is there a chance to find out when a certain report (in my case some Z-reports) has been executed last time?

I am looking for an easy way to report on the last time an application was used on a device...
Zenworks stores usage information on each application and somehow reports on the amount of time an application used over various periods of time (month/3month/6month etc).... but a direct value for when a specific device has last used application "x" is not available either in the basic reporting or through the reporting server... or at least I have not found it yet. Has anyone solved the issue?

Couldn't you create a Software Usage Custom Report for application "x" and use the "Last Used (local)" along with any other columns you want to show?

Here the issue is same.
STAT transaction is asking for the time which is the main hurdle.
I am hanging around with STAT transaction but not finding
how to getover the time specification.
if i dont specify the time i takes by default the 2 or minutes back from the current time.
which is not useful for me at all.
My main requirement is that my seniors want to know what are all reports or transaction or tables which are not used at what last time ?
so if i have to specify the time wont be so useful for me.
And writing a report 'll not gain anything coz internal SAP report is take time as main parameter.

RME 3.1 Custom Reports - Interface Last Used

Is there a way of creating this report to find out when a port was last used.
The template specifies yy:mm:dd:hh but the detailed report displays days hh:mm:ss
e.g. would like to create a report for interfaces not used for more than 90 days.
tried exporting to csv and sorting but the format doesn't sort in order correctly unless
anyone can tell me how to format the cells to sort properly.

For the user tracking information, you can generate such kind of reports from Campus Manager instead of RME.
Kindly have a look at this doc link and try to generate the report from Campus Manager > User Tracking > Reports > Report Generator > Select "Switch port report " and various option available like :- Recently Down, Reclain Unused Down ....and you can specify the number of days manually "90" too.

How to find out Query last used by whom

Can any one tell me that "How to find out the Query last used by whom. I have already searched in SDN but no luck. In my system BW Stats are not installed and I have already checked the below tables.

i think u have missed it.
RSZCOMPDIR IS THE ONLY TABLE WHICH PROVIDES THE DATA.
ENTER TECHNICAL QUERY Name in RSZCOMPDIR-COMPID.
RSZCOMPDIR-TSTNAM gives you the user id of sap bw user who made the change.
RSZCOMPDIR-TSTPDAT gives you date on which change was made .
RSZCOMPDIR-TSTPTIM gives you timestamp on which change was made .
all users details can be obtained from TCODE SU01 where you need to enter sap user id.
You can also get user name( description) by using tcode SE09 and entering above sap user id.

Missing functionality Request: report "last prices" with BP name

In the report "last prices" (if Checkbox "BP code" is not checked) one sees only the GP code and not the BP name. This is very unfavorable if an item was very often sold in several customers.

I am not using form , it's just done in report, that is i am not calling the report from a form , just from a menu.
:last_name is a report_paramter that i created on the report.
you're right the first assignmnt is
AND UPPER( db column) LIKE
I have a paramter form on the report with a field last name and I am letting the user enter last name there which gets stored in the :last_name

MDM report on use of GL accounts in SAP ECC

Hello,
My customer has a business requirement (as result of an audit), to have a customised report with information on the use of GL accounts
(MDM report)
(e.g.: GL account when created in CC, when last used in CC, nr. of postings in year-2, nr. of positngs in year-1, if the GL account contains balance)
Please see listed below a part of the Functional Specification and Technical Specification, i have drafted so far.

Thanks for the reply. I have loaded the data into the cube 0figl_c10. Installed the virtual cube 0figl_v10 and also the query
0FIGL_V10_Q0001( Bal.Sheet and Profit and Loss (New):Actual/Actual Comparison ) from BI content. Extracted the hierarchies
for the infoobject 0GLACCEXT.In this hierarchy for some gl account in the field BAL_DEPEND ( Balance Dependency of a
Hierarchy Node ) the value is maintained as "1" "Suppress Balance if Positive" for some gl accounts and "2" "Suppress Balance
if Negative" and blank "No Balance Dependency" for some gl accounts.
We have a gl account 60380 for this gl, in the bal dependency field the value is maintained as 1 in Assets and 2 in Liabilities(
coming from R/3).
This gl is maintained both in assets and liabilities. I executed the report.
In a business area in a period the value for this gl is both +ve and -ve. But actually assets should show only +ve values and
liabilities should show only negative values.But this gl account is appearing in the node "Assets" only and the balances have
both the values i.e +ve and -ve.
As per the setting in the field BAL_DEPEND i.e 1 in Assets, the postive values should be suppressed.
But it is not suppressing the postive values. It is showing both the values under only assets node.
I changed the bal depedencey value to 2 in the assets to see whether it suppresses -ve values but also it is not suppressing.
Any solution or explanation ?

