Problem with Enable scalable feature of XSLT processor

I'm using BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1. I've having a report, when running in a specific sequence (i.e. after running with XML dataset 1 then dataset 2), will yield an error. Here is the log I got in the xdo.log.

Then I tried turning off "Enable scalable feature of XSLT processor" (under the FO Processing, default is ON) This error cannot be reproduced again (i.e. my report can run in whatever sequence without an error).
Would anyone explain to me what actually is the difference between setting the "Enable scalable feature of XSLT processor" to true and false. I'll be running the same report template with thousands of pages in some cases and I'm anxious whether turning OFF the "scalable feature" will make the performance suffer.

Are you running Enterprise Edition? I believe flashback database is only available with Enterprise.

I have a problem with enabling the HP Web Services. When I push the application button on the printer, the monitor shows "connecting..." and then nothing is happen or an error apear thet my device could not connect to servers. I can't print information sheet on web services panel to get the claim code and add my device in www.hpconnected.com . My device is connected to the internet with no problem by a wireless Dlink Router. I also changed my device IP from 192.168.1.11 to 192.168.1.55 manually, and I change Preferred DNS Address to 8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS Address to 8.8.4.4 and nothings happen. I can see the menu but I can not enable the HP Web Services in there. no proxy. no firewall. I do not know what can I do for solveing this problem. Please help me.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you are getting a connection error message when trying to enable the web services for your Laserjet Pro M172fw printer.
As you have already tried setting the manual IP address and manual DNS servers, please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

Problems with the Resume feature

Hello.
Since I installed Lion I've been having a problem with the Resume feature. I've been searching for a solution, or at least others with the same problem, but in vain.
I've always used the feature, but sometimes it works, other times not so much. As an example: I might have Safari opened with multiple tabs and TextEdit opened with multiple windows too, even Finder with multiple windows opened. I shutdown/restart with Resume checked and when it's login in the first thing I see are all the windows I had from last time, after a few moments the Safari window disappears (but the application is still opened), or the TextEdit windows disappear, or even Finder or other application I might had open before. It seems to be a little random in terms of what applications "lose" their windows at login, sometimes all, a few, or none.
Is anyone having the same problem? Is it a bug or a problem with the installation?

are some of these apps on fullscreen mode? they will disappear after opening, since they can't all be visible at the same time.
and do you use spaces? similar story, if the app in question is in a space other than finder.

I Too am having problems with iBooks highlighting the entire chapter if I touch the right edge of a page. It overrides my previous highlighting making my studying useles. It's terribly frustrating! iOS 8 has been a big,big problem. Apple has to fix this. There should be a way to undo it. It's a terrible mess.

As I mentioned in title I have a problem with hp pavilion dv7-6140ew (i7-2630qm) Win7 64bit.
This is a brand new laptop I bought him few days ago
Of course I notified this problem to the hp support center. But they did not know what it could be.
But may someone will know where the problem is.
I would like also to ask whether this is the normal behaviour?
I have terrible interrupting (It looks similar to old problem with HDD witchout DMA) I saw, that it took place while the kernel process suddenly takes the large amount of the processor space. For instance
by the mcAffee process (the antivirus) but it takes place also with other
(eg at uninstalling of the software). But not always - There is on no rule.
I recorded the example-film with 3dmark03 (I added the music from winamp) and in 0:25 the McSvHost.exe process start - which is visible on the photo.

Another issue, that I found, is that, If process takes suddenly large amount of processor space in each of 4 core (8 with turbo boost) the error take place. For instance mcAfee process McSvHost sometimes cause such error. But it disappear when I change colligation in task manager for this process to be used by for instance one core.
Does anybody knows what is going on and what cause it ?

Architectural Problem with file upload feature. URGENT!!!

          We have an architecture in a production site which has iPlanet in the front & WebLogic at the back. The web-tier and the middle-tier both reside on the WebLogic server & only the static assets (images, PDFs etc.) are serviced by iPlanet. Recently we had to incorporate a new feature to our existing site to allow the user to upload images onto the server. The problem with this is that since our web-tier is in WebLogic, the uploaded file would reside in the WebLogic server's document root and will not be accessible to the iPlanet server. Is there any way that I can store the images directly in iPlanet even though the servlets reside on WebLogic. I know this query sounds a bit weird & I'm asking for too much but I also have this feeling the architecture of our site is not very different from a lot of other sites & other sites also have upload functionalities, so how do they go about dealing with this problem. Porting the web-tier to iPlanet is not a solutions since there are a lot parties involved & we cannot at this point take that decision.
          Would really appreciate any help from you guys.

u can have AppServers serve the image if u want to.
          u just need to set the path correctly and save them in the right directory.
          we are already doing it with Iplanet and we wrote a sample for Weblogic6.1 too.
          if i remember correctly u need to put the image directiry say "imageDirectory" in "wlserver6.1"
          then u need to access via http://apache_webserver_box:80/weblogic_identifier/imageDirectory/myimage.jpg

Problems with the Diff-Feature

i am new to EMF-Compare and i use it to compare parts of my models. I have enountered a problem with the comparison where there are differences but the compare algorithm cant find them.
here are my two models
Here is the code i use:

After i have run the code the list is empty.
Any other changes are found and properly shown.
The model on picture 2 is contained in another element not shown in the screenshot. Is it possible that this causes the error?

Unfortunately, EMF Compare doesn't support the comparison of EGenerics inside EType Parameters yet. So it is normal that you see no differences in your case.

