Multiple row tabs in panelTabbedPane
Hi,
Can anyone help me how can I get multiple row tabs in <t:panelTabbedPane>. I have 10 tabs and I need to put first five tabs in first row and next 5 tabs in second row.

I'm using Apex version 4.1.
Is it possible to have multiple rows of standard tabs that show all at once? Basically I want, say, 5 tabs per row with no parent tabs. The reason I want to do this is because our end users' monitors sometimes aren't wide enough to show all the tabs on the right side of the page. So I just want multiple rows on the left side of the page so that all tabs are easily visible at all times.

How about you go to shared components and create a list. and chose the template of "Centered Tab Set" or " Tabbed Navigation List" or "Page level Tabs List"
Maybe you need to put that list on your Zero page... to show up on all pages of your app...

Are multiple rows of tabs a planned feature for Safari?
I've been a Mac users for almost 5 months now. A feature I've really missed from my previous browser( Firefox) was multiple rows to make it easier to navigate my tabs. With every Safari release, the 1st thing that I check for is support for multiple rows of tabs.
Otherwise, I really love this browser, but the lack this feature really bugs me. I wonder if there is some technical limitation that is rooted the way that Safari is designed that makes this feature extremely difficult to implement.
Does any know if Apple has plans to add this feature in Safari 8.x or 9.x?thanks, I was afraid of that. I dropped Apple a line
Please add the option to configure Safari to create tabs as multiple rows of tabs in the case that the width of open tabs exceed the width of the Safari application window. This is feature is common in modern browsers, and it has become the de facto standard by which users evaluate Web browsers.

Want to be able to open tabs in multiple rows, rather than in a single row. I used tab mix plus before, but it says it is not compatible with New tab Homepage. The older version of Firefox allowed this very easily.

How to retreive multiple rows on a tabbed page
Dear Gurus,
I am new to Forms Programming. I have 4 tab pages on the canvas. On one of the tab page I am trying to retrieve multiple rows from the database. I want that the data should be automatically displayed as user changes to that tab page.
The problem which I think is that the cursor is not moving from the first tab page to the new tab page. When I am trying to use go_item, it is not allowing me to change the tab page as all the items on this tab page is display item. Even go_block is not working. I am writing both the functions on When_Tab_Page_Changed trigger.

Why no tab add-ins that enable multiple rows for Firefox 4???
I geneally have lots of tabs open at any given time. I traditionally use TabKit, TabMix, and others that let me use multiple rows of tabs (among other options). I have not been able to find ANY add-ons that support multiple rows. There is sadness across the land.
The mentioned "Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus" add-on specifically addresses bookmarks, while the question is regarding the tabs.

Is it possible for extra tabs to appear in multiple rows rather than having to click the arrow?
It would be great to have tabs in rows, similar to how you can set up the Windows taskbar.
There are add-ons that can do this, but they also offer many other tab related features rather than just allowing multi-row tab bar, so this may be a bit of overkill.

There is a scenario that users want to send multiple rows returned by Execute SQL Task as Email content to send to someone. With Execute SQL Task, the Full result set is used when the query returns multiple rows, it must map to a variable of the Object data
type, then the return result is a rowset object, so we cannot directly send the result variable as Email content. Is there a way that we can extract the table row values that are stored in the Object variable as Email content to send to someone?
Answer:
To achieve this requirement, we can use a Foreach Loop container to extract the table row values that are stored in the Object variable into package variables, then use a Script Task to write the data stored in packages variables to a variable, and then set
the variable as MessageSource in the Send Mail Task.
Add four variables in the package as below:
Double-click the Execute SQL Task to open the Execute SQL Task Editor, then change the ResultSet property to “Full result set”. Assuming that the SQL Statement like below:

In the Result Set pane, add a result like below (please note that we must use 0 as the result set name when the result set type is Full result set):

I have a way to do this, but it would take some hand coding on your part. If you feel comfortable hand writing php code and doing manual database calls, specificaly database INSERT calls you should be fine.
Create a custom form using the ADDT Custom Form Wizard that has all the rows and fields you need. This may take a bit if you are adding the ability for up to 20 rows, as per your diagram of the form area. The nice thing about using ADDT to create the form is that you can setup the form validation at the same time. Leave the last step in the Custom Form Wizard blank. You can add a custom database call here, but I would leave it blank.
Next, under ADDT's Forms Server Behaviors, select Custom Trigger. At the Basic tab, you enter your custom php code that will be executed. Here you are going to want to put your code that will check if a value has been entered in the form and then do a database INSERT operation on the Stock_table with that row. The advanced tab lets you set the order of operations and the name of the Custom Trigger. By default, it is set to AFTER. This means that the Custom Trigger will get executed AFTER the form data is processed by the Custom Form Transaction.
I usually just enter TEST into the "Basic" tab of the Custom Trigger. Then set my order of operations in the "Advanced" tab and close the Custom Trigger. Then I go to the code view for that page in Dreamweaver and find the Custom Trigger function and edit the code manually. It's much easier this way because the Custom Trigger wizard does not show you formatting on the code, and you don't have to keep opening the Wizard to edit and test your code.
Your going to have to have the Custom Trigger fuction do a test on the submitted form data. If data is present, then INSERT into database. Here's a basic example of what you need to do:
In your code view, the Custom Trigger will look something like this:

This code checks to see if the form input field named Item_1 is set. If so, then get the rest of the values for the first item and insert them into the database. You would need to do this for each row in your form. So the if you let the customer add 20 rows, you would need to check 20 times to see if the data is there or write the code so that it stops once it encounters an empty Item field. To exit a Custom Trigger, you can return NULL; and it will jump out of the function. You can also throw custom error message out of triggers, but this post is already way to long to get into that.
$tNG->getColumnValue("Item_1") is used to retrieve the value that was set by the form input field named Item_1. This field is named by the Custom Form Wizard when you create your form. You can see what all the input filed names are by looking in the code view for something like:

There will be one for each field you created with the Custom Form Wizard.
Unfortunately, I don't have an easy way to do what you need. Maybe there is a way, but since none of the experts have responded, I thought I would point you in a direction. You should read all you can about Custom Triggers in the ADDT documentation/help pdf to give you more detailed information about how Custom Triggers work.

This feature is great but I would like to be able to create multiple new tabs pages and label them. This would be more useful than tabs groups that all load at once.
No that is (currently) not possible.
It will be possible in future Firefox version to specify the number of rows and columns.

please helpGo to the Row Properties, and in the Visibility tab, you have "Show or hide based on an expression". You can use this to write an expression that resolves to true if the row should be hidden, false otherwise.
Additionally, in the Matrix properties you should take a look at the filters section, perhaps you can achieve what you wish to achieve through there by removing the unnecessary rows instead of just hiding them.
It's only so much I can help you with the limited information. If you require further help, please provide us with more information such as what data are you displaying, what's the criteria to hiding rows, etc...

with prior thanksGo to the Row Properties, and in the Visibility tab, you have "Show or hide based on an expression". You can use this to write an expression that resolves to true if the row should be hidden, false otherwise.
Additionally, in the Matrix properties you should take a look at the filters section, perhaps you can achieve what you wish to achieve through there by removing the unnecessary rows instead of just hiding them.
