I wasn't looking at what I was doing and I deleted an imessage conversation and I havent figured out how to get it back yet. I have my ipod backed up with itunes but not icloud. It is onlt that one conversation though and I really want to get it back. Is there any way possible to get my conversation back on my ipod?
If it was there and you creaded an iPod backup via iTunes then restore from that backup. Otherwise y are out of luck.
Autosyncing
To help prevent the last backup from being overwritten and thus erasing the Messages from the last backup turn off autosyncing so that you have to overtly start a sync. To turn off go iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says "Prevent iPods...". -
how to transfer info to a mac book pro from a pc i need to get my iTunes and other iTunes related items off of my old computer so i can sync my phone and get my music.
I have already tranferd some info to an external hard drive i just need to get my itune items. also i have heard if you plug your phone to a differnt computer you lose of you information.

I've recently messed up my Mac OS X Lion by deleting Aperture, but I need to get my data out of the computer. I've tried to repair it using DU, but it said I needed to backup all my data and reinstall the OS. How do I backup my data to an external drive?
And by the way, I've got an important project in Final Cut Pro X. Is there any way I can back it up (including fxs and positions of the clip) ?
Hope you guys can help me!You need to back up 2 folders, Final Cut Events and Final Cut Projects which by default are located on your Movies Folder. You can always check by clicking on a clip inside Fianl Cut X and selecting Show in Finder in the contextual menu for the selected clip.

Sorry, but without a backup in iCloud or iTunes on your computer, your data is gone and can't be restored anymore.

Ipod will not sync to itunes, just stops half way and freezes the computer
my ipod has suddenly stopped syncing to itunes half way through and freezes the computer. it is not the songs because they sync to my phone. how can i fix this?
Have you tried plugging the Nano into another available USB port or using another USB sync cable? Does it seem to be freeze when syncing the same track?
I assume iTunes is up to date (10.7 at the time of this writing).

This is the definition for "continuo" from Apple's dictionary:
continuo |kənˈtinyəˌwō | (also basso continuo) noun (pl. continuos) (in baroque music) an accompanying part that includes a bass line and harmonies, typically played on a keyboard instrument and with other instruments such as cello or bass viol.
Presumably you mean something else. Your chances of getting replies that can help you will improve with a clearly stated question.

When my Gen 6 nano fades to black the unit shuts off completely and the music stops. Is there any way to fix this?
Make sure the headphones are plugged ALL the way in, meaning the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Nano and no silver from the headphone's plug can still be seen.

I have an iphone 4 with sprint which can't take a sim card. To avoid roaming charges while traveling internationally, do i put my phone on airplane mode.
I read you need to turn off cellular and voice data roaming as well but when I turn on airplane mode, it seems like roaming is automatically turned off.
Is this true?Turning on Airplane Mode will prevent the phone from getting roaming charges as it cant connect to a cell tower.
P.S you can have WiFi on and still be in Airplan Mode. Just turn Airplane Mode on first, then turn the WiFi on -

URGENTLY need to get back photos and videos my daughter deleted...
On the weekend my two year old has somehow deleted or reset my husband’s mobile which has wiped everything from the phone. My biggest concern is the 2,500+ photos and videos of our families memories. Unfortunately he had not linked it to itunes or download the files or linked to iclouds. Is there anyway PLEASE of getting these photos and videos back??!! Do you know of a program we can use? Im desperate to get these back as these are the only pics of my daughter from the last 2yrs.

There are several lessons here.
Back up. Often. Apple has made backing up the iPhone brain dead simple. It will either back up to your computer every time you plug it in to sync with iTunes, or it can back up to iCloud on a daily basis with no user interaction at all so long as it's connected to WiFi and a power source.
Electronic devices fail. It's not a matter of if it will happen, it's only a matter of when.
Now go out and buy an external drive to backup your computer before some silly mishap ends up wiping your tax returns and other irreplacable documents.
Another lesson to take from this is that if you're going to let a 2 year old play with a $600 piece of electronic equipment, you might want to supervise things a little bit more closely... iOS has features built in to make sure that a chile (or an adult for that matter) can't get out of whatever app you want them to use and bork up the entire phone. Read the manual and look at the section on using "guided access".
Be thankful that you didn't learn another important lesson from this, which is "iPhones are made of glass, which is fragile". Giving something made of glass (or largely of glass) to a 2 year old to play with is downright stupid. What if she'd broken the glass and cut herself? It wouldn't be just memories you could potentially be missing then. -
Need to get address/contact info from old computer
Can anyone help me here? I have a backup of my old palm directory on my new computer, and it has an address.bak, address.dat, and UiPrefs.dat.
I can open either the address.bak and address.dat file in notepad, and see the raw text (with lots of extraneous characters). But I need to get this into a csv format, or something else that I can import into excel.
I tried downloading the palm desktop (v. 4.1.4) onto this machine, and importing the address into there, but the only options for import are ABA (address archive), csv, txt, or vcard.
How can I convert my dat or bak file into another format?
