IW32 : Display deletions

Hi experts,
In transaction IW32, we can display deleted components item using Edit > Display deletions > On.
I'd like this option to be always 'on'.
I did not find any customizing to set it automatically to 'on' value.
Do you know how to do it : customizing, parameter ID, user-exit ?

Display deleted items

Wenn I transfer a mail to "Deleted Items" , a Number is shown on the right site of that Line. What does this mean and how can I change this ?

You have to display the item to restore it. "Display deleted items" only applies to edit mode - deleted items are never displayed in view mode.

IPhone displaying deleted contacts when writing SMS

When writing a new SMS, I try to enter the name of the contact. My iPhone then displays deleted contacts. How do I fix this?

The only way is to erase all content and settings and then restore the iPhone as a new device. Just make sure to back up the content you intend to save. Do not restore form the backup because that will restore the text history as well.

Display Deleted Objects in CJ20N

Even though display deleted objects is marked in Project Builder:User Specifc options for one project i am unbale to see the deleted materilas.

Deletion of objects in the project builder is controlled by the system status, i.e;
If the system status of any of the project object is still under CRTD (Created) Status, deletions at this stage result in physical deletion from the project bulder (CJ20N) without tracking.
if the system status of the project object is REL (Release) Status, deletion at this stage results in just the project object being flagged for deletion within the project builder(CJ20N) and can be tracked using change documents.
Also note that not all the fields within the project builder are sensitive to changes done, i.e. change documents are not recorded for all field changes.

Spotlight displaying deleted emails

Spotlight search displays deleted emails. All of them. Followed various suggestions incuding syncing with itunes, powering down and up again, but the messages keep appearing in spotlight results (titles only: if i tap on a deleted email, spotlight takes me to the correct mailbox, but the email is still deleted and no longer visible. How do I delete whatever data spotlight is picking up?

You can't. I opened an Expresslane AppleCare case with Apple about this a few days ago, and they confirmed that this is how it works (maybe just sometimes, who knows). It's the same on my iPad and (I think) on my wife's iPhone.
You need to restore the phone to get rid of it.
I explained how this is really broken... it gives search results that don't actually exist, and it's also a potential privacy invasion (anyone using Spotlight Search on your phone can see who you have emailed, the subject line, and some of the text). And, of course, it makes a real search difficult because actual results are buried in hundreds of fake results.
The support tech really had to twist his words to keep from admitting that this is a bug, but I did get him to agree that it is a broken system. However, there was nothing he could do about it.
It's a bug. Plain and simple, a bug. And it's been in existence for years and years, according to what I've read.

ICloud displaying deleted iCal events

I set up my iCloud/iCal sync when I updated to iOS5, but my iCloud calendar (and thus my iPhone calendar) is now displaying events I have deleted from iCal on my MacBook Pro. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

I'm getting the same thing. Events that have been deleted from iCal on my G5 are still sent to my iPhone. I've reset the iPhone software, restarted, logged out and in, deleted the iSync history etc - no luck.
Also, events created on my iPhone don't transfer to iCal on my G5.
Obviously this renders the iPhone/iCal combination unreliable as a diary/calendar. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I'm using absolutely standard gear and software. Nothing fancy, no trying to sync to third party equipment or applications. I'm using Leopard 10.5.2, with Apples very own iCal 3.0.2 (1236) and an Apple iPhone with software version 1.1.4 (4A102). So all software up-to-date.
Does anyone have this standard up-to-date setup working?

Finder displaying deleted files

I'm having a problem with Finder that I haven't seen before. In the past few days, Finder lists deleted files along the left hand side of it's display, under "Desktop". When I select one of these files the message is "The alias "xxxx" could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found."
Is there someway to force Finder to refresh it's view so that it don't display those deleted files? Thanks for any assistance.
iMac G4 17" 1Ghz Mac OS X (10.3.9)

After about half a day of the slow rate of removal of items by "Secure Empty Trash" (as reported in my O.P., above) a few minutes ago I noticed that the temporarily went back to about one item per second.
About 20 items were removed at the higher removal rate.
Then, the removal rate went back to about i item per minute.
Does that help towards solving the issue?

