Error 500 when trying to invoke discoverer viewer & plus

Hi all,
we recently installed the patch for web services in discoverer.
But since then we've been getting a strange exception. Have you seen this before, or know what it is? The exception is resolved after a restart of the server. I'm getting it when I try to view http://host:port/discoverer/viewer for example.

Error 5002 when trying to look at iTunes Plus

I just bought a new MBP, and since I used my education discount, I got a $100 gift card to use in the App Store/iTunes/etc. I have a bunch of songs I bought back when iTunes had DRM, so I was going to use this money to upgrade some of those purchases to iTunes Plus. However, whenever I click on "iTunes Plus" under Quick Links, I get a popup telling me that I can't access iTunes Plus because "Unknown Error 5002 Ocurred"
I've looked up the problem, and I've tried things like changing/resetting my billinb info, re-installing iTunes, and resetting my internet connection, but I have not had any luck so far. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks very much. Yes, a bit of online research helped me to track down
the problem. It was some redirects in the .htaccess file in the root
directory (this site is located in a subdirectory). All fixed now!

Internal Error 500 when trying to open Interactive Form

I ve installed the NetWeaver Java Trial / SUSE Linux 10 Server (VMWare Edition).
It includes a demo scenario, where a new employe needs to confirm the confidentiality aggreement in an interactive form.
When I click on this I get an internal server error 500.
The trial certificate for interactive forms and the svg viewer are installed.
Can anyone bring some light into this?

I have installed and configured everything successfully and have created, deployed, and uploaded the HFM sample applications just fine, but I am having trouble when trying to deploy the Planning application with the following detail.

Error trying to open Discoverer Viewer/Plus

HI,
The following error occurred: "OracleBI Discoverer has not been started or has been stopped. Discoverer was stopped by your Administrator."
Has anyone had the same problem? We are currently on version 10.1.2.54.25 of Discoverer and 10.1.2.2 of AS (Win2000 server). I did find a document (Bug.4457706) on MetaLink for an earlier version and I verified that start = true in the configuration.xml file. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I also noticed that a java.exe process was consuming 100% of the CPU on the server during the same time. Tho, it may be totally unrelated to the Discoverer problem. I have examined most of the log files and can not find anything of relevance yet.
I checked opmnctl status at the time of the problem and everything was up.

Developing for iphone can be amazingly complicated and frustrating. (even before you start coding). The process of having to create a Certificate, to approving the Certificate, to Assigning the deviceIDs to the certificate, to creating the AppIDs, to creating the provisioning profiles and then creating the .p12 file... is just too tedious.
I solved the problem of the "Entitlements are not valid".   The AppID i had set in the iPhone Developer Portal did not match that of the AppID i had set in the Adobe Flash CS5 -> Publish Settings. (ie. com.yourdomainname.yourappname). After I re-entered my AppID and compile, i was able to sync the .ipa file into my ipad.
I wish the error message had been a little more descriptive. Could have saved me a whole day.
I hope this helps others. But my guess is, if you don't set the 40 character device ID correctly, or the email in the signingcertificate correctly, you'll get this same generic error message.

I have revised the java path, the jato.jar existence in the WEB-INF/lib and i�m out of ideas. Any clue?. Other applications like the Access Manager works seamlessly.

during the Java Enterprise System installation on Fedora 9 and resolved it.
when you install an Appliation Server as part of JavaES,
it looks for some resources (jato.jar,cc.jar,dtd,gif...)
to the path configured by webconsole. for example it is
looking for jato.jar to /opt/sun/share/lib/jato

My Steps to fail:
for uninstall purpose I had made
rpm -qa | grep sun (but not for SUN)
and removed the searched RPMs.
I had not made search for "rpm -qa | grep SUN" that take a look to RPMs related with webconsole.
Later I removed /opt/sun/, /var/opt/sun, /etc/opt/sun directories.
At the next JavaES installation the webconsole has not been installed
as there were a conflicts with the already installed RPMs and I have
missed this point. So the needed /opt/sun/webconsole path is absent now.
Despite of the mentioned above I have manually corrected the link
to the corrupted paths and copied the needed jars from other products
("identity management") which comes with JavaES, and was able to login to
https:localhost:4849 with admin admiadmin successfully
At the end of all
I have made a search for rpm -qa|grep sun and rpm -qa|grep SUN
and removed the related RPMs and the mentioned above folders
and reinstall a fresh JavaES. It works fine now.

