HI,
RTP - Returnable transport packaging (RTP) is a multi-trip packaging medium (for example, pallets or containers) in which goods can be transported more than once between vendors and customers.
Returnable transport packaging from a vendor that is stored at a location on your premises is managed as special stock and clearly assigned as belonging to the vendor. It is the property of the vendor and is therefore not included in the customeru2019s valuated stock.
What Type of Stock is This?
RTP stocks from vendors are externally owned and are not valuated.
RTP stock is always unrestricted-use stock. The stock can neither be in quality inspection nor blocked
1.We can use any material for RTP or we can use LEIH material type for a material of RTP type.
2.During GR we do it with respect to PO so the material ordered within the PO displays as default. In order to get the RTP material we add a separate material with 501 M mvt type. The order material will have 101 mvt type.
3Initial Entry for RTP is also possible with MB1C 561 M.
4.Transfer posting of RTP material from one storage location to another can also me done with the mvt type 311 M.
5.You post a return with reversal movement types 502 M and 562 M.
Consignments - In consignment processing, the vendor provides materials and stores them on your premises. The vendor remains the legal owner of the material until you withdraw materials from the consignment stores. Only then does the vendor require payment. The invoice is due at set periods of time, for example, monthly. In addition, you can also arrange with the vendor that you take over ownership of the remaining consignment material after a certain period of time.
1.Created a material as GENERAL1 u2013 MM01
2.Created a Vendor  as GENERAL u2013 XK01
3.Created a consignment info record for the above material and vendor combination u2013 ME11.
4.Created a PR with ITEM CATEGORY as K u2013 Consignments. u2013 ME51N
5.Created a PO wrt this PR  u2013 ME21N
6.GR can be done with respect to PO or without PO
7.Transferring Consignment stock to Own Stock = MB1B 411 K
8.Consignment Settlements can be done by MRKO
Pipeline - A pipeline material is a material that flows directly into the production process from a pipeline (for example, oil), from a pipe (for example, tap water), or from another similar source (for example, electricity).
A material from the pipeline is always available; i.e. it can be withdrawn from the pipeline at any time and in any quantity.
1. Creating a Pipeline Material  - MM01 - PIPE
2. Creating a Pipeline Info Record - ME11
3. Maintaining the Source List - ME01
4. Posting Goods Issue from the Pipeline - MIGO
5. Settling Pipeline Liabilities - MRKO
Third Party - In third-party processing, you place a purchase order with a vendor to deliver goods or perform a service for a third party (for example, for a customer).
This means that your company does not deliver the material. You forward the order to an external vendor instead, who then sends the material directly to the customer and invoices you.

  • Third party contract

I have a contract with the vendor who will supply my customer directly. vendor will invocie me and i in turn will bill the customer.
This basically third party sale processing.
Now I have to create a contract for third party. But there is no item category third party S in the case of contracts. In std sap in ME31K following items categories are given:
    1. Standard
    2. subcontracting
    3. service
    4. material unknown
    5. material group.
do I have to maintain a contract using standard item category. will system understand during source determination and assign the vendor from contract that it is meant for third party processing when purchase requisitions are created automatically from sales order in third party deal.

Thanks , my question was :

  • Consignment sale process using third party.

    Hi Friends
Whether one can do Consignment sale process using third party. That is instead of stock being supplied by the Company a third party supplies the goods directly to the customer but this stock is to be treated a consignment stock.
Is this possible....if yes then how.
    Nagesh Murthy.

    hi;
This is very much possible. Well a little ABAP help would be needed of course. But this is how it can work....
    1. Initially create a contract with the Vendor and let him build stocks and keep them in consignment. The contract itself will be for consignment. So the PO we create must be for consigned stocks.
    2. Once the stocks are created in consigned status we can change the availabilty check to refer to the stock status in the consigned level. So getting a Schedule line will not be an issue.
    3. Now, when the delivery is created we can trigger an output where in we can consume the stocks. This output would typically trigger a Call Off PO which will consume the stocks from the consigned status for delivering. This will happen only at the System level. Physical good will always be in the Consignment status at the vendor location. Once the Call Off PO is GR'd the stocks comes in to our account and then the PGI is done.  To develop this we nee ABAP's help.
    4. So all along the Stock is treated as Consignment stock and only at the time of PGI we take it into our account.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if you need further info.