Web Part displays deleted pages...

Recently I got a very server functionality disorder from SharePoint 2010. I used a
CQW to display data from pages library of parent site as well as child sites, It all goes well.
BUT from the past two days the same CQW displays the pages- from the pages library of parent as well as child sites- that were
DELETED.
Any help from anyone will highly be appreciated.

It seems cache items are still visible. Just for sometime until they get deleted and use "UseCache" = false.

Igrid displaying deleted row on browser refresh

Hi Guys,
I am deleting a row from iGrid using delete row(). but when I click applet refresh, the deleted row is again displayed. Please let me know how to make the set of records not to display. Do I need to use session in this case.

ok, i have got your point.
if you just want to delete the row in the UI level, so the method: grid.getGridObject().deleteRow(row) will help you. you said that when you refresh the applet you once again get the deleted row appears in your grid. i think that is absolutely yes. because when you refresh the applet , it will reload the data from the db, or from the query you have used.
may you can try like this:
function Hide()
            var row = grid.getGridObject().getSelectedRow();
            grid.getGridObject().deleteRow(row);
function Show()
          grid.updateGrid(true);

IW32: Assignments deleted from service order after editing operation number

Dear SAP gurus,
I have a problem with a service order containing muiltiple operations.
When I change the order in IW32 and I edit the operation number of only one operation, the assignments of ALL the operations and suboperations are deleted.
Can anyone tell me if it's normal behaviour to delete assignments from operations when they are edited? Or is there a way to avoid this (apart from not editing the operation positions)?

The assignments are deleted whenever one of the operations is edited. This can be:
- changing the operation position to reorder the operations;
- deleting one of the operations;
- making changes in the component list of one of the operations.
The result is always the same: all the assignments of all the operations are deleted.
The problem seems to be a lot bigger than it appeared at first. We asked SAP for support and they are trying to solve the problem right now. It seemes that the MRS add-on causes the assignments to disappear.
Update:
SAP created a note to resolve this problem. It's note number 1255589.

Facebook app displays deleted messages

I have deleted all messages in Facebook from my PC, even the archived ones. The Facebook app on my Touchpad continues to display old messages that shouldn't be there. I've even deleted my FB account on the Touchpad and then re-added it, and I've cleared every cache I can find.
Is this a Facebook bug or a bug in the app on the Touchpad? Anyone know a way to get the two in sync?

This bug is bothersome to me also. Every conversation is still showing with no way to remove them from the TouchPad!

Aperture as screensaver - displaying deleted pictures

Hi,
I have Aperture Library selected as my screen saver. Unless I am cracking up, I am sure that the screen saver is displaying pictures that I have deleted.
Where are they coming from?

I have a similar-ish issue. I have two Aperture libraries in my Pictures folder. I have set up a smart album in one of my Aperture libraries, and then I've set my screensaver to run off that smart album.
Unfortunately, what the screensaver seems to do is to apply the rules in the smart album to all the images in my Pictures folder, regardless of which Aperture library that they are in. At least, I see that it displays pictures mixed up from both libraries.
Anybody know how to fix this?

UITableView not displaying delete/move icons??

I can swipe left to right and get the red delete button on the right but not the circle and most importantly not the move icon on the right of the cell.

Oops - I overlooked that. I just remembered the other half of what is needed. Since your view controller is a UIViewController and not a UITableViewController you need more plumbing to make the Edit/Done button work. The Edit/Done button is going to call your view controller's setEditing method, not the table's.
You need to override the 'setEditing:(BOOL)editing' method in your view controller like this:

[self setEditing:editing];
[settingsTableView setEditing:editing];
I also prefer to make configuration changes like adding the Edit button in the view controller's 'viewDidLoad' method instead of the 'init' method. It's safer because you know the nib is fully loaded and all your outlet's are setup.
Of course the other option is to extend UITableViewController and let it do 90% of the work for you.

Displaying deleted production Orders

Hi ,
I am unable to see the production Orders which i have set Deletion flag or deletion indicator.
I have tried entering plant , Order type , material and the status filled with ' DLT' and 'DLFL' and also selected the option ' select deletion flag/Indicator'. But no success . Please advice
