E-Commerce for ERP role mapping to UME

Experts,
We have successfully configured the ECO module to use the UME in addition to SU01.  We are able to create users in both systems in ISAUSERADMIN.  However, the newly created users in UME have no roles assigned to them.  We found one SAP Note that seems to be relevant ([891151|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/891151]).  Unfortunately, it is very vague on how to setup the user mapping.  We have tried several permutations of the role assignments to no avail.
Has anyone done this before, and if so could you provide some examples?

We discovered the problem.  We were updated the right file for the wrong application.  The file ume-config.xml needs to updated from the application crm~isauseradm.  Once we discovered this, the UME role mapping worked.  We are now able to assign UME roles to a new user when they are created or updated in ISAUSERADMIN.

  • E-Commerce for ERP and CUA

We are installing the E-Commerce module for ERP and we are running into an issue with the User Management peice.  We are unable to create new users.  The error we are getting is:
1.- You do not have authorization to maintain users in the central system
2.- Error while creating user in Service Backend
Is this because we are using CUA to manage users in ECC?  If so, how can we get around this?
    Our environement is:
    ECC 6.0
    E-Commerce (ISA) 5.0
    Netweaver 7.0 SP 18
We have also configured the E-Commerce module to use the UME.
Maximum points to the first person with an answer and helpful a work-around.

    Hi Andrew,
We are installing the same thing currently using the B2B E-commerce for ERP option.  We have configured E-Commerce right now to use the SU01 contact person for web users.  Also, the manager does have the same role you pointed out below SAP_ISA_UADM_MANAGER assigned, not the other CRM role mentioned.
The process we have to go through right now is to create the user in CUA, sync that to ECC, assign the customer contact person number in the SU01 References table related to the customer we want them to be(working on an abap program to do this automatically from CUA), and then the user should be able to log into E-Commerce for that specific customer.
We are embedding the E-Commerce app into EP 7.0 through i-views and using single sign on from portal so customers won't have to log in again anywhere.  Please let me know if this is similar, if it helps, and what type of ecommerce configuration you're using...especially in how you configured the e-commerce module to use the UME.

  • E-commerce for ERP

Where can I find the documentation for installation of E-Commerece for ERP?  We just upgraded to ECC 6.0 and was looking for a solution to move away from the old "Online Store" & ITS.  We currently use this old way for B2B & B2C transactions.
I heard that it should be packed w/ ECC 6.0.
I have a couple other questions: is there a specific stack that it is located in?  The current stack we have installed is the ABAP stack and not the Java stack because we ran into issues getting it installed.
Is there any new coding that would need to be done to port what we've done with the online store over into E-commerce for ERP?
What resources are needed to install, migrate and setup the new E-commerce for ERP?
Does it have a restriction on Browser it supports?  I know w/ the integrated ITS it only supports IE & Firefox.

Better late than never Good news is, you can leverage all of the new features and easily maintainable application. Bad news is, there is no upgrade path. It will be a totally new implementation as far as the E-Commerce side is concerned.

    Can you be more clear.

Java stack is mandatory for E-Commerce for ERP and you should be installing the component XECO  See if this note gives some tips on the Java installation. For more details, please open a separate thread. I can provide help if you are more specific.

  • Linking one Contact Preson to many customers for e-Commerce for ERP

    Hi,
On the e-Commerce for ERP I have a need of linking one Contact Person with Many Customers.
The requirement is that one user will be given access to e-Commerce Application, this user should be allowed to create orders for multiple SoldTos. So as soon as the contact person will logon s/he will be asked to choose the SoldTo and so will be able to create orders for that SoldTos. s/he can then logoff and relogin to choose 2nd soldTo to create order for this one.
But now I am not able to find a way to link a contact person to other customers. Am not sure if above will be possible or not. Can you guide me how that can be done.
    Thanks

    Hello Roopali,
Use Business-On_Behalf scenario for external customers. - When a user (for example, agent) can act on behalf of several customers, the system cannot automatically determine the customer from the user ID. In order for the agent to be able to choose the customer for whom he or she is currently working in the Web shop, special settings are required.
Requires setting external sales partners  by [Configuring Relationship Between Sales Partner and Customer|http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2005/helpdata/EN/8e/5c2c42184a5333e10000000a155106/content.htm]
When successfully configured, the sales partner can select the customer for whom he or she is currently working on the tab page Customers. The sales partner can also switch the customer on this tab page without leaving the Web shop.

