Cash Journal - S_ALR_87012309 - total containing

Hi all,
I need your help to do this:
I'm using Tcode S_ALR_87012309 to print the cash journal;
In the first selection screen " G/L account selection" i fill the field G/L account with 2 cash accounts, for instance 5311bm01 and 5311bc01.
My question is :
What should I do to obtain a summary containing - the total of  the opening balance and the closing balance of the two cash accounts ?
Please help to solve this problem.
Thanks .

Dear Cincean,
Please update the below details in S_ALR_87012309 Print cash journal report and you will get the opening and closing balance output as required.
a) Chart of Accounts: Your chart of accounts. Example: INT
b) G/L account: Mention cash related G/L accounts in ranges example: 1030900004 to 1030900005
c) Company code: Example: 1000
d) Key dates: From date to To date
e) Currency: Leave it as blank as it will take all currencies
f)  Tick Standard Documents checkbox
g) Correspondence type: enter SAP18
h) Tick Cash document checkbox
i) Opening balance text: FI_CASH_BB
j) Closing balance text: FI_CASH_BB
k) Transfer text: FI_CASH_BB
l) Title text: FI_CASH_BB
j) List Variant: Select "2" for Germany
k) Additional heading: Update your own headings and will be reflected in cash journal report.
If you follow the above procedure, you will get the opening and closing balance of cash G/L account for the specified period.
Hope this helps. Assign points if helpful

    Hi,
Check T Code: FBCJC0, You should not specify the Additional Text in the last column of this T Code.
I am pasting the same help text here for your reference.

  • FI/FM - Earmarked funds - Consumption History (and cash journal)

Hello, I create accounting document (payment) in FBCJ and in FB01 transactions
    - Accounting document contains tax positions (Tax code + Calculate tax)
    - Accounting document contains a refer to Earmarked funds
When I create accounting document in FBCJ (cash journal), there are two positions in Consumption History of Earmarked funds appear - one position with total amount and another position with tax amount. Theese two positions have inverse sings. (see pic.)
When I create accounting document in FB01, only one position appears in Consumption History of Earmarked funds - with total amount. (see pic.)
I need to know how I can create accounting documents in FBCJ and create only one position in Consumption History of Earmarked funds? Probably I need some customization..?
    [Documents - picture ...|http://belrealty.ru/_my/sap/pic_04.gif]
    Best regards, Nick.

    Solved.
System creates reference to Earmarked funds In tax position of accounting document (in BSEG) when posting an accounting document from FBCJ. We create substitution in OBBH which delete this reference. The problem was solved.

    Dear
You can develop your own query(t.coide SQVI) by joining the following requisite tables based upon the requirement.  The following cash book tables especially TCJ_DOCUMENTS and  TCJ_POSITIONS and TCJ_TRANSACTIONS mostly have the data you need.  Just check up and after you feel satisfied with the output of the query a t.code can be developed by your abaper.

i am getting error while makng advance payment through cash journal t. code-f-48
"payment amount is larger than cash on hand ,change amount"
though i have sufficent cash balance even it is showing this error.
total available cash balance=rs 2,35,000 ans we are making advance of rs 2,00,000. getting above error but when we are making payment of Rs 1,00,000 it has posted and again we made another posting of rs 25,000 it also posted. but remaining(Rs 75,000) we cant post advance to the vendor.
our  Petty cash A/c  amount received  from head office through inter bank transfer.i have ceck all receipt no any receipt is park, all receipt are fully posted so there is no any question of less balance.apart from this i also chek tables of cash journal which automatically updated when cash received from head office.tables are 1.TCJ_position
    2.TCJ_documents
    3.BSIS
    4.BSEG
    5.BSIA
    6.BSAS.
the cash balance which are showing under fbl3n,FBCJ same are showing under above when i saw it in production through BASIS consultant.it means all cheques are fully posted.
one thing i want to tel you that l we are making this transaction for the month of 31st may 2010 not for today i.e 04-03-2011.because earlier we are using Tally now all previous transaction of tally are mapping into sap.
so, i want to inform all of you that this is back day posting in the month of        31st   MAY 2010, so above balance  of rs 2,35,000 standing in cash journal on this date.and we want to pay advance cash on this date i.e 31st may 2010.
before 31st may 2010 imean on 30-05-2010 we have only cash balance of rs 35,000.
and we received cash from head office on 31-05-2010 of rs 2,00,000 and we have to make advance payment of rs 2,00,000 to a vendor on the same day.but when making advance of rs 2,00,000 CANT DO THIS.can anyone suggest? one interesting thing is when i reduced amount to rs 1,00,000 it posted again doing so by rs 25,000 it also posted but remaining rs 75,000 cant and getting above error-
"payment amount is larger than cash on hand ,change amount" though i have still rs 1,10,000. then why this is coming?

Please check any future date documents are posted in system.
that means if you are trying to post on 05.03.2011 for the amount 5000 and balance is 10000. But if there is any document posted on 06.3.2011 with amount 7000, system will not allow to post document on 05.03.2011 eventhough you have balance on 05.03.2011.
Just check, It can be one of the reasons.

