switched from an older Macbook Pro 15" with the same OS version and browsers , and never had that issue. What gives?

Assuming your internet connection is not the problem, go to Youtube and start to view a video. Pause the video, and then right-click on the video. Flash will then pop up a context menu, click Settings. On the first tab of the settings menu there is an option to de-select "Use hardware acceleration." If the box is not checked, check it, and if it is already checked, un-check it. Then try to play the video again. You may need to re-load the page afterward.
You'll want to update your outdated plug-ins, like Java. See:

...and also the worst cases:
closing all apps (for rare cases when a single app might render the sound system instable)
rebooting the iPad
So, don't get desparete: try the things in the video.
There are people who reported having forgotten an audio-bluetooth connection activated with a turned-off sound-system or speakers... or forgot Air-Play turned on... so be sure you disengage bluetooth and/or airplay.
On the 'hardware side', dirty dock connector (30 pin) can make the iPad 'think' it is connected to external audio - if so, cleaning it with a dry toothbrush can fix. Also, moisture in the headphones connector can make the iPad switch to 'headphones' even without headphones connected, making it silent: check if you can hear things with headphones plugged in - if so, try gently inserting and removing headphones a few times and check if you get sound back to iPad's speakers alone.
