Software for testing C code

I am a master student of Computer Science, I want to develop a program for testing soucre code in C (software metrics).
Can anybody tell me, any free application to download or any free source code or any guidence.

try looking for software metrics stuff in sourceforge. That sounds pretty high powered (I have not even heard or seen anything like that around) but sourceforge may be a good place to start.

I have an unfortunate ongoing, unresolved problem with my mac (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1429403&tstart=0). My machine has been deemed 'working' by a 3rd party repair shop, which I personally doubt tremendously.
Is there some software for download/purchase out there, that I can use to 'stress test' my machine, and furthermore, a sort of checklist to see what my MBP theoretically should be able to perform, in the various categories of performance?
I have tried searching the web, but I don't think I know the right terminology.

CVS is more command based.. and I dont see Visual
Source Safe going anywhere... They dont have Visual
Source Safe.NET also..In my opinion Subversion and using the tortoiseSVN
client for win32 (http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/) is
so infinitely better than source safe, it's laughable.
And its free!Unfortunately I'm stuck with VSS at my company, but thanks for the heads up on Subversion, dmbdmb. I didn't know about it.

How can you say you are hiring test engineers with LabVIEW, yet the job description doesn't even mention LabVIEW. All I see in there is CAD design.

Should I buy Coldfusion 8 for testing?

The company has Coldfusion 7 and I used it for testing the
code locally in conjunction with Dreamweaver.
Does Adobe have a development server version of CF 8 to test
locally before it gets uploaded to the outside web servers... or do
I need to upgrade/purchase CF8?

I would suggest you upgrade your computer's OS minimally to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Upgrading to Snow Leopard

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to perform an update. I recommend trying to update using iTunes, and as always, it is a good idea to make a backup first.

Apple Hardware Test software for late '07 Macbook?

Where do I get the Apple Hardware Test software for a late '07 Macbook? Original disk is long lost and it doesn't appear Apple has this up for download.
The battery is not taking any charge, totally dead after 772 cycles. But don't know if its the battery or the Macbook's internal battery charging hardware.

I have never personally used CVS but its version control? Is it like Visual Source Safe?

Can you normally use it from a browser - no. But then I would suppose that before you can set up CVS (or any version control system for use via a browser) you must first have a web server. Do you have a web server?

What is the best software for cataloguing a large book collection into my iMAc. I would like to use a hand-held scanner, and scan bar codes, entering ISBN numbers only when necessary. Currently using Book Collector (www.collectorz.com) on a PC. desktop

I did something similar and used an application for my phone (Android OS at the time), which I can't recall the name of, to bulk scan the bar codes and subsequently upload the list to my mac in the form of an excel spreadsheet (it was a csv file). When I migrated to an iPhone, the application "Bar code scanner" performed in the same manner. Using my phone was by far the easiest method of bulk scanning (and subsequently cataloguing on my machine) in both instances.

How do I design software to test multiple devices simultaneously and indpendently?

I have a fixture for burning in up to 10 Controllers. I’ve written a VI to test one of the controllers but I’m not sure what approach to take to write the software for burning in up to 10 Controllers independently.
The fixture's computer uses USB/GPIB with a 34970 Agilent Switcher and a junction box to switch CAN communications on and off between the computer via a 8473 USB/CAN converter and any one of the 10 controllers.
Each controller burn-in cycle is 50 hours and I need to be able to burn-in Controllers independently, including being able to start a burn-in for any of the 10 Controllers at any time. Also I need the capability to have any number of Controllers burning in, from 1 to 10 at any time. So for example I might want to start a burn-in for a Controller then 2 hours later start a burn-in on another Controller. Each burn-in would end 50 hours later at which time I might or might not start another Controller in that station while other Controllers are somewhere in their 50 hour cycle.
Also during the 50 hour burn-in every minute or so I would like to connect the CAN, in turn, to each station in use to send and receive CAN commands to acquire data which would be stored into a separate file for each Controller.
In addition to help on the approach to take, I also would like help on how to create ten 50 hour timers, one for each station that would start whenever a controller burn-in starts and end after 50 hours. This is my second large Labview Project.

I've decided to use a Producer-Consumer architecture for this project, but it is my first experience with one and I'm having a problem.
To operate the program as I have so far:
1. Select an active device button (1 of 10)
2. Select "Start Burn In"
3. (May repeat process for any or all of the active device buttons - all 10 can be active at once)
4. To stop burn in for any device select "Stop Burn In" for the selected active device button.
The way I have it shown in 1.VI it does what I expect. But when I try to add code in the "TimeCheck" case of the Producer loop things do not work.
This can be shown by removing the disabled loop in "TimeCheck".
The intent of data in the "TimeCheck" case is to run continuously for all loaded devices as individual devices are started and stopped, or stop automatically after 48 hours.
As an alternate approach, I also tried putting the code I have in the "TimeCheck" case directly into the "TimeOut" event, but I couldnt get that to work either. Notice in 2.VI I tried just putting a while loop into the "TimeOut" event and it doesn't execute.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