  • Cash Journal Branch creation concept

    Dear Friends,
Can any one please explain about the Petty cash in sap.
I did the set up in petty cash like creation of Branch account.
Please help me to understand the actual concept of petty cash in sap. how its works in the system.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Mahendra

    Hi,
    Concept of Cash Journal:
You can use the cash journal to manage cash transactions in your company. You can post cash receipts and cash payments, print receipts, and print out a cash journal. The cash journal in the R/3 System is a subsidiary ledger, which contains documents that are transferred from the cash journal to the general ledger in SAP FI. A cash journal is kept in one currency.
The cash journal does not include functions for accepting and depositing checks.
Each cash journal is assigned a G/L account to which the documents in the general ledger are posted.
When a posting is made to a cash journal, the documents with the following document types are posted:
    Business transaction                                   Document Type
    G/L account postings                                      AB
    Vendor: incoming/outgoing payments     KZ
    Customer: incoming/outgoing payments     DZ
You can create your own business transactions that have to be posted. In the cash journal transaction FBCJ, you can create, change, and delete business transactions.
We can provide the following business transactions for cash journal accounting:
    Business transaction type
    E = Expenses
    D = Customer posting
    K = Vendor posting
B = Payment to ICBC bank account
B = Payment to BOC bank account
C = Payment from bank account
C = Payment to bank account
    R = Revenue
    Cash Journal Configuration steps:
    1. Create GL Account for Cash Journal (Post Automatically): FS00 or FS01
    2. Amount Limit: Path: IMG/FA/Bank Accounting/Business Transactions/Cash Journal
    3. Define Document Types for Cash Journal Documents - Tcode: OBA7
    4. Define No. Range Intervals for Cash Journal Documents- CJC1
    5. Set up Cash Journal - Tcode: CJC0
    6. Create, Change, Delete Business Transactions - Tcode: CJC2
    7. Set up Print Parameters for Cash Journal -  CJC3
    8. Cash Journal Posting : FBCJ
    Hope this helps you,
    Regards,

    Good Day All,
When we posted Cash Journal transaction FBCJ and do a split transaction of 7 lines on the cash receipt. The system only posted the first 4 line items, but with the amount of the total transaction. The other three transactions were not posted and the system showed that the transaction is not completed. Therefor we cannot revers the transaction via FBCJ.
    Kindly see example
Split transaction the way the user split the money.
    1) Customer receipt           5.383,18  Customer Account
    2)  Customer receipt           5.960,05  Customer Account

    4)Customer receipt  R 15 000,00     15 Customer Account   40 Cash Journal
    Please Help
    Martie

    Good Morning Marssell,
Thank You very much for your reply. Sorry for the long explanation, but hope this will give you a better understanding of my problem.
I do not understand you question. Are these 3 line items changing account balance?
The system did post to the offsets G/L accounts (Cash Journal posted G/L accounts) for the customer accounts.
I did the same scenario in the QA client and its working fine see transaction below.
The splitting was entered as follow.
    1)Customer receipt        5.383,18    Customer Account
    2) Customer receipt       5.960,05    Customer Account
    3) Customer receipt      25.798,85    Customer Account
    4) Customer receipt      32.070,27    Customer Account
    5) Unallocated receipt      44.142,49    General Ledger Account
    6) Unallocated receipt       2.348,52    General Ledger Account
    7) Unallocated receipt          247,21    General Ledger Account
The total amount of all the line items is R 115.950,57
The system posted the transaction as follow
    1     40     115122     5.383,18     Petty Cash Account
    2     40     115122     5.960,05     Petty Cash Account
    3     40     115122     25.798,85     Petty Cash Account
    4     40     115122     32.070,27     Petty Cash Account
    5     40     115122     44.142,49     Petty Cash Account
    6     40     115122     2.348,52     Petty Cash Account
    7     40     115122     247,21     Petty Cash Account
    8     15     80930051     5.383,18-     Customer Account
    9     15     80930033     5.960,05-     Customer Account
    10     15     80930037     25.798,85-     Customer Account
    11     15     80930065     32.070,27-     Customer Account
    12     50     800030     38.721,49-     GL account
    13     50     805550     2.060,10-     GL account
    14     50     805120     216,85-     GL account
    15     50     175000     5.739,78-     Vat Output Account
But in the production it’s posting the transaction incorrect see transaction below.
The splitting was the same as above but the system did not post the GL lines, and it used the Total amount of the splitting. In other words the system post a total of R 463 802,28 into the Petty Cash account instead of a total of R  115.950,57
    1     40     115122     115.950,57     Petty Cash Account
    2     15     80930051     115.950,57     Customer Account
    1     40     115122     115.950,57     Petty Cash Account
    2     15     80930033     115.950,57     Customer Account
    1     40     115122     115.950,57     Petty Cash Account
    2     15     80930037     115.950,57     Customer Account

  • Difference between Cash Counter and Cash Journal

    Hi All,
Please tell me what is the difference between Cash Counters, Cash Journal And Cash Book.
How can we use all of these in SAP FI?
    Please revert asap.
    Thank You

    Dear Verma
    Cash Journal
The cash journal is a subledger of Bank Accounting. It is used to manage a company's cash transactions. The system automatically calculates and displays the opening and closing balances, and the receipts and payments totals. You can run several cash journals for each company code. You can also carry out postings to G/L accounts, as well as vendor and customer accounts.
To my knowledge there is nothing called Cash Book and Cash Counters in SAP. If this helps please reward with points.
    Best Regards

The reference key in the header document are same for both the documents. Some times it is posting 1 profit center document  sometimes it is posting 2 profit center document. When we reverse cash such kind of document journal with reversal reason  05 what will be the impact. What is reversal reason 05?

Add the export parameter E_NEG_DATE  LIKE  SY-DATUM (or as of Release 6.0, the parameter E_NEG_DATE  TYPE  SY-DATUM) to the function module FCJ_CHECK_NEG_BALANCE.
Change the error message F5A 212 as follows: "Reversal/deletion is not possible - a negative balance would result on &1"
Implement the attached source code changes in your system.
If the system generates error message F5A 212, it now specifies the date on which the negative balance would arise.
