Z600 workstation cant request help without knowing 64 or 32 bit

I use the worstation at home but for any updates or inquiries it wants to know 62 or 32 bit--it has no sticker on the side like my other hp home pc. also when i want to use the help process it "cannot continue" because it says i have to be an administrator though i bought it for home use. bottom line--cant get into help process or email or anything since i dont know what to click to find out 64 or 32 bit. --i dont want to accidently click on update for 64--then mess things up if its 32 (am PRETTY sure its 64)
on the top it has intel zeon sticker--but i notice an update where it lists three types of zeon processors. used the computer for programming but now am starting it back up after about a year of non use as im retired. cant get to square one.
basically upon waking it up again--i need to get as many updates as possible that are backed up. have all info such as product and serial number and paid cash new. thanks

If the PC is running windows Vista or Windows 7, go to the control panel, system and security, system.
In the middle of the window (System), it will list whether or not your PC has a 32 or 64 bit operating system installed (next to System Type).

From you description, it sounds like you were using "1-click" to purchase & somehow switched to "shopping cart" for your purchases. If you want to go back to 1-click, go to your iTunes preference>store tab, the top section of the store tab is where you indicate which method you want to use to purchase your music.

That was very nice of you to provide your friend with a new phone! I am sorry to say that the device will not be able to activate while in Dubai. For a device to activate it must connect to the VZW network to become active. I apologize for any inconvenience.

You could well be looking at a new iPod, but this will only cost you a couple of bucks, and a little time. Worth trying, but it maybe to late, (I just don't want to give you any false hope.) Turn your iPod off and leave it off, do not attempt to charge it or use until you dry your iPod out. Put it in a sealed bag of rice for at least 7 to 10 days. change the rice daily. If (and it's a "BIG" if) your lucky after drying the iPod it will start up when you turn on the power. You may need to charge it for at least 30 minutes to get some signs of life. If it does not turn on after charging attempt a reset, press and hold both the power and home buttons together for about 15 seconds until the Apple logo appears, then release both buttons. If your iPod turns on, check that all is working. If you get it to work the first thing you should be is back up everything on your iPod to your computer, no guarantee it will continue to work. Water does bad things to electronic toys. If it doesn't work your only out a couple of bucks, then it's time for new toys. You may want to look at replacing with a refurbished iPod, about 1/2 of new. Good luck.

You should contact Apple by phone as soon as possible. You'll need to change your Apple ID and all passwords.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

If you are sending but not receiving, then there is something wrong with your incoming mail settings. Without knowing what the consequences of trying to receive are (behaviour of the phone, any error messages etc.), all I can suggest is that you check your account credentials. Also check if your e-mail provider requires any of the security settings to be activated.

In case anyone keeps track of such things, I'm among those folks who really doesn't recall ever being asked to create an iTunes backup password, but that's irrelevant to my question.
I'm not in any bind. I don't need my backup files to restore anything. I will shed no tears as they are moved to the Recycle Bin (indeed, I will gladly do the deed myself).
That said, it appears impossible to create a new backup password without knowing the previous one.
If the only "solution" is to wipe my iPhone's memory and start from scratch, I will be a sad camper.
Any help? Are backups to iCloud encrypted?

Additionally:
Be super critical & meticulous (and whatever other synonym I missed) when you get a new password:
Write it onto your bedroom wall, or someplace off of a computer that you will always find.
If you active 2-step verification, the key is VERY important. Lose it & you may be toast.
If you don’t 2 step verify, & use the Security Question instead --> do not lose, or forget the answers.
Very nearly the same outcome!!!!!: Bad experience.
If you add a 2nd email address, make sure its a RESCUE address not just an alternate address.
If you lose these, you lose access to your 3rd party purchases via Appstore for future upgrade. That will make you VEWY, VEWY UNHAPPY. Apple new OS versions do update, but add a new device & likely you will be unable to use your content on that device. It will never load if the ID locks up.