  • SAP E-commerce for ERP with SAP Retail back-end

    Hi,
does anyone implemeted an E-commerce solution with a SAP Retail backend system?
Our dubt is if durig order entry E-commerce application consider the  product variant grid (like in VA01) or not.
We found that this function is supported with an AFS back-end, but we would like to know if it is available also with a retail system.
Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi,
while we have quite a few implementatinos with E-Commerce and SAP Retail backend, the specific grid functionality you have seen in AFS is not supported with Retail backend. Hence, most customers enhance the standard product offering at that point, catering for e.g. drop down list boxes with style/color/size selection. In case you're only selling "normal" retail products (individual SKUs), the standard product works fine.
    Thanks

  • SAP E COMMERCE FOR ERP : Maintaining catalog variants in multiple languages

    Hi All,
I have created a product catalog with 2 variants, one for english and other for russian, have maintained the texts in corresponding langiages in the layout area.
I created a webshop and used the catalog variant for russian, but still when the end user( his correspondence lang is maintained as russian) logs in to b2b he sees the product descriptions only in english.
In the shopadmin , webshop properties -> General Information tab, there is a field called "Language". When i maintain this as "RU" the shop itself is not displayed to the end user.
Please let me know what is the procedure to display the products in multiple languages!!! I must be missing something.
    Thanks for help!
    Lisha

I've to ask you in an other way...
What you see when you call this link:
    http://<server>:<port>/contextroot/b2b/init.do?language=ru
And what you see when you call:
    http://<server>:<port>/contextroot/b2b/init.do?language=en
You say en is working, but what you see by the RU-link?? Any error or something?
I think your problem is this:
--> Now when I login to my B2B, then I am unable to see this russian shop, but the other shop that I maintained for "Language" as EN, I can see that shop.
You want to login and then want to see the 2 variants? But you've to call the apps only with http://<server>:<port>/contextroot/b2b/init.do?language=en  or http://<server>:<port>/contextroot/b2b/init.do?language=ru
then it should work with 2 languages?
If it's not working, there is an error message?
The language RU is installed on your SAP?
I'm configurating this for you on my testsystem now. Please contact me at fan @ sfsservices.biz to receive the logindatas.

  • E-Commerce 5.0 for ERP and re-using a Quote

We have an E-Commerce 5.0 for ERP environment that has been up and running for three years now. Everything is working great and we've made many custom enhancements through the years, but there is one that business is asking for that I've not been able to tackle yet, so I'd thought it best to get some advice.
If you are familiar with E-Commerce 5.0 for ERP you should have noticed that a Quote can only be referenced (used) by an Order one time. After that has occured, the next time you access the Quote on the B2B site, the "Order Quote" button is greyed-out. This appears to be standard functionality. The main issue is the fact that there is no way to change the order quantity before you press the "Order Quote" button. It is not a text field.
On the contrary, however, when creating a Quote within the ERP system (ECC6), one can reference (use) the Quote many times in the creation of Orders assuming you are not referencing the complete line quantity.
What is going on? Where should I start looking on how to adjust the "web" quote to allow for this re-use? Could it be as simple as changing the qty field from a label to a text box, which would allow the customer to change the value?
Any advice or ideas are welcome!
    Thanks

