What I did was that I restarted that Ipad of mine and voila!
Problem solved!

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

You can't. FaceTime has been permanently removed from your phone, there is no way to add it back. Next time, buy your phone in India.

The iPhone is DESIGNED to switch to cellular data when asleep, unless it's connected to a power source, in which case it will stay logged onto the WiFi network. iPhones have ALWAYS behaved this way.
Either turn cellular data off at night, or leave your phone connected to a power source to continue the WiFI.

I keep having the same frustrating problem. I want to insert a new footer
to go with a new chapter, but when I put the footer in, it applies to
the previous chapter as well. So I thought a section break would keep
it from applying to the previous chapter, and this seemed to work for
a while, but now it doesn't work and it also keeps giving me an additional
page that I do not want. I tried insert layout but that doesn't work.

It seems that my ipad will no longer connect to aol or yahoo mail. this has happened within the past month. my mother's ipad and my cousin in a different state is having the same problem. i upgraded to ios6 and my mother has not so that is not the issue.

my ipad will not connect to yahoo or aol mail, anymore. my mother is having the same problem and also a cousin, in a different state. my cousin and i upgraded to ios 6 and my mother did not. i do not understand why this is happening.

I should add that i have also done:
- reset (holding two buttons)
- updated software to latest IOS
- done a full restore to original settings
None of this has solved the problem.

For about 2 weeks I have been unable to leave feedback on ebay. Firefox brings up login page but will not accept password. I am having the same problem with my yahoo email. It will not accept my passwords, so I have to use IE to login to these accounts.

On yahoo email, it accepted my login id, but not password. This started on one account about two weeks ago. Today when I tried to login to another yahoo email, which worked yesterday, but it would not accept my password on this account.
I bought some items on ebay and wanted to leave feedback. When I clicked on the leave feedback button a sign in window appeared, this should not have happened, when I tried to sign in, it would not accept my password. I called ebay and was told they have had many complaints from customers using firefox when trying to leave feedback. The help desk suggested I try with Internet Explorer, I did, and it worked perfectly.
I have been using firefox for a long time and really do not want to go back to IE, but when I cannot sign into my accounts, I can't, so I will have to use IE.
As far as I know, no new programs have been installed on this computer.

After what I thought was a small victory, I still wanted to see how I could fix the song skipping issue. So I set to apply Mitch's suggestion - to erase the iPod's HD using Disk Utility, then restore the iPod settings via the latest updater. It just made sense to do so, right?
Well, I opened Disk Utility, set to erase the iPod's HD zeroing all data, walked away for half an hour or so... just to see Disk Utility hung up doing nothing.
Situation now is:
-OS X (sometimes) recognizes the iPod... as a hard disk.
-deinstalled itunes app and .pkg, downloaded and reinstalled again.
-On last reboot, it mounted as an iPod, then iTunes asked me to "update iPod software"? "Heck yeah, but do something - anything" I muttered. And do something it did - show me the dreadful folder icon on the iPod.
- So here I am now running the (latest) iPod updater for the umpeenth time trying to restore the iPod software, but at the time of this writing it just seems stuck on the "restoring iPod" phase... oh wait, it just gave up quitting or something. Out of desperation probably...
So, after the best part of a couple of flawless years, I suddenly don't have an iPod anymore - now I just have an expensive paperweight. Thank you Apple... (sorry, but a $300 gadget isn't among the items I consider "disposable"... my apologies, had to vent a little)

I bought an iPhone charger 3 months back its covering has torn out again. I had the same problem with my previous chargers and now this has started getting on my nerves. Why do your chargers suck so much, and why on earth don't do you guys anything?

I mean seriously, stop working on your earplugs and look at the cheap quality of your chargers. I'm really really disappointed with apple. I have always loved apple and been an i-gadget freak but your chargers just bring my spirit down. GO WORK ON YOUR CHARGERS AND MAKE THEM STRONGER. Because even you know that apple's going down now and if you still have these shrude means of giving away cheap chargers so you can make more money (by making people replace them every once in a while) then you're gonna fall down to the ground because there are better phones and you have competition.

As you don't say what suggestion it is that you've tried, I don't know whether you mean for having notifications muted, so you may already have tried the following.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Having the same problem with my music videos streaming from the icloud. Used to work fine. Music streams OK

My apple TV no longer will stream the music videos, especially when in shuffle mode. Music is fine. Music Videos from the computer library work just fine.

Having the same problem with Aol not sending my mail and getting error message. If I delete this account, what will happen? This is on my iPad, and I also have a gmail and Yahoo account.

This happened after I was hacked.

If you delete that account from your iPad, all messages from it will be removed. You can then go back into Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendars and 'Add Account' to add it back onto your iPad.

I have a 16g Ipod touch, I was having problems syncing so I restored my Ipod, and i am still having the same problem. I am also getting an error messge (Ipod can not sync error message13001). Can you please tell me what I can do?
