Creative Cloud Teams member cannot log in via Desktop app

Weird problem I have. Our company have 9 seat teams account, and one of our users cannot log in via the desktop app and use apps. Have worked just fine for the last year until today.
He has the old Application Manager installed as well as he had upgraded from older apps, and we are renewing our yearly subscription these days. Could any of that be the problem. Odd thing is, he is the only team member that has this problem.
He can log in to his account on the web just fine.

  • Cannot access Story via desktop app (OS X 10.7.3)

I cannot access my online account via the Desktop app though I am able access my account via Firefox web browser.
I am using Mac OS X 10.7.3 on a 2007 MacBook Pro.  I have tried to uninstall (including system files) and re-install the
app with no success.  Do you have any suggestions?

No, not at all. It used to work on the same OS Lion. And just for an FYI, the system preference path that you recommended DOES NOT work with OS X 10.7.2....maybe it worked with the 10.7.2 but not with the latest. Do you have any recommendation?
Here are two screenshots of the error that I get. The first one is the error that I get when I input my right username and password. I tried to check if it was a matter of wrong password, but it is not as you can see on screenshot 2. So I need help!!!
And btw it says that I am running Adobe Story build 838. I cannot install any other version.

  • Why does it say chat is available 24/7 but then tell me chat is closed when I try to launch it? I am a Creative Cloud Team member.

What are my other support options at 4:15pm PST on a Sunday?

Thanks, Ned. It's a licensing question. A support rep told me in a chat on Friday that I could add/remove licenses at will on a monthly basis as long as I maintain the primary license for the annual team contract. I just wanted to confirm this.
I have a freelancer helping me on a project for a couple of weeks. I want to add him to my team license and pay for the additional license for the month. But at the end, can I turn that license off after a month and go back to my previous monthly. Or am I stuck with an unused license?
The FAQs aren't real clear. It looks like you can cancel a license with a fee. But it doesn't say how much that fee is. But the chat rep told me I could cancel anytime. So I'm confused.
My freelancer starts in the morning so I just wanted to get this sorted out.

  • One of our Team users cannot sign into CC desktop app on OS X 10.8.5

Every time of our CC for Team users tries to sign into the CC app in OS X 10.8.5 he just gets a message saying "You have been signed out"
In addition, on startup of his iMac he also receives continuous popup messages saying that admin rights are required (something along those lines) until he quits the app and starts it up again.
    CC app version is 1.7.0.413
Today I tried completely removing the app using the uninstaller and even after reinstalling he gets the same sign in issue.
    Any ideas please?

Just resolved this will online support chat...
In case anyone else comes across the same issue, all you need to do to fix this in OS X is:
    quit CC app
    open terminal
    type: cd ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    type: sudo rm opm.db
relaunch CC app and it should be fixed

  • Free trial of Illustrator CC, did not download but my Creative cloud lists it as an already downloaded desktop app. Please help!

Nevermind, super easy fix... I just 'Quit"  CC, and reopened it. It recognized that Illustrator was not downloaded, so I simply clicked the available Trial download button, and it installed just fine.

  • Can I transfer seats from one Creative Cloud team account to another?

I originally set up my Creative Cloud Teams account through a reseller, but I have been having a bad experience with the reseller.
So I set up a new Creative Cloud Teams account directly through Adobe.
Is it possible to transfer the seats from the old account to the new one? Ultimately, I'd like to cancel the teams account managed by the reseller.

    Hey imattster!
If you are speaking of merging your Apple IDs so that the purchases are under a singular account, this question is addressed in the Apple ID FAQ which can be found here:
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
If you are wondering how using multiple Apple IDs relate to iCloud, see Apple IDs and iCloud.
Frequently asked questions about Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5622
However, I have an article for you that can help you use your new iCloud account for personal data while continuing to use your old Apple ID/iCloud account for your purchased items so that you do not have to worry about not being able to utilize any previously purchased apps:
Using one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store Purchases
You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud. Just follow these steps:
    iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
When you first set up your device with iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you want to use with iCloud. If you skipped the setup assistant, sign in to Settings > iCloud and enter the Apple ID you’d like to use with iCloud.
In Settings > iTunes and App Stores, sign in with the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match). You may need to sign out first to change the Apple ID.

Also, this article will guide you in downloading those previously purchased items onto your new device:

  • Trouble with newly purchased Creative Cloud Team

I just purchased Creative Cloud Team with 5 seats.  When we go to download the different applications, some only say "TRY".  WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?!?!
I get Premiere and After Effects, but Photoshop only has a "TRY" button.  My coworker isn't even seeing Premiere in his options!  What is going on here?!
    Someone, please help.
    Thanks.

No worries, just follow some extra steps.
Did you assign seats to your coworkers ?
You have to log-in with the email and password of the Team manager; probably the one who purchased it - you as well ? Then look for the button to manage your team (assigning seats by inviting probably yourself and other users). Don't forget they all (you included) need to click the Acceptance link in the invitation email they received ! After that, the application buttons will display "Install".