If anyone knows how to get a user-entered custom value from the item level to a custom java class, please let me know.
I'm still looking into how to extend the quote and allow for the re-use of it, if all the quantity on the line item has not been exhausted.
I can easily add a custom field to the header of a .jsp and access that user entered value by coding against the requestParser.
    Example: Parameter xxx = requestParser.getParameter("customerHeaderParm");
But, when I add a customer parameter to the item level of the .jsp, I cannot leverage the same to code and get at the user entered value. The value comes back as null.
The two files I am working with are as follows: orderstatusdetail.jsp and Z_DocumentStatusOrderQuotAction, which is an extension of the standard class, DocumentStatusOrderQuotAction.
I am working with the requestParser within the ActionForward isaPerform() method of Z_DocumentStatusOrderQuotAction. I need to get to those item level values BEFORE the order is created from the quotation.

    Dear Experts,

But the IBD is not created in EWM.

  • Catalog views for ERP E-Commerce for MySAP ERP ECC 5.0

We are implementing the R/3 version of CRM-ISA (ERP E-Commerce for MySAP ERP ECC 5.0).
We need to implement product catalog views to allow filtering based on specific attributes.
We have created a custom function module Z_ISA_READ_CATALOG_COMPLETE to replace ISA_READ_CATALOG_COMPLETE and  Z_ISA_CUSTOMER_READ_CAT_VIEWS to replace ISA_CUSTOMER_READ_CAT_VIEWS.
But when we test from ISA the FM Z_ISA_READ_CATALOG_COMPLETE does not get invoked through RFC.
There is an  SAP NOTE 998453 that we checked but it is still a pilot version.
Has anyone implemented the catalog views without the notes? Can we do the catalog views without the note? If so, how can we meke custom FM work? Please advice.
    Thanks,
    VK

    Check the following.
    1. The XCM file modification-config.xml replaces both the function modules
    2. The checkbox to use the catalog views is checked for your webshop
    3. Catalog is published to TREX and you are using TREX catalog instead of Memory catalog.
I don't think these notes work without TREX. I'd be interested in learning if anyone successfully implemented Catalog views with ECC ECO without using TREX.

  • Role Mapping For Portal Role Assignment and ABAP Role Assignment

    Summary:
    - Under the GRC configuration of Roles> Role Mapping we are trying to utilize the  role mapping feature in GRC for associating a dependent role to a main role.
    - We want to use this role mapping feature for the purposes of adding an Enterprise Portal role for every ABAP role that gets approved for the user in an ABAP component system (i.e. ECC, BW, CRM etc). We will have a 1:1 mapping of Enterprise Portal role to ABAP role defined in the role mapping section in GRC.
    - We want to set up the workflow in such a way that the main role (ABAP role) is the only role that needs to be approved. The dependent role (Enterprise Portal role) should be added or not added based on the approval or denial of the main role (ABAP role). In other words if the role owner for the abap role approves the abap role, then both the abap and EP role will be provisioned by GRC and if the role owner rejects/denies the role, then neither the abap or EP role will be provisioned by GRC.
    Problem Description:
    Our Scenarios we tested:
    Scenario 1:
Main Role:  Attached to Initiator A & workflow A (routes to single approver based on role)
Dependent Role:  Attached to Initiator B & workflow B (routes to auto approval or no approval)
*Problem with the Scenario 1setup above, the dependent role will always get approved & provisioned regardless of the approval or denial of the main role.
    Scenario 2:
Main Role:  Attached to Initiator A & workflow A (routes to single approver based on role)
Dependent Role:  Attached to Initiator A & workflow A(routes to single approver (same as main approver) based on role)
*Problem with the Scenario 2 setup above, the dependent role will always also need to get approved by the same approver as main role and it opens the possibility that the approver may accidently approve the main role and deny the dependent role, which is not the ideal setup as we inherit the risk of human error.
    Questions:
    1. Does the dependent role need to be defined in an initiator at all since it will never directly be requested directly?
    2.  If the dependent role does need to be in the initiator file, please describe how to properly setup the initiator and workflow stage & path so that we can maintain the desired relationship with the main role approval dependency? (if the role owner for the main role approves the main role, then both the main role and dependent role will be provisioned by GRC and if the role owner rejects/denies the main role, then neither the main role or depedent role will be provisioned by GRC
Edited by: Rene Griffith on Feb 26, 2010 10:22 PM

