Xcode internal error "couldn't create ~/.Xcode"

hi all, I've got a fresh download of xcode 3.2.4 on snowleopard 10.6.5 and when starting a project on my usual User (which is a standard user) i get an "couldn't create ~/.Xcode" error.
I've created a new standard user and xcode works fine with it
id prefer to keep to my one usual user, any ideas?
edit - should add that if i click 'continue' then xcode launches but i'm loathe to trust it

In the Finder, do Get Info on your home folder. At the bottom of the Get Info window, click the + button.
The actual ownership may be incorrect so you might not be able to remove _unknown.
Another alternative would be to use the Terminal:
sudo chown $USER:staff ~

Ok. I've managed to solve my problem. Thanks to everybody.
For anyone who is interested in here is the solution that fixed the error for me :
Because I had before installed JVM version 1.4.2 and then I uninstalled it and put the version 1.4.1_01, as the one that App Server 7.0 is using, the uninstaller has left a newer version of jvm.dll in WINNT/System32
After I've renamed this file to _jvm.dll (for example), just to get rid of it, the domain and his instances have started correctly.

Ah, thanks for the response! When I looked into the project folders, I discovered I was somehow missing several of the XCode packages. I 'upgraded' my installation and now everything seems to be in order with no 'internal error' messages. Thanks again!

I can see the below severe error in the nohup.out log file for OES.
Environment:
Unix Server 1: OES admin and SM
Unix Server 2: SM with the same name
Both the SM pointing to Server 1 admin server.

It seems that one of the providers was mis-configured (the first service called) :

Internal Error -5000 when creating AP Credit Memo

hi all, i've some problem when trying to create AP Credit Memo using VB.Net via SAP B1 SDK.
My application keep throwing error "Internal Error -5000 Occured"
My friend suggest me to create AP Credit Memo using SAP B1 application first, then try using the same parameter that i inputed into the system to create AP Credit Memo using SDK, he said it ussualy works.
I already try my friend suggestion to create AP Memo using SAP B1 Screen and it
was worked.
The information that i input when creating AP Memo via SAP screen are :
- Vendor
- Item/Service Type ="Service"
- Item/Service Description
- G/L Account
- Tax Code ="VNC"
- WTaxLiable =No
But when I try to create AP Memo using VB.NET using SAP SDK, it still
throwing the same exception as before (Internal Error -5000 Occured) even
I passing the same parameter.

if you want ot create a A/P Credit memo, you do not have to give the basetype/BaseLine/BaseEntry fields between document lines.
the correct is:

i have installed EP on WAS 6.40.
when i am tring to create a user i am getting the error as : "Couldn't create User".
can someone guide me as to how to resolve this issue....

Did you face any problems while installing Portal?
The reason why I asked you is that I recently installed SP12 and did not face any problem. was able to create users without any problems.

Internal error trying to create a VM

I'm unable to create a VM in Azure, and I just get this message. Is there anything I can do to find out more? I'm totally stuck. Azure status looks good so I have nothing to go on. Thanks.

Which region did you select when creating the VM? Can you create VMs in other region?
Based on my experience, sometimes, after getting the error "The server encountered an internal error. Please retry the request", you can wait for a while, then you can create a VM succussfully.

Error: "Couldn't create Crystal Reports Engine for report format version 10.0"

I created several reports in ClearQuest v2003.6.15 using Crystal Reports v10. When a user tries to run these reports from his machine he gets the following error:"Problems executing ReportContact your ClearQuest administrator to verify that a supported version of Crystal Reports has been installed.Couldn't create Crystal Reports Engine for report format version 10.0"My version of CR is compatible with this version of CQ and he shouldn't need CR installed to run the reports so I'm not sure what the issue is?

I have the same problem with ClearQuest 7.0.1.1, except the error contains 'version 11.0' instead of 10.0.This happened when I installed Crystal Reports XI Pro designer. I followed the procedure to manually uninstall and re-install CR, which allowed me to to author report formats, but I still get this error when trying to view report in the ClearQuest for Windows client. I tried to re-register all the CR viewer DLLs I could find, but still no luck.Any suggestions? Thanks,Nate

JCO connection error:Couldn't create JCOClientConnection for logical System

Hi All,
We are facing a production outage issue.
We have a Federated Portal Network setup where one of our producer goes down automatically (seems on heavy load).
On this Producer server we have 3 Web Dynpro applications deployed and default trace is full with JCO connection error   saying Could   not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: CSVMR_WD_MODELDATA_DEST.
We had issue with max allowed JCO connections so we changed the below mentioned parameters for JCO connection settings in portal:
u2022     Minimum value of JCo Pool Size in total = 80
u2022     Minimum value for CPIC_MAX_CONV per SAP Web AS = 320
u2022     Maximum Number JCo Connections = 160
Please let us know if we are missing on some settings, any help in this regard is appreciated.

Hi,
As you have already increased the maximum number of connections/pool size but still you are facing this problem. I would suggest you to check the web dynpro application which might not be able to release/disconnect the JCO connection.

Xcode ERROR: Failed to create an alert for ID "enabled" based on defaults: 1

I installed OX 10.8 and xcode 4.4 and when I run any simple application for simulator it generated error in console:
Xcode[7808]: ERROR: Failed to create an alert for ID "enabled" based on defaults: 1
I reinstalled with clean xcode, but it did not help. I see the building freeze when "coping 2 of 2 resources to product
Also, xcode freezes when I jusy click on Mainstoryboard.storyboard file.
I found a few posts with the same ERROR but no clear fix. Any help will be appriciated.

Hi, i had the same problem yesterday and after searching I found no solution to this error.
Today i just burned the original Mountain Lion.dmg to a portable hard driver then reinstall the OS. And it seemed that the os had been restored and the error had been fixed.
And, i guess there's some app that changes some documents of the system. So when you rewrite the os, u get the bug fixed.

'Couldn't create RGB colorspace error'

Hi,
I tried to print with my HP Deskjet F380 under SnowLeopard and get the following error message:
'Error: Couldn't create RGB colorspace'
I've not found information about this error message.
The test page (printer's utility) comes out without any problem, but if I try to print from any other app, this error comes.
Can this issue be in relation with monitor calibration (I used Eye one calibrator to create icc profile a few days ago)

Apple doesn't write the drivers, so if using the Generic PostScript PPD or switching drivers doesn't work, you might have better luck contacting Brother and Samsung.

Couldn't create temporary file.

I have a 1TB drive in my Mac Pro running Mavericks 10.9.4 and I went to disk utility to erase some free space on the drive. However I keep getting the error message:
Secure Erase Free Space failed

Couldn't create temporary file.
I Googled the error message and couldn't find anything. The error message is heaps unhelpful, it doesn't tell me why it couldn't create a temporary file or what I can do to fix it. Please help, it would be much much appreciated!

I have a time machine backup that is up to date, with tons of extra space. Could I copy over the files I have on my macbook pro hard drive and recopy back once I have wiped out the hard drive, thinking maybe there is a problem copied onto the ™ backup?

I am trying to use the VideoTransmit demo code

Well I figured out why the screen is garbled. This is a seperate issue with the size of the video which is unrelated to the java portion oy my problem.

As for the JMF install, I did the install from an xterm and I still have the same errors displayed. This is with the display variable set properly.
As for the JPG transmission test, I thought it was possible to use a static image as a source. No big deal because I am only concerned with getting video to work.
As for the audio, I am trying to figure out how to disable it because I dont need it. Is there a way to disable it?

Your trigger is way too complicated: you don't need the extra cursor, which just seems there to control whether a row exists or not - just run the statements without extra checking.