  • Upgrade to Creative Cloud Teams from single CC membership

I currently have a single Creative Cloud Membership, and would like to upgrade to a CC Teams membership.  What is the best way to handle this?

    Hi Engelads,
You can purchase the Creative cloud team subscription from www.creative.adobe.com or through a reseller. But make sure you cancel the individual subscription before placing the order for the Creative Cloud for teams because on one Adobe Id there can be only one subscription.
You will not have to uninstall the CC applications which you have already installed in your computer. You just need to launch Adobe creative cloud desktop app --- logout and log back in.
    Thanks
    Kapil

  • Is there a path to transfer a Creative Cloud license to a Creative Cloud Team Ready license?

Our team wants to be on Creative Cloud as soon as it is officially released (hopefully for $29.99 per user). When Creative Cloud Team Ready is released, we would like the option to convert to Team Ready without a penalty. Will that be an option?

This is very unfortunate, and the introductory video is misleading, as I watched it and got excited for the new product I believed from what I was seeing and hearing that this would indeed have team availability. Why wouldnt Adobe launch this for use in teams, this doesnt make any sense to launch this only for individuals, I would imagine most professionals self and publically employed touch a team at some point in thier workflow. Has nothing been taken from googles example, docs 'etal?
This is befuddling, I talked to an adobe agent and asked if I should wait to buy the individual offereing because of any confusion or not being able to merge into  a team offering and they said, yes you should probably wait because we don't know how they will work together if at all, because CCTeam is going to be a completely separate offering.... Really, you guys really dont know how its going to or not going to work together for someting slated to launch later this year? wouldnt the obvious be to include in the development a way for it work, perhaps bringing individual accounts under an umbrella company account, which would be great because then individual users could move from company to company seemlessly, there should also be a way for separate companies to connect to each other via the cloud system for team projects and then disconnect after the job is done. Versioning and cloud amoung groups of individuals and groups of companies is almost a must nowadays. <hoping for the best>
Here is the copy from my transcript of talking to an adobe agent, he says there is no reseller Option, David_b?
My name is Robert H, how can I help you today?
Robert H: Hello, how may I assist you?
David Blanchet: I wanted to ask a couple questions about cs6 team
      Robert H: Okay
David Blanchet: I am self employed with a business partner, how can we both use cs6 creative cloud
David Blanchet: meaning basically is there a solution where both of us can access the cloud hosting of images and collateral
Robert H: Creative Cloud is designed for individual use at this time.  We will be adding a team edition in the short future.
David Blanchet: I tryied calling the cctr company in the us CDW and they had no ide what i was talking about
Robert H: Creative Cloud is not sold through resellers and is only sold through adobe.com
David Blanchet: if I purchase and individual license now, well if we both do, can we merge them into the company offering later this year, or have you all not gotten to that aspect yet?
Robert H: No they will be different platforms.
David Blanchet: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4389436#4389436 this adobe forum post lead me to the Adobe Creative Cloud? Team Ready and a page which gave me more info on how to find a reseller??
David Blanchet: ok so should I wait on purchasing the individual product? I;d hate to purchase and indivdual product then when the team offering comes out, not be able to get out of the personal one
Robert H: I would wait since the details have not been released yet.
David Blanchet: ok, fyi this is where i found the reseller info : http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/companies.edu.html
David Blanchet: well thats all I have, thank you
      Robert H: Thanks,
Robert H: Have a nice day
      David Blanchet: you too

  • How many user licenses are allowed under Creative Cloud TEAM?

I have at least five employees, maybe a few more, who would be using the various applications available. Much of the time they would all need to be working in the same application simultaneously. Three of them are on Macs, two are using PCs. How many subscriptions to Creative Cloud Team do I need to cover this? From the information I have sifted through, I see that one user license means that there is some way an individual user is identified and that user can install the software on two different machines. Is that correct? Then, how many actual different "users" are allowed on one subscription of the TEAM?
I also see information regarding "seats" and "devices". I suppose "seats" is another term for individual user? And "devices" is whatever machine, be it computer, iPad, etc.
All I want to know is the Team version going to cover my needs or do I need to go to Enterprise? Or what?

You can buy as many number of seats as you wish to. Each seat is assigned to one User by sending an invite & the the User accepts the invite from his mail.
Each seat has 100 GB of storage space. Each User can activate CC twice. Hence the users can use the same app at the same time as they will be logged with their own Adobe ID .

  • Going from single app to Creative Cloud team account

I had the monthly single app for $9.99 per month beginning December 1, 2013. I just joined a Creative Cloud Team account and am the second person on that team. Do I have to uninstall the products I currently have installed before I install the apps I need? I tried just adding what I don't have and got error messages that didn't tell me a thing.

    Hi Littlenance,
You need not uninstall or re-download any application if the adobe id you are using is the same.
Just sign out and sign in to the Creative cloud application as mentioned in the link: Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app