    I tested this set up.
    1.  Defined ABAP role as Manin role
    2.  Defined Non-ABAP role as dependednt role
    3. ABAP role  is set up in initiator requiring business approval.
    4.  Non-ABAP role is set up in initiator with no approval required.
Results Where Business Approver approves the ABAP Role
    1. Only the ABAP role is displayed in approver view which is desirable.
    2.  ABAP role is approved and Non-ABAP role and ABAP role is provisioned.
Results Where Business Approver rejects the ABAP Role
    1. Only the ABAP role is displayed in approver view which is desirable.
    2.  ABAP role is rejected but  Non-ABAP role is provisioned which is not what we want.  We want the Non-ABAP role not to provision if the ABAP role is rejected by the business approval.
    Thanks again for your help.

  • E-Commerce for mySAP ERP: Problem with java source code

    Hello everybody,
we try to implement web shops on the basis of ECO for ERP 5.0. The shop is running fine and we want to start with some extensions in java classes and web UI with NWDI  2004s.
We created a new track and our own application as described in "Development And Extension Guide". We need to extend some of the original java classes for the b2b scenario and of course the user interface.
We got the information from SAP, that the original java classes are not intended
to be modified by customers and therefore it is not intended to create a project with NWDI that contains that source code. But we should be able to create own DCs and copy the source code into it and then modify them on own risk.
We tried to do that, but always got errors.
Due to customer requirements we have to make some modifications otherwise we can not use this solution.
If there is anybody who has already some experience with this topic we
would be very glad to get some hints.
    Kind Regards
    Helmut

    Hello Raju,
I am sorry, but I am no technical consultant, but I am have to change
the already installed application for our customers.
Nethertheless I try to give you some information I have. I had a look at SAP note 883948 you mentioned. The software components which are listed under XECO are the software components which contain the E-Commerce Application. You also find them in the "Development and Extension Guide".
There are some guides under  http://service.sap.com/instguides -> mySAP Business Suite Solutions -> mySAP ERP -> mySAP ERP 2005 -> Installation. In the document "SAP E-Commerce for mySAP ERP: Business Scenario Configuration Guide" there is a table of the needed components on a high level.
From the view of the application you need the E-Commerce application itself, the TREX for searching in the product catalog, the IPC if you want to have price calculation in the shop or configuration of products with optional components.
    Hope this helps a bit
    Kind Regards
    Helmut

  • Upgrading ISA 4.0 to "SAP E-Commerce for mySAP ERP"

We currently have a Internet Sales (R/3 edition) environment connected to a R/3 4.6C backend. We are upgrading the backend to mySAP ERP 2005. This has necessitated an upgrade of the Internet Sales environmet, too.
Has anyone does this or had any experience with the ISA side of this upgrade?
Currently the ISA 4.0 environment is running on a NW2004 SR1 framework with a SAP Web AS JAVA 6.40 (J2EE 6.40, too).
I know after this upgrade is completed, my environment will change to the following...(I think)
Internet Sales (R/3 Edition) will become "SAP E-Commerce for mySAP ERP"
    NW2004 will become NW2004s SR1
    J2EE 6.40 will become J2EE 7.00
I guess I'm looking for anyone who has been through this type of upgrade and how best to tackle it (aside from looking at the upgrade guides).
What to watch for? What to double-check? Anything noteworthy would be of value to me.
Should I even bother running through the upgrade process or should I just flatten the environment and start over with installation media?? Is that path easier and less of a pain?
I'm open for any feedback or thoughts.....