    Mani.

  • Third Party Sale with Consignment  ?

    Hi All
Our client has a very specific requirement  , they want their vender to put the stock at the customer's premises , so that the customer can use the material as per their requirement . Clint is a Treading concern. So how to map the scenario ?
to my mind it involves third party sale as the client is a treading concern and want the material to be delivered from vendor's plant  to the customer directly.  But also involves consignment sale  as we cant bill the customer untill and unless the customer  inform us about the quantity they have  consumed.
So please suggest any idea with detail process only.
    Thanks in advance
    Ashok
    Please suggest....

    Hi Ashok,
this is clearly a third party scenario.
you bill the customer on the basis of vendor's invoice.
and vendor will invoice the customer only when the customer uses the materials.
so from the perspective of a vendor,
    its a consignment scenario.
so just follow our standard third party scenario.
    good luck.

  • THird Party PO Scenario - GR into Customer Consignment Stock

    HI,
In a Third party scenario, is there any possible way to post the GR into Customer consignment stock ?!
    In std SAP,
PR is generated from Sales order and the PO is created w.r.to the PR.
PR & PO will have the acct assignment ( sales order) and item category (third party).
during GR,  we can't see the stock in the system. because the GR is statistical one since the stock is directly deliverd at customer place.
But in the current world in our case,
the stock is delivered in an external warehouse, from where the goods will be delivered to customer at a later point.
we want to track the stock in external warehouse. so, we want to have this as the "customer consignment stock". ( we may have this as a SLOC and from there we can transfer to customer consignment stock. but there will not be any link for the sales order and this customer consignment stock and moreover during GR we are not updating the stock...)
    SO here is the question,
how can we update the stock during GR for Third party order( as far as I know, we can't define new item category).
If we are updating the stock during GR for 3rd party, then we may find a way to post it to the customer consignment....
    Pls share your ideas..thanks.

  • Maintaining Time in Cats for Third Party Contract Employees

    Hi ,

  • Combination of third party sales and consignment sales.....................

    Hi All,
Is it possible to do consignment sale process using third party. That is instead of stock being supplied by the Company a third party supplies the goods directly to the customer but this stock is to be treated a consignment stock.
Is this possible....if yes then how

    HI ,
Generally in Third party scenario no Movement type will trigger in SAP. just to create Invoice GR has been posted in SAP, check with MM team is there  any Movement type is there to post the Stock to consignment while doing GR.
Movement 631 is  Unrestricted to Consignment stock
May be similar kind of movement can be used.
Maintain the third party Item as Consignment fill up item except Billing relevance.
its just work around above explanation.
Other wise whenever Third party order created better to post the Consignment stock with order quantity quantity using user Exit and based on Invoice created u can reduce the quantity, if you want just for reporting purpose.
    Thanks,
    pavan.

  • Third Party Signature on contract

I've developed a contract and need a third party to sign it. Would like to use a digital signature idea - or a "click-through" accept.
I found how to create a digital signature for myself.
Does anyone know how to save the form then allow and require the person you send the form to to sign it?
    Thanks.

You would have to add a digital signature field to the document and then Reader-enable the document, assuming it has to work with Reader. The user would have to have a digital ID, which they can create in Reader. You cannot force the user to sign it before viewing the document, if that's what you wanted.

Help with Error Code 1015 during restoring iphone 3G?

Sorry, but we cannot help you with jailbroken iPhones in this forum. You will probably need to go back to this "third party" who jailbroke your iPhone and ask for assistance.
Note that even if you can get the iPhone restored, that will almost certainly remove the unlock. Only if an iPhone is offically unlocked by the cell carrier can you restore or upgrade the operating system and have the iPhone remain unlocked.

  • Purchase Requisition for Third party direct

    Hi Experts,
When I am creating a third party direct sales order, a purchase requisition will be automatically triggered from it.
I can see the purchase requisition number in the item details (schedule lines) of sales order.
Please tell me how can I change the source of supply. For me it is defualt as purchase info record but I want to use Contracts instaed of infor records.
Can anybody tell Is there any customizing settings for it ?
    Thanks.
    Nishant.