right now there really is no way to solve what you are looking for. There partial solutions, but you will not be able to force a page break in a dynamic report.
Here is what I have faced, and what I have come up with so far:
I have a series of reports that have the same column heading, but spread over 5 pages in a fixed structure. I need to be able to re-use the header and the general report design with 6 reports. Here is my solution:
1. Create an outline of the report. I did all the formatting by creating a report section for each page. You can force page breaks between the pages. Upgrade to patch 1502 (came out last week) and you will see some new functionality (such as fit to page, page numbers, etc).
2. Insert all you page breaks and do all the formatting.
3. Insert an infoprovider. Once in, you can just drag and drop the key figure cells into your formatted report.
4. Create additional modification for formatting as needed.
This fixes my problem (for now), but I had to do a lot of work to come up with this. Also, the latest patch (1501 and 1502) has created an issue for me - there is a null exception when I try to use a variable or a filter value in the report body - I can't save the report. I have an OSS message out, but our BASIS guys are going to be taking the lead on troubleshooting this.
The reason that you are seeing some customers on the new pages is probably because of "how the cookie falls" - they just fit that way.
I am trying to be positive and overcome the limitations that are in place right now. If my technical issue is solved, I would recommend upgrading to the new patch (1403 is the latest stable one in my opinion)

Need a Tool to Display When a Program Was Last Used

Is there an SAP tool that tells when a program was last ran? I need to terminate some custom programs but unsure of which programs are not being used. Is there anything in SAP that I can use to tell me when a program was last used i.e., 6 months ago, 1 year or 2 years ago or perhaps more?

Hi Beth,
Information like this is as good as the logging configured in your system. If your basis team is good at keeping logs for a long time, then you should be able to get this information using SM20 transaction.
If they didn't keep the logs(since they are voluminous, they periodically delete them), then you have no trace of them). Work with your basis team, they may know more transactions.
Another option is to pick the programs that you think are obsolete, remove access to execute them from all the users and if no one comes back, you may delete it. But this means you may even have to wait for one year, as there may reports that are run only on year-end.
There is no straight forward way of knowing this information unless you have the basis help.

Running into two problems:
1. Despite the product actually being used on some computers, Recently Used Apps (RUA) View shows no usage (none in other SW Metering views, either) and not sure what the issue is--SW and HW inventory are both working perfectly fine, as
are the metering processes on the site server. Gives me a lot of false positives for not being used.
2. Have found some cases in which a previous version was installed, and used, then later upgraded, but not used--however, seems no way to filter out just usage for the CURRENT version. Have looked at comparing the SW File Version and the
RUA.File Version, but they are often not identical, particularly if the product was patched.
Is there a better way to determine usage, or a better custom report to use?

Infoobject Last Used On in Navigation

Hi,
I have a problem with the statistics data of detail OLAP navigation.
We have some infoobjects for which we believe the statistics are not updated.
For example, there's an infoobject "XYZ" which I used in navigation in the report.
This step should have been picked by statistics and updated in Infocube 0BWTC_C03.
But the counter or frequency for this object doesn't change.
The statistics are updated every night so I checked them the next day.
I'd like to know the underlying table from which the infocube 0BWTC_C03 gets this entry.
Or is there any other way to check if a particular infoobject has been used in navigation in reports?

Same here. The Last Used On column itself isn't enabled by default. Perhaps Microsoft dropped the feature for performance.

Last Use Date for iViews/Pages/Workset - Portal clean up of old items

Is there any scripts that SAP has created that shows the Portal Admin which iViews have been recently used by the users and which ones have not. We would like to go through our environments and Clean Up/Remove old none used code in the PCD.
I am hoping there is a script that can be run which produces a report stating Last Used/Executed date. If there is nothing like this, does any one know if there is any Data Base table or fields that can identify this type if data so we can create/write our own script? The PDC inspector may do this but its a very manual effort and we'd like something that is automated and runs in the background.
I know we can turn on metrics, but that will not work for us because it completely bogs down our systems and we can't afford that. Hence we are looking for something that runs in the background and will not effect our environments.

Thanks everybody for trying to asnwer the first question.
But I guess what I am really looking to find out, for every item we have in the PCD, is there a way to find the last used date? We don't want to turn on the metrics for a period of time like some of the solutions have suggested since that will bog down out production system and it still won't help us identify in our DEV and Test regions items that might still be valid but haven't been touched for a while or are still in development phases.
I was hoping that there would be a way that SAP would allow us to enter in a folder name, iview, workset, page, role, etc and then have the system tell us the last used/accessed date for that item or all of the items in the PCD folders. Kind of the reverse thought to get this data instead of letting the metrics tell us which users have hit which pages, etc.
Does any one know of that type of option?