OK..figured this out...it could not find context because of an error in web.xml (path was wrong to the jsp)....

Error message when trying to view/print Crystal reports in B1

I get the following Error message when trying to view/print crystal reports in SAP B1/Crystal Reports Integration Tool for SAP Business One:
" Could not load file or assembly 'Crystal Decisions Windows Forms, version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, Public Key Token=692fbea551e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. ????

Common issues for this :
1. Once you install crystall add on ,you need to go to Crystal report Administration >Account setup .
Put on the user name and password and click on creating ext tables
Try then running the report .
If not the case ,
make sure you install runtime .
You need :
1.Crystal report basic from SAP download -(Not necessary if you want only report viewer >
2.You need to have crystal integration addon (I think service pack is SP1)
3.Make sure you have runtime install
When you are installing ,make sure you restart your PC before you do or remove temporary file s

Can see list of old emails, but error message when trying to view message.

Ok, after a Mail crash (10.4.1), there were no accounts listed and of course no old emails, sent or in the inbox, were visible.
We reentered all the account info, as if we were starting anew, and now we are able to see the list of all old emails in the inbox and sent mailbox, but when we click on any message before the crash, we get this error message:
The message from David Crandon, ([email protected]), concerning (the subject of the email), has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take the account online in order to download it.
Now, obviously, the accounts are online because we can send and receive new emails with no problem, and of course, the old emails aren't going to be on the server anymore.
Can anyone help?

Well, didn't work. I spent an hour and a half just trying to get my 76yr old uncle to back able to drag and drop into the correct folder, and then trying to find the file when he didn't....!
Anyway, it didn't work. After removing the Envelope Index file, and reimporting the messages, everything was the same. He could still see all his old emails in the list in Mail, but got the same error message when trying to view them.
Then, we rebuilt the inbox, and now none of his old messages are visible! However, they are still on the computer.
All his old emails are ".emlx" files and if we click directly on one of them, then Mail will launch and display the message properly in it's own window. But again, we get the above error message if we try to view it by selecting it from the message list in mail.
One interesting thing...in the Library->Mail folder their are two folders, "Mailboxes" and "Mailboxes.mbox". Both at the same level. It's the Mailboxes.mbox folder that has all his old emails. Although all the old ones have the suffix ".elmx". In the Mailboxes folder are all the new emails since we reset all the prefs in Mail after the crash a couple of days ago.
Anymore help please to get mail to recognize all these old emails?

Recieved error '-2147467259 when trying to view all/any of my slide shows

How do I fix this error/problem. Unable to view or finish slide shows I have been working on.

"an error occurred when trying to change modules"

When I switch repeatedly between Library and Develop with the R and E keys, I always sooner or later run into a problem where nothing happens when I press R. Really that should go the Develop module and enter crop mode -- what I'm usually trying to do, when this happens, is crop a bunch of photos. So I'll be using Library mode to identify the photos that need cropping, stepping through photos with the arrow keys, then when I find one that I want to crop, I press R, enter develop+crop mode, crop the photo, press E to return to library+loupe view, and continue.
Sometimes this works 10 times, sometimes it only works twice, but always, relatively soon, when I press R, "nothing" will happen. Actually what's happening is an error dialog appears saying "an error occurred when trying to change modules", then the error dialog immediately disappears before I can read it. I know what it says, because if I click the Develop module with the mouse, I get the same message but it sticks around until I press OK.
Once this happens, I'm entirely unable to use the Develop module until I quit the program. I had to quit and restart LR about 20 times during an hour of working with it last night, and this morning, in the first 15 minutes, I'm already on the 3rd restart.
Anyone else see this?
Details: LR 1.1 on Mac OS 10.4.10, 4-core Mac Pro, images are a mix of JPG from a pocket camera and NEF from a Nikon D40. I don't think it is related to the specific images, as it strikes apparently at random, and after exit and restart, I can crop that same photo, but a different one will eventually cause the same problem again.

Sean, thanks for the Return key tip. I knew about that at one point, but lately I was trying to use Enter (the one on the numeric keypad, at the very lower right corner of the keyboard, which is really easy to hit with my thumb even when my hand is on the mouse! And Enter doesn't invoke the crop, so I forgot that Return did). That is a better way.
I don't see the RE problem on my MacBook, only on my desktop computer, and that one is also experiencing other flakiness (
metamatt, "missing text / thumbnails / many Lightroom UI elements disappeared" #, 18 Aug 2007 3:08 pm) so I think I'm going to try a complete reinstall there.