You shouldn't have to do any config settings.  This is standard.  So create your contract and release it.  In the source list add the vendor and enter the contract number in the agreement field and subject it to MRP as well as fixing the vendor and blocking the other vendor in the source list.  Re run MRP and the purchase reqs will reference the contracts.  Make sure the validity date of both the contract the the line item in the source list are long enough to capture all reqs.

  • Third party order

a TPO is creating a PR and we want to create a Contract out of that( i.e PR) and not PO by refrencing the PR.Kindly help me ASAP

    Hello,
In third Party scenario Pr gets created automatically and you want to create contract out of it. I just want to understand the reason behind this.
You can create contract with refering this Pr but again you have to create release order (PO ) for ordering.
Instead of this you can creat a contract before and assign Contract as source of supply and maintain source list so that you can directly create release order from PR.

  • Third Party Order/STO

    Hi Gurus,
I have a nice scenario here in my project. We are working in project system and plant and maintenance modules in ECC 6.0. The PS netwrok order is created with either of the options-network or third party. Now the scenario for third party is like this- The project wants the vendor to send the the material to directly to the project site and they mention project site address in the network order. Once they release the order- reqs are generated with item category as third party. We are working in extended classic scenario SRM 5.0. so reqs are to be tranfered to SRM and create PO further. My problem is these reqs are getting failed in SRM. These gives an error in SRM in SLG1- "ordering party does not exist".
Note that in network order they don't specify vendor but they only choose option third party and enter the address of the project site. How can I resolve this problem?
    2. We are making material tranfers from one plant to another using stock transport order and the plants are assigned to one company only. within the company they are doing tranfer beacuse the plant sites are at different locations. Now for stock trannsport order they create plant as vendor in ECC using XK01 and assing supplying plant to this vendor. Then they create a work order in PM using iw01. In this work order they add componets and assign the this plant which is created as vendor to this componet in the field fixed vendor. Reqs are generated thru this work order but gets failed in SRM. SLG1 error i don't exactly remember now, but it gives an error related to the vendor..Please let me know how do I work for this scenario?
    Thanks and Regards

  • Third party for subcontractor

    Hi,
Kindly help me to map below scenario:
I have 2 company codes AAAA and BBBB.BBBB is a customer to AAAA.
BBBB place a order to AAAA,AAAA in turn place an order to its sub-contracting vendor XXXX.
AAAA sends component material to XXXX and ask him to deliver the FG directly to BBBB.
Kindly let me know if I can map through third party process as vendor is subcontracting vendor.
How goods receipt is handled in this.
Please let me know if any other way to map this.
    Regards,
    Venkatesh

    HI
Customer : BBBB , Vendor : XXXXX  in Company Code : AAAAA
    1. Create BBBB as a Customer with Company code AAAA
    2. Raise a Sale order for the customer (BBBB) with Company Code AAAA (Like Third part Sales ). once you save the Sale order system will generate automatically PR number
    3. WIth reference of PR number will raise the PO with Vendor XXXXX
4.Vendor XXXXX will delivery the Goods to BBBB
    5. AAAA will raise the Bil to BBBB (Customer )
    I hope you Understand

  • QM in Third Party Orders

    Gurus
In one of my scenario I want to deactivate Inspection Lot generation for Third Party Procurements
If I procure Material M1 with Inspection Type - 01 from Vendor V1 through normal procurement inspection lot should be created (Which is working fine) but if I prcoure same material from the same vendor but this time and its directly been dispatched to the Customer then in this flow
I need to create GR (Statistical GR - To ensure Material is received by Customer and accounting entries)
This time Inspection lots are getting generated.
How can I restrict this ?
    Thanks
    KK

    Hi KK,
What I have understood is, you donu2019t want inspection lot to generation if the consignment is directly going to customer.
Inspection activity is based on the movement type. By which movement type this material is dispatched to your customer? Deactivate inspection for that movement type. Follow this path for the same. QCC0 -> Quality inspection > inspection lot generation > Inspection for goods movement > Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type >Select the movement and tick on QM Not active checkbox.
If you are using the same movement type in both the cases, I would suggest to customize the different movement type and deactivate QM for that movement.
This will ensure no generation of inspection lot.