Problems with enabling commenting toolbar on Reader 7

I have extended the commenting rights for a pdf with extensions server. I am running the evaluation version of extensions server. When I open the reader extended pdf inside the browser, it doesn't show up the commenting toolbar only in Reader 7. But if I open the same pdf in the local reader application, the commenting toolbar shows up. I am having hard time figuring out the issue. Does have any insight. Now this all works fine online, offline in Adobe 6. Reader 7 browser plugin has the problem.
One more thing. I installed Acrobat professional to just see if the commenting toolbar is enabled and I get this message after I click on the status at left bottom:
"This document restricts some acrobat features to allow for extendedfeatures in Adobe Reader. To create a copy of file document that is not restricted (and has not extended features in Adone Reader), choose File > Save a Copy."
Any idea????

Just run into a solution. You should upgrage to Reader Extensions v7.0.2 for this to work. Read the section
"Enabling commenting in a PDF document rendered in a web browser"
in the ReadMe.htm file that accompanies Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions Version 7.0.2
The procedure described lets you enable Adobe Reader 7.0 and later to allow commenting when the PDF document is rendered in a web browser, similar to Adobe Reader 6.0.

Problem with Ligatures / OpenType features...

Hi, I am writing a book using an OpenType font and encountering some problems.
Note - if pics don't show up below, click and they'll "enlarge" and appear.
This type of font has alternates, which can be edited using the "Typography Panel" as shown here:
OpenType fonts, such as Zapfino, have alternate characters. Here's the default settings for this font:
Here's what it looks like when you change the Typography settings...
The changes look fine in iBooks Author, but when I sync them to iBooks on the iPad OR on the Mac, the fonts revert back to their original settings (with different character shapes). I believe this problem just started, and it is messing up my layout a great deal!
When the book transfers to the iPad, it looks fine while the "loading..." screen is there. But as soon as the loading is done, the fonts jump from the chosen "Typography" setting to the default. This happens with downloaded OpenType fonts as well as pre-installed ones from Apple. It also occurs even when I am starting a fresh book from a template, so I don't think my file is corrupt. Any idea what I can do to help?

I'm not using Zapfino in the book, but I knew it would be a good example since it is a default font. I was under the impression that iBooks supported OpenType features because they allow selection of special typography features in iBooks Author, those features display in iBooks Author, and there's some mention of turning on/off ligatures at this support site iBooks Author: Change text font, size, color, alignment, and spacing (see 2nd to last paragraph) ... ligatures being in the same panel as the other options.
However, if it doesn't work for you and doesn't work for me... it probably just doesn't work!

Problem with Deactivating iCloud-Features

Trying out some solutions fixing the battery-drain.problem i´ve found another problem.
by trying to deactivate the icloud-features my iphone 4 hangs up.

Problem with enabling usage rights for Adobe Reader

I have designed a form using Live cycle. From Live cycle I export it as PDF. As a final step, I open the PDF by using acrobat professional to enable usage rights for Adobe Reader. As soon as I enble the rights it saves the document with a different name, which is fine. However; at the same time it also runs the postsave events from the form and removes a couple of objects. How do I avoid this? My form has very little code:
There is a drop down field called 'LearningSolutionsAdvisor' which has the following code on PostSave event:

There is 'Save' button which has the following code:

This video is very helpful as it explains exactly what I want to do: Extend Features in Adobe Reader, to allow my readers to save their changes. However, I do not have that option in my version of Adobe X Pro 10.1.4. Can anyone explain to me why I don't have that option, and what an alternative would be?

About "Write LabVIEW Measurement File" Expres vi. I got problems with ENABLE function

It is a traditional DAQ problem. I acquire some data and I want to write it on file only if voltage value is greater than a constant value (I used "Comparison" Express vi to do comparison). This mean that enable must depend on the result of comparison. I dont want to write unuseful data. What happens is that if the last scan is greater than the threshold, all data is written; if the last scan is smaller, all data is not written.No matter if intermediate scan result is zero or one.

There may be a bug in the comparison VI. I experimented with simple waveforms (0,0,1,0,0) and (0,0,1,0,0,1). I used the greater than with a cut off of .5. I also set the VI to output one answer for the entire sample.
I saw that the VI outputed 0 for both data sets. When I used the property page to invert the input, both sets outputed 1. I believe that if you just inverted the output of the comparison VI, you will be fine.

Problem with Adobe BRIDGE getting Photoshop/Image Processor menu

When I open my drop-down or fly-out menu under TOOLS in Bridge (CS3 version), the entire portion of the menu which is supposed to appear next underneath the Cache line option is missing (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Start Meeting..., Photoshop services).
What gives?
I'm trying to get to Image Processor under the Photoshop menu option (which is supposed to appear in the Tools drop-down menu).
Please tell me what's wrong. Thanks in advance.

Recently I did the update of the DPS tools, to the 27, the desk top viewer dosen´t install, and I install it manually as sugested, and it works
but, I can´t connect the folio builder panel with the DPS account using the folio builder panel side menu, simply it dosen`t work.
I can sign in into the account in DPS home page, using the app builder log in panel an so on, but folio builder panel don´t
Some one has the same behavior?
Is this a an Apocalypsis signal?
or a warning about the Nibiru affaire?
Any clue?

hello ludovix78. Welcome to the world of those who can not connect to the Folio Builder.
To give you an idea, this problem started with the v26, and then fix the v27 and nobody gave a possible solution.

Is anyone having problems with the Notes feature in the new Mountain Lion OS? When I open this feature it begins to pinwheel and then it closes and I get an error message!
